Excellent hotel at an affordable price

It's a really lovely hotel. Extremely clean and the staff could not be nicer. My room was huge. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nice. It's a basic Morrocan breakfast with breads, pastries and spreads. No meats.

Unfortunately, they no longer sell alcohol. There's a bar across the roundabout at Hotel Tiznet that's nice enough and they will sell you beer to take back to your room if you like. The air conditioning seems to be limited to 25°. For a Brit, this may be a bit too warm!

The location, la propreté, welcoming staff, tout est bien. Juste pour la restauration, si c'est possible pour le petit déjeuner d'avoir plus de diversification ( fromage en tranche, choix des jus, etc). . Merci

Cleanliness

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. Although this is a four-star hotel, it feels outdated and in need of renovation. The furniture and rooms are old, and some facilities need maintenance. The breakfast was very basic and lacked variety, far below what I would expect from a four-star hotel. Most importantly, the AC in my room wasn’t working, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable given the summer heat in southern Morocco. Overall, the experience did not meet four-star standards.

L’endroit est bien situé près du souk. Le personnel est accueillant. Chapeau bas pour le maître nageur Tarek qui est vigilant est plein de bons conseils pour les enfants.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel, notamment grâce au personnel, présent, attentionné et toujours aux petits soins du début à la fin de notre séjour. Un grand merci à eux pour leur accueil chaleureux. L'emplacement est également un vrai atout : en plein centre-ville, tout est facilement accessible à pied. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable.

En revanche, quelques points nous ont un peu déçus pour un établissement 4 étoiles. Le petit-déjeuner manque clairement de variété : peu de choix de produits, des viennoiseries qui n'étaient pas fraîches, et un jus d'orange visiblement industriel plutôt qu'un jus pressé, ce qui n'est pas à la hauteur du standing de l'hôtel. Autre bémol : l'eau de la piscine était trouble malgré un entretien apparent, ce qui nous a un peu gênés pour en profiter pleinement. Malgré ces quelques réserves, nous garderons un bon souvenir de ce séjour grâce à la qualité de l'accueil et à l'emplacement. Quelques ajustements sur le petit-déjeuner et l'entretien de la piscine permettraient à l'hôtel de véritablement mériter ses 4 étoiles.

La climatisation ne fonctionne pas malgré l’effort du personnel en nous proposant plusieurs chambres aucune ne dispose d’une climatisation fonctionnelle malgré nos commentaires de deux années successives, il est vraiment temps de remplacer les remplacer les climatisation de cet hôtel par des climatisations individuelles et surtout fonctionnel car aujourd’hui quel que soit l’étage ou la chambre c’est juste de l’air chaud brassé et suffocant surtout l’été et surtout pour les familles avec enfants en bas âge. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur et reste très basique ( café, pain, et quelques bricoles).

La restauration. Plus d’1h30min d’attente pour un sandwich au bord de la piscine, et dans le restaurant franchement les tajines et brochettes n’étaient pas terrible

Bel établissement, avec un accueil chaleureux. L’hôtel est propre, spacieux et offre un cadre agréable.

L'emplacement non loin de la vieille ville. La piscine pour moi tout seul. Le lit immense et très confortable.

Le personnel du restaurant peu souriant et service très long. Le petit déjeuner trop "aseptisé" et européen. Dans la chambre, pas de sèche cheveux. Une douche amovible aurait été préférable.

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The space was extremely clean and inviting. The room was very comfortable with light switches and sockets positioned expertly to minimize movement. The little extras were amazing. A near perfect experience.

Breakfast was delicious but included very few hot options to eat.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Besonders an der Rezeption ein junger Mann, der Deutsch, Französisch und Englisch fließend spricht und uns viele tolle Tipps gegeben hat – wirklich außergewöhnlich herzlich und informativ. Zentrale Lage, ideal zum Erkunden der Stadt. Schöner Innenhof mit Swimmingpool. Unser Zimmer zum Innenhof war sehr ruhig. Zimmer sauber und geräumig, Empfangsbereich großzügig gestaltet. Frühstücksbuffet gut, auch das Abendessen hat uns geschmeckt. Parkplatz gleich vor der Tür. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmes Hotel – gerne wieder!

Le personnel est très très agréable malgré le ramadan. Les réceptionnistes ainsi que les serveurs tous étaient très sympathiques. Et au petit soin pour rendre notre séjour agréable

Leider war der Föhn im Zimmer defekt und die Klinke der Terrassentür nicht fest.

Petit déjeuner : rien n'est conservé à la bonne température (pas de chaîne du froid ou maintien en température du chaud), hygiéne douteuse des couverts ,prestation trop basique pour ce type d'établissement.

Er was een feest bij het zwembad, waar onze kamer op uitkeek, met veel rumoer tot half 1 's nachts. We vonden de menukaart voor diner ontoereikend en hebben elders gegeten

De geweldige ambiance, het comfort en de ligging.

Een minpuntje was het ontbijt. Het brood was niet vers en voor het hogere segment had ik wel een wat meer gevarieerd aanbod verwacht. Geen vers fruit of yoghurt.

Beautiful hotel, would love to come back in summer to use the amazing pool. Rooms were big and clean and quiet.

We were at the end of the hotel and so had no working WiFi. The pillows were hard as rocks and gave me neck pain and I didn’t sleep well. For breakfast I think there was an option to order omelette or other egg dishes but we were not told, so only noticed when we already finished.

L'emplacement est très bien , il permet de l'accès à pied à la ville. Chambre très confortable et calme. Petit déjeuner très correct.

La salle de bain est avec baignoire sans flexible. La pomme de douche est fixe au mur donc prévoir une charlotte si vous ne voulez pas mouiller les cheveux.

A very nice hotel within easy reach of the Medina. All the staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean.

Diese Unterkunft mussten wir spontan wählen, da aufgrund von Unwetter und Überschwemmungen der Weg zu unserer ursprünglich gebuchten Unterkunft versperrt war. Umso mehr hat uns das Hotel überrascht: Die Größe, Weite und das Zimmer machten einen sehr großzügigen Eindruck – im Vergleich zu unseren vorherigen Unterkünften fühlte es sich fast wie ein Palast an. Das Hotel hat einen besonderen, luxuriösen marokkanischen Charme mit einem Flair vergangener Jahre und diente früher als Unterkunft für Teilnehmende (unter anderem) der Rallye Dakar. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich gestaltet hat. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank!

No drinking water in the room

The lobby is really beautiful and the rooms were spacious with a bath and a balcony. Just what we needed after a stressful journey. The staff are very friendly and we had no issues at all during our stay.

The staff and manager were so sincerely warm, hospitital and accomodating right across the board. I felt very welcome and room was upgraded to a suite. It was like heaven. It has been an amazing experience that I wish that more will try.
