The Boathouse Hotel

Boathouse breakfast was lovely, convenient, and even though I think breakfast start was a certain time, we were able to have coffee and enjoy the views of ocean and pool all at the same time. Location of hotel was wonderful for us being on the ocean and yet a transfer ride to main attraction of top view. Our group likes a low key area with less hustle and bustle but this might only be because it was end of season. Also, staff was extremely accommodating to order a transfer/taxi for our 5 person group.

Nothing we did not like. NOTHING however the short sentence box will not let me write all I want to say about this amazing stay!!!!

Beachfront property with lots of character, diectly under the flightpath which could be an issue for some but flights weren't very frequent and personally we quite enjoyed watching the planes Staff were friendly and helpful, good selection at breakfast. Exceptional value for money. Would highly recommend!

The absolutely best little family hotel on the north side of Kamari beach. Not a luxury hotel without personality, no this hotel is a traditional Greek hotel with a soul! Their breakfast buffet is to die for and contains everything you can imagine. Sonia in the pool bar is so good and professional The staff are so friendly and helpful and you really feel at home in this cosy place. Thank you Diane, Spiros, Sonia, Barbara and the rest of the staff- we love you!

The town is under the landing pattern for the airport so we saw and heard planes landing. But the town is very alive and walkable and so different then Oia. The hotel's front desk was wonderful. We had to catch a 4 am taxi for our flight and they arranged it and gave us fruit and muffins for breakfast to take with us. We received a free bottle of wine which we drank on our balcony. The pool is a wonderful oasis after the difficulties getting in and out of the water at the beach (shallow slippery for a long stretch). The bar at the pool made it easy to have a drink at the pool.

Loved everything! From the friendly, personal welcome to the beautiful breakfast by the pool, staying at the Boathouse did not disappoint. Diane and her team make sure all guests are looked after. It’s a great location right by the beach and has a lovely pool. It has a really friendly atmosphere, amongst both the staff and other guests. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location, outstanding owners, and staff, amazing breakfast, fantastic swimming pool, spotlessly clean. We have been regulars at The Boathouse for 16 years. Diane, Spyros,Evie, and the team make everyone so welcome. Nothing us too much trouble, their local knowledge means that you can always plenty to do, from lounging by sea or booking a sailing trip around the island. It's no wonder so many guests return year after year.

Tocmai m-am întors dintr-un sejur minunat de la The Boathouse Hotel! Întregul loc era impecabil și avea o atmosferă calmă și primitoare. Personalul a fost super prietenos și de ajutor pe tot parcursul călătoriei. Piscina a fost absolut perfectă, curată, de dimensiuni excelente și ideală pentru relaxare. Micul dejun a avut tot ce ne-a trebuit în fiecare dimineață, proaspăt și gustos. Recomand cu siguranță oricui caută o escapadă liniștită și prietenoasă!

Everything at the facility was perfect. The owner and the staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel was also very clean.

We loved our stay at the Boathouse. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the garden suite which was two co-joined rooms and a gorgeous shady courtyard to relax in. It’s was perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pool and breakfast is lovely. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Really friendly staff that could not do enough to make the stay amazing. The rooms are clean but the decoration is dated. The pool is nice and they give you towels to use. The hotel was noisy as other guests were drinking in the bar until 12/12:30 which was very loud and you could hear the room next door. The hotel is right on the front so easy walk to the beach and bars/ restaurants

Loved this hotel. Very clean and comfortable room with private terrace overlooking pool and beach. Pool area was lovely. Breakfast was really good. But the best thing about this hotel is the super friendly staff who do everything they can to help you. Tina and Sonya were amazing. Our flight was late evening and for a small fee we were allowed to stay in our room until departure time. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back

Персонал приветливый, администратор отеля очень профессиональный менеджер, при заселении даёт всю нужную информацию по пребыванию в отеле, и где вы можете вкусно пообедать или поужинать, отвечает на вопросы, предупреждает, что прямо напротив отеля скользкий заход в море и очень не рекомендуется там заходить купаться (пожалуйста, верьте ей, я проверила - пока вылазила на берег, вспоминала, что включает моя страховка, после этого я ходила купаться в другое место))). Сам номер очень уютный. На фото всё кажется немножко новее, чем есть на самом деле, но это вообще не критично, потому что всё очень ухоженное и номер оставляет очень приятное впечатление - всё супер чисто, уютно, в шкафу я насчитала 16 (!) вешалок для одежды (женщины точно оценят))). Нет телевизора - это просто супер! Завтрак хороший и достаточный, чтобы насытиться надолго: каждый день приблизительно 70-80% одних и тех же базовых продуктов, и около 20% что-то меняется, но что меня очень удивило - большой выбор сладкого, там и фрукты, и йогурт, и всякие печеньки и пироги. При выборе отеля видела, что кому-то мешают спать самолёты, но мне они не мешали, последний был около часа ночи (в это время ещё можно гулять или готовиться ко сну), а вот утром больше шансов проснуться от щебетания птиц перед восходом солнца, чем от самолёта. Но если что, в любом магазине Камари вы можете купить беруши, и никакие внешние факторы вам не помешают хорошенько выспаться.

Чего мне очень не хватило - это наличия кондиционера для волос. Как-то привыкла, что он есть практически во всех отелях, где я останавливаюсь, и я не была готова к его отсутствию. И ещё была мыльница для твердого мыла, а самого кусочка твердого мыла не было, что выглядело немного странно.

Very nice hotel close to the beach and resturants

We only stayed for one night, arriving in the evening and needing to catch our flight early in the morning (gates closed at 9:40). The staff were amazing – even though breakfast usually starts at 8:00, the receptionist kindly prepared a special breakfast set for us the night before and stored it in the fridge, so we could eat before our journey. The pool was beautiful, the room was very clean with a large balcony and an incredible view of the sunrise. If we come back to Santorini and Kamari, this hotel will definitely be our first choice.

Das Hotel liegt direkt in erster Strandlage. Gute Restaurants waren nach kurzen Fußwegen zu erreichen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das „Almira“- Restaurant gleich um die Ecke. Das Hotel hat wenige Zimmer und ist deshalb nicht überlaufen von Menschenmassen. Das gesamte Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilft in jeder Situation. Morgens wird ein kleines aber leckeres und frisches Frühstücksbuffet liebevoll zubereitet. Der Pool ist sauber und hat eine schöne Größe. Es gibt eine kleine Bar im Poolbereich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel wählen!

Excellent value for money. They accommodated us with early check in as we travelled extremely early by boat and were very grateful. Anything they can do for you is never a problem. Tina was an amazing host! The breakfast was excellent. The best I've had in a B and B in Greece! Will be back for longer next time!

What a wonderful family run Hotel right on the beach. Pretty, traditional, spotless rooms, a great pool and the best breakfast menu you could wish for. But the stand out best thing about The Boathouse are the owners, the amazing staff and the friends you will make while sipping cocktails at the Blue Moon bar 🌚 (all branded spirits by the way, no cheap rubbish) Thank you all at the Boathouse for a truly memorable stay ❤️ I’ll be back 😉

Beachfront ,, charming, warm and helpful staff

A lovely hotel with amazing staff, who couldn’t do enough to help you. Fresh breakfast each morning you can see being cooked from scratch onsite vs pre prepared. Lovely little bar makes the most amazing mojitos. Rooms large and clean. Recommend.

Such a special place, in the best location in Kamari. Right on the beach, The rooms all have air conditioning, fridge and a safe. Nice pool, great pool bar. The staff here are what makes this place even more special, they really go out of their way to make your stay as good as can be. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Perfect and helpful staff and perfect service. Very well designed and very clean rooms. Very nice that everyone is nice and everyone smiles. I recommend it to anyone looking for very good accommodation at a fair price, right on the waterfront.

We have absolutely loved staying at The Boathouse! The staff are just so incredibly lovely, the location is fantastic, and the hotel itself is just beautiful. This is our first time staying here, but it's clear that many of the guests are returning visitors - which in itself is a clear indication of how much people love this place - and like them, we too will most definitely be returning in the future. It's very much a place for family and friends, and it seems that all guests are treated as such. And, if that's not enough, they also have the charmingly cheeky, Zeus! Honestly, we've loved every minute and can't wait to return in the future.

Beautiful, traditional small hotel with the most friendly & helpful staff, comfy bed, powerful shower, delicious breakfast, great pool, a few steps from the beach and lots of lovely restaurants, bars & shops! Watching the sun rise from our balcony was very special too! Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back!!

Great location right on the beach,5or6 restaurants next door and 60 or more a2 minute walk.the rooms r large with a great walk in shower fridge and a free safety box,a good size pool with steps at one end poolside bar serving cocktails beers soft drinks and a few snacks the staff here are really friendly and helpful and you get a free pick from the airport. I will definitely stay here again

The sea view is just jawdropping. Worth every penny. The bed is huge and silent.

Fabulous little hotel right on the beachfront, lovely and well-kept rooms, pool/bar area, and a delicious, good selection for breakfast. The hotel team were friendly and helpful. Restaurants and bus stop to Fira were within walking distance. All in all, it's a perfect hotel to stay in.

Very good, great location: Many restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops nearby. Bus stations as well as Fira and Oia are easily accessible. The sea is beautiful but quite rocky. Towels are provided, which saves space when traveling. The staff are very patient and friendly. The pool area has long opening hours, which is very convenient. Breakfast is excellent – every day there is a new warm option. They really take care of guests and are accommodating. The room is very comfortable with cozy beds and enough storage space. The only downside is that the lighting is a bit dim. The neighborhood feels safe and trustworthy.

Excellent family run hotel. I’ve stayed here before and it never disappoints!!! Good location, friendly staff. Rooms are clean and bathrooms great with big walk-in showers. One of best things is the breakfasts…large selection and fresh food. Pool bar offers cool cocktails, refreshments & snacks. A lovely, warm atmosphere perfect for a holiday.

Property was lovely, we was well happy, we had inter connecting rooms, Diane was so helpful and arranged a taxi to see the sights and booked a restaurant to view sunset, the staff where so lovely and made you feel comfortable, we needed more clothes hangers we received them straight away, could not do enough for us, recommend getting up to see sunrise, me and my friends would definitely rebook this hotel.

I want to thank all The staff of the boathouse hotel for their kindness and hospitality. It was my first trip on my own and i didn’t feel lonely thanks to their warmness. pool and backyard are very beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. I recommend to attend the sunrises which is in front of the hotel by the sea, It’s worth the early alarm.

Pool bar music too noisy and unsuitable. As far as we can see most people around the pool and bar were mature people. Loud rap type music was not appropriate in our opinion. Relaxing music would be better.

The is on the south eastern side of the Santorini island; a street full of hotels and restaurants overlooking the beach. Free breakfast, good staff and since we had a rental car we could move around the island freely. There is no parking on the facility, rather in the entire street; you will have to park in the side streets and walk which is not too bad. Best location to watch sunrise.

Had a fabulous week at the Boathouse. Room was comfortable and spotless, with a cleaner coming in as often as we requested. Great air conditioning. Breakfast was fabulous with home baked goods, the banana bread was amazing. We got really excited for breakfast. There are shops within 150 metres for essentials and fabulous restaurants again, very easy walk. Almira and Aqua Azur (next door) were exceptional. Only thing I would have like was a handrail to get into the pool. The first time I went in I misread the depth and nearly took a tumble….another woman said the same…..but it is not a big deal…. I’m just a bit nervy around pools. Pool was spotless as were the beds and seating area. They have a friendly cat who says hello and a neighbour’s dog who drops in too….it was just lovely. If you have any infirmity, ask for a grind floor, steep steps to get to upper floor, but if you have upper floor, the views are fabulous. Dianne and her team do a brilliant job.. highly recommend. Had an amazing week room was lovely with a sea view breakfast by the pool with lots of choice fresh fruit and great Greek yogurt lots of meats and cheese eggs tea coffee and fruit juice. Evening at the blue moon bar was good talking to other guests and evie and George my husband was happy talking about the brewery with George and drinking crazy donkey ales. Zeus the cat is the manager checking in with all the guests. So a big thank you to Diane kalo and all your wonderful staff ❤️ we will be back 😀

There was nothing I didn't like. Others might dislike the closeness of Kamari to the airport - you can see and hear the planes coming in. Did not bother us. The hotel does not have TVs - a bliss for a relaxed vacation if you ask me.

First trip to Greece, first solo holiday in a foreign country. This was absolutely the best choice. It’s family owned and operated, so cozy and relaxing. The staff is kind and attentive without being intrusive. By the 3rd morning they had noted that I liked lemon water and someone always had limes or lemons available in the morning. I would def recommend. The room was perfect. Clean, simple with a patio overlooking the pool area. It’s so cozy, yet the natural beauty of the place- the overhanging Flowers, the pretty little nooks… so serene. The hosts are happy to help with questions, laundry service was handy. It was absolutely lovely and hard to leave.

Really friendly staff that really cares about you! The place is kept really clean and the breakfast buffet was really delicious.

The family owned business was a great bargain, right on the beach. My stay was very enjoyable. Small problem, toilets do not take paper, I forgot and found myself fishing it out of the toilet!

This was a great cozy small hotel right across the beautiful black sand beach. Top restaurants a stone throw away, nice shops a short stroll distance. The staff was excellent, professional and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel.

location across from the beach, breakfast was really well prepared and over catered...there was plenty of options! room was always cleaned and new towels supplied, the pool is a good size for the amount of people

our rooms were located adjacent to the pool bar, with young kids it was pretty loud on some evenings to the early hours of the morning, more our problem than anyone else's...., the wifi in the rooms didn't work more then it worked but was ok in the open areas, No TV in the rooms to chill out between exploring the island, this beach and where this hotel is located its in the direct landing path to the airport, with planes running from 6am to midnight

Pretty, traditional hotel with a beautiful pool area in wonderful Kamari. Surrounded by lots of great bars and restaurants and only 20-minutes on the bus from Fira making it really easy to explore the whole island. Good breakfast, very clean, nice modern bathrooms. Great value for money!

Great location and breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at the boathouse. It is right next to the beach & by so many shops / restaurants. The office staff is beyond amazing. They made my now husband & I feel so welcome. They treated us like old friends. We had such a great time. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

The location is amazing, loved being able to hear the sea at night. Our room was fantastic, view across to the beach was wonderful. It was definitely worth getting up early to see the sunrise over the sea. The staff were great; super helpful and friendly. Lovely family run hotel would love to visit again some day.
