Super overpriced. The rooms are very outdated and poorly furnished, with cables sticking out of the wall underneath the light switch. The room also had a very unpleasant, musty smell. Overall, definitely not worth the price. Also, it took the receptionist 25 minutes to modify one small data on the invoice.

Location, beach club, room size, special attention for our anniversary, breakfast was great, room was very quiet.

At the wellness no space for massage! Noise at beach club, screaming children and drunk people!

Sauberkeit und Lage sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich

Einstieg in den See als auch in den Pool rutschig. Küche vor allem am Strand passt nicht ganz, Preis Leistung hinkt hier hinterher. 41€ für eine Reisschüssel mit etwas Chicken ist sehr übertrieben. Beim Frühstück wurden einige Bestellingenvergessen.

Perfektní poloha, blízko jezera, propojení klasiky s novým, krásně jsme si zaplavali ve venkovním bazénu i v jezeře. Výborná snídaně. Služby, přátelský personál.

Lage ist top, Zimmer sehr ansprechend, ruhig. Der Frühstücksservice war hervorragend, vielen Dank an die Damen, die uns stets umsorgten. Der SPA ist geräumig und sauber, die Rezeption unaufdringlich, aber präsent.

Der Gartenblick auf den Brutalismus moderner Architektur, der das Schlösschen im Zangengriff hält. Die Hand eines fleissigen Gärtners wird genauso schmerzlich vermißt, wie die handwerklichen Fähigkeiten eines Hausmeisters (siehe Bilder). Führen Sie um Gottes Willen keine lautstarken Debatten mit dem Housekeeping im Zimmer ... lieber das Downturning abwarten, man sieht von außen, wann die Gardine zugezogen wird, dann kann man sein Zimmer gefahr- und geräuschlos wieder betreten. Und bitte keine Reklamation bei der Direktion. Dann gibt es keinen Platz mehr im Restaurant und ihr Fahrzeug wird nicht vor dem Hoteleingang sondern irgendwo im OFF bereitgestellt und sie können ihr Gepäck im Dreck dorthin schleppen. Der Unterschied zwischen einem guten Hotel und der Spitzenhotellerie zeigt sich in Kleinigkeiten. Da ist im Vergleich zu Wettbewerbern noch deutlich Potential.

Mooi hotel met fantastische locatie en voorzieningen. Goed ontbijt met n goede service . Parkeren ook super geregeld .

Weinig , maar het is n prijzig hotel dus je mag je verwachtingen hoog stellen . Bv de beachclub daar wordt nog steeds aan handdoekje leggen gedaan . Op de vraag moeten we reserveren? Nee hoor is geen probleem … wel dus . Vele lege ligbedden , die ook leeg blijven , maar nee want die zijn gereserveerd?? Nogmaals je betaald hier 850 per nacht. ..dus ja daar verwacht men wat voor.

Im Hotelzimmer auf dem Balkon war das Gelände schmutzig. In Beach Club waren die Polster mit Schimmel. Ich würde mir wünschen in der Preisklasse, dass man eine Kleinigkeit bekommt. Ein willkommen Brief oder eine Schokolade, so wie bei allen in der Preisklasse ist. Im Beach Club wenn man ins Wasser geht, gibt es keine Warnung, dass nach den Stiegen gleich tief runter geht, man geht und fällt gleich ins Wasser.

We chose this hotel because of the wonderful memories we had from staying here a few years ago, when we celebrated my wife’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. The service back then was exceptional, which is why we decided to return to celebrate two very special milestones: my wife’s 55th birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment. Although the hotel had been informed in advance about the occasion, our table at the beach restaurant was not ready when we arrived. We had to wait while it was being prepared, and the only table arranged for us was under a damaged canopy that could not be closed. When it started raining, we had to interrupt our celebration and move to another table. What disappointed us even more was the complete lack of response from the management. The restaurant manager never came to apologize or acknowledge what had happened, despite knowing it was a special celebration. Our friends had arranged a birthday cake for us. After dinner, we discovered that several pieces had already been taken from it, yet nobody even offered us the remaining cake to take with us. After checking out, I sent a detailed email describing the situation. More than two full days have now passed, and I have still received no response. Even more surprisingly, when we spoke to the reception during checkout, it became clear that our email had not even been read. I would like to make one important exception: the entire beach service team was excellent. Every member of the beach staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. They did a great job throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the lack of attention and accountability from the management completely overshadowed their excellent work. It is truly disappointing to see how much the level of service has declined since our previous visit.

Velden is a small summer resort for Europeans on shore of the Wörtersee. The lake is very peaceful and pretty, its water is warm. During the XVII century a noble man decided to build himself a house on a huge track of land on the lake shore. The house was later enlarged to a prestige mansion painted in the Schönbrunn fashion. After several owners and enlargements the mansion was converted into a hotel at the end of the XIX century. Although there are many traces of the original building, the temptation of using all the available real estate area, produced another enlargement of the hotel, this time in a brutalistic modern architecture style surrounding the whole complex. This last decision, from my point of view, ruined the hotel from the outsize. You can choose to have a room in the original mansion or in the brutalistic block. We had an oversized suite in the original part consisting of a living room, terrace and gigantic bedroom and compartimented marble bathroom with sauna. WiFi and AC worked well. Bedsheets are very good quality. Bath towels could be larger. A fantastic Spa with an indoor and outdoor pool plus gym and relax areas provide a pleasant stay. On the lakeshore a beach club with another pool and restaurant and bar completes the experience. Breakfast is served buffet style with many options. Staff are very kind and well trained. Sadly the complex has become huge. Any remnants of an intimate hotel have gone.

Altes Schloss direkt an der Seepromenade Velden, modernst renoviert, wunderbarer Garten mit Pool, Innenpool, Ballsaal als Frühstücksraum, große Auswahl an hochqualitativen Speisen zum Frühstück

Unglaublich schönes Hotel. Perfekte Lage. Geschlossener Park zum Spazierengehen. Unglaublich bemühtes Personal dass einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abliest. Herrlicher SPA, großer Beachbereich erreichbar durch einen Tunnel vom Schlosshotel. Große Garage. Unglaublich tolles Frühstück. Betten sehr gut. Klimaanlage sehr gut.

Lampe bei Bett hat nicht funktioniert. Ein weiterer Kosmetikkübel im Bad wäre von Vorteil. Außerdem ein wenig mehr Kosmetikzubehör wäre von Vorteil.

המלון אלגנטי ויוקרתי, מתחם הספא יפהפה נקי מושקע ונעים ביותר, חוף הרחצה Club Beach, מסודר מאוד עם שרות נפלא, הרבה מיטות ושמשיות החדר דלוקס- מודרני באגף החדש היה גדול ומרווח מפנק ומאובזר עד הפרט האחרון, ארוחות הבוקר מצוינות עם שרות יוצא מהכלל. צוות המלון מרגע ההגעה היה אדיב ושירותי ביותר.

אהבנו הכל !

Sehr großzügige Zimmer mit Bad direkt mit Blick auf den Rosengarten und seitlich Seeblick. Frühstück auf der Terrasse und auch im Ballsaal einmaliges Ambiente. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Pools gehörten uns fast alleine.

Veľmi dobrá centrálne poloha, hneď pri vode, priamo z hotela prechod na pláž, krásny bazén s lehátkami, dobrý vstup do jazera, výborný servis a výborná ponuka občerstvenia. Hotelová izba bola priestranná s krbom . Personál hotela mimoriadne milý a ústretový.

hrozná káva :-) a ešte hroznejších šálkach, nerozumiem ako takýto 5 star hotel moze toto podávať. Hotel dával k dispo tašku s uterákmi a slapkami na pláz, ktoré sa dali kúpiť za "poplatok" , no pri tej cene za izbu si myslim ze tu tašku s nakupnou cenou 50 centov už mohli hosťom aj venovať

-kein WLAN im Zimmer, eigentlich ein no go. Überall klappte es und bis vor die Zimmertür, dann war Schluss. Wäre mit eine WLAN Repeater einfach zu lösen. Kein Whirlpool, das vermissten wir im Spa

Es alojarse en un Castillo . Miren las fotos. Es aún mejor . La ubicación insuperable.

Everything was wonderful

This is rightly Classed as one of the World's top Hotels. The Historical building is in spotless Condition and a wonderful place to stay overlooking the Lake. My Room was very spacious and extremely comfortable for a Solo Traveller. The rain shower superb ! The Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with all You could wish for. The Spa facilities, Swimming pool and Gym were of the highest quality. You can of course easily swim in the Lake. Extensive Car parking available at a cost, but essential if visiting by Car. I had not previously visited the area and look forward to a return visit.

I was fortunate to visit in May when Cost of stay is more reasonable. It is as, You would expect, more expensive in the Summer Season. All the Lighting is by touch screen - so attention required for the less Tech savvy amongst us !! The Electric Curtains do not make the room completely dark - so if You are affected an Eye mask would be an idea as its light early.

Very pleasant stay with friendly and attentive staff.

Unfortunately, my companion was asked four times by a hotel employee where he was “really” from, even though his initial answer was simply the USA. I do not believe there was any racist intent, but once someone answers, that response should be accepted rather than repeatedly pressing them about their ethnic background or roots.

Es gibt kein besseres Frühstück, am morgen noch Menükarte Tolles Zimmer und dann noch die Lage direkt am See

Der Aufenthalt hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen 🤩. Das Personal war unglaublich professionell und freundlich. Die Lage ein Traum. Der Pool zauberhaft und das Zimmer im historischen Teil unglaublich schön und großartig. Der beste Aufenthalt in meinem ganzen Leben!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall im Herbst zurück!!

Das Hotel ist ein Traum!

The location, the SPA (and specially the outdoor heated pool), the breakfast and the overall quality and looks of the building are all top. Rooms are nice and big. Most of the staff was very attentive and nice.

This hotel has everything to be a 10 but they failed in some basic stuff that should not happen at this price point and at a 'leading hotel'. 1. We booked for 2 adults and one child. All written and confirmed. When we arrived late night no cot and room was not prepared for the baby girl. 2. Also in written and confirmed, I reserved the lake side restaurant for Saturday, the hotel booked for Friday - of course a mistake can happen, we are all humans - but what was very annoying was receiving an e-mail that I did not show-up and next time I should cancel beforehand (Is just me but I do not like to be raised to attention like a kid specially at this level).

Atmosfera calda e accogliente, disponibilità di asciugamani ovunque, spa enorme con tantissimi lettini relax, colazione super varia e abbondante

L'acqua delle piscine era un po' freddina e durante la colazione eravamo costantemente controllati (ci hanno sparecchiato la tavola mentre ci stavamo servendo al buffet, appena arrivati). Un po' di relax non guasterebbe. A distanza di due mesi non mi hanno ancora mandato la ricevuta via mail.

Wszystko było absolutnie bez zarzutu!

Das wenig deutschsprachige (aber auch nicht englisch sprachige) personal wirkte unausgebildet, uninformiert und der Zimmerservice kam erst gar nicht um Bad oder Schlafzimmer zu servicen. Roomservice Qualität war suboptimal.

A hotel with luxury touches. It's five-star. But sometimes design outweighs common sense. The bathroom sinks are inconvenient to use; they're just design, not functional. There's no grab bar in the shower stall, and there's no stop on the bathroom door. The lighting in the room is poor, and it's a shame the fireplace doesn't work. The room is spacious, the staff knows their stuff, and the place is beautiful.

The hotel itself is excpetional and truly worthy of 5 stars. The breakfast menu is large, the food was great and the staff was extremely kind.

There really isnt a thing I can write here, so I guess I will leave it at that :)
