I booked this as a solo trip for my birthday. I sought out this hotel and was very excited for my stay. However, my experience wasn't the best. Upon arrival to the room, there was a cockroach above the bathroom door. This was dealt with swiftly by the cleaning team. However, over the course of the next few hours I had more run ins with cockroaches. They were outside my door, I heard them scurrying under the dresser and bed, in the bath and even dropping from the vent. The team informed me they were harmless and sprayed my room twice with bug spray, but they were still present. I spoke to the front desk and asked if I could be moved to a different room and was told this was not possible as there were no more rooms available and I was to come back in the morning to check again. So I booked another hotel as there was no way I was sleeping with the roaches and asked the front desk to book me a taxi to my new hotel. I was then shown by the man at the front desk and the manager, a total of 3 different rooms that were available and prompted to cancel my (non-refundable) new hotel room. I spoke with others staying at the hotel and was told that they have also experience some type of bug in their rooms. The food options were not very varied or labelled correctly. The hotel itself is in need of updating and maintenance. I asked for Hotels.com to reach out for a refund and this was declined by the hotel. Overall, one of the worst holiday experiences I've had.

L'hotel est calme et propre. De plus, le personnel est très aidant, agréable, serviable et à l'ecoute. Un merci particulier à Mohamed à la réception, Momo et Amine à l'animation et toute l'equipe de la restauration pour le très bon service. La nourriture est très bonne et variée. Je recommande Marhaba Beach très fortement.

Nice hotel but some rooms need repairs. Gym is very old and some equipment is unsafe. Nice variety of food. Drinks are low quality.

Lots of potential. Impressive entrance, but tired corridors. Good breakfast. Let down by general condition. We requested two rooms together but they claimed that the hotel was full and so they couldn't accommodate this. Then there was a power cut in the middle of the night to one room and corridor, leading to complete and total darkness. This couldn't be resolved and so they (eventually, after our three times going down to speak to the staff) agreed to move us to another room, which happened to be nearer to the other room (and so the hotel was obviously not full as they had claimed). Then in the morning there was another power cut, this time affecting both rooms. There was no air conditioning or the air conditioning was not working in either room. Had to keep the balcony door open due to the excessive heat in the room, which led to insects coming in.

Hotel was great, staff are brilliant and attentive. Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy at night due to the entertainment but other than that the hotel was great.

Chambre sans climatisation ,ni douchettes au toilette ,j'ai passe' 2 nuits sans dormir à cause des moustiques ,bouffe repetetive a la limite de l'acceptable , c'est malheureux pour un si joli hôtel.

Très beau séjour. Le personnel est très chaleureux. Excellent service de Mounira à la réception. Nous avons bénéficié d’un upgrade. Moins de choix au buffet du petit déjeuner qu’à l’habitude. Nous retournerons bientôt au Marhara Beach.

Great access to beach Pool area very good

Horrible rooms, service and guest services. Do not recommend at all

The only thing wrong (very minor) with our Superior Sea View room was it was too low down to maximize the view (we were on Floor 1) otherwise excellent. The buffet, and drinks, were fresh, plentiful with a good range of choice - all in all excellent value.

Cockroach in the bathroom , not a great variety of food for breakfast, rooms pretty basic

Overall it was a very nice place, clean and in a fun area of town.

I hodestly felt at home with staff behaving as professional and caring about customers. To and my wife that was unique.

The property and the staff were pretty good but the security guard at the front gate harassed and made fun of my fiancée when she went to pick me up with her sister. I demanded an apology and got none.

Large and rather generic hotel - it feels more like a typical business hotel. That said, the pool and beach areas are nice, the room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Bathroom could use a bit of renovation, but cleanliness was very good in general. Noise insulation could be better. Drinks were decent but nothing spectacular, food was varied and surprisingly good! Overall, very good value for money, definitely recommended.

Loved staying here staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and well maintained. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Ich würde das Marhaba Beach immer wieder buchen, es hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Der Service war 1a! So einen guten Service hatte ich noch nie einem Hotel gehabt! Der Strand war atemberaubend, das Zimmer sauber und modern und mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Alle hatten Masken, also das Personal, leider die Gäste nicht. die Animation war auch gut, auf alle Gäste wurde eingegangen. Der einzige Mangel wäre vielleicht die andauernde russische Musik, die irgendwann einem auf den Geist geht. Das Essen war gut. Nichts besonderes, weil es leider nicht so abwechslungsreich war, ich glaube, wenn man 2 Wochen dann vor Ort ist, wird es dann irgendwann langweilig, trotzdem war es frisch und es gab immer eine große Auswahl. Am Strand konnte man frühstücken und auch Mittag essen, das hat alles getoppt. Das Personal ist wirklich klasse ich bedanke mich

Excellent sejour

Our third stay at Marhaba Beach this year and we will be back in February. This speaks for itself!

Rien qu’en 2019 , je suis allée 4 fois à marhaba beach. Bien dans l’ensemble mais les 4 fois j’ai eut les mêmes repas donc un peu trop répétitif et le gros point négatif c’est que les clients devraient être répertorié dans l’ordinateur, car les 4 fois on me réclame mon contrat de mariage et c’est un papier que je traîne pas partout avec moi et le pire c’est que j’ai fait mon voyage de noce à marhaba beach et que j’ai dans mon tel toute les photos de ce voyage plus celles de mon mariage mais malgré ça il demande ce contrat à chaque fois. Alors svp faites un fichier client . À part ça , agréable séjour.

Bon hôtel mais qui nécessite néanmoins un rafraîchissement. Amateurs de café : s'abstenir. En effet, la fontaine de café au petit déjeuner ressemble surtout à de l'eau. Et les bouilloires de lait ne sont pas très appétissantes. C'est bien dommage. En revanche le buffet est toujours bien fourni avec du choix. Et climatisation désactivée alors qu'il faisait 28degres. Bon séjour malgré tout.

Personnel très à l'écoute. Piscine très agréable avec remous et bar au milieu. Bar de plage avec goûter, déjeuner fort sympathique.

After making reservation, we had one and only All Inclusive option. During check-in, they gave us All Inclusive Soft (without alcohol)!

Je suis choquer de payer un hôtel 4 étoiles et de me faire piquer par des punaises de lit vidéo à l’appuie,dégoûter de devoir crier faire un cinéma et aller chercher le directeur de l’hôtel parceque un mec de la sécurité ne veux pas me faire rentrer avec le taxi alors que je suis handicapé et que j’ai la carte niveau service en restauration répéter plusieurs fois que je veux une bouteille d’eau pour boire alors que les allemands et les anglais juste un regard et il viennent courir à leurs secours cette hôtel fait clairement la différence et je n’u Reviendrai plus ça c’est sur

J ai adoré cet hôtel service personnels le buffet très très bien. En se qui concerne le spa que j ai essayé les esthéticienne sont très bien et à l écoute de la personne... Mais cela demande un peut de rafraîchissements moderne... Et une promo par jour dans le style mains et pieds pour les soins ou un massage pour occupé le personnels à prix compétitif bon cet un avis.... Avec un papier sur les table style soins du jour demain....

Only thing not good was had 3 nyts stay and was giving a room far away in hotel and view was not good.looking out to big rubbish bin. And internet connection didn't get it

The hotel is quite dated but pleasing. We had a room overlooking the beach with nice balcony. We had minibar and requested an electric kettle from the reception. The price included breakfast, nice but coffee very bad.

Very nice hotel next to the beach. Lots of things to do there, walking distance to the city (40ish minutes) along the beach. Very helpful front desk staff!

Good standard tourist hotel. Clean comfortable and good food. Rather crowded as many tour companies use this hotel with constant animation activities.

Booked because it was cheap and now I know why. I stayed 1 night and was planning to stay a further 10 nights. I cancelled my reservation after the first night. The room is very basic. A bed (two singles pushed together) a desk and not much else. No safe in the room. You have to rent one in reception My room was on the first floor and was incredibly noisy. They gave me a wrist band to wear at reception like I was in a club. It had that kind of feel to it. So if your looking for a cheap noisey hotel. Probably great for people who want to cut loose. 3 meals a day and room for £25 but not for me.

Beautiful hotel with a warm and welcoming staff! Very friendly, multi-lingual. Pool and beach areas were well staffed and clean. All-inclusive was amazing!

Amazing hotel, with fantastic staff that attend to any issues addressing them instantly and not to follow up. The location is good. Hotels.com can be decieiving in regards to a Night club at the hotel, there was no and the hotel manager also confirmed this. Food, service all were good.

We enjoyed our short trip and we were sad not to stay longer

Very pleased overall, a few things need improving (lighting in bedrooms & the walk in to the hotel from the front gate). Staff were friendly, animation team were entertaining especially Yassine. The food was OK this time I found there was not enough of meat dishes to enjoy. I have stayed here many times and always enjoy the fact that it is so close to the beach and within walking distance to Sousse where all the shops are and the "Medina" is a real experiance.

Really enjoyed our stay here. This is a good solid hotel choice. We have stayed in many similar hotels in Tunisia. What made this hotel better than most was the bedding and mattress. A higher quality than most and a mattress that was comfortable. We were very happy with the food. There is plenty of choice, the Tunisian dishes were very good. The desserts could be improved, but there was always ice cream. Bar service was excellent, very attentive. The house keeping staff were very friendly and professional. With your stay you will probably get one meal at the a la carte restaurant. what a great experience. The chef explains the choices and the staff is very good. The food was excellent. The Brik was the best I have had. Brik-totally unhealthy delish deep fried crispy thing with a whole egg in it, or other things like tuna and potato.

Special think's for the director M. Khaled for her hospitality and disponibility . Very professional person . When you have any problem it's dispo for any reclamations . Good job

The place was quitw disappointing. The indoor pool was the only nice about the hotel and it was only nice because it was actually operated by the neighboring hotel, Marhaba Hotel. The gym at the other hotel was also fantastic, but as a guest of Marhaba beach you had to pay to use it. The fitness center at Marhaba beach just smelled like mold. The sea view rooms had awesome views but that was reallybthe only great thing about this hotel. Food and service were both mediocre. Would definitely pay more to stay next door at Marhaba Hotel.

Enjoyed my stay, food was good, staff were very friendly apart from a few of the older male staff, found them to be very dismissive of women and not very nice.

This is the first time we have stayed st the Beach and found it to be excellent from a room, and Staff point of view. The Staff were the best I have ever encountered in any Hotel nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was spacious and well appointed and the bed was large and very comfortable. It was kept spotlessly clean. My only criticism was that although there was a good choice of food it was invariably cold or at best luke warm. We booked through Expedia and I asked them to change our arrival date bringing it forward by one day and despite having an e-mail from them saying it had been done when we arrived at midnight with my disabled wife and daughter with a six month old baby , it took us two hours to sort out rooms for the night and I had to pay extra for the privilege so thanks Expedia!!

A lovely clean hotel. The members of staff could not do enough to ensure you had a good holiday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Animation were great. Thanks Yassine, Momo and Bibo.

Took a week here to enjoy a belated honeymoon with my Tunisian husband. it was obviously the off season and the food was so depressing. Nothing really authenticly Tunisian, and when I asked the restaurant manager he said we are cooking the comfort foods our European guests are used to,not Tunisian food. I said, I am from America,if I want American food I could stay home. When I travel the world I want to experience the culture and food. Also the hallway stunk and there was building construction going on right outside our balcony, noisy. I am not sure why I would never stay there again,the only good thing was the Moorish cafe Hookah lounge with candle light

Overall great experience. See my ratings below. Food Quality: 5/5 -I loved the food. There was more good food than I was able to try! Selection of Food: 5/5 -I always found plenty of variety. Restaurant: 4/5 -Overall good but it seemed a little old. Friendliness/courteousness of staff: 3/5 -This was the hotel's only weak point. Some of the staff were great, but the majority you could tell didn't like their jobs. Comfort of room: 5/5 Bed: 5/5 Bathroom: 4/5 -My only complaint is the shower was a little old, and splashed water outside the shower area. Layout of buildings: 3/5 -There were a few buildings that didn't seem to be in use, so I couldn't really figure out the layout of the property. Condition of buildings: 4/5 Location: 5/5 -We walked to most places because it's close to downtown. Price (compared to overall quality): 5/5 Pool: 4/5 -We were there in the winter, so used the inside pool. It was nice in general. There were some swim team practices going on in the afternoon, so we could only use a small portion of the pool when that was going on. There were no advisories about the practice times though.

Poor hotel service and rude staff as I booked on Expedia and paired all the fee with e mail confirm payment and reservation and when arrive there they said that there is no reservation and they don't deal with Expedia when I contacted expedian customers service where they was very polite and helpful they sort it out so I staied that night and in the morning reception staff ask me to pay all the fee or they will not give me my passport so I paied 110 Tunisian dinar to take my passport Terrible hotel and con staffaymen
