E' al Pireo, Con l'autobus 040, vicinissimo all'hotel, si raggiunge o Syntagma, o Dimotiko, dove c'è la metropolitana verde che porta in mezz'ora a Syntagma e da lì due fermate per l'Acropoli. Ho scelto il Pireo, perché è una zona tranquilla, senza problemi di microcriminalità.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Très bon emplacement si vous prenez le ferry pour les Cyclades. Le quartier est rempli de bar à hôtesses, ce n'est pas idéal si vous voyagez en famille. Très bon rapport qualité prix. J'ai été surclassé donc je ne peux que le confirmer.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The bathroom is renovated. The linen are so white and new. The location very convenient. The message after the booking so informative. The breakfast very practical and fresh. Plus a small environmental fee because the hotel is with one star i think. I have been in a so called three star hotel before on Iroon Politechneiou street and the bathroom facilities were in very bad shape. Bravo Ideal. Value for money for solo travelers. Some say the hotel is a for a short stay. I say it's a for a long stay since Piraeus and Athens is huge and you can spend more since Ideal is economical. If you want a hotel to be a resort it's a different thing but if you need a decent stay i would suggest it.
Only one thing. My room was close to the storage room of the cleaner. She went there at 07;30 am and was making some noise. I wake up at that time eitherway almost everyday and if i dont have a schedule i sleep again but because i got distracted by the noise until i understand who it was i lost my sleep and didn't sleep back.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026I stayed at Ideal hotel for the location, had to board Silversea cruise ship next day, and hotel was within very easywalking distance with my trolley suitcase to terminal A, where the ship was berthed. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good with a darling of a lady serving coffee and toasted sandwich. Really good value for money this hotel. Also airport bus stops nearby.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Overall, a really good find for the price we paid. The staff were super nice and helpful. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which I honestly didn’t expect!
Unfortunately, we stayed there on a Friday night, and the bar next door was open until the early hours of the morning. The music was so loud that we could clearly hear the lyrics even from the 4th floor. I wasn’t able to fall asleep until 3 AM, even with earplugs. If you’re a light sleeper like me, this is definitely something to take into consideration when booking this accommodation. That said, I am still giving the accommodation a 9/10, as this wasn’t their fault.

Een zeer kleine lift enkel voor 2 personen. Vermoedelijk wordt er soms nog gerookt in de kamers ☹️

The Room was extremely hot when we entered, the electric fuse kept jumping out when you put the card in. Short after midnight the hotel lost power completely until 11 am next day and we slept at 35 degrees without air conditioning elevator and light. The hotel claimed it was the whole neighbourhood but it was not, I have it on video. the hotel refused a refund.

Tego dnia/nocy mieliśmy pecha i w hotelu brakło prądu na wiele godzin w tym w nocy. Nie mogliśmy spać z powodu 40stC w pokoju, otwarcie okna to potężny hałas pojazdów (skutery bez tłumika) i krzyki z ulicy w środku nocy z klubu nocnego. Śniadanie w pobliskim hotelu. Walizki trzeba było znosić po wąskich schodach z 4 piętra. Ten pobyt miał dać nam odpoczynek przed dalszą podróżą a niestety tylko pogorszył sprawę.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Nice room, although it was a bit small. The shower was leaking, so the entire bathroom got wet. The woman at reception was very friendly, and we even received a free coffee in the morning. The hotel is close to the port, which made it very convenient for catching the ferry. Overall, it was a good stay.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026There is a bar on the same street and right at the front of the hotel. Even though my room was on the 4th floor, the noise was disturbing. I chose the hotel only to rest well before my ferry and walk to the ferry easily the next morning.
