Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Hotel staff was always very helpful, whenever anything was requested, the response was efficient and attentive. Breakfast buffet was good, not great, I'd rate it with a B. Cleanliness was top notch, and it was an ideal location based on my specific travel needs.
There seems to be too little staff or not enough communication between staff areas. Our main interaction with the hotel, outside of the buffet was the pool. Saturday there was no music on, and the pool heaters weren't on. Internally dialing 9 for Front desk never worked, I always had to dial the hotel via my mobile, and dialed 1 for reservations and then I asked for what I needed. In this fashion I ordered lunch for my family Saturday afternoon, poolside. Sunday morning, pool towels hadn't been restocked and yesterday's lunch dishes were still there. Pool heater and music were on though, so it seems someone in charge of that, did their job but didn't alert the rest of the staff, dirty dishes were still there or towels were missing. Front desk didn't know the correct time the pool opened.

I did not like that the parking was not included. It’s the first hotel I had to pay for parking. Also I like dogs but are not fund of pet friendly hotels.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026I stayed at the Novotel Mexico City last week, was there for 5 days for an internal company meetings that was being hosted there. I have quite a bit of restrictions due to my vegetarian diet, and I would like to thank wholeheartedly Antonio G., who went above and beyond to really make sure I was well taken care of. During lunch one day, although there was salad for me, he went above and beyond to see if the chef could start the Pizza oven and make me a pizza. It was highly appreciated. Another day, he had a custom pasta made for me. This level of service is what makes me want to come back here each time I come to mexico city. I know I will be taken care of. Also, in the morning a wonderful gentleman by the name of Manu, took great care of me and ensured I had my coffee, and some food, before the restaurant officially opened due to my flight. I do not ask for special service, but it is great when team members like Antonio and Manu make it so much easier for the guest to be comfortable. Many thanks!!

El dia que llegue fue el 25 de noviembre en recepción no había sistema para registrar a los Pasajes y se hizo muy larva la espera y la gente en recepción bastante Kenya. Cuando pedi un Uber con anticipation la noche antes de salir del hotel porque me gusta tener todo planes do. Al Dia siguiente el muchacho de recepción se confundio y me dijo que ese era mi Uber cuando en realidad era un taxi que da Servicio’s al Hotel y el Uber me cobro igual como si hunters hecho la carrera.

It is small but nice. No bathroom there, which is a downside. There is an open swimming pool, I did not try it. In summary, a great hotel for your business trips.

Reviewed Oct 20, 2025This hotel lacks nothing. However, if you are in CDMX for the typical sites, the museums, the important landmarks, do not stay here. You will spend hours going back and forth to the hotel. This is a hotel for you if your conference or other work assignment are close. Mexico City traffic is so poorly organized, and there are so many commuters, that every trip into the central city takes too much time. In case you are here because you are doing business in Santa Fe, well, you cannot beat the hospitality. The breakfasts are especially well thought out, and the dining facility is nearly adequate. Josefina in the breakfast room is cheerful and competent, and works hard to make your breakfast pleasant. The room cleaners are exceptional. The shower is one-of-a-kind.
