The room was large and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was in a nice area of the complex. Breakfast was good but not 5*

The location: the photos suggest that the hotel is out in the countryside when it's actually very near to the lower town and next to a main road. The pillows were so hard that sleeping was difficult. The room was large but had very little furniture so there was minimal space for belongings. Overall not the best stop of our Tuscany tour

Sehr individuelles Hotel in bester Lage zur City. Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück. Schöne Zimmer, schöner Pool.

Zimmer direkt am Fahrstuhl etwas laut. Sehr schwache Lademöglichkeit für E-Autos.

Väldigt god!

Das Bett war ein Hammer und wir haben traumhaft geschlafen. 👍 Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Wer sich bestens aufgehoben fühlen will ist hier am richtigen Platz 😉😊👌

Die Gelsen/Moskitos sind bereits in der früh bis abends unterwegs im Außenbereich. Wer, wie ich, ein Leckerbissen für sie ist sollte sich gut dafür schützen um nicht von oben bis unten geschmückt zu sein😆😜

Perfect place to stay in Tuscany. Very close to all the little cities and vineries. Walking distance from Certaldo, a beautiful little city with restaurants and castle. The hotel itself is very clean, with spacious rooms, beautiful bathrooms, very nice pool. The breakfast at the hotel is great! And the staff if amazing, friendly and accommodating.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Guter Parkplatz direkt am Hotel.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstraße und man hört ab und zu die Autos wenn man am Pool liegt. Das war aber lieb großes Problem.

Uns hat alles super gefallen, das wunderschöne Ambiente, das freundliche Personal, die ruhige Lage, das tolle Frühstücksbuffet, der riesige gepflegte Garten und der saubere Pool. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Eine Mehrfachsteckdose im Zimmer wäre das i-tüpfelchen gewesen :-).

Breakfast was a superb, lovely buffet - fresh fruits, pastries, fresh omelets, fresh squeezed juices ... one of the BEST breakfasts I've experienced - thank you - Added bonus - lovely garden seating for breakfast if want : ) Lovely Hotel with superb service - recommended / arranged for us an evening meal celebrating our 50th Anniversary - at a lovely Castle in Certaldo village : ) This made our Anniversary trip magical !

GPS - could not find the location every night for 3 nights - construction on the bridge - We hope to come again and see if that is better - We will be back and try it again : )

Prachtige accomodatie en heel hondvriendelijk. Ontbijt was prima in orde.

Drank aan de bar was in verhouding met andere plaatsen in de omgeving heel erg duur.

Personnel aux petits soins et très agréable, propreté impeccable, très bon restaurant, chambre confortable . A proximité de la gare à pied pour se rendre à Sienne, San Gimignano et à Florence. À proximité également du funiculaire pour visiter Certaldo Alto !

We asked to move rooms as there were dogs barking in the next room. This was handled very well tbf by very nice staff. Stagnant water around the hotel causing mosquitoes. Impractical to walk to the hill top part of Certaldo. No help with our bags.

La struttura è pulita, silenziosa e dotata di tutti i comfort. Colazione molto abbondante e variegata. È possibile fare colazione anche in giardino ed è veramente un plus

Le dimensioni della camera non sono grandissime, quindi bisogna tenerlo presente se si vuole fare un soggiorno più lungo. La doccia posizionata proprio dietro il lavandino non è comodissima, ma niente di insormontabile

De deur van de hotelkamer naast ons viel steeds met een harde klap dicht waardoor we ‘s nacht rechtop in bed zaten als de buren binnenkwamen.

Restaurangpersonalen var väldigt serviceminded och omhändertagande. God mat på restaurangen och fin frukostbuffé.

Vårt rum stank avlopp, vilket förvisso personalen tog hand om men det var dålig doft i två av våra fyra dagar och vi blev inte kompenserade eller fick möjlighet att byta rum. Poolen behöver nog en upprustning då den lämnade gula missfärgningar på badkläderna.

The Breakfast was very good, with a vast variety of good tasting food, fruit and pastries. The room was of a very good size, very comfortable and also very clean.

Vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid van het personeel. Zwembad is klein maar voldeed omdat er weinig gasten waren.

Kamers zijn gehorig en drankjes zijn aan de prijs. Oplaadpunt is niet geschikt voor elektrische auto's. Mijn hybride stond 15 uur aan de oplader voordat het 100% opgeladen was.

Our stay at the LHP Certaldo Resort was absolutely wonderful! Housed in a beautifully restored 16th-century flour mill, this hotel perfectly balances historic Tuscan charm with modern comfort.  The rooms are spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We loved starting our day with their excellent breakfast buffet, which featured a great selection of delicious homemade pastries and cakes. The hotel's location is ideal tucked away in a peaceful setting but still incredibly convenient for exploring nearby San Gimignano, Siena region. What truly made the stay special was the exceptional staff. They were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. After a long day of sightseeing, relaxing in their beautiful lush gardens and by the outdoor pool was the perfect way to unwind.  If you're looking for a relaxing, luxurious base in Tuscany, we cannot recommend LHP Certaldo highly enough!

Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten E-Bikes für 4 Tage gemietet, die wir problemlos unterstellen und laden konnten. Der Poolbereich und Garten lädt zum Faulenzen ein. Der Ort Certaldo bietet einen guten Mix aus Einheimischen und Touristen, die vor allem wegen der Altstadt kommen, die absolut sehenswert ist. Von dem Ort sind alle interessanten Dörfer und Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen.

Das Hotel liegt zwischen zwei Umgehungsstraßen, verbunden durch eine Brücke, die während unseres Aufenthaltes wegen Bauarbeiten gesperrt war. Wer absolute Ruhe möchte, sollte sich lieber auf dem Land einquartieren.

Zostaliśmy nieuczciwie potraktowani, gdyż hotel pobrał opłatę za apartament z balkonem,a dostaliśmy standardowy, duszny pokój na poddaszu z niesprawną klimatyzacją. Pomimo złożonych reklamacji ze strony obsługi klienta Booking oraz reklamacji złożonej bezpośrednio do hotelu, hotel nie raczył odpowiedzieć. Nie polecam.

Das freundliche und aufgeschlossene Personal - Danke für den tollen Support. Ein grosser Garten mit sehr viel Potenzial, der sicher noch etwas Fine-Tuning benötigt um ihn entsprechend in Szene zu setzen. Die Flexibilität bei der Zimmerauswahl. Dann bleibt mir noch das kostenlose Parken zu erwähnen. Zimmer (sauber), Frühstück und Lage waren OK - aber auch nicht mehr als das.

Das Hotel nennt sich Resort und kategorisiert sich als 5 Sterne Haus (Landeskategorie hin oder her). Beschreibt sich als LHP Certaldo Resort, is a charming 5-star hotel in Certaldo. Wie genau diese Kategorie und Selbsteinschätzung zustande kommt, ist mir leider völlig unerklärlich. Das Personal ist super und ist ein guter Begleiter auf dem noch weiten Weg ein 5 Sterne Haus zu werden. Hier bedarf es dringend einer realistischen Einschätzung des Hotel Managements. Die Preise an der Bar sind angesichts der Situation und es derzeitigen Ambientes so drüber, dass man es schwer haben wird, Gäste am Abend im Hotel zu halten, geschweige Gäste im Stile eines Resorts den ganzen Tag an sich zu binden. Das Hotel kann es sicher schaffen, aber bis dahin läuft noch viel Wasser durch die alte Mühle (das Hotelgebäude). Auch von 4 Sternen zu reden würde mir derzeit schwer fallen.

Camere pulite e curate, così come le parti comuni. Posizione comoda per visitare le località della zona (30min da San Gimignano).

Premessa, il soggiorno è andato bene ma non da 5 stelle come l’hotel risulta essere. Al check-in (orario di punta, 17) c’era una sola persona dello staff, questo ha richiesto almeno 20minuti. Nessuna bottiglia d’acqua di accoglienza in stanza. La colazione è buona, ma normale e semplice: ci saremmo aspettati qualcosa di più ricco o su richiesta. Lo staff alla colazione è ridotto e questo porta una lentezza e lunghi tempi di attesa per le bevande calde. Segnaliamo che la piscina è molto piccola, non come sembra dalle foto.

Ottimo colazione. Migliore parcheggio e bagno e comodo letto matrimoniale. Buono televisione 📺. Ciao

It is a clean and modern accommodation with beautiful grounds to walk in and the staff were polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast was pretty good for this kind of hotel with enough healthier options. Reception were always helpful and friendly.

The Aircon was limited to 21C minimum which wasn't quite cool enough for a very comfortable night's sleep but it wasn't too bad. The pool is not heated and very small- in hot weather of 30c it was a nice temporary anyway.

l'accueil, la chambre était déjà payée, mais l'employé a exigé la communication de ma carte de crédit "par sécurité". Je n'ai pas apprécié cette défiance à mon égard, d'autant plus étonnante que j'étais déjà venu dans cet établissement ! J'ai demandé le lendemain l'effacement de ces données, j'ignore si cela a été fait. Je vais surveiller mes opérations cartes " par sécurité". Trés déçu.

Hotel stupendo, esteticamente molto bello, camera spaziosa,comoda e luminosa, servizi ottimi, personale gentilissimo e disponibile, ristorante eccellente. Colazione varia con torte buonissime.

La posizione è comoda e vicina sia al centro sia a Certaldo Alto, che si raggiunge con una passeggiata e una salita non molto impegnativa. Forse avrei preferito che l'hotel fosse in posizione più centrale o che avesse maggiore spazio verde nei dintorni della struttura.

Categoria 5 stelle assolutamente inventata , colazione da 3stelle, doccia con dimensioni ridicole , insonorizzazione insufficiente. Esterni in condizioni precarie con arredi vecchi e poca cura , pattumiera in vista con cassonetti strapieni di immondizia. Zona infelice che poco centra con la bellezza del paesaggio .

Il resort si presenta magnificamente, perfettamente integrato con il territorio. Appena arrivati ci si trova immediatamente immersi nel relax più totale. L'hotel è a letteralmente due passi da Certaldo, si può raggiungere tranquillamente sia a piedi che in auto, il centro è gradevole e porta attraverso una funicolare a Certaldo Alto, borgo medievale davvero meraviglioso. L'Hotel ha tutto ciò che serve per sentirsi completamente a proprio agio, se volete sostare da quelle parti non pensateci due volte. Colazione a buffet semplicemente f e n o m e n a l e!

Non ho trovato lati negativi. Gli spazi sono ariosi, le finestre ampie e luminose, il bagno è ben servito e ha una doccia davvero ottima. Tutto davvero meraviglioso!
