Schickes Hotel.
Nice location and room have good view
Quite spacious n super clean
Ok hotel, old but perfectly good. Room was hot but they let me open the balcony door to cool the room down. Nice views from room Would stay again.
Staying at the Tai'an Dongzun Huada Hotel, I immediately felt that the years were a long way away. The room facilities and equipment are also quite outdated, but fortunately the service is very good. Zhang Qianwei, the assistant manager of the lobby, was very friendly and gave fruit as a gift when checking in.
Staff personnel friendly and helpful. Great service and always helped me with getting aTaxi.
Amazing swimming pool and nice gym! Beautiful place! Wonderful breakfast even though it wasn't included in the hotel price.
They don't have self laundry service!
Wonderful experience at this Hotel and it is at a very reasonable rate. The customer service personnel Ms. Ella Liu and the Concierge Manager Mr. Wang Lei are very patient in handling your questions and requests. Ms Liu provided a rollaway bed and breakfast and recommended a restaurant nearby which is good, She even remembered to check out our room even though in our hurry to go Mt. Tai, after putting our bags with Mr. Wang, we forgot to check out with her. One of my lost leather gloves dropped at the front porch the night before was returned to me by the night staff. Mr. Wang got our tickets for FengShan Ceremony, High Speed Rail booking from Qufu to Tianjin. We were also given an upgraded hotel transport to pick us up from the base of Mt. Tai after our climb with our checked out luggage in the car, tour Qufu the birth place of Confucius and straight to the HSR station onwards to Tianjin for RMB500. Various ways to go Mt. Tai is also being explained in details. The room is good & clean but there is a gap when sliding the glass door of the bathroom and cannot be locked. Good breakfast buffet spread and there is a heated indoor swimming pool and a small zoo of pig, deer, ducks, chickens and peacocks. Pet friendly Hotel and is highly recommended.
It was delicious, I loved it.
I sorry, but I liked everything.
Ok
Dirty room with smoke smell. Old facility. Not recommend at all
Great facility, amazing staff!
The actual hotel is nice. Lovely location and great food from the reaonably priced restaurant. When checking out however, I was charged for the room from my deposit. I had already paid for the room online and even though I told them at reception they didn't listen. I have since called them twice and spoken to the company I booked with. Still no answer or refund. Don't book before you go or you may have the same problem
As I am an 'old China hand' I am very familiar with, and fond, of Chinese food, therefore I really enjoyed the Chinese buffett offerings. The hotel's location is very convenient for people wishing to be a central location in the 'old' city with close proximity to Taishan and other scenic sites, also for government for those on official visits. The hotel is generally very clean and well maintained. The entire exterior structure was being repainted whole I was there. The staff are genuine and welcoming in all areas of guest contact. But foreign guests need to be relealistic about language ability of front line service staff. Duty Managers and most Reception staff English is very adequate. Chief Concerige has good English.
In my room at least, while it was very clean, some of the FF&E are probably from the hotel's inception 18 years ago. Thus even with the best of intentions, some features will need renovation, for example faucets, bed sets, lighting and TV systems.
The breakfast was complete and nice. It is of course outside the big cities, so it is more difficult to expect Western food. It was very busy, but in fact that is nice.
When we arrived at 10 Pm, the restaurant and the bar was closed at 9:30, we did not like that. Then you need to go to the room, it is not very nice.
N/A
If the common corridor walkway is smoke free will be good, cause can smell some one is smoking specially at the lift lobby.
Good location close to the mountain, the food was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms were modern and comfortable as well.
Not the cheapest I suppose, but it was worth the money
Clean and great location
Restaurants were not open or nice, but within walking distance found a great Japanese restaurant
Look the place was good, a little dated but the breakfast and dinner were incredible. Staff were very friendly and helping, excluding what I have written below.
I was double charged for my room, long story short I had to get my money back from booking.com because the hotel made me pay for my room again! I had explained to the girl at the front desk that but she assured me that what I paid to Booking.com was just my depsoit ( it wasnt, it was the whole amount). Anyway after dealing with booking.com I got my money back from them, I appreciate how quick and easy it was resolved through them though. Due to this issue I wouldn't personally stay there again if I were to return to Tai'an but seeing that no one else has had this issue that I can see maybe others won't have this happen in the future?
場所も良いし、サービスも素晴らしい。
- Great location if you start climbing Tai Mountain from Tianwaicun. - Friendly, professional hotel staff! Gave us suggestions and answered a lot of my questions for the mountain and the commute, before our arrival. - Comfortable bed! - Decent prices!
- This is an old hotel. You can tell that when you walk in but the stay was very comfortable! Nothing to complain about really.
Rooms were very large, clean and with all facilities, including bathtub and shower. The four seasons restaurant self service is an up to standard restaurant, with very kind and helpful staff. The other restaurant, the Chinese one, was really excellent. Furthermore the swimming pool and the sport centre were of high level as well. Since the very beginning we had an excellent impression of Ramada, thanks to Ms Liu Ella, at the reception, who could speak very good English and did her utmost to help and give precious pieces of advice for our trips in the area. She's very kind and professional. We did enjoy our stay at Ramada's and we recommend it if you intend to visit Tai'An.
They have a lot of facilities and two restaurants. The four seasons is reasonable and tends to adapt to all different tastes; the Chinese Restaurant is very good, more expensive but it is worth to go: their Beijing Kaoya (Duck) is exceptionally good and the chef sliced it next to your table. Amazing! A special thank for my excellent stay goes to Ms. Liu Ella, working at the reception: she's extraordinary professional, helpful and did everything was possible to make my trip to Qufu and the Tai Shan the best possible. I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Tai'An.
Not very happy with the price. The web site was 84 Australia dollar. But when you really pay which will add more money. This is first time happened in my all booking. They should put total money on the web site.
localization, comfort, space of the room was very good
the choice of meals at breakfast was not as expected and surely not as few years ago
每次都是在这里住
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during a business trip in July. The hotel and rooms are old and the service is medium. Maybe this was once a top level hotel but not anymore. I would not go back if i was again in the region.
It is really close to Taishan and there are lots of restaurants and massage shops to enjoy. And inside of hotel rooms are clean. Also staffs are so nice to us. So I really satisfied. Thank you.
Excellent hotel, good customer service, delicious dinner (oriental, western, seafood) and buffet, spacious and clean room, good room service. Great value. Nicely situated close to the mountains. Good bike rental available.
Noise. Low moving personal. Breakfast area is like a cantine, with Chinese travellers coming in overcoats with suitcase to the restaurant!!!!!! Only the rooms are clean (even very clean as for a hotel in China, ane beds comfortable
We stayed at the Ramada for two nights to climb Tai Shan. The hotel is located near the mountain, but the start of the central route up the mountain is still around 3.5km away. This means if you want to climb via the central route, you might need a taxi to get there. The hotel is large and reasonably modern. We were positively surprised by the room, as it was large and well appointed. Staff at the reception spoke surprisingly good English and were able to communicate efficiently. The property is a solid 4-star hotel. We tried the Dongzun Court restaurant in the hotel but were a bit disappointed. Even though service tried very hard to please, we had a very strange experience. Food was OK, but overall very expensive. Next time, I would probably eat outside the hotel. Overall, a solid hotel near Tai Shan. Just do not eat at the restaurant.
Stayed for 2 nights so we could walk up the mountain Tai Shan. It is a nice enough hotel but nothing out of the ordinary. The location is good for access to the mountain and the staff were helpful in helping us organise transport for the walk. Tai an can be difficult to get taxi's if English is your only language, so it was good having all of the places of interest written down in Chinese which the hotel staff did for us.
Quite friendly staff but they would benefit from more English-speaking staff.
Overall great experience. Near Mountain Tai, 15 mins walk to shuttle service into sightseeing area
This was billed as a 5 star hotel. It would barely make it as a 3 star by Western standards today. It probably was once a five star when built. The hotel hardly has any guests, the service is terrible. The carpeting and beds have deteriorated. Also, the design makes going to and from the rooms at difficult with long walks and multiple elevators. The breakfast was ok at best. If you are staying in the area, it is best that perhaps you go to Qufu for Confucius that you stay at the Qufu Shangri-la there which is a beautiful hotel. If you need a hotel in this region another travel agent had recommended the Wanda Plaza Hotel. On a positive note, you can have a nice walk in their gardens on the side. It is a very nice respite from the hotel itself.
Everyone has a smile and a warm hello. The rooms are excellent with a great location. I have traveled in many countries and the Shandong people are some of the friendliest in the world. If you only speak English and do not get what you want here, it is because they did not understand your request, they always want to help and please you. Just take the time to make sure they understand and you will have a wonderful stay here.
場所は市内から少し離れるが、泰山の麓にあり、よかったです。
Best hotel in this area/city. Not really 5* but good enough. surprisingly had draft beer in bar outside. Internet could be better. Main attraction is Mt TAI. Silly to call 1x rail station "Ta ian" & other "tai shan" although both are "TAI" city stations &within 3kms of each other but this is China.
Stayed here for two nights in order to see Mt. Tai. Hotel is fine--I would say a 4-star, not five. Rooms are quite nice--but wifi is iffy and as an English speaker I would have appreciated more English TV--but BBC and Natl Geo was fine. The fitness center/pool are really not part of the hotel and you have to walk down the hill to get to them, so if that is your motivation I would reconsider. Food was adequate but only adequate not great. Setting is very interesting and pretty. Building is quite a labyrinth as built on side of hill. All in all a decent, clean, affordable nice hotel but not luxury. It is very close to the Mt. Tai bus station!!
Hotel is nicely situated beneath the mountain and sitting next to the municipal building. There is a piece of the tai mountain rock in front of the hotel. The Rock is symbolized the Fong Sui of the hotel. The municipal building is pretty elaborately designed with computer controlled water fountains. I think Ramada in China is one or two levels above the typical Ramada in North America. Anyway as you can see from the picture, the room is roomy with in room desk, chairs, bar and upscale bathroom facilities. The dinner buffet inside the hotel is pretty good. A walk around the area with the view of the tai mountain is very refreshing. Enjoy!!
Rather a nice position under the mountains spoiled by a mist rather. A quick stopover at the edge of town. It seems that China is party mad, the ballroom was busy with a business party for the workers having a good time, good natured people happy in their own skins! Hotel was fine, breakfast better than most, rooms usual big size and clean, wifi a little dodgy but adequate.
inadequate... feels more like a 3 star experience... a little shabby and tired... average food and service... not enough English speakers on the staff, insular and no real understanding of the needs of an international traveler... if you want a genuine 5 star hotel, look at the newly opened Wanda Realm which is much, much better...
What you have to understand is that Ti'an is a city that gets a lot of tourists, but 99% of them are Chinese. So there just isn't the call for English or for amenities on a western standard. But, they DO try. As one example, when our friends had to bail at the last minute, the staff worked hard and successfully, (with one phone call assist from us), to help us cancel what was originally a no refunds reservation. The room is large and well appointed, including a docking station with an IPhone 6 mount, but the air conditioning is more notional than real. All the staff are pleasant and genuinely eager to be helpful but not one is genuinely fluent in English. So be patient. They do want to help. Be willing to point on the menu, (which does have English). Double check understanding about things like whether they have really understood where to ask the cab to take you. Tips: take hotel cards with you when you go out so you can show them to a cabbie when you want him to take you back.
Staff was bending over backwards to be helpful. Must realize it is a more rural area so need a bit more patience. The restaurant had a brilliant lunch buffet. Did the mountain hike well worth the trip. Ae
It's reasonable prices to stay long n short. Located very convinient so almost good to stay for travellers. Room conditions - cleaned but not crystal cleaned. Very spacious like other Chinese's hotels. Breakfast - little bit a poor ( just continental style only ) i got disappointed I had a lunch once at the chinese restaurant at the hotel but also got disappointed tasty. (It's much better street foods which is in front of hotel ) I could've enjoyed almost but staffs are barely speaked english. Even restaurant staffs couldn't get understand what the ice means. Perrier with ice or sprite with ice......... She just served opened the bottle. They don't have english menu. But u can speak chinese go there n enjoy one because the prices are reasonable n taste is also reasonable. The other night we enjoyed the day trip n big party so we needed more foods n drinks. I tried to order to room service for something but no one can speak english. Even one word got understood (Honestly i can't speak english well n i'm not working for foreigners which i don't need to speak fluently. But i think they must be pro for served foreigners.) Air conditioning worked poorly. Setted 10'c till last day but not cooled ( after shower we got a sweat again every time) I cant compare other hotels in Taian, I only stayed this one. It is only my experience.(it's first time to visit in Taian)
Probably one of the biggest let down is what people write about this hotel. The only good thing is a location. Poorly run, no service and finding someone willing to help you is impossible now is nothing but a conversation hole.
Ramada hotels are generally good hotels. The one in Tai'an has also nice clean and comfortable rooms. I stayed in that hotel plenty of times. But it has also a very unique labirynt-like design, which makes you to calculate up to 5 minutes to get to the breakfast room or meeting point at the entrance. The hotel is also quite often a place of some business events or gathering of social societies, so it can be fully booked. In such days the breakfast room in the morning is loud and crowded, the servants are not able to assist you on time. My suggestion - try to come for breakfast before 7:30, i.e. before time when most of the Chinese guests prefer to have breakfast.
It's a perfect place if you're in Tai'an for Mount Tai, since you can walk to Tianwaicun where you can take the bus to the middle of the mountain. The breakfast is good, the room is clean and quiet. The receptionists couldn't pull out our reservation info and had to ask me too many questions and make several phone calls. The room is a bit far from the entrance of the hotel, the gym is awful though, 2 of the 3 treadmills were broken, dirty dumbbells. Swimming cap is required to use the pool.
Staff got us a non smoking room, a rarity in China. They were also very helpful booking taxis and helping us plan our journey up the mountain. The rooms were fairly standard, clean. Room service couldn't cope with more than one dish, everything arrived cold. Otherwise, nice stay.
The location is not so good for start climbing the Mt. Taishan. But Hotel is not so bad and most of the staff are very kind and friendly in this hotel! Spa and pool are either nice so far.
Very good hotel, staff very friendly
I stayed here on business . Very nice room . Very clean and lovely staff . Would definately stay there again.
Suitable for my purpose.
Staff were helpful and gave clear advice about where we wanted to go and how to get there. Enjoyed the stay at Ramada Hotel Tai'an very much! Would stay again!
clean but if you like to work out in the morning guy is not open till 10 am. do not eat at the hotel if you have any other option
Wonderful hotel. Better than expected. Luxury at a bargain price. Terrific and friendly staff. Best place to stay in Tai'an (near Taishan Mountain and Dai Temple).
