ריזורט מהמם, מתאים למשפחות עם ילדים. סוויטות המשפחה נוחות מאד ומתאימות לזוג עם שלושה ילדים. המקום נקי, במיקום מצוין. נהננו מאד בפעם הראשונה והשניה שם.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’emplacement du Bandara, à Bophut, notamment la proximité de Fisherman’s Village et la possibilité de profiter de la plage et de se promener facilement dans les environs. J’ai également beaucoup aimé le cadre tropical, la plage et l’accès direct à la mer. Avec le beau temps que nous avons eu, c’était vraiment très agréable.

En revanche, j’ai trouvé que l’hôtel en lui-même manquait un peu d’effet “waouh” et de standing par rapport à ce que j’ai payé. J’ai finalement davantage été séduite par Bophut, son ambiance et son emplacement que par l’hôtel lui-même. J’ai toutefois été assez surprise par l’ambiance générale : par moments, j’avais presque l’impression d’être en Israël plutôt qu’en Thaïlande, tant la clientèle israélienne était présente dans l’hôtel.

Hotel wordt op Booking.com aangeprezen als een 5 sterren resort, maar het heeft maar 4 sterren. Overal hangen bordjes/ briefjes wat je als gast niet mag. Hier heb ik me echt aan geërgerd. Bijvoorbeeld: geen eten op het strand tenzij bij het eigen restaurant besteld. Maar het is echt heel ingewikkeld om vanaf je standbed wat te bestellen. Er is namelijk niemand die rondloopt om te checken of iedereen okay is. De standaard luifel kamers en familie kamers zijn gedateerd. Deuren sluiten niet goed, waardoor er veel muggen naar binnen komen. In de familiekamer hangt een bordje, waarop staat: boete wanneer uw kind in bed plast van 2000 THB (50 euro). Als je een kamer verhuurt als familie kamer met kinder bedden, dan kun je dat echt niet maken. Eten diner is kwalitatief matig. Ontbijt is prima. De activiteiten ruimte voor kids gaat om 18.00 dicht. Het is dan ook niet meer mogelijk om te tafeltennissen. Dat vind ik echt niet gastvrij. Voor alle kids activiteiten moest extra betaald worden. De zee wordt heel snel diep. Veel kwallen ook in zee, waardoor zwemmen in zee vaak geen optie is. Het hele resort is wat rommelig.

The resort site is very nice and it has great potential, it is conveniently located near the fisherman village and pretty much any service you may need. The breakfast was overall good.

The hotel is poorly managed, the rooms are outdated, and the overall approach to hospitality feels impersonal. You are treated more like a number than a guest. The staff generally seem overworked and unhappy, and the impression we were left with was that guests are perceived more as an inconvenience to deal with than as people to welcome and take care of. We spent three weeks travelling around Thailand, and Bandara was both the most expensive hotel we stayed at and, unfortunately, the least welcoming experience. Perhaps because of the large number of rooms, the hotel relies heavily on an app to mediate communication with guests. Requests are submitted through the app and interactions happen via chat. While this may be efficient from an operational perspective, it feels more like a ticketing system than the warm, personal service you would expect from a five-star resort. The advertised activities are also poorly organised. They seem to exist mainly so the hotel can say they are available, but in practice they feel amateurish at best—when you are lucky enough to actually take part in one. Another major issue is the lack of enforcement of adult-only areas. Despite signs and rules clearly designating certain pools and activities for adults, these restrictions are routinely ignored. Staff either aren’t around to notice or, when they are, don’t intervene. We went to the gym and found 12-year-olds playing with the equipment and bare-chested children running around in flip-flops. The same applies to the adult pool, which was frequently full of children playing, shouting and diving. It was genuinely difficult to find a peaceful area anywhere in the resort. On the few occasions we tried to interact directly with staff, the attitude could be surprisingly rude. For example, when we approached a member of staff to ask for information about aqua gym, we were greeted with a blunt, “What do you want?

Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit erfrischenden Pools, direkt am Strand. Zimmer sehr schön gehalten, mit grossen Betten, geräumiger Dusche, Balkon usw. Bestes, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück, welches wir in all den verschiedensten Resorts in Koh Samui jemals gesehen haben. TOP

Eigentlich nichts - alles gut. Im Vergleich zu Lipa Noi, Chaweng und Lamai ist das Meer in Bophut am wenigsten speziell, da der Boden schneller abfällt und dadurch das Wasser dunkler erscheint.

It’s on the beach, nice view

The cost of this hotel is way overpriced for the standard of room and other guests. Fairly small family room, which we had to pay extra for due to my 13 year old daughter being too old, even though the bunk is a double bed! Breakfast selection is good but the other guests spoiled it. Saw lots of people picking up food with their hands, licking fingers, coughing around the food, and being completely inconsiderate of anyone else around them. I’ve stayed in other hotels along the same strip and never had this issue. The other guests were also pretty inconsiderate around the pool. Kids swimming in adult pool and not getting out when asked. Seems to be guests with lower courtesy standards staying there. I wouldn’t go back!

・朝食はアラカルトとビュッフェで方式が分かれており、アラカルトは素晴らしかったですが、ビュッフェはもう少し種類があってもよいと思いました。 ・部屋のシャワーの水はけがイマイチでしたが、許容範囲かと。

נאבד לנו המפתח לחדר ושביקשנו חדש הם ביקשו 100 באט עבור זה. רק אחרי שאמרתי לו שזה לא הוגן, וויתר ונתן מפתח חדש.

I would like to thank the front desk team for their outstanding service. They were welcoming, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Steffen (5 stars) who went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth and pleasant arrival. He truly cared about our experience and did an excellent job. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained and very clean. The rooms are spotless, and the housekeeping service was excellent throughout our stay.

Unfortunately I had to deduct one stars because of the staff in the Premium Villas dining area. The male staff members there were unfriendly impatient and lacked basic customer service skills. It felt as though if they didn’t like you for some reason, they made sure you felt it through their attitude and behavior. This was very disappointing and did not reflect the high standards expected from a hotel of this level. I sincerely hope the hotel’s management takes this feedback seriously as improving the service in the dining area would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

Good location, great well-established gardens. Excellent facilities for guests such as water sports, kids club, aqua aerobics, and gym. Spacious rooms.

The buildings, specifically the pool and the room interiors and fittings are getting a bit tired. The pools didn’t feel particularly clean, the bed was lumpy, and the restaurant was disappointing and overpriced.

The rooms and grounds were fantastic.

The sea is not very nice - feels grimy. Also breakfast for people in the normal rooms wasn’t great - seemed like the breakfast for the villas was good. Lots of children so if looking for some quiet adult time then maybe not the right hotel.

Schönes Hotel, toller Strand und ein sehr schöner gepflegter Garten & Poolbereich. Das Personal ist spitze! Freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren gut mit Balkon oder Terasse. Frühstück war lecker und vielseitig mit einem grandiosen Blick aufs Meer. Die Beachbar war super, allerdings nicht gerade günstig. Lage war gut, 10 Min fußläufig zum Fishermans village. 5 Min.zum Nightmarket. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Bandara unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Die Liegen am Pool waren ständig belegt. Das lag in erster Linie am "Handtuch reservieren" um dann stundenlang zu verschwinden. Es wurde zwar vermerkt, dass in diesem Fall nach 30 Min.die Liegen vom Personal geräumt werden, passiert ist dies jedoch nicht.

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad . De kamers waren ruim, schoon en comfortabel, met een heerlijk bed en alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt. Het resort is prachtig onderhouden, Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en van uitstekende kwaliteit. Ook het personeel verdient een groot compliment: iedereen was vriendelijk, behulpzaam en altijd bereid om een stapje extra te zetten. De ligging van het resort is ideaal. Wij zouden dit resort zonder twijfel aanbevelen en komen graag nog eens terug. Bedankt aan het hele team !

We stayed at the garden pool villa. It was amazing. We had privacy in our private pool. Service was excellent. Very rich hotel facilities - 2 large pools, kids playroom. It has direct access to the lovely beach. Excellent value for money.

I enjoyed walking by the pools and having breakfast overlooking the beach every morning . I also appreciated that the beach lounges were cleaned every morning .

We stayed in villa 721 and there was an issue with the water temperature at the vanity sinks . It was extremely hot and as a result nearly burned my daughter’s hand . The water pressure for the shower was weak and barely warm , it made our showers for 6 days uncomfortable .

We had a really great time! The staff was incredibly helpful and caring. We had absolutely everything we needed right at the hotel, so we didn't even leave the property. T here was so much to do between the different restaurants, the pools, and the beach. We will definitely be coming back here again!

The service was excellent. Our room was lovely and overlooking the pool area. Our original room had a problem with the air conditioning and they moved us immediately to a new room. There was an adult pool area which was great. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds were beautiful and great location to fisherman’s village.

Breakfast could have been better, evening meal was fantastic, one of the best venues for lunch / evening meals we found.

The hotel was superbly presented & laid out. It was very welcoming, particularly from Thiri & the reception staff who were so kind and made it comfortable straight away. The beds were so comfortable and clean. The pool was so nice & had a big space. Everyone at the breakfast staff working was superb and hard working. The kids' club was amazing too, the staff were so kind and engaging with all the children. Fon,Yaya and the other girl played with my daughter, and gave me some rest. Definitely I hope I can return to Bandara to stay in the future

I can't think of too much. Maybe a bit of extra space in the gym or some equipment for outdoor training would be cool. One cool thing it might be there but massage chairs would be cool to have somewhere in the hotel

Bandara feels like home away from home. The staff are amazing (special shout out to Steffen, Wannapa, and Niko), the beds are soooo comfortable, the rooms are well designed and with nice finishing touches, for example, they provide beach bags and towels for your stay. The rooms are very clean, with fresh towels and mopped floors each day. The restaurant food is delicious (although, hotel pricing) and happy hour is a must. The location is excellent - close to fisherman's village without being too busy, and close to many restaurants/cafes, massage places, a pharmacy, and mini mart.

This is in a prime location near the Fisherman's Market, with stunning pools and a beachfront access. Breakfast was amazing, beach view at the restaruant and great food options. A great range of complimentary activities in the resort and superb concierge service! All the staff were friendly, welcoming and proactive. Kitti and Tawan were exceptionally amazing and ensured our stay was 10/10!

Meer und Sand nicht optimal, Wasser teilweise dreckig und drüber (wobei das hotel dafür nichts kann!) Weitläufige Anlage, lange Wege zum Frühstück oder Strand und zurück zum Zimmer.

The resort is excellent, in a great location with very good facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you need or in any way they can help. We first met Kitty who checked us in, I was so helpful with any requests we had. He remembered our names for the eight days we stayed and always went out of his way to ask if there was anything we required. Bophut is a great location. Plenty of shops and places to eat and the fisherman village markets are very good. Resort has a courtesy bus that goes into Chawang each day for money changing or shopping. The resort has three pools, one especially for very small children. We had a great stay and highly recommend.

They allow guests to smoke at tables near the beach pool bar which is also very close to the pool and to some of the deck chairs and lounges around the pool. Not very acceptable if using the lounges or deck chairs in close proximity. There were also a lot of children swimming with their parents at that end of the pool which is probably not appropriate for smoking in close proximity. There is a large grass area away from the pool and deck bar that would be far more appropriate as a designated smoking area. Better still would be a smoke free resort policy.

The resort was amazing and we have stayed at several places in Koh Samui and, for the first time, we will book here again. Everything was beautifully maintained and clean. The included breakfast was the best we have experienced, everything fresh and tasty. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We arrived home yesterday and are already planning our return.

Title: An honest analysis for Villa guests: Great location, but service needs improvement We recently stayed for 4 nights in one of the villas during the off-season. To be completely honest, there were plenty of other hotels in the exact same area offering similar features for half or even a third of the price. However, we intentionally chose to pay a premium because we wanted a luxury experience and high-end service. Unfortunately, despite paying for a premium stay, we were left deeply disappointed. While the room quality was good and the food (especially the pizza and burgers) was delicious, the resort's service and management fell far short of 5-star standards. Here is an objective breakdown of our experience: Pros: Location: The resort is in a very convenient location in Bophut, within easy walking distance to nearby attractions and local spots. Target Audience: This resort seems ideally suited for families with young children and older demographics looking for a quiet, family-oriented atmosphere. Cons & Areas for Improvement: Not Ideal for Young Couples: For young couples, newlyweds, or travelers in their 30s and 40s seeking a dynamic, premium hospitality experience, this might not be the best fit. We truly hoped this resort would be a place that made us feel the real value of our money, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Service & Staff Attitude: At 10:50 AM, I went to the pool bar and was told to return in 10 minutes. When I came back at 11:30 AM, the female bartender showed a very unwelcoming, moody attitude just for taking a drink order. When guests pay premium rates for luxury, they should feel welcomed, not like a burden to the staff. Communication & Minibar: The staff's English proficiency is highly insufficient for an international resort. Our simple request to have only lemon soda and extra water (no Coca-Cola or Sprite) in the minibar was completely ignored, and they just left whatever they pleased.

We absolutely loved it here! We were picked up at the airport but we arrived early and had to wait to check in however we were able to use the facilities. The reception/concierge staff was fantastic. Every question and needs we're met. They also had a beautiful selection of breakfast buffet that changes daily. The location was great, was very close to the Fisherman village night market. Easy to walk to places. They also have a free shuttle to chaweng at 2pm and pick up at 5pm which was super handy!

The room service qr code didn't work, was also difficult to communicate with some staff over the phone.

חדרי האוכל (הכללי ושל הווילות) אינם ממוזגים ופתוחים ליונים שחוגגות על האוכל בכל רגע שקמים לקחת משהו. אם היה גם ממוזג בחלק, היה ניתן לאכול יותר בנחת.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel! It is lovely, quiet, and never felt crowded. The pools are fantastic, and the room was very spacious.

Hauptpool war recht klein und die Liegen schon reserviert bevor man zum Frühstücken ging. Kenne ich so aus Thailand nicht. Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Schönes Hotel, aber Preis-Leistung steht in keinerlei im Verhältnis. Für so viel Geld gibt es schönere Unterkünfte.

Mooie accomodatie met ruime villa met plunge pool. Resort netjes onderhouden en erg vriendelijk personeel. Ligging net buiten de drukte van Fishermansvillage.

C’était notre seconde fois au sein du resort et première fois avec notre fille. Le cadre est bien adapté pour les enfants. Nous logeons dans une villa avec jardin et piscine, mais aimions toutefois nous baigner dans la grande piscine principale de temps à autre, et dans la petite piscine des enfants. Il manque juste un « mini parc aquatique » avec petits toboggans et jeux d’eau pour les enfants et ce serait parfait. La nouveauté du petit-déjeuner à la carte dédié pour les villas est une excellente surprise, avec des plats bien plus travaillés que le buffet classique. La villa était très confortable, rien à dire hormis que certains éléments en bois commençaient à marquer le coup et mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement (on sent le poids des années). Le personnel a été, comme toujours, d'une immense gentillesse avec notre fille. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal pour profiter de la plage et se balader. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

The pool area was lovely. The room size was spacious with a large balcony area

Lack of signage in the room or around the property about availability of daily shuttle bus service to Chaweng. Minimal advertising of ‘happy hour’ times. More information should be provided at check in. The boardwalk did not extend to this resort so needed to walk down the main street, then a laneways to connect to the boardwalk to access more restaurants & bars.
