Meliá Castelo Branco

Voltámos este ano ao mesmo hotel porque tivemos uma experiência excelente no ano passado. Na altura, ficámos no primeiro andar e correu tudo lindamente, sem qualquer problema, por isso decidimos repetir a estadia. Infelizmente, este ano a experiência foi bastante diferente. Ficámos no terceiro andar e tivemos alguns problemas relacionados com o barulho. Na primeira noite, a partir das 6h da manhã, começou a ouvir-se um barulho muito forte, semelhante ao de um gerador. Não sabemos exatamente de onde vinha nem a que equipamento estava associado, mas o ruído era bastante intenso e acabou por perturbar o nosso descanso. Na segunda noite, tivemos outro problema: o casal do quarto ao lado começou, por volta das 6h da manhã, a fazer bastante barulho, com gritos e gemidos, como se estivesse num motel e não num hotel onde existem outros hóspedes a tentar descansar. Foi uma situação bastante desagradável, principalmente por ter acontecido tão cedo. É uma pena, porque no ano passado tivemos uma estadia impecável e ficámos precisamente com vontade de voltar. Desta vez, infelizmente, o descanso ficou bastante prejudicado pelos episódios de ruído. No geral, continuamos a gostar do hotel e da localização, mas esperamos que situações deste género sejam melhor controladas, principalmente durante a madrugada e nas primeiras horas da manhã.

What I didn’t like is hotel apparently accepts dogs and the barking woke us up in the morning :( Room had a bath but couldn’t use it as reception couldn’t get me a plug

Simpatia e eficácia funcionários. Do jantar dia 5 . Uma carne estufada - Vitela estufada . Top do melhor que tenho comido em toda a minha vida . Parabéns a cozinha e funcionários de sala da restauração. Iogurte natural do pequeno-almoço de hoje dia 6 também maravilhoso.

Alguma sonoridade a mais na sala de jantar ao jantar. Mas funcionários top . Chef de sala dia 5 espetacular

no parque de estacionamento , bateram na minha viatura , provocando um estrago razoavél na traseira da mesma . pedi por email para me enviarem elementos das vossas camaras , para chegar á pessoa que fez o estrago . ao falar com a recepção podiam ter mais atenção em ajudar .

Está a precisar de uma renovação. A sala do pequeno almoço na nossa manhã, estava cheia e muito barulhenta e com pouco espaço de circulação.

The views are fantastic! The deck off the outside pool is stunning and the staff very accommodating.

The single beds were a bit narrow for 2 tall women :-/

Muito muito bom - tinha tudo, mesmo tudo para um pequeno almoço de excelência. Também o jantar do dia de chegada foi extraordinário - para além do serviço a carta, o serviço de bufete era de excelência, vários pratos quentes de carne, peixe e marisco e a sopa e ainda muitas sobremesas, com garrafa de água incluída mas sem café, por um preço muito bom. Os colaboradores extremamente simpáticos e disponíveis.

Atendimento do serviço de bar. ao pedir uma bebida as 23.45, fui prontamente informado que o esplanada encerrava as 00.00 quando ainda não eram 00.00. Desta forma, senti-me condicionado a utilizar a esplanada quando ainda não estava encerrada. Entendo que o funcionário poderia ter informado de forma mais simpática sobre o encerramento da esplanada.

Everything in and around the hotel. Lovely and friendly staff, amazing room, scrumptious food for breakfast and dinner buffet.

Not staying longer!

Easy to find modern hotel just outside of the town, good welcome by the staff and the room was a twin as requested. and had a small balcony with views! Outside parking available. Nice places to sit with a drink and admire the views. The hotel had good pool facilities both inside and outside, with places to sit and relax if needed. We decided to stay in the hotel at night for an evening meal. The menu was quite extensive but limited as we do not eat meat with only a few fish options! There was a buffet available. The waitress serving us was very helpful but not anyone's fault that without realizing the cod dish was salted cod! Not my favourite!!! But the dining room was well set out with views! A welcome 1 night stay after a long journey,

Es la primera vez que no puedo pagar en efectivo por ejemplo dos cafés en el bar de la piscina o el room service, solo aceptan tarjeta. Este tema no me ha gustado

A localização do hotel é perfeita, está longe da confusão da cidade mas não é longe suficiente para dar um passeio a pé. Em termos de comodidades é um hotel completo e não falta nada. Tranquilidade absoluta nesta estadia. Pequeno almoço muito bom.

Para uma estadia curta o hotel serviu perfeitamente tendo um bom pequeno almoço, o quarto tinha uma ótima dimensão e uma vista fantástica sobre Castelo Branco. as opções de restaurantes perto é também muito boa.

Se puede aparcar enfrente del hotel, todo bien en la habitación. Piscina fantástica, personal amable.

Personalmente solo me gustaría que tuvieran más opciones sin gluten. Es algo que tienen que mejorar todos los hoteles en Portugal , no exclusivamente este. Aún así tengo que decir que este tenía más opciones comparando otras experiencias en otros .

Wonderful hotel had everything we could wish for. Plenty of parking, positioned on top of a hill which gave you a great view in the lounge/bar area. Great facilities, very friendly staff especially in the restaurant and lovely bright rooms. The included breakfast was wonderful with a great selection and do not go out to eat in the evening because they do a great all you can eat help yourself dinner at a very good price. Very easy to visit the area from the hotel. Did not want to leave it was so good.

Simpatia de toda a gente mas principalmente do Sr. Alberto. O pequeno almoço também era bom.

O bar da piscina só abrir as 16h. E o preço um bocado exagerado pelas bebidas e comida.

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit besserer Aussicht bekommen.. Frühstück war reichlich und lecker. Bequemes Bett.

Viel zu wenig Sonnenschirme und dass bei über 40 Grad. Badekappenpflicht im Innenpool, das Wasser hat bei Benutzung des Whirlpools geschäumt. Personal wenig freundlich.

The food for both the breakfast and evening meal was exceptional, loads to eat, variety, great for all and the view amazing. Also great for families as lots to offer with indoor and outdoor facilities

The TV in room for both TV and music was not working and unable to deal with that day.

Jacuzzi looked fairly unclean so did not use it, same for sauna/steam room areas. Main indoor pool was fine . Amenities didn’t open early morning so not suited for morning people .Majority of staff were not friendly bar lady working on the day I decided to leave early who was very friendly and helpful . Been met with a non friendly reception upon arriving was enough to make you feel uncomfortable. The bar staff were probably the best friendly wise but often left waiting for service when no one in attendance. Breakfast wasn’t great compared to other places in the area.

הסאונה צריכה להיות מחוממת כבר בשעות הבוקר. בשעה 09:30 הסאונה היבשה טרם הופעלה

Staff initially not very friendly but improved , could be more engaging, a bit scrappy some areas of the pool. Breakfast good but have had better in similar rate hotel. No complimentary water in room.

Modern, clean, everything you need in the room including a stream iron, nice inside and outside pools and spa.

Ridiculous procedure due the spa and pools. The hotel provides towels (they don't allow you to use a towel from your room). You must go to the main reception for the towel and leave 20 euro cash deposit per towel, then take the wet towel back later to get the deposit back. When I told the lady on reception that this is a strange policy she replied 'well 50 towels were stolen last year'. Not a nice way to treat guests, and not a practical arrangement.

The bed was good. View from the room was nice. Breakfast was quite okay. We took room service day if the dish and it was delicious

Very bad smell of water in spa, especially in jacuzzi. We chose this hotel only due to spa and didn’t use it as it felt dirty. Also what was strange: 40 euro deposit for towels. I okay to pay, but it is just strange Also the room had smoke smell:-(

Great location for a drive holiday. Restaurant was really good for breakfast and dinner. Friendly welcoming staff.

Modern hotel, nicely furnished, balcony with view, good breakfast, free parking. The location is on a hill, which is very convenient for visiting the castle and Cargaleiro Museum (a must see!), but the city center is accessible on foot by stairs or a steep road.

Unfortunately, the storm caused a power outage, which caused us a bit of stress as our phones were dead. We know it was a force majeure, but our experience was not very good. We would also like to mention that we had some problems with getting toast and drink at the hotel bar, as the gentleman serving there was not very helpful.

La tranquilidad. Al estar en lo alto las vistas son espectaculares. las instalaciones también están muy bien Luego también señalar el masaje que nos gustó mucho la limpieza de la gente que trabaja en ello son muy amables y todo muy limpio

Bueno con los panes es muy difícil no hay ningún pan que sea para gente que tenga problemas de Celíacos o un pan integral . Hombre también algún yogur 0% tampoco estaría mal para mí es una preferencia me parece algo importante. Las camas son muy cómodas . las almohadas, sin faltar el respeto: considero que están un poquito deterioradas tienen muchos bultitos😬
