Peaceful! It’s like an Eden. The sound of Coucal birds hooting, tree frogs calling and breezes moving the trees while showering in the outdoor shower. The fantastic staff: Jon at the reception. Therapists: Lovely and Debbie and Mira. So talented! The services are worth every peso!!!
That we had to leave!
Awesome can not complain. Maybe the only thing wrong it’s not my permanent home
The spa was excellent and we would definitely recommend the treatments. T staff very friendly and helpful. There was a path to take you to the beach. The villas could be amazing with some TLC.
The villas need updating as they were very tired. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy on the night that we stayed with barking dogs and loud music from a nearby nightclub which didn’t align with the relaxing experience we were hoping for. There was not much hot water (no where near enough for a bath, even though there was a bath in the bathroom). We were expecting more healthy options in the restaurant.
Villa digital detox bellissima, curata ed elegante. Giardino tropicale curatissimo e rigoglioso.
Quiet and peaceful, more laidback stay. Reminds me of Boracay in its golden ages
Hope it was more lit up, facilities are a bit run down (maybe also due to the age of the property), bit of mold on the ceiling of our restroom
We just wrapped up a magical 5-night stay at Mandala Spa in their Digital Detox Villa, and it's hands down the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in serenity—this place is a true oasis of calm and luxury that far exceeded our expectations. The bungalow itself was stunning: impeccably clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious over 100m2. The bathroom was a standout—huge and innovative with glass window walls everywhere, blending seamlessly with the outdoors while maintaining total privacy. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living areas overlooked our own lush inner private garden, flooding the space with natural light and tropical vibes. It was like waking up in a dream every morning. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable. The resort's gardens are even more breathtaking—meticulously maintained, vibrant, and peaceful, perfect for unwinding with a book or just soaking in the tranquility. It's like a well-kept secret haven away from Boracay's busier spots, enhanced by its private road tucked away from the main streets. You don't hear any noise at all—no traffic, no crowds—which is NOT typical for most stays in the Philippines, where hustle and bustle often seep in. The staff made our stay truly special—they're warm-hearted, polite, and genuinely friendly. Their attentiveness felt authentic and heartfelt, adding that extra touch of magic. Breakfast was à la carte, with healthy, delicious options tailored per person—fresh fruits, smoothies, that were both nourishing and flavorful. The service there was charming, with smiles that brightened our mornings. We also indulged in massages, and the therapists were exceptional: skilled professionals with seamless, flowing movements that left us deeply relaxed and somehow "connected"—it's hard to describe. For the price, this place is an absolute steal—it should cost at least double!
Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike—it's hard to find faults in such a perfect spot. If we had to nitpick, the only small point was that the bungalow's massive bed felt almost too big for just two, but that's hardly a complaint! Everything else was flawless.
Great location, felt like you were in nature.
Nothing.
The quietness and the spacious room were wonderful. Although the resort is a little bit old, you can clearly see that the materials used are high quality and built to last
The pillows and the mattress were unfortunately awful for both my husband and me. I’m generally a bit sensitive when it comes to this, but my husband usually isn’t — and even he had problems with both the pillow and the mattress.

Staff was very attentive and helpful.
Bad quality of furniture, insect everywhere. Fridge not working, telephone only rings, toilet seat broken already, flush cover came out when pressed, balcony door handle come out when opened, swinging chair sound very disturbing when sitting and about to break, bath tub detached already from the floor, very poor breakfast options. I was in villa #9. As per the website, pictures and the price of the resort, I expected a luxury stay, even a hostel would have been in a better condition. I booked 6 nights and from day one I was counting the days to leave that place.
Everything was perfect

Ci tornerei molto volentieri.
The staff are absolutely amazing hands down the best in the Philippines I have experienced.

Peaceful environment. Beautiful location Fabulous breakfast Excellent spa
Just as shown on website. Large rooms set in beautiful gardens. Freindly, helpful staff. Reasonable rates. Should be booked out, but isn't - your lucky day!
A small swimming pool would have closed the deal.
1. Spacious, clean and comfortable villa with huge bathroom and balcony. Staff was extremely hospitable and helpful. Also we liked breakfast and ability to rent a bike. Not far from White beach but very quite and separated. Next time in Boracay we’ll definitely stay here again!

Love the spacious, beautifully adorn and I felt like I was in paradise.
Nothing
The place and the staff.
We spent couple of days in this resort and I was very beautiful. The resort itself big and quiet . A lot of trees and natura around you. The villas are superb. So spacious , with big en-suite bathroom , open air shower, a nice terrace and flowers everywhere . This place it’s very beautiful if you want unwind . It’s just a short 5 to 10 min walk to the main beach area , and it’s great if you want peace during your stay on boracay. They also have a Spa ( we did not try it ) but it looks very beautiful. The staff it’s so kind. They always say hello and welcoming you with a smile. They are lovely and they make sure that your stay it’s superb. Keep it up the good job 🙂
The only downside is that the property needs a bit of maintenance. Some areas of the resort look abandoned, and other parts more neglected. It’s not really nice to see cause the resort has a big potential. Even the rooms , beautiful and clean but you can tell that need a bit of refurbishing done. Also the SPA is very expensive . The prices are too high even for what the resort looks like now. Just few things to fix and I am sure it will go back to where the resort was before . Overall we had a great stay at mandala .
We loved everything: our room was amazing with a huge bed in a big beautiful hut. Big bathroom with bathtub and outdoor shower, private terrasse opening on a lush space. Total privacy and very clean. The breakfast was very good, I especially loved the quinoa pancakes and the French omelette. The massage at the spa was great, felt very complete and great atmosphere. The service and people were very kind & helpful. Cleaning staff was efficient and thorough. We loved the location at 10 min walk from the beach, level of station 3 with the most beautiful and calmer part of White Beach (and also very good restaurant nearby) If we go again to Boracay we will come back to mandala Spa for sure.
It was not a problem for us but older people or guest with small kids will find the walking from the beach to the hotel a bit tiring, especially that the villas are some distance away from the spa entrance. Count 15 min walk from your room to the beach. On the other hand, being close to main road had it advantages too.
Absolute oasis. The villa is large with lots of space to relax and unwind. Beautiful bathroom and outdoor shower. The staff is very exceptional and friendly. It honestly felt like you were a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of white beach but it was only a short walk away. Would stay again
+ Stunning friendly staff + Stunning massage offerings + Great breakfast a la carte options + Feels like butler service due high amount of staff vs guest numbers + Special requests will get tried to fulfill + Rather boutique hotel feeling - some wear and tear maintenance required, of which some urgently - rather rustic atmosphere in the nature with surrounding sounds and not well isolated villas - yoga room no longer available but private lesson only
Spa treatment best ever 💯
Breakfast choices poor
We arrived at 10am and were delighted that we were welcomed to check-in already. Right when we booked our stay, we were immediately messaged about our Digital Detox Room -- that there is no TV nor Internet. It worked out well. Data and mobile signal were strong in the room. No issue. We were also drawn a couple bath, too! We were given citronella spray and just needed to refill at the front office. One our last morning, we requested for our breakfast to be brought to the room at 10am, after we have welcomed sunset in Station 1. Our meal was still warm when we arrived.
People who are not familiar with the island may find Mandala Spa and Resort far from the party happenings. We preferred the distance. The path to the beach entrance was a bit concerning due to the steep steps toward the beach. Please take note: Once you reach the gate, turn right to reach the beach.
The team at Mandala was exceptional! Great hospitality! The spa services are the best we’ve had in the Philippines.
The property is a bit dated and needs some repairs however, it would not prevent us from coming back.
Breakfast was good, fresh mango juice was amazing. All staff extremely attentive and welcoming. We had a fabulous stay at the villa overlooking woods and the sea.
Sometimes the hot water didn't work but imagine that was caused by the power cuts so not the hotels fault!
Lots of beauty and character
The room is very big, great food, for the breakfast you should chose from the manu one dish.
In our rooms was a geko, wich is fine, i know they don't do nothing, the run when the saw us.. but these one make some noise all the night, like a scream..
Big challet, nice bathroom, nice garden, good breakfast.
Distance to the beach and the road to the beach. Is not a resort direct problem but impact the holiday. No beach chairs in proximity, only at 3 km away.
Mandala Hotel excelled in terms of staff service. The team was highly efficient, detail-oriented, helpful, and courteous. The location is great if you want to be a bit away from the buzz of Station 3 and White Beach.
However, the experience was not without its drawbacks. Roosters from nearby houses crowed throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We also encountered a couple of roaches in the room—understandable given the hotel’s location in the middle of a forest, but still worth noting. The room’s curtains let in a significant amount of light, so blackout curtains would be a great improvement, especially for light-sensitive sleepers. Additionally, the bidet tap was stuck and difficult to turn off, and the bathtub had an unusual drainage system—a metal stick with three holes that caused water to spill outside the tub, rendering it unusable. One of the chairs on the balcony also had a broken leg. As for the Prana Restaurant, it was underwhelming. We had much better meals outside the hotel, and the breakfast was quite limited, offering only one drink and a single dish choice from a small selection.
A truly exceptional stay! The villa was spacious and beautifully designed, with intricate details, a large bed, and an outdoor shower. The Romantic Spa Journey package was incredible, making our stay feel like a dream. The staff was warm and extremely helpful, assisting with reservations, scooter rentals, and transfers, all of which went smoothly. Breakfast was not a buffet, but the à la carte options were delicious and well-presented. This is the perfect place to relax and escape the busy tourist crowds of Boracay while still being close to the ferry port and a short walk or e-trike ride from Station 2.
Before our arrival, the hotel attempted to cancel our booking, stating that the Black Friday deal we booked was too low due to a pricing error. They initially requested double the price or offered free cancellation, which we did not accept. After several emails, they finally honored the original booking. Additionally, there was no hot water in the room, and the hotel does not have a pool, though their focus is more on spa and relaxation services.
The location is quite perfect, the beach is just nearby and it's the end of station 3 so it's not overly crowded. Without staying at this hotel, I wouldn't be able to find this beach. It's very convenient. Also, the resort greenery is very relaxing every time we enter. Despite the noisy crowd outside, everytime we step back to the hotel, it's a completely different experience
This resort is extremely dated. While it may have been appealing when it first opened, two decades of neglect are evident. The bathroom was in disrepair; the shower didn't function, and the toilet required multiple flushes. The lighting throughout the resort was dim, making it difficult to see. The bed, though soft, was clearly old and the sheets were uncomfortable. We both experienced back pain every night of our seven-night stay. I was relieved to finally return home and sleep in my own bed. The resort's restaurant was equally disappointing. The food was almost inedible. My partner became ill during our stay, and after a single, disastrous attempt at room service, I was forced to go out every night to find food. The Pad Thai was particularly awful—a congealed, sour mess that I couldn't even swallow. The pumpkin soup was plain, nothing to taste. While I didn't have high expectations for hotel room service, the quality was far below acceptable standards.
Relaxing
The floor room is not clean. Looks like they didn't swept the floor. Expensive.
Mandala staff go above and beyond! They are truly the highlight of a stay here. So helpful and kind. All the little things are taken care of without you having to ask. Airport transfer - done. Room cleaned while having your spa service - done. The spa is also really nice and super relaxing. I highly encourage anyone staying here to take advantage of the spa. In loud, busy Boracay, Mandala is a small piece of quiet and tranquility.
This was such a treat! The property is so beautiful and the staff was really friendly. We got the Mandala Signature Massage which was amazing and then the Asian Floral bath in our villa which was so blissful. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were also really good.
Great location with serene surroundings, Superfriendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast at the restaurant onsite was very good although a bit pricy.
Although it said it is a newly renovated villa the interior was outdated and the AC very noisy. Some of the spa programs were not available and those who were, are quite expensive. The noise from the nearby karaoke bar was quite disturbing.
The room and toilet is beautiful, in the middle of the nature and 5 min walking from the white beach. The beach close was almost without people making it perfect
The room is in the middle of the nature, so expect some bugs if you leave the windows open.
Beutiful and quite place , an escape from the rush of the city, and yet very clost to everything. Located at station 3, only a few minutes to white beach. The staff is on another level, very pleasent and worm and made our stay really great. The facilities were spacious with full privacy, with attention to details such as music and smell in the rooms. They also offer healthy and dalicious food in the restaurant at the place, with affordable prices. There is also a Spa at the hotel, with wonderfull treatments and great packages to hotel visitors.
Very quite and relaxing place. Tropical plants are abundant in this property which is nice to look at.
Nothing. I like everything about it except maybe for some mosquitos outside but that’s how it is.
Very nice and spacious villas, extremely friendly and helpful staff (convenient communication via Whatsapp was also possible), delicious breakfast. I also booked a massage course in the spa and it was heavenly. Thank you, Mandala team!
Not really up to the hotel, but it would have been even nicer to be able to access the grounds from the beach side as well instead of only from the main street.
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandala Spa & Resort Villas, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially when I sought their help in surprising my wife. I had originally planned to surprise my wife with a bouquet from a local flower shop through the hotel. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the flowers couldn’t be delivered on the day. However, the staff at Mandala quickly improvised, creating a beautiful bouquet from the vibrant tropical flowers growing around the resort. They even prepared a bath adorned with jasmine flowers, the national flower of the Philippines, which added a special touch to the experience. My wife was absolutely delighted! The staff were consistently cheerful and kind throughout our stay. They even joined us for photos, making our time together all the more enjoyable. A particularly heartwarming moment occurred when I tipped the staff 200 pesos at checkout, suggesting they treat themselves to some ice cream in the heat. Later, when we returned to the hotel briefly, we saw them happily enjoying the ice cream together. It was a simple yet touching sight that left us with a smile. The hotel itself is a serene oasis. Despite the surrounding area being a bit dusty and noisy, within the resort, everything was immaculately clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The tranquility was a welcome escape from the bustle outside. As for the dining experience, we were thoroughly impressed. The food, including the drinks, was delicious. My wife particularly enjoyed the mangosteen juice, while I couldn’t get enough of the Filipino dishes and egg-based meals.
The only minor inconvenience we encountered was the occasional lack of towel and toilet paper replenishment. We understand that this may be a cultural difference, as we are accustomed to having ample towels in Japan. This seemed to be a common issue in other clean restaurants outside the hotel as well, so it might be something to be aware of if you’re visiting from abroad.

The staff at this property were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and I loved hearing all the insects and animals. The restaurant was great and the massage we had was the best massage experience I have ever had. I recommend staying in a double room- they are beautiful.
Mandala Spa treatment
Nothing
The staff were incredibly attentive. For example, as a surprise for my wife, they went above and beyond by arranging things that weren't even on the menu, such as a bouquet of flowers and a jasmine flower bath, using their own creativity to make it happen.
It was so peaceful! I could tell a lot of effort was put into making it a serene escape into nature. I loved how it relaxed all your senses, with the peaceful music playing, the essential oil scents and the beautiful scenery. The staff was so kind and helpful as well, it made us feel so comfortable during our stay!
The only thing I didn’t like was that there were bugs inside the villa at times. I expected this though so it wasn’t a surprise and I’m not sure how this would be prevented since the resort is surrounded by nature.
I stayed in detox villa and I loved it! Too comfortable with a super balcony. All the property is full of natural. It is like you are in a mountain but actually you are in an island! You need a tricycle to go in station 2 where is everything. It cost 150 pesos.
Spa, spa, spa! A massage treatment worth going to Boracay alone for. Nice setting. Staff are super nice.
Close to nature
Too many bugs inside
Very quiet and peaceful Villa. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Not a complain but it is like a 10min walk to the beach but because i rented a scooter that was no big issue
You feel like you are in the forest, it has a relaxing structure, away from the noise of the center, among many trees and greenery. Compared to the massages I tried in other islands in the Philippines, the massage therapists here were more educated, knowledgeable and had a medical background. Therefore, it was the message center I benifited most in the Philippines. Since it was a 10-minute walk from the beach, it was good for me to walk to do morning exercise.
Although it is a bit old hotel, it is a nice place to relax. Since there are many trees and greenery, you inevitably come across lizards running around on the walls of the room. But there is nothing to be afraid of, and the dogs passing by on the street sometimes bark non-stop from 2 in the morning until 6 or 7 in the morning. This was a bit disturbing. They need to enrich their breakfast options with vegetables and greens, In addition, in the spa section, a more moderate and flexible arrangement can be made for hotel guests according to the guests wishes. The strict attitude of the spa can sometimes offend hotel's guests.
The Spa and villas were lovely, staff are very attentive and friendly. Property is lush green just off main road but we heard no road noise.
There is NO swimming pool or other entertainment ie games so just spa treatments or spending time in beautiful villa. it is a 10 minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was not up to hotel standard.
From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, spotless and comfortable. We had breakfast included which was delicious. We ate in the restaurant for dinner quite a few nights and the food was fresh and very tasty. The fridge in the room was very useful to keep water and snacks in. Having laundry washed is easy and cheap. Beach towels can be borrowed daily from reception. Treatments at the spa are available to residents at 20% discount. Collectively we used the spa for 12 hours in our fortnight holiday. They are very cheap prices compared to UK and much better. Tuk tuk’s are great to travel around. Cheap and easy to use. The main D Mall shopping centre is approximately 30 walk from resort. Many diverse places to eat. Lots of shops with a busy friendly atmosphere. We hired a Tuk tuk for an afternoon to travel round. The driver was our guide and a great way to see the sights. The resort staff helped book a sunset boat trip. This left from Station 1 pontoon. Short trip from the shore there was live music. Once anchored out at sea we were able to use the stand up paddle boards, kayaks, inflatables and snorkels in the clear water. Coral Reeves below with beautiful fishes to see. Then as music flowed and the sunset set beautiful. Very calm, very relaxing and many memories to take away. If you require medical treatment there is a medical centre less than 100mtrs from the resort. They speak very good English and the prices are very cheap for treatment and medicine. There are steps from the guardhouse down to a road which goes down the side of the resort to the beach for use by residents. It takes less than 10 mins to walk to White Beach. When there if you head right it is busier and lots of people and hassle and bustle. If you were to go left it is quieter and less people so there’s a place for everyone. The beach is beautiful, the water crystal clear and warm. Mandala Spa Resort is a fabulous location, quiet and tranquil. 5 Stars.

Best and most luxurious stay I've ever had (in the Philippines and beyond). What a treat. The villa is so beautiful, with its big comfortable bed, elegant and traditional decor, glorious bathroom with a tub and outdoor shower. Even though the island is beautiful, we loved staying in and coming home. All villas are separated from each other, so you enjoy full privacy inside. No noise from neighbours. There's just an atmosphere of peacefulness in the air. The terrain of the resort is completely filled with lush green plants and trees. It's like staying in a jungle, but luxuriously. The restaurant serves great food, with plenty of options for vegetarians. It's a great place to have meals outside of the busyness of Boracay's center. The staff is outstanding. The kindest and most helpful I've come across in my travels. Very humble and polite too. We thank them for their warmth. The price / quality ratio was also great. We visited some friends at another resort in Station 1, which was multiple times more expensive than Mandala, and honestly we preferred our peaceful resort much more...
Everything was perfect.
Staff were very kind
Amazing. Beautiful experience.
A lot of ants in the room
gorgeous villa, friendly and attentive staff, and you really can’t beat the experience for the price !
