Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Das Hotel ist sehr günstig zur Altstadt gelegen, deshalb wurde es von uns gewählt. Ein typisches Businesshotel, nicht individuell, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Unser Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten war klein, aber das ebenfalls kleine Bad hatte eine sehr gute Dusche mit extra einfacher Bedienung. Überall genügend Ablagen! Das Frühstück war vielseitig und schmeckte, es gab vielfältiges Obst und sehr gutes Brot, frisch gebacken! Wurst und Käse waren Standard. Die Butter war leider tiefgefroren.
Wir waren drei Nächte lang dort. Für mich war mein Bett viel zu hart, nach der ersten Nacht und Reklamation gab es umgehend eine Auflage für die Matratze. Das Problem schien bekannt.

Das Hotel ist in einem 60jahre Gebäude oder älter. Ziemlich hässlich. Das Frühstück war in einem Raum wo Renovierungsarbeiten während des Frühstücks durchgeführt wurden. Das Frühstück mit 25 € viel zu teuer.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026De ligging van het hotel: op loopafstand van een fijn park om onze hond uit te laten en tevens op loopafstand van de Altstadt met winkels, restaurants en terrassen. Publieke parkeergarage onder het hotel. De ontvangst bij de receptie: vlot en accuraat. Keurige kamer en hygiënische badkamer. De nazorg toen ik na vertrek ontdekte dat ik mijn privé hoofdkussen in de hotelkamer had achtergelaten. Het kussen werd keurig binnen een paar dagen thuis bezorgd. Een hele fijne ervaring! Nogmaals dank!

Zentral, aber an großer Straße gelegen. Wir hatten etwas Pech mit dem Zimmer (ein barrierefreies Familienzimmer) - beim Fahrstuhl und daher sehr laut, Bad schlecht gereinigt und das Bett (ein Klappsessel) war sehr sehr unbequem.

Sauberkeit des Badezimmers war mangelhaft: Duschbrause verkalkt, Trennscheibe schmutzig, Duschschwanne komplett abgenutzt. Hier würde ich bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel einfach mehr erwarten. 25€ für das Frühstück sind sehr gesalzen.

Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο – ιδανικό για εμάς που ταξιδεύαμε με το μωρό μας. Νιώσαμε απόλυτα άνετα και ήσυχοι. Θα επιστρέφαμε με χαρά και το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Room was very nice and spacious even with sofa bed set up. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. And as a bonus, our room looked out onto the Schlossberg and gave us a great view of the epic thunderstorm! Fantastic location for exploring Freiburg.
We weren’t able to use the screen sharing on the tv as only android enabled so another set up would be great.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026There was one lady on reception who was eventually really helpful and brought ice and a fan to our room to help with the heat and let us check another room to see if it would be cooler however the facilities aren't cut out for summer!
I didn't like the dismissive nature of the hotel desk staff and manager. The air con which is not air con but a central cooling system is not fit for purpose and whilst they might say it meets EU standards it didn't keep us cool. We couldn't sleep and felt quite unwell!

Das Parkhaus unter dem Hotel mit eigenem Lift bis zum Auto kostet leider 22€/24h. Es wäre toll wenn es hierfür eine Ermäßigung für Hotelgäste gäbe.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026I loved the attention to comfort, the spacious shower, carpeted room, air conditioning and extra pillow available in the cupboard. Also, the location is perfect, right next to the old town, main street and taxis. There are many bars and restaurants just on the doorstep, and the hotel bar has a charming terrace.
The air conditioning was not very strong and since you had to be in the room with your card for it to work, it took a while for the room to cool down. It wasn't a huge issue.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026La ubicación es muy buena,el personal amable y servicial,las camas y almohadas son cómodas.Estuvimos en una habitación que no era ruidosa.Se descansaba muy bien..El aire acondicionado hizo su función.Pensábamos que iba a ser muy ruidoso por comentarios de otros huéspedes en booking pero no fue nuestro caso.Dejamos nuestro coche en el aparcamiento que está debajo del hotel y fue todo un acierto.El aparcamiento nos salió a 34€ por dos días (Stay Day),como estábamos en el centro pues no nos hizo falta el coche para movernos.Ibamos con nuestra nieta pequeña y tener el coche cerca era imprescindible.Hemos estado muy agusto.La próxima vez volveremos a este hotel.
La habitación es un poco pequeña para una cama grande y una cuna…así que si viajas con un niño y duerme en el sofá cama que hay en la habitación,ten cuidado porque no tendrás mucho espacio libre.A mostos no nos importó mucho porque salíamos por la mañana y no volvíamos hasta la noche.Por lo demás,todo estuvo muy bien.Como sugerencia,estaría bien que la moqueta que cubre tanto los pasillos como la habitación se limpiara a fondo con una buena aspiradora de agua.Nosotros utilizamos para andar por la habitación unas zapatillas de estar por casa…

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026De locatie was ideaal inbed altstadt, bij de grote winkelstraat. Een parkeer garage onder het hotel wasideaal. We hebben heerlijk geslapen en ontbeten.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Spielplatz in der Nähe (wir waren mit 10jährigem Kind unterwegs) Klimaanlage war vorhanden und vorzüglichen Frühstück wurde angeboten.
Bei den Außentemperaturen wäre ein Kühlschrank angebracht... Duschgelbehälter war leer und wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht aufgefüllt.

Ambiente com odor desagradável, tivemos momentos em que trocaram apenas as toalhas mas não arrumaram e repuseram os sabonetes e shampoo. Sem presença de frigobar, no qual inviabilizava ter água gelada ou armenzar qualquer alimento. Não possuía nem ferro de passar roupas.

Le faltaba limpieza. La moqueta acumulaba mucho polvo y yo que soy alérgica lo noté muchísimo. Además al llegar a la habitación nos faltaban las almohadas, las pedimos en recepción, una de ellas estaba manchada, quitamos la funda para que en la limpieza de la habitación nos la cambiasen y no lo hicieron, nos tocó volver a la recepción a por una limpia

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Good location, very close to the old town, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. The room had two doors, what was convenient to block the noise from the corridor. The sofa bed was also very useful for my daughter to sleep.
The air conditioning system isn’t powerful enough, so the room was quite warm, even at night. My daughter wasn’t feeling well in the morning, so we decided to stay until noon in the room, but from 9am, there was a lady, very inconveniently, knocking on the door at every hour for cleaning.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Die Lage vom Hotel ist perfekt. Parken direkt unter dem Hotel. Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich persönlich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, alleine schon wegen der Lage und der Parkmöglichkeit.
Ich kann mich persönlich mit dem Check-in ab 15 Uhr nicht anfreunden, aber das ist ja überall so. Aber alles andere war für mich zufriedenstellend. Keine negative Erfahrung gemacht.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut,man ist schnell in der Stadt.
Das Zimmer und die Flure waren sehr schmutzig. Der Teppichboden hat extrem unansehnliche Flecken. Diese müssten dringend ersetzt werden. Eine Reinigung wird nichts mehr nützen. Der Rest des Zimmers war auch nicht sehr sauber,die Löffel der Kaffeetassen waren benutzt und auch sonst war es sehr dreckig. Der Teppich hat den gesamten Eindruck sehr gestört.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Der Herr beim Check-in war super nett und hilfsbereit(z.B. Wegbeschreibung zum Bahnhof). Man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Nette Hotelbar mit kleiner Terrasse mit Schatten. Bei der Hitze wichtig echter Pluspunkt.
Die seltsame Standard-E-Mail vor dem Check-in mit der namenlose Anrede "Dear". Sah aus wie Phishing, war es aber nicht.
