Hotel Mistral 2

Off season. Oristano does not win the ‘happenin’ place award. This is a pretty good hotel and close to city center. I asked for a view and got top floor no view. Oh well, the room was modern spartan but with all expected amenities and it was fine. Dinner in the restaurant was pretty good for clam spaghetti and a house salad. Breakfast was appropriately expansive. Little things like unstable internet; unlit elevator floor lights; one small plastic cup in the room were somewhat weird, but overall it’s better than average.

Nice property and the breakfast was very good

Tutto perfetto. Vicino al centro storico. Parcheggio sotteraneo e su strada. Ottime colazioni e personal

Great location near the city center. Comfy bed and very clean room. The staff was friendly and helpful. We’d stay again!

Personale gentile e disponibile, stanze comode e pulite, sicuramente raccomandabile

All was ok. Walking distance from center. Small parking, but easy to find free parking in the street anyway.

Great, clean place, breakfast was excellent

Hotel molto buono

Great rooms. The restaurant was one of the best we had visited and so was the wine selection. The surrounding area included a supermarket, pharmacy, park etc. and all were less than a 5 minute walk.

The service after business hours. I had an early flight and no one at the front desk except security

ottimo albergo ben posizionato

Funzionale. Fuori centro vicino agli ospedali.

Valida soluzione. Personale gentile ed efficiente. Camera pulita e confortevole.

Good experience

Kind hostesses, clean room, very good choice for breakfast, parking below the hotel, 5 minutes walk to old town centre with restaurants and shops. Did not use the pool as it was a bit cold in the evening. Missed a kettle for coffee/tea, just as a wish, no complaints ;)

Good hotel close to the centre of Oristano, with a parking garage. Friendly staff. It's a good place if you want to explore the wider area, it's easy to get on the motorway, or equally easy to walk into town.

Soggiorno breve ma confortevole. Camera pulita, colazione buona e abbondante, personale gentilissimo. Ottimo il ristorante. Consiglio.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Servizio ristorante comodo. Parcheggio privato gratuito. Posto tranquillo.

We payed about 70 euro for our stay. We got free parking in a garage, breakfast and a Nice and clean room. If you just rank value for money this is 5 out of 5. And Oristano is a really nice town.

The hotel was clean and the room clean and comfortable

una garanzia

Bon hôtel et bon restaurant. Personnel agréable. Parfait pour une nuit

The hotel was very basic. The room was small and bare. The bed was fine but the pillows were flat & uncomfortable. There were no tissues in the room. The breakfast buffet was good.

Outstanding from arrival to departure

Average hotel with poor air conditioning in rooms. Not the hotels fault, but there is a taxi problem in Oristano - no taxis on Sunday so if you arrive by train good luck! And taxi dictates the time they will pick you up, not what is convenient to you. Some staff very helpful, others sour!

C'è poco da dire, tutto perfetto. Tutto in ordine, camera e bagno spaziosi e puliti. Colazione ben fornita. Personale sempre attento e presente.

Swimming pool not available. Good breakfast. Coffee is so so. Bed was unstable and my friend fell out in the middle of the night.

Posizione centrale, peccato sia un po' trascurata...

La posizione

Hotel comodo, in posizione tranquilla.

The hotel is a pleasant place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The diner & the breakfast were qualitative. Very clean place. The location near the city center is an added value. There is also a parking.

Bien situé pour visiter les alentours. Confortable.

Bravi

Nice hotel. Rooms a little tired but clèan and comfortable. Breakfast good. Free underground parking. Close to city centre . Nice poolbut poool closed for two hours in afternoon which not good when you want a swim

Our room is quite large, with small fridge, flat TV, air conditioner. There are lots of design things in the room, like light switches or equipment in the bathroom. The street where hotel is locates is very quiet. There are type L electric sockets compatible with type C sockets. If you need grounded Eurosocket (type F), there are several on ground floor. The room was far from the elevator, maybe because of this Internet connection was weak. Next to elevator there is sofa and Internet connection was much better. The hotel has nice continental breakfast. Their cafe macchiato is absolutely superb. There is no actual beach in Oristano, but hotel has 25m swimming pool on the ground floor. For the local sightseeing the old city wall is just 250m from the hotel. For the shopping Eurospar supermarket is just 90m from the hotel, Crai in 500m. The large EuroSpin and MD supermarkets are in 2 km in Santa Justa direction. There is nice park with playground, calisthenic equipment and small duck pond just in 140m from the hotel. ARST bus station is in 650m from the hotel. Buses to Punta Is Arutas beach with quartz sand and Sant Giovanni di Sinis goes there. A train stations is 1.8 km from the hotel.

There are many hotels in Italy where it is impossible to open windows because of the traffic. However, it was not the case with Mistral2. The hotel was clean and impressed us a lot. When we arrived in the hotel, we asked for a place to have a lunch. We were guided to the best resraurant in town, but in the evrning it turned out that the hotel restaurant was even better. If in Oristano you are looking for a calm stay with a great restaurant, then this is the place.

Decent location, mainly chose hotel for convenience of parking garage. The restaurant has good food and is great for dinner, although was not informed that could get booked up, so one night had to venture out on windy and rainy night for other option. The bed was ok, could use a mattress pad, as not very soft and could feel the two beds connected together.

hotel bien organisé, chambre bien, environnement citadin

Stayed in the hotel for a week. Staff were excellent and very efficient and service was very quick. Breakfast was very good with a brilliant array of food and drink. Dinner was always good with plenty of variety. There is a underground car park and really nice swimming pool. It is very central and a great place to stay when exploring the island

Tutto bene

Tutto ok a parte il condizionatore rumoroso

mistral2 is easy to find, has free undergound parking (so no trying to park like italians on street!) Room was large with big bed, a safe, plenty of space and hangers for clothes, hooks for coats. Restaurant was rather bright but had varied large menu with local specialities. All staff wore masks, our temperature was checked on arrival and before going into restaurant . Easy walking distance into town for food and sites. Oristano itself is quite small but has plenty of places ot eat and drink and easy to get to Tharros, though Alghero is a bit of a long day. Take main roads-its longer distance but much easier driving! Sardinia has v windy roads over moutnains and along coast which take much longer than you think.

Friendly staff, at the centre, nice breakfast and machine for otanges, garage, walkable

We really liked Hotel Mistral2. Very friendly staff, all the staff show alot of pride in their work, great breakfast, nice pool and a great bar. Really enjoyed it. Would come back again.

Hairs in bathroom sink and tube of shampoo left in shower from previous guest. Was also tried to be charged for room again on departure. Think this was just confusion but better training could maybe be given ...

A/C was not working; only heating. Bed was very good. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and efficient. Free parking. Walkable (5 mins to city center).

Considering what I’ve seen at Olbia, this hotel deserves 6 stars. Check in was great, lady at the desk has spoken great level of English. Room was clean and breakfast excellent. I’ve appreciated car parking. Would recommend to anyone.

Great location, city center by walk. Great breakfast. Lady from reception helped us with every demand.

Nice hotel close to downtown with pool, free underground parking and pool. Breakfast was above average and staff helpful.

Very ordinary hotel

Excellent breakfast, easy parking centrally located, friendly staff, good pool.

We stayed one night in this hotel, choosing it for the location. The reception area and rooms were functional and rather like many business hotels I have stayed in over the years. Comfortable for a brief stay. The lifts seemed very slow and struggled to keep up with the number of floors versus the number of guests. Breakfast time was like a war-zone. There were far too few staff to clear tables, replenish glasses, plates or food from the buffet. The place looked wrecked with barely anywhere to sit without piles of dirty plates from previous occupants of the table. We grabbed a few scraps of what ever food was left and departed as quickly as possible.

Big hotel close to downtown. A bit worn off, although the room was very clean. The breakfast a bit of a deception (machine coffee, not from expresso), saved by a freshly pressed real orange juice (the only one of our trip!). Very little parking places, practically impossible to park there unless you do it very early in the day, but you can park on the street. The most important negative point was that the (central) air conditionner was cut off during the night (somewhere between 2 and 4~5 AM), rising the room temperature to uncomfortable levels (it was a hot day the day before, but pretty common for Italy).

Nice clean modern hotel, well situated for the centre. Supermarket just round the corner. Very good wifi. Safe under hotel car park. Large room, with all mod cons. Food at hotel was good, but the service in the restaurant was not up to the same standard, possibly because a coach party arrived at the same time as us. Would stay here again, no problem.

An older hotel, well-maintained. Excellent location for access to the center of the city. Staff were excellent and food in the restaurant most enjoyable. Would certainly return.

Excellent place to stay very confortable the best brekfast and cappuccino very helpfully and friendly loved it
