Er waren nagenoeg geen faciliteiten die de 5 sterren waarmaken. Alleen eten te bestellen van de summiere kaart van het restaurant en tijdens de tijden dat het restaurant open is. De beloofde glazen “ complementary wine” hebben we nergens kunnen vinden.

Tante attenzioni, dal vino offerto all’arrivo al cioccolatino sul letto ogni giorno :) abbiamo cenato in albergo per due sere, ci siamo trovati molto bene :) Splendidi i cortili, peccato che abbiamo soggiornato fuori stagione per l’utilizzo della piscina!

Llevar las valijas desde el parking es un poco molesto por el piso irregular. De todas maneras nos terminaron asistiendo con el mismo (ya habíamos recorrido la peor parte)

È piena di posti dove potersi rilassare: piscina, vari cortili con patii, sale interne, etc. Possibilità di visitare l’azienda vinicola e fare degustazioni. Nel prezzo della stanza è compresa la degustazione di 3 vini. Molto buono anche il ristorante.
La nostra camera era comunicante con un’altra tramite porta. Sentivamo perfettamente tutti i rumori dei vicini.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026La atención del personal muy poco hospitalaria. Sentimos que éramos solo un número. No nos ofrecieron llevar el equipaje. No nos acompañaron a la habitación, trato muy frío y distante. En el shop no nos atendieron porque habían pasado 10 minutos de las 18 hs. Creo que por el costo todo muy reducido. Hemos estado en otras bodegas mucho más prestigiosas que superan indignamente las prestaciones y cuestan lo mismo o menos ojalá puedan mejorar porque las instalaciones comunes son muy bellas así como el mobiliario y la decoración , que si nos gustó mucho.

Reviewed May 26, 2026We really enjoyed staying in this colonial style hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great. If you don’t mind walking (like us), the hotel in within 30 mins stroll to the square. It’s located right next to El Esteco winery and within few minutes walk to one of the oldest vineyards in the area, Bodega Vasija Secreta. The room was super spacious and clean, albeit a bit dark but we didn’t mind that as we were out most of the day. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Breakfast had everything you would expect and sitting in the sun outside, overlooking the pool and lawn, sipping coffee, was a great start for the day. We only had a charcuterie platter for 2 with a bottle of red wine the first night we arrived and it was just right for what we wanted. You’ll need a car to visit other vineyards further afield or a taxi

Reviewed May 23, 2026Good breakfast Cosy common grounds incl. a fireplace and a house cat beautiful garden and patio The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but their command of English was quite limited. We asked where we could exchange money on a Sunday and specifically checked whether the place would be open. We were assured that it would be, but after going all the way into town, we found it closed.
The restaurant was acceptable, and the service itself was good, but overall it felt overpriced for the quality offered. At these prices, you expect everything to be close to perfect. The main reason for my low rating, however, is their very “creative” payment policy. Prices are listed in US dollars, but the hotel converts them into Argentine pesos using their own exchange calculations, while at the same time accepting payment in euros. Because of the constantly fluctuating peso-dollar exchange rate, it becomes almost impossible to know the real final cost. For our 3-night stay, we ended up paying 38 euros more than expected. I noticed the discrepancy already before the trip when I saw the credit card charge and contacted the hotel. Their standard response was that it was “due to a higher peso-to-dollar exchange rate that day.” However, after checking the rates myself, the explanation did not match the actual difference charged. The problem is that the system lacks transparency, and as a guest, you can never really verify whether the amount charged is correct. Communication problem, Due to their limited English knowledge, it is hard to explain something.

Mi habitación estaba cerca de la recepción y se escuchaba bastante ruido en la madrugada. La carta del restaurante es muy premium pero le falta cosas mas mundanas. No hay unas papas fritas para comer en la pileta x ejemplo.

Reviewed May 1, 2026Absolutely wonderful stay here. Staff were lovely and check in/out was seamless. Room was enormous and beautiful with fun touches and local artworks. Bathroom was very large with two sinks and counters in one area and a second area with bath, shower and toilet allowing privacy from the rest of the room. Shower was very hot with excellent pressure. King size comfortable bed. Complementary Torrentes wine by the pool in the early evening was lovely and dinner at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Breakfast spread was extensive. Would love to stay again.
Service at dinner was quite slow. Bought the wine from dinner to bring home the following morning and as the cellar door was closed at the time of check out, had to pay the restaurant price. Would be good to be able to access cellar door pricing for take home bottles as guests of the hotel.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026El hotel tiene un lobby hermoso, con muebles estilo colonial, tapices regionales y adornos de plateria/alpaca, alfombras y un hogar. 100% acogedor. Las habitaciones son muy amplias con el mismo estilo de decoración. Las del primer piso dan a la pileta con un balcon y vista hermosa. El parque esta super cuidado. Se puede desayunar adentro o en las mesas de afuera. Idem almuerzo. Cena supongo q tambien si el clima está calido. Hay un horario en el que invitan copa de vino. Se ouede reservar a parte visita a la bodega. Los sabados hay un mini show en el lobby, un guitarrista/cantante de folklore, muy bueno. El personal muy amable.
La musica en el lobby y lugar para desayunar. Era una especie de jazz, me hubiera gustado algo local sckrde al lugar y la onda de la decoración, tipo Luis Salinas, Lito Vitale, Vitale-Baraj-Gonzalez, etc. Sobra buena música argentina para elegir.

After insisting we got a wonderful room with perfect views into the green park, very spacious, super clean, great bathroom and quiet. Staff was very flexible. A top destination to visit vineyards and very close to the lovely town. Absolutely recommended.

Very big rooms with a decoration that is quite Classic but stylish, Very good breakfast and restaurant near the pool. We had an amazing risotto and very nice Argentinizn meat ! I really recommend!

La piscine froide. Une petite contrariété : 2 erreurs sur la facture du déjeuner (1 plat non commandé et 1 bouteille au lieu d’un verre de vin) et du dîner (1 plat non commandé encore !!!). Bien vérifier les notes !

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026Wow! What a place to experience. Beautiful hotel with stunning grounds, right next door to the vineyard. Evening meal was delicious, matched with gorgeous wine and the breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026Dit hotel was een droom! Het mooiste koloniale hotel wat ik ooit heb gezien, personeel was super lief en beleefd, het eten was top. Maar de allergrootste plus was hun eigen bodega, de grootste van Cafayate met echte high quality wijnen!
