Catedral Almería

The staff, without exception, were very friendly ,helpfull and efficient. The outlook over the cathedral square was beautiful . The roof terrace with the plunge pool and bar etc was truly wonderful. A great space.

Not a surprise but the cathedral bells were very loud. They ring from 8am until midnight. Some might find this charming but some might find it a bit much. The beds were a bit too soft for our comfort. Perhaps just an unfortunate choice but thought the food was very disappointing. Expected better.

The (superior) room was rather spartan. A few pictures would have made it more cosy. The shower was good, but a fair bit of water leaked out.

La habitación era la 12 y justo debajo la cocina por lo que los obreros hablaba tan ato que a media noche no podia dormir.

La ubicación es excelente en la plaza de la catedral, y las vistas desde la azotea y la piscina son muy chulas. El desayuno y el personal de la cafetería muy buenos también.

Mucho ruido en general - tanto de las campanas de la catedral (que está pegada) como de los pasillos del hotel. Si tienes sueño ligero, es difícil dormir. Se nota que es un hotel antigüo - sobretodo en los baños y en los detalles (cortinas, etc).

Loved our room at Hotel Cathedral, larger than expected and really modern with a nice view. Great location, easy to access all of Almeria. Rooftop bar is beautiful.

There were no bath/shower towels upon arrival in room so had to call reception and to be fair that did send 2 up, however, the shower overflowed and water was seeping into the bedroom area. This was obvious that this had been happening for a long time or previously as water damage to the skirting board and floor. I had to contact reception who said they would send someone to look but I requested another room and they were happy to arrange this. In comparison to the same hotel in Pamplona which was spotlessly clean this hotel didn't live up to its standards.

El personal de recepción fue amable y nos ayudaron en todo momento, menos una mujer, que el día que llegamos, nos dijo que una de nuestras habitaciones también era suite junior, (a pesar de ser MUY diferente de la otra que habíamos reservado) porque tenía plato de ducha y un sofá.

Reservamos dos suites junior. La nuestra era tal cual la foto y la de mi hermana era mucho más pequeña, con un sofá enano, sin escobilla, sin las mismas instalaciones en el baño, pero sí que tenía el mismo precio. Quedamos FATAL con nuestros invitados. No tenían ni escobilla, y cuando pedimos una nos la trajeron NEGRA de suciedad. Se escuchaba todo el ruido de la terraza y de la calle. Las puertas no cerraban bien y las paredes estaban llenas de remiendos.

La ubicación está genial si quieres visitar el centro de Almería y está rodeado de un montón de opciones de restauración. Las camas son muy cómodas y el baño muy amplio

Es imposible dormir. El hotel está pegado literalmente a la catedral, lo que implica campanadas desde las 8 de la mañana, con sus cuartos, y campanada a y cuarto, y media y menos cuarto. Eso en cuanto a las mañanas (no importa que sea fin de semana), por las noches los locales cercanos cierran sobre las 2-2.30 lo que hace que un montón de gente esté en esas calles a esas horas y en las habitaciones se escucha absolutamente todo (incluido lo que pasa en los pasillos). En general, creo que no está equilibrado calidad-precio. Además de que se hace muy complicado el descanso, hubiera esperado más de un hotel de 4 estrellas. Las habitaciones se ven ya algo antiguas y las paredes necesitan ser pintadas. Mi puntuación es baja debido al ruido y al elevado precio para lo que ofrecen

La camera scarna, non sono state cambiate le salviette che erano per terra in quanto sporche e sono state ri appese. Manca l'attenzione ai dettagli per essere un 4 stelle, un bottiglietta d'acqua come Welcome, una macchinetta del caffè, è il primo 4 stelle dove non c'era nulla di tutto ciò.

Che dire, hotel eccezionale per posizione, bellezza della struttura, dimensione e arredamento della camera, vista sulla cattedrale, piscina sul tetto a disposizione, garage privato a 1 minuto dall'albergo. Consigliatissimo

Decisamente incantevole l'ingresso. Fiabbesco. Personale super gentile. Siamo arrivati dopo l'una di notte per via del traffico dovuto all'eclissi solare nonostante ciò l'accoglienza è stata gentile.

Camere al primo piano decisamente basic, nulla di particolare. Forte odore della fogna del bagno che è sparito dopo che abbiamo chiuso la porta del bagno e acceso l'aria condizionata. Sembra una vecchia struttura rifatta con il minimo indispensabile.

El Parking es bueno pero está relativamente lejos y el rpocedimeitno es farragoso, te han de acompañar ellos al parking, no hay control telemático. Para volver en coche al hotel desde el parking hay que dar una vuelta tremenda...

Los baños necesitan una mejora, para el precio que tiene tienen que estar acordes a la calidad que supuestamente ofrecen. En la última planta está la cafetería-restaurante del hotel y cuando acaba el turno sobre las 00:00 se ponen a bajar platos, vasos etc y hacen muchísimo ruido y es un poco desagradable.

The hotel was fabulous and the staff very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculate and modern. We had a lovely evening meal in the rooftop bar, with very attentive and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. The location is perfect.

La posizione centralissima. Il loro parking. Il personale gentilissimo. La pulizia. Al roof top segnalo Diego la cui gentilezza e professionalità ci hanno colpito. La disponibilità della conciergerie nel cambiarci prontamente la stanza per i giorni della domenica e del lunedì (non riuscivamo a dormire nella prima assegnata il venerdì ed il sabato), va segnalata e premiata. La seconda camera affacciata su una stradina laterale piuttosto che sulla Piazza, ha fatto davvero la differenza e salvato il soggiorno.

La camera della prime due notti, venerdì e sabato, affacciata sulla Piazza della Cattedrale e, purtroppo, sul bar ivi posto. Impossibile dormire fino alle 4 o alle 5 del mattino.

Гостиница находится на очень красивой площади. Заехать на машине получилось не сразу, но есть возможность поставить машину в подземный гараж совсем рядом за 20 евро. В гостинице на крыше есть несколько лежаков и маленькие бассейн с великолепным видом на исторические здания. Вечером на крыше можно заказать ужин. Номер очень комфортный. На завтрак можно заказать несколько видов омлета, бекон, есть булочки, свежие фрукты.

The hotel was stunning, room was lovely, spacious, clean, tidy and very quiet. Bathroom spacious and very clean to. Roof top pool/bar area was beautiful, over looking the cathedral and square at night. very warm welcome by the receptionist and managed to check in bit earlier than planned as the room was ready. Very central to Almeria centre, and the town was buzzing at night.

Only thing I would complain about was the food unfortunately, we hadn't eaten, so decided to have a late lunch, The restaurant was very busy, which wasn't a problem for us, but the food came out cold, and not very tasty. Was expecting better for a 4 star. However the cocktails at night on the roof top terrace were delicious, and the food looked great, but we had already eaten. So next time would try the food on the terrace.

El parquing no esta en el hotel y no me gusta molestar. Solo fue un dia y esta bien pero si vas mas dias tienes que estar molestando al personal ya que te tienen que acompañar. Como subsanarlo? Haces pagar fianza y que te dejen el mando. De nada

Me sentí estafado por la administración. Tuve una equivocación y reservé 1 habitacion de mas. Di aviso de ese error 24 horas antes. Sin embargo y a pesar de que ocupamos 3 habitaciones, me cobraron los 3 días de estadía en la habitación no usada . Por otra parte las personas que atendían en la recepción tuvieron comportamientos claramente hostiles

Staying next to the Cathedral makes it super easy to meander the town without fear of getting lost because there’s signs to the Cathedral everywhere.

Le restaurant et son mauvais service. Beaucoup des plats dans la carte n’étaient pas disponibles dès l’ouverture du restaurant. Le temps d’attente entre deux plats de presque une heure. Nous avons été complètement ignorés et sommes partis sans avoir complété notre repas. Aucun geste de la part de l’hôtel.

Reception on arrival and throughout, was good, parking was fabulous too. Room was very clean and the shower was great, lots of pressure. Swimming pool was good, but a little grubby with blown in detritus.

Had a 4th floor room, the bar and pool are on 5. They really really need rubber feet on rooftop bar chairs and tables, because they are regularly and very loudly scraped and then at around 11 to 11.30 it sounds like the bar staff put all the chairs and tables straight, crash, bash scrape. Rubber feet needed!
