El hotel es grande y ya tiene sus años, pero las habitaciones son cómodas, amplias y super limpias. El desayuno es variado y excelente. La atención al cliente es buena y eficiente.
El desayuno empieza tarde a las 8:00 a.m., pero es la norma en México.

El primer día estuvimos sin luz ni agua caliente desde las 10 pm hasta el dia siguiente pasado el medio dia. Solicitamos cambio de habitación y la señora de recepción con muy mala actitud nos dijo que solamente podía ofrecernos una habitación para los 7 adultos que íbamos. Pedimos reembolso y no acepto porque a su jefe no le gustaba que se hicieran cambios de habitaciones. Al ver que no íbamos aceptar lo que nos proponía aceptó de mala gana que nos reasignaran otras habitaciones.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Excelente ubicación, en pleno centro histórico de Guanajuato, muy cerca de la Plaza de la Paz. Un punto muy destacable es que el taxi o Uber te deja justo en la puerta del hotel, algo que resulta muy conveniente considerando la gran cantidad de callejones y calles de acceso limitado que tiene la ciudad. El personal es extremadamente amable y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar. La habitación es muy cómoda (10/10) y cuenta con todos los servicios necesarios para que la estadía sea inmejorable. Además, el ambiente es muy tranquilo, ideal para descansar. El desayuno es excelente, con varias opciones para todos los gustos y de muy buena calidad. Sin duda, es un hotel totalmente recomendado. Me atrevería a decir que es uno de los mejores lugares para hospedarse en Guanajuato.

FALSE ADVERTISING. Booking.com advertises rooms with coffee makers, but these are nonexistent.The hotel staff offer to provide one in the room, but never do. When you request it, the make receptionist who works the afternoon shift is very rude, saying they haven't had coffee makers since the pandemic. The room doesn't have air conditioning, only a floor fan, and the mattress is very hot. The television is very old and doesn't have access to apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, or others that would allow you to choose what to watch. All the television channels are in Spanish, and there's no way to change the language to English or turn on English subtitles. People who can't be out all day or sightseeing, needs these conditions to be improved.

If you need quiet, ask for a quieter room as they vary. Comfortable beds and linens. Large attractive rooms. Lovely attentive staff. Loved it!

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026This is a beautiful hotel with so much character. It feels truly unique. There are lots of lovely spaces like rooftop gardens and a beautiful patio to relax and enjoy the views. The location is really perfect. Our room was spotlessly clean.
Although many reviews mentioned the great staff, we found them a bit distant and not especially helpful. We had asked for a cot for our baby in advance and they had said this was fine, but there wasn't one in our room and they didn't respond to my message about it. We would have really liked a fridge and a coffee machine/kettle in our room. We booked a quadruple room for us and our two children but only got one seat, which meant there was nowhere for us to sit once the kids were asleep.

Super tiny room. It's hard to get around with the luggage open. No external windows, so no daylight, no view, but has internal windows so people can see inside room while they pass by, no privacy. Not worth money for the size.

Not quite. Housekeeper talks loudly next my door; no air-conditioning makes us open window. Breakfast was at 0800am, but not ready until 0830. No good quality breakfast service. I reserved Taxi to airport, and I requested payment by card, cost could be 700 MXN. But actually, I needed to pay by cash and 750 MXN. I had to withdraw cash in the airport and kept my partner in TAXI during withdrawing. It was so bad. I don't want to recommend, and I don't want to anyone to get to be in uncomfortable.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2025Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff, the location, the view! I felt like the location was pretty central to all the must see spots. They are accommodating in helping you find tours and the made to order breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend paying extra for it. The only downfall is all the stairs. You do have to cline up to the main floor 2 flights of stairs and if you have any physical issues request a room on the same floor as the elevator. All the staff was amazing. Thank you all for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Reviewed Sep 24, 2025I enjoyed the location, clean room and beauty of the property. Disappointed in managements unwillingness to accommodate some requests. I asked to use my breakfast coupon ( which I had already paid for ) a day early as I was checking out a day early from the hotel due to a change in plans. They declined to honor that which I found a bit odd.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Housekeeping was very good and attentive. I enjoyed breakfast in your restaurant. The head waiter gave me extra tea bag, lime and honey when I had a cold. Front desk was helpful when I had questions. Very positive experience here. Centrally located and mostly quiet. Clean. Attractive environment
