The only thing I liked was the views and the location.

Everything other than the location we did not like. The reception was extremely bad. The apartment. Number 16 was in a poor condition. The carpet are not in good shape. The kitchen drawers are loose. The water ceiling fire spray are broken. We got sick on the sushi. The restaurant manager gave us no help. I did not get a refund for our bad sushi. We left the hotel without staying the one night . Not a good experience at all.

Friendly and efficient staff and great location

The location was splendid, fantastic access to an external garden and play area for the little one, as well as a short distance to the beach. The room was adequate, spacious and the lounge bed was made up for our little one when we arrived. We were pleasantly excited by being able to watch the rugby in our room.

The decor in the room was dated, and there was a strange smell to the room, which could have been better cleaned.

Even with the wall heater it was still cold in the apartment. And bedding wasn't enough for the cold. Front door locking mechanism doesn't work properly.

Booking.com knew we were a family and still they booked us in 2 separate rooms, which was inconsiderat to expect us to sleep separately from the kids. We all had to squeeze into one apartment that was meant for two adults.

The setting is magnificent. The units are all self catering allowing guests options in meeting their needs

The food and food choices not the best, not in keeping with the hotel. No toasted sandwiches or breakfast options on the room service menu. Only the fish was really good.

The Location was great. Close to the sea and good mountain views The porter was helpful and friendly Our dinner experience at The Blowfish restaurant was very good- great food.

The Cabana is very old and outdated- especially the bathroom. It needs a serious refurbishment. The lighting from the Cabana to the restaurant at night was very poor and falling was a high possibility. The building requires maintenance and upgrading- the sliding door to reception was broken and could not be used

Wonderful location, the best view in the world, comfortable accommodation, nice restaurant. Nice to be able to get an early check-in and/or late check-out.

We paid for early check-in, but the room was not ready. And they were painting the porch the whole afternoon on the only day we had sunshine.

Nothing. It's by far, my best hotel in Cape Town. I wouldn't mind sleeping here even if my destination would be an hour away the next day.

Fantastic location. Great resturant, most beautiful beach. Perfect if you have little kids to play. Make sure you book a ocean view. Definitely one of my favorites in Blouberg will return as often as I can.

Out bathroom wasn't cleaned well. We had to request to have it cleaned properly before we can use the bath.

There was a loud noise the whole of Saturday night, to the extent that we did not sleep at all. This was very bad as my husband had an athletics' event on Saturday and was extremely tired afterwards. He sat on the couch the whole night. The reception said it was workings outside the property and was there the previous night as well. The municipality is supposed to inform residents. And the reception should have warned us about this.

Excellent staff and fantastic location with beautiful views. Check-in and out was a breeze. Basement parking very convenient.

Maintenance work on the stoep not completed. Cups were not clean I had to wash it myself - but it might just have been an oversight.

The accommodation was comfortable and in a great location, with shopping malls close by. Having a restaurant on site was very convenient and made meals easy. My only suggestion would be to provide bath sheets instead of standard bath towels, as they would make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this accommodation.

The room was a disgrace. TV tiny with Harley any available channel. A large lounge with no furniture and very cold and uninviting

The hotel is old and it’s clear that very little maintenance or upgrades have taken place over the years. Unfortunately they rely on the fact that their location is beautiful with the view of Table Mountain. We won’t stay there again.

Dinner

Arrived there just after 14:00 as check in clearly shows from 14:00. When I wanted to check in i was told they still busy getting the room ready. Only booked in at 14:20. Reception staff thought it was funny because I had to wait.

Out dated and for the price, plugs didn't all work. Fan rusted, heating panel didn't quite warm the room.

The location is beautiful and the fact that there’s a bath for a toddler.

Room, value for money

The restaurants that were close by, how peaceful it is there, and definitely loved the self catering room. And room service just a call away and loved the buffet breakfast

The bed was kinda uncomfortable, would've liked a sea view, especially from the restaurant at least. That there isn't a TV in the bedroom.

This hotel is at the perfect spot. Our room looked out over the sea on one side and a lagoon on the other side...perfect. The staff was very helpful with extra blankets and a heater... it was very cold. The breakfast was very nice.

Was like coming back home ... I was suprised that the security guys still know me after almost 2 years not visiting the hotel... Service always on point , the view perfect pool ws right Infront of my room... Hotel still and always be my favourite hotel though there are just small issues I'm having wth it ... But over and above hotel , stuff from the security, reception, house keeping perfect keep it up guys

Preferably they should install Aircon , the fact they using small heaters it's not so in , sitting in the living room wth a small heater it's just a waste of time then you go in the room and it's cold... The carpets also thy need to be changed now they old and some got burned marks on them other than that I'm happy

Das Badezimmer ist stark renovierungsbedürftig, wenn auch Waschbecken und Badewanne ok waren. Die Möbel in der Ferienwohnung haben ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Sonst war die Wohnung immer sauber! Der Blick morgens und abends hat alles alles entschädigt. Auch das morgendliche Frühstück war immer sehr gut und reichlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder Dolphin beach Hotel, Cabana, buchen.

TV are small with no Netflix. No air-conditioning or fan in the lounge. Hotel needs to upgrade the room facilities.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The views were truly breathtaking! The self-catering facilities were excellent and very well-equipped. Perfect place to unwind. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

The only minor downside was that the units are a bit outdated. However, everything was still very clean and well-maintained, so it did not take away from the overall comfort of our stay.

Wonderful stay, excellent location & absolutely value for money. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Very spacious self catering apartment. They also had the baby crib ready on arrival!

I didn't like that we only stayed here one night before moving to our next destination. Next time I'll make this our hub to stay while exploring the area.

Front desk staff was un accommodating to in-room phone not working properly.

Not alot of options for their breakfast but what they provided was very good. Loved our upgrade too and the room was very comfy and clean. Kitchen was spacious. Best for families! Will be back with my little ones.
