Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Our stay was amazing and the hotel was perfect. We stayed in room with sea view, room was very clean and bed comfy. Good selection at breakfast and nice bar for evening drinks. Staff were helpful and friendly and gave good advice. Hotel is well maintained, clean, lovely gardens, salt water pool was great and ladder to sea to swim. We could not have asked for more. We even booked a massage on our last day. We loved the hotel cat!

In the room, a very comfortable bed. A very short walk to multiple restaurants and a small market at the end of the street.
Our room itself, while small, was well laid out and offered good storage. The bathroom, however, was very petite.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Beautiful property that is well placed in Armenistis with easy access to great restaurants and taverns and beautiful Ikaria beaches. The staff—all of them—are friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure their guests’ stays are flawless and fulfilling. I saw one family book their 2027 holiday just after checking out, which is a true testament of guest satisfaction.
I wish the balconies offered more privacy, but in looking at other properties in the area, the openness seems to be characteristic. I would definitely go back.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026We stayed here for 2 weeks in a sea view double. We last stayed here in 2003 and the hotel still looks almost new as it has recently had a refurbishment. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the view from the balcony is beautifull, as the hotel is right on the Aegean cost. There is a small bar, and a large terrace which is a great place for a drink before or after going out for dinner. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we want to specifically call out Artemis, who works the night shift and always provides interesting company and conversation.

The salt water swimming pool is just fabulous and is situated with gorgeous views of the sea. There is a path to the sea too and viewing fish while swimming in very clear waters was a welcome surprise There is a bar menu for happy hour and fresh OJ and lattes always available. A fantastic restaurant Mary Mary is a 5 minute walk away and there are other options too.

The bathroom was very small the toilet placement was only 12-14 inches of leg room. very cramped. We thought the Balcony could have been smaller to make it a larger room including the bathroom.

The hotel has a superb location, next to two beautiful beaches, breathtaking view from the cute rooms with Mediterranean atmosphere, beautifull garden full with flowers which smell wonderfull all day long. There is a passage down from the pool to the sea and the swimming pool is also a perfect relaxing point. The breakfast has great choices and the staff is the highlight, everyone is super sweet and always helpful. Very relaxing place. I am surely coming back :)

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026On arrival we were surprised by the size & feel of the hotel. We were expecting a traditional Greek hotel but it felt more American. Large terrace with beautiful views, nice pool area, sun terrace & direct access to the sea if you are a confident swimmer. Room was spacious & clean with a wonderful view to the nearby beaches from the balcony. The hotel was situated within walking distance of the village & beach. Car hire is essential. Breakfast was good - sometimes slow to replenish items. We enjoyed our stay but it wasn’t what we expected, our view was it could have been anywhere - it didn’t feel Greek. Nothing wrong it just wasn’t us. Ikaria needs to be discovered by car. The island is full of wonderful surprises.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025Weil das Erofili zu unserer Reisezeit Mitte Oktober bereits geschlossen hat, wurde uns vom Hotel das sehr komfortable und bestens gelegene„Beach House“ mitten im Ort als Alternative angeboten. Da wir inklusive Frühstück im Hotel gebucht hatten, war als Ersatz der große Kühlschrank sehr gut gefüllt, sodass wir uns bequem und individuell selbst versorgen konnten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Der kleine Strand gegenüber und Tavernen sowie Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke machten den Urlaub auch von der Lage her äußerst angenehm.

Great restaurants and a supermarket close by. We visited at the end of the season when most activities to do were no longer on offer but it was still great. Peaceful and restorative.

Αισθανθήκαμε απόλυτη χαλάρωση και ηρεμία σε ένα αυθεντικό περιβάλλον. Το προσωπικό μας έκανε να νιώθουμε πολύ οικεία και μας βοήθησε να σχεδιάσουμε το χρόνο μας στο νησί με τον καλύτερο τρόπο.

Der Kaffee beim Frühstück. Im Zimmer fehlten Kleiderhaken und Regalböden im Schrank. Man musste nicht, wohin mit den Sachen. Eine kleine kommode wäre gut gewesen. Zu hohe Kopfkissen.

All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay and giving us recommendations for places to eat or visit. The location has everything you could need, with a great pool, lovely beaches nearby (including private steps into the sea from the hotel) and a few nice restaurants in the local town.

The staff are amazing, especially Stefania, she helped me every day to improve my Greek, told us where to eat and which places to visit. She is a great asset to Erofili and speaks English perfectly. She helped make our holiday. Eresmere was great as well, very kind and patient. If you want great views, good company, excellent breakfast and good laughs with the staff, BOOK HERE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!

The rooms lovely with amazing sea views the breakfast all you need and more. The staff are the real heroes so helpful and friendly even at the end of a long season. We really enjoyed our stay. Including meeting cous cous , the hotel cat. 🐈 I’m terrible at remembering names, so 10/10 to all of you.

The plumbing was a little loud at night and no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025The location could not be better: Phantastic view from EVERY room on the beach and located within reach to the village and beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very delicious. Worth every cent ! Just a great hub to discover the unique island of Ikaria.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025NEVER AGAIN!!! We only had have one wish: Please a quiet room... and we get the most noisy room, directly close to the reception and entry, UNBELIEVABLE!!! The hotel manager was so unfriendly and incompetent and she was not aible to change the room, although there was a perfect room free... UNBELIEVABLE and NEVER AGAIN!!!

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025We spent a family long weekend in Ilaria and Erofili was our base. The seaview is stunning, the rooms are super clean, the breakfast is a proper meal. What makes all the difference is the staff: always available, always smiling and helpful! Thank you all for a wonderful holiday!!

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025The location of this hotel offers a very beautiful view of Livadi and Mesakti beaches and of course the sea. The hotel has a great pool and its own small swimming area right in the sea. The breakfast is rich.
The door to the garden view room was awkward. Parking on the street near the hotel is a blessing.
