Hotel Klokkenhof

Sauberes, aber sehr kleines Zimmer, insbesondere das Badezimmer war extrem klein. Wir waren vor einigen Jahren hier (aber im Hauptgebäude), kann mich nicht erinnern, dass das Zimmer so klein war. Beide Male besuchten wir Verwandte in der Nähe. Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Kostenlose Parkplätze (großer Parkplatz).Gute Restaurant.

No AC or fans in the rooms, and it was hotter inside than outside during our stay. A staff member kindly gave me a portable unit, but the owner said I was “lucky” to get it. This should be clear in the listing—35°C (95°F) with no fan is unacceptable.

The Hotel Klokkenhof is a family-oriented, quiet, and well-designed property located about 20 minutes from the Netherlands border. The staff and the hotel owner were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was authentically charming. The backyard is a lovely space where you can spend quality time with your children. The only drawback was the presence of a number of horseflies on the property. However, aside from that, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Kamer op zich was goed ,ook een goed bed om te slapen. Wel wat verouderd , Hotel mocht nog wel iets properder,lag overal toch wel wat stof , spinnenwebben in de verlichting en op de klokken, Ramen konden ook wel een beurt gebruiken ( zeker van de kamer ,want daar kijken de gasten wel op) Voor de rest was de kamer wel proper . Restaurant gedeelde was ook proper en mooi. Ontbijt was simpel,,maar toch wel wat keuze . Voor 1 nachtje was het voor ons best oke

Very friendly staff

De kamers zijn zeer luidruchtig. De kachel stond aan, en deze kon niet uit volgens personeel.. waardoor we een hele nacht met het raam open geslapen hebben. Letterlijk stoken voor buiten! Het ontbijt daarentegen was goed en uitgebreid!

We enjoyed our stay. The only problems we had were the same breakfast options each day & we were there 10 days. Also, we had trouble with the remote control on tv. It seem to have a short & was difficult in changing channels or adjusting sound. The only other problem was short staff the second time we had dinner in restaurant & we had invited friends to join us. The staff was very nice but took around 2 hours to be served. But the hotel & restaurant were lovely & we would probably stay again, hopefully with these issues being resolved.

Kleine kamer, zeer matig ontbijt, vreemde routing buffet en ontbijtruimte, Receptie bij ontbijt buffet, kortom: Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Langs een drukke weg en gehorig met schreeuwende mensen op de gang. Bij de ingang/ uitgang van de auto liggen grote betonnen bollen, waar het paaltje erachter(!!) staat, deze(bal) kan je niet zien vanuit de bestuurders kant als je rechter afslaat. Onze auto is hier helaas opgeklapt en onze sideskirt kapot hierdoor. Ontvangst prettig en vriendelijk. We misten alleen de waterkoker op de kamer zoals vermeld. Koffiezetten kan, maar de thee zakjes kan je niet gebruiken. Prettig dat er bedden bij gezet konden worden voor onze kinderen.

Gutes Hotel mit freien Parkplatz Angebot. Abendrestaurant ist Super und lohnt sich auf jedenfall dort zu speisen. Zimmer völlig ausreichend zum nächtigen. Frühstück passt auch soweit. Kleines Minus bei Wlan anbindung ( ist etwas unstabil ).

Zeer goede dienst ( ok om de check out ets later te doen) en zeer vrienelijke staff. Zeer goefe restaurant Kamer een beetje verouderd (kleine dingen in de badkamer een beetje schieve). Voor de toekomst misschien nadenken of het nog nodig is , op de menu van het restaurant, om vlees uit Australië en Nieuw Zeeland te laten komen. De cote a l'os was wel heel lekker, moeyen wij toegeven.

We mochten nog van de kleine kaart eten, terwijl ze de grote kaart aanboden. Aardige ontvangst.

Goed ontbijt, aardige gastvrouw kleine maar schone kamer, gelijk hulp bij kleine problemen op de kamer maar erg lawaaierig door geluiden keuken en geluiden andere kamers

My sister and I stayed back in 2017 and really enjoyed our stay. Generally this time we enjoyed our stay. The manager in the afternoon and evening was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The Lady who was in charge in the morning with curly hair was not so nice or helpful. We were disappointed that the hotel shut after breakfast, so you were unable to purchase a drink or speak to any management. Surely a hotel should be open 24/7 for guests! The rooms were looking a bit tired and in dire need of air conditioning.

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken, De kamer was iets aan de kleine kant.

Vernieuwde kamers, erg netjes. Wel werd ik gewekt door het langdurig verschuiven van meubels of dergelijke. Ontbijt was tot 10 uur, maar reeds om 9.45 weggeruimd.

Charmerende lille sted med skøn vinter-terasse, charmerende værelser i gammel flamsk stil og en glimrende morgenbuffet. Forvent ikke luksus - forvent en unik charme og romantik. Aftenrestauranten bød på udsøgt kvalitet kød, veltilberedte råvarer og en fantastisk hyggelig restaurant. Vi var på Klokkenhof i 2018, nu i 2024, og vi kommer helt sikkert igen engang.

Verzorgd hotel, mooi terras en heel aardige bediening…

On nous a octroyé une chambre au rez-de-chaussé qui malgré 4 fenêtres ressemblait plutôt à une cave avec ses rideaux gris. De la vigne obstruait 2 des fenêtres et obligation de mettre le rideau occultant devant la porte d'entrée sinon le regard des passants plongeait dans la chambre. L'extérieur est bruyant, route passante, passage d'avion (y aurait-il un aérodrome pas loin? En une heure, nous en avons vu passé 3. Dommage car le personnel est accueillant, l'atmosphère est chaleureuse, l'espace à l'arrière est agréable et le petit déjeuner très bien.

Es war soweit alles gut, nur der Fernseher hatte nur 4-5 belgische Programme. Der Rest war verschlüsselt. Es ließ sich auch nicht abändern.

De kamer op gelijkvloers. Zeer veel lawaai uit het restaurant. Heb de deur in de gang 5 keer dicht gedaan. Verschrikkelijk.

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen, ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden, Bushaltestelle fußläufig gut erreichbar für günstige Fahrt nach Antwerpen. Unser Zimmer und Bad waren sehr klein, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich, mit Lachs und frischem Obst.

Das Hotel-Restaurant ist sehr ansprechend und modern eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer befand sich im EG und es war aufgrund der unmittelbaren Nähe zum Restaurant abends sehr laut. Im Bad roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war spärlich und lieblos angerichtet. Es gab nur normalen Tee und Filterkaffe zu Trinken.

Sehr saubere und ganz nah von Stadt Antwerpen Hotel. Ich kann auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall nochmal gerne kommen.

Beetje gedateerd maar wel schoon . Bedden waren okay . Ontbijt was uitgebreid en zeer goed. Mooie omgeving en over her algemeen een goede prijs kwaliteit. Jammer dat de kamer erg gehorig was. Dat was het enige minpunt.

Mooi hotel met klassieke touch, héél veel klokken 😁 prachtige staatsieportretten van ... honden. Groot parkeerterrein. Prachtige kamer, groot bad. Raam open geeft lawaai van de Bredabaan maar zodra de ramen dicht, absoluut stil!

Bedding fine, rumour from surrounding disturbing. Breakfast excellent, as was diner. Nice bathroom.

Etwas ausserhalb von Antwerpen gelegenes Hotel. Für meine berufliche Reise benötige ich ein Hotel von dem aus ich schnell in den Hafen kann: Das war gegeben. Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem sehr schönem Resaturant. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung für Antwerpen wenn man nicht im Zentrum sein muss.

Prima verblijf , kamers zijn niet heel groot maar wel schoon en gezellig aangekleed, ontbijt is prima, heel vriendelijk personeel, dineren is aan te bevelen erg goed verder veel ruimte voor de auto, en lekker rustige omgeving. Het hotel leent zich ook goed voor een fiets weekend. Antwerpen is op zeer dichte afstand en gemakkelijk te bereiken. Kortom een prima locatie.

Prima hotel met zeer vriendelijke eigenaren/personeel. Diverse kamers, netjes onderhouden. Restaurant is goed, ook kindvriendelijk. Ontbijt is ook goed. Omgeving is echt leuk en divers.

the hostess is a wonderful lady, we arrived late at night after the dead line for checking in and she waited for us patiently with a smile and welcoming drinks, as if we are family members that we haven't met in a long time. and the breakfast is a very generous breakfast and all is fresh.

Hôtel agréable dans un quartier calme. Par contre des travaux sur la route nous ont obligés à un détour de plusieurs kilomètres.

Verblijf voor 2 nachten met ontbijt geboekt, 2 keer moeten bewijzen dat het ontbijt wel echt in orde was.

Nous avons profité de l’hôtel en famille avec deux enfants. La chambre était grande et confortable - étonnamment calme malgré le restaurant. L’établissement a eu quelques soucis techniques largement rattrapés par la gentillesse du personnel. Nous avons au final eu une très bonne expérience à Klokkenhof. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. A noter : Quelques bornes de recharge sont accessibles à 500m de l’établissement.

Ik kwam rond half drie aan en wist dat de incheck tijd drie uur nm was. Geen probleem kon vlot inchecken en naar de kamer. Heerlijk gedineerd en met korting bon van klokkenhof naar de sauna ( vijf minuten Lopen) goed geregeld toch. Fijne kamer goed geslapen en heerlijk buffet ontbijt. Prima voor mekander en echt aan te bevelen.

Excellent hotel on the N1 road north of Brasschaat. Clean and modern room. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Friendly staff. Free on site parking. Good on site restaurant. Highly recommended.

Older building, but well kept by a couple / owners who went out of their way to make things great for us. The restaurant was very good, with childrens' meals that were fantastic and fun. The rooms were very comfortable. The only negative comment is that the floors creaked because they were old wood, but we actually didn't mind, because it was real wooden floors. The place was great!

Stayed 3 times there now and always very good friendly service . Would recommend.

Minder/niet goed: mis een leeslampje bij bed. Kamer is veel te warm, vooral met de ramen dicht. Geen airco. Afzuigbuis van de keuken zat voor het raam, stoom en etensgeuren kwamen in de kamer. Veel te veel herrie en geluidsoverlast in de kamer van gasten op het terras. Te zacht en te slecht matras. Wel goed: schone kamer/linnen goed. Vriendelijke personeel. Parkeer plaats voor de deur. Uitgebreid ontbijt.

Mooie lokatie en inrichting van het restaurant. De kamer vonden wij wat donker. De afzuiging van het restaurant is duidelijk hoorbaar, maar gaat om 21.00 uur uit.

Lovely hotel, very spacious rooms and located in a nice aera.we drove to antwerp from the hotel about 15km away. Only thing i didn't like was the price of the buffet breakfast very expensive €15 per person

Ontbijt was buiten op het terras voorzien maar het was helemaal niet aangenaam met deze lage temperaturen.

Didn't like no separate area for guests to sit. Where tables were not set.

I've stayed here a few times and its well worth the price. The rooms are efficient and nice. Same for the bathrooms.

The hotel is fairly small, but had a large restaurant / garden area (not in use in the wionter!). Generally,I was very happy, but there are a couple of minor things that were annoying. First, whilst the room was pretty clean, there was noticeable dust in the less obvious areas (back of tv, top of wardrobw, top of shower cubicle, top of bathroom light. Next. the room is heated by a large, traditional water radiator, but for some reason, when I first arrived, and when returning every day, the thermostat was turned off. Whilst this may save the hotel money, it means that the room is a bit cold, taking maybe an hour to warm up. The ligting was rather dim. Reception often not manned, and it sometimes takes a while for a member of staff to come through from the dining room. Finally - and there's not much that the hotel can do about this - the hotel is rather isolated, the only things withing easy walking distance are the adjacent Family Sauna, a couple of other businesses, another hotel, and a couple of bus stops. Busses are regular but infrequent (and pretty cheap), so a car is pretty much an essential. Otherwise, the place was clean and pleasant. Nice modern bathroom, coffee machine in the room, complimentary bottle of water daily. Great wifi.Comfortable bed. Pleasant helpful staff I was VERY impressed with the Restaurant: the food was excellent, the presentation of the food was good, service was good. Prices also not stupidly expensive.

Stayed on route from Calais to Amsterdam. Lovely hotel out in the Belgian countryside but close to road network. Arrived on a cold night but the hotel was beautifully decorated and a warm welcome was extended. Lovely comfortable room with good facilities. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant with thanks to the staff for providing a translation!

Good breakfast, european style, fresh squeezed orange juice! Great food at the restaurant but pricey. My European friends also stayed ai this hotel and got a much better nightly rate by contacting hotel directly than I did through Orbitz. Overall a good experience, owners on site through out the day and are quite friendly but not too intrusive.

Good instructions to find hotel would help. Without Sat Nav it was a problem, solved by very helpful local.

The rooms need better cleaning , i dont like to complain but the i found hairs in the bed and bathroom , my room was situated on the street side and due to the old windows you could hear every car pass by and that starts at 5.30 am so if you are not a solid sleeper like i am you are awake very early . The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful , the terras in the back is simply great .

Lovely location, very friendly and helpful staff. We got in very late and the manager/owner? waited up for us even though we had made arrangements to collect our key. Breakfast was good and we had lunch in the restaurant later that day and it was tasty. Lovely view of the castle from our bedroom balcony. Would love to come back and stay for longer.
