Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort

We had a fabulous time at last palomas resort! The room was excellent in every way, the resort and beach are fantastic, everything is clean and very fancy, we are excited to come back again! We also really loved the guys at the pool bar- Enrique, Brandon, and a few others, did everything they could to make sure we were happy. They even helped us arrange a welcome cocktail party for our team as they arrived. We had an especially great interaction with Juan Q at the front desk - we had 19 people, 3 rooms, 4 cars, and 2 different credit cards for a business conference. It could have been a nightmare just checking in! But Juan was amazing, he got us all checked in right away, and explained everything so clearly. It was a perfect first encounter for a really great weekend overall.

The room was clean and nice. The property is big and was somewhat difficult to find the phase/room as they lack signage but all good. They definitely need more parking. There wasn’t enough, we had to look around like 15 mins that was close enough to our room. Staff was great. Previas of the food and drinks are a little higher than usual.

Balcony was peaceful with lounge chairs and a 4-6 person table. The view was stunning. Swim up bar was a lot of fun and a great place to hang out socially. The beach was lovely spending 3 days going between the ocean and the pools.

The property was probably was beautiful ocean view. The staff could have better customer service. The two restaurants on the property food is not very good..

The apartment is quite outdated. The toilet water runs continuously, the microwave doesn’t work, and there weren’t enough outdoor seats for five guests. Additionally, there were no games available in the apartment.

This is a real resort and they take care of their guests.

Overall experience was 10/10, staff members were nice and helpful. Room was in excellent condition, we had a great pool and ocean view.

Best kid activities like piñata, loteria, and happy hour!!! Best time ever!! We will be back again! We come every fall break

Great experience throughout - starting with Juan Q at check in. He was very friendly, efficient, and added bonus for us - he spoke perfect English (unfortunately our Spanish is very limited) The property is kept very clean, staff is constantly cleaning. The pool bar has great food and good service. Underground secured parking another plus. We love our frequent stays at this property!

Safe, clean, quiet, comfortable. The beach was the best. Away from everything, excellent option to rest.

We had a one bedroom condo very close to the beach in one of the buildings that is at the front. We had a beautiful overlook of the pool and the beach. We received daily room service , towel change and cleaning. There was a little hiccup on our arrival. The gate guard wouldn’t let us in since we did not have a room number only a reservation Number , it took some troubleshooting however, the rest of our stay definitely made up for it. We parked in an underground safe garage, there’re also always a few taxis at the front by the gate. coffee shop for morning drinks and pastries. Pool bar has a decent menu for lunch. Didn’t eat at any restaurants within the property but apparently there are 2 on site

The view was so beautiful and relaxing.

We have stayed at this property a lot over the past 10 years. This stay was different. They have made many repairs and upgrades to the property. The restaurant food menu was greatly improved and as a result, we ate at the property

So nice

We were under the impression that it was all inclusive. The expedia listing seemed as if everything was inclusive. Also we were denied access to the properity when we first arived, because we didnt have the "correct email" we had to park outside the property then walk to reception then back to our car after being confirmed. The checkin process was very slow due to lack of employees. Besides that we had a wonderful experience and staff was friendly and courteous.

I received a smaller room than what I paid for. Seems like every time the property conditions are deteriorating. The washer was broken and I couldn’t use it. The ice dispenser in the fridge didn’t work either. The AC seemed like not cooling enough. Otherwise, amenities and staff are very nice!

I recently stayed at this property, which presents itself as a five-star resort. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what one would expect at that level. Upon entering my room, I was disappointed to find it not only unclean, but also infested with roaches. This was both unsettling and unacceptable, especially from a resort of this standard. While the staff I encountered were courteous, the condition of the room overshadowed any positives. Cleanliness and comfort should be the foundation of a guest’s stay, and sadly, this property fell short in both regards. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues promptly. Guests choose a five-star resort expecting quality, safety, and peace of mind. With improvements in housekeeping and pest control, this resort has the potential to provide the exceptional experience it promises.

Beach sand had broken glass bottles. Beach sand wasn’t clean at all. Full of shells and even glass that I took to the front desk. No umbrellas on swimming pools for 3 consecutive days. Requested umbrellas twice with no answers from any supervisor or administrator. Last day was a lot of noisy drunk look alike gang member people. Elevators are suffocating with no A/C. City infrastructure horrible. Stop signs were hidden old and faint paint. Some with graffiti. Restaurants limited options and expensive prices. I paid less for a beef cut on Tucson than on the Port. Will start looking for other beaches destinations other than this beat up town.

Overall very relaxing stay. Check in is a lottle slow and a times confusing. Check in agent had trouble on reservation. Got resolved but check in was longer than expected

Nice place to relax

California vacationers: Everything you want in a high end resort without a huge price tag. This was my first trip to Penasco and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to book a trip. Beautiful views of the sea of Cortez. Nice clean property very well kept. Rooms have ice cold a/c are cleaned daily with full kitchen and all the amenities of a condo . One thing is no tv at the pool bar to watch football but other than that I couldn’t find anything wrong with this property

F1002 Check in took about an hour with 1 front desk employee on Labor Day weekend. I was very disappointed about the express check in you guys offer, it seemed like a waste of time. Everything I did online I had to do again in person. Water pressure in my shower was awful and cold and the matter was brought up to the front desk, someone was sent to the room to fix, and was told the matter was resolved. Note that I stayed at your resort many times in the past including the penthouse, so I think I know what your water pressure would be. My issue was not resolved. On top of that the bed was broken, even turn you made, was a loud noise, it didn’t matter how slow you turned it was just noisy. The front desk couldn’t do anything about the bed all they said that they could just add more cushion to it, I was in disbelief, I had never experience this treatment at your resort I was supposed to be relaxed, and this was a nightmare. Finally went to your customer service to see if that would be any better and you guys had a lady named Teresa She was no help if anything she had a bad attitude, and and the most I was done for me was I was moved from phase 2, to phase one which I was very mad about. The room I got was very outdated and very small compared to my room I had at the beginning. Went back down to talk to Teresa and after all that the most she can do is give me two free hours after checkout and I didn’t even use that because I had church. The too I was moved to was A206 I have lots of family that loves this resort, but after I shared this experience, I doubt they would want to take the chance and risk going through what I went through. I believe you guys need to do better job at accommodating your guest, I was supposed to be relaxing, and I spent most of my time in your lobby.

The pools are super nice, and clean, the bedding super comfortable. On the other hand our condo didn't have usb phone chargers as others do, we got an older condo, that is probably why. The way they handle towels it's very inconvenient. But it's still my favorite place to stay in pen̈asco

Clean, safe, comfortable, fun and relaxing. Took 1 star off for complicated parking and one rude waiter but nothing major. Would stay again.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool stays open late until 10PM, so that was great! Town and non property restaurants are 10-15 minutes from the hotel. We only tried one restaurant and the food variety wasn’t great but they offer 20% discount for hotel guests and don’t forget to buy you PALOMA Bucks!!

Food was very expensive. The linens and towels in the property and swimming pool was very rough, I left complaint at the front desk . The drinks at the pool bar were very watery more ice than alcohol. Front desk didn’t have phone to communicate with the apartment’s communication was via WhatsApp

when we arrived the AC was not working in our unit, it was HOT & there was a horrible sewer smell. Also there was NO HOT WATER to shower our entire stay. Had to shower with cold water. Couldn't have our own cooler with water & ice for our kids & baby. You guys are excessive. Its not that serious. Will NEVER stay here again. You guys SUCK

This was a fantastic resort. The room was very spacious and clean. The room had an amazing view of the pools and beach. We were a family of three. The bed was very comfortable. My son slept in the pull out which was very comfortable as well. The lazy river was awesome. Just bring your own floaters. The staff was super friendly and attentive. There’s a restaurant in the property which we did not eat at but we did order food from the pool area bar. Decent selection and very tasty. Would highly recommend !

The service in the restaurants are a hit or miss type of situation. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are ample space . Internet is good. The common areas need a bit of more attention, especially in the cleaning. Straws on the ground or pool was gross. Beer cans scatter around the pools and or pool chairs was also gross.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff is rude. Unwilling to resolve issues. You're not allowed to get two towels per person at the pool. However, they make you sign saying you're going to pay $25 per towel that's not returned. They will only give you one. We waited four and a half hours for our room before we canceled our reservation and left. Never got our room. Never got to towels. Check in is at 4:00. They were cleaning the room at 9:00 a.m. we offered to pay more for early arrival. Everything we asked for was a NO. Asked for a manager and they said call customer service. Needless to say we left and did not stay there. Got right into Sonora Sun. Had four towels waiting in our room for us. I do not recommend staying at Las Palomas ever. We will never go back.

Relaxing area, beach front condominium with beautiful view to the pools and beach, few mins away from restaurants and Malecon, needs more food options, internet work great allow me to work fine.

Loved the atmosphere of Las Palomas, great access to the beach and all the pools of the different phases. There could be better options for breakfast, other than that we loved our stay.

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at Paloma's Hotel. Here’s a I made a reservation for Saturday, July 26th at 12 PM and arrived at the hotel at 12:30 PM. Before arriving, I called to confirm if my family could use the pool while waiting for our room to be ready, and they assured me it would be fine. Upon checking in, however, a representative named Melissa informed me that while my reservation was in the system, no building or room number was assigned. She advised me to call Hotels.com for assistance. I did reach out, but after several attempts, the only communication I could get was through a group chat with someone named Ricardo, which didn’t help. During this time, my child was crying and eager to go to the pool, and we ended up sitting in the lobby waiting for any updates. Melissa then directed us to customer service in the Phase 2 building, but I struggled to find my way there due to lack of clear instructions, which added to our frustration. This experience was incredibly disappointing for my family, and we lost valuable time that we were hoping to enjoy at the hotel. I would like to know how you can compensate us for the time lost due to these issues. Thank you.

Husband and I had a wonderful stay here. Room on the 1st floor walked right out to pool and beach. There was a bit of construction going on but was fixed before we left. They were fixing some stairs. Always had open beach chairs with shade. We stayed in section 2 and they had many kids at pool so we just went to section 1. It was a great week and had man wonderful memories. Felt safe and the bbq area was a plus as we got fresh shrimp and grilled ourselves one night. Had all the supplies we needed. Luckily I brought beach towels, they came in handy. The washer and dryer was a plus as well. If you’re having second thoughts… don’t. You’ll have a wonderful safe time.

I want to let everyone know that we will only be staying here for all future visits. The condo was amazing! We traveled with two toddlers, ages 2 & 4, and they had a blast. The pool so close to our unit. We stayed in Phase II and the swim up bar was great, along with the lazy river. We felt safe in and around the resort. I would highly recommend this to all who want to have a great stay in Rocky Point!!!

The resort is beautiful! The people are super friendly! The only improvement would be the room service.

The property was beautiful. We stayed in Phase III which is still under some construction around the pool area. Access to pools in all three phases is allowed so we used multiple pools. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious, definitely worth the upgrade. There is a coffee shop on property with great coffee and amazing desserts. Room service was fast and the food was good.

The condo was nice, however I would highly encourage the owner to install some blackout four gains since the bedroom faces the elevator and the lights that are on 24/7. The bed is also not in the beat conditions. Other than that nice stay!

Weekend getaway from Phoenix. We arrived Friday evening and enjoyed our stay. Property is always clean and everyone was friendly.

The rooms were nice and comfy and clean. They had a lazy river but you have to buy the tubes.

We had a great time, it was so relaxing and the pools were so nice. We took our 8 year old for her bday and she had the time of her life.

Beautiful beach with easy access. Room had all the amenities needed. Lazy river was my kid's favorite area. Amazing experience overall!

Condo is always clean. The only bad thing was housekeeping. The last previous times they leave our beds looking like we haven’t even slept in them. This time they were half way done, the other room with twin beds they only did one. They took our trash out which is great we appreciate it but left us with no bad for trash can or any extra bag.

The room was clean, spacious. And all the amenities were impecable. Construction areas around the pools.
