Good hotel, friendly staff. Very comfortable room

The hotel appears not to have been maintained lately. This was my home away from home for years, and I would still go back there, but I found it disappointing that the dining facilities have been reduced. The coffee shop used to serve buffet meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now it is only breakfast. Only the Chinese restaurant is available for lunch. The elevator needs to be operated in conjunction with the room key, which not always works.

I got FOOD POISONING in the hotel from the breakfast I ordered. This is astonishing from a 5-star hotel!!! The staff was supportive in alleviating the issue, but still, I rate this place as a 1 out of 10. I would never return!

I had a great experience staying at this hotel in Ningbo. There were several restaurants on-site and a breakfast buffet every morning with plenty of options to choose from. One of the best parts was the special internet access that allowed me to use services like Google, which was super helpful during my trip. The service was excellent—my room was cleaned daily, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I also had two meetings with my suppliers at the hotel, and it worked out perfectly. The atmosphere was calm and not too crowded, so it felt like having a private dinner. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!

I get a good service/help in front desk in check in of Mrs Rose Hotel manager. I get time to try Spa dept after a long travel Mrs Deng Yi do a perfect really good spa area. Good Hotel in good area.

I stayed about one month in 2024 here, and then one week in March 2025. The building is relatively old, but fairly well maintained; e.g., the gym machines are old, but work still fine. By the way, some local gym members exercise without their shirt or shoes on, which is "disturbing'', but the people managing the gym do nothing about the problem, despite that I pointed out the problem a number of times. They have a big pool (about 25m long), which is rare these days. Also their sauna is good as it is hot enough with a water-spraying faucet. The location is good, although the main city attractions are across a river, which one can get to with taxi or subway (only a couple of stops away), and there is a subway station close to the hotel. A big shopping center is nearby. The hotel staff members are all very responsive and eager to help, including the front desk and concierge. As a Bonvoy platinum member, the best part is the club lounge and the staff there including William---I only managed to remember his name, but had their name badges been bigger, I would have been able to name more members who are all very helpful and diligent. The food and drinks there are fine. If you stay for a long time, Sheraton Ningbo provides the best value for money, because their rates are about 20-30% lower than the other Bonvoy hotels such as Westin or Marriott, and yet the rooms are good size (about 35-40 m2?), and they provide laundry credits (100 Yuan per day) in club rooms that is cumulative. So, staying in a club-level room, food, drink and laundry problems are all solved. I will come to Ningbo for a long-term stay again, and definitely, Sheraton Ningbo will be my home away home, as well as an office.

It's a huge hotel with grandiose spaces, therefore it’s never crowded (I booked this hotel two times). I don't like the soft carpeted marble design, but I have to admit, they didn't skimp on the construction. The kitchen is great! The stuff is kind and helpful.

A little bit oldie but golden feeling. I believe it’s time to renew. Hire a proper designer change materials and feeling. It’s not the best atmosphere, if the view to the street level is a dirty flat roof. It is so awful. I don’t understand the point, not to spend a little to make it green (plants) The front entrance is dirty, small(compared to the size of the hotel and spaces).. Also a designer, some new material, and a lot of cleaning needed.

Card system is very old and outdated, sometimes you can’t make the elevator move, sometimes you can’t get in your room. When I can get in the room I called the receptionist, and she said yes someone will come, I wait 10-15 minutes and no one come. Have to go down to make them fix it. And it’s not the one time problem. So staff is the problem too. Gym is very old.

Great location in Ningbo’s CBD, close to bars restaurants and amenities- 15min by bus to the Railway station. Staff are all awesome, emailing me in advance to welcome me, arranged cake for my bday, organised a lovely Exec Club Level Room with amazing views. The breakfast was fantastic, and the service and food/ drink quality in the Exec Lounge was outstanding - special shout-out to William and the other lovely ladies smiling their way through the evening happy hour. We loved our stay and would love to come come back, highly recommended

This hotel is the true number 1 of Ningbo 5 star hotels. Same as 13 years ago when I came to Ningbo for the 1st time and today when I stay with my family. The staff here are just exceptional. They make the whole difference. From the sales team, guest service, consiege, housekeeping and fnb...... I don't know how come the team here is so positive and welcoming. There must be something special for sheraton Ningbo. Especially recommended when you stay more than a few nights. To see the real comfort of this place.

Everyone is very helpful and keen to make your stay pleasant! I have stayed at this hotel for over 100 nights and could never imagine staying elsewhere.

Although the decor and furniture is a bit dated, it is still a very clean and good hotel. Great breakfast spread as well. Good for business stay as there are lots of open space for discussions and short distance to tourist places as well. They have a good indoor heated swimming pool which is awesome.

Although was overcrowd due to Spring festival staff was able to find solutions timely and made our stay comfortable.

One more coffee machine would help for breakfast service

We had another excellent stay here for my son's 9th birthday. Among all the Ningbo hotels, this has always been our favourite. Although a little older than others, the staff her have always been exceptional. Our most recent stay was no different: the outstanding staff outdid themselves with a beautiful suite for us (SNA applied and accepted), and balloons, lights and a birthday cake for a very happy 9-year-old! I don't know how many times we stayed here in 2023, but certainly more than ten. It has been one of our favourite for a long time, and continues to be so. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. It has been a great experience with my recent stay at Sheraton, coming back after 3 years, with new family member. The service was really fascinating. Food and drink at lounge were super. And it’s great to see the updates from here and there in the room. Ningbo Sheraton will always be at top of my list when visiting the area.

It’s a nice clean hotel, it’s very international and is opposite a number of western bars. I would recommend it my only discontentment is the breakfast they don't really offer a basic Western breakfast its very much a Chinese spread. No scrambled egg Bake beans are not good wrong taste and cold No Western sausage No mushrooms ( most days ) Bacon not good deep fried rubber No black pudding Tomatoes very strange Maybe worth training one staff in western breakfast and have a separate section

Book an executive room with use of the executive lounge with free drinks at 4.30 to 8pm. Thanks to Williiam in the exec lounge who looked after me big time. Since covid very few western guests at the hotel. This has resulted in new staff and hardly any speaking English. Thats the same for all the hotels we visited on this two week trip. The hotel was very quiet with no live music that used to be here before. Slightly cheaper than the Shangrilla.

We enjoyed our second stay at the Ningbo Sheraton very much!! From check in to check out, very enjoyable! We had a clean and gorgeous room with a great view of the city lights!! We especially enjoyed our time in the Executive Lounge each evening.. William and the staff were so attentive and paid attention to every detail. We would come back, just to visit them again. Thank you all, for the wonderful stay😊

I have stayed here many times before Covid. First time back and all guests are now Chinese and not many staff speak English. only one choice of white wine and it's too sweet for me. Italian restaurant still good and executive lounge. Shangri-la hotel is now a better choice.

After 4 years, I returned to this hotel and was pleasantly surprised that it still provides excellent and high quality service. The staffs at the club lounge were friendly and courteous. The foods at breakfast and happy hour were excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Great living experience at this Sheraton Ningbo hotel. Nice location, warm hearted services and good quality of executive lounge offerings impressed me much. Will definitely come back for future vacation

Centrally located always my first choice . Recommended to book the lounge access to have more choices also for international travellers. Roomsand service are nice and in waking distance many attractions can be seen. Next time I will stay here again

The front desk personnel are simply amazing. It's the best I have encountered in all my travels in China. I got a nice upgrade to a suite. Rooms are a bit dated but very well kept. The only reason I am not giving a 5/5 rating is because of the breakfast room. It is situated in the lobby and the temperature was so hot that I could not sit there for more than 10 minutes. It made for a very uncomfortable breakfast.

A great hotel for business travelers. Clean room, good breakfast and convenient location.

The only complaint I have is the lighting in the room. I stayed at a Club Room on 27th floor. There were not enough lightings along the windows causing me to struggle to pack up my bags at night.

Always book this hotel when in Shanghai. Good location in safe area. Enough shops around the hotel. Fancy shops, Gucci, Burberry etc. Employees are very helpful. Good variety of food at breakfast. Hotel rooms are spacious. My room had an Nespresso

Currently in China on a business trip. We’ve always stayed here as it’s convenient, well priced etc. Generally it’s a nice - clean enough, cheap. However, we returned to our room yesterday after an insanely busy day working and it absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke! As non smokers this was horrid. We were far too tired to complain and then have to be moved and it was only for one night. Really left a sour taste at the end of the stay though! Heaven knows who was smoking in our room though!!
