Flexibility, I travelled with my children and asked for 3pp in one room. They provide a twin bed which suits our needs but prefer to three single bed if they can.

When I asked for a taxi call, the staff didn't answer then I called a DiDi myself which costed more if use a taxi which will be more formally charged.

Wasn’t really expecting much from this hotel and hence the disappointment was lower. We arrived after 9 pm after almost 2.5 hrs on the train and car. On arrival , we were told that all restaurants were closed and so is the lounge. However , the associate that checked me in was really good. Rick or Ricky was his name and he offered to send some drinks to my room from the lounge and gave some hints on what to eat. The room though clean was designed like the 80s though the hotel opened in 2016. Very traditional grand Chinese hotel to be honest with a lot of red! My European colleagues were however fascinated. The room I was assigned too has a foul moldy smell and gave me the impression ventilation was really bad , given that it was just one night and being late, I shortly went to bed. The night was disturbed with fire crackers that went off at 4 am in the morning. Breakfast choices however were not bad for a traditional Chinese hotel of such. Overall no outstanding point about this hotel which is only 10 years old was designed at least 40 years dated !

Dint like the bathtub location and lack of shower area, made the whole bathroom wet Also Bfast menu is very poor especially for Non Chinese people. No butter or Jam were available in the morning

Huge room with great facilities with equally great view overlooking the sea and outlying islands, as well as bridges with beautiful lights at night. I believe we have received a room upgrade to a corner room overlooking the sea by the receptionist who checked us in, Rick. From our room, we could also see Weng Pu Park, which was a lush park with plenty of flowers starting to bloom in spring and beautiful landscape. The park is less than 10-minute walk away from the hotel. Although this is an old hotel, with many parts of it seemingly dated, I would have given it a 5-star rating, because of its facilities and infrastructure. So impressed was I with the hotel's facilities, that I even made a video of it, and soon will be posting it on my YouTube travel channel where I post videos of hotels I have stayed at from all around the world. The reason I end up giving a 3-star rating is because the good infrastructure and facilities are not met by equally good manpower and services. I will explain why below. But before I go through the details of all the negative aspects of this hotel, I would like to give a shoutout to a very special employee who appeared to stand out from amongst all the mediocre employees I interacted with, during my 6-day/5-night stay at the hotel. The outstanding employee who rendered an impeccable service, despite our extremely brief one-time contact, was Rick at the Reception. Rick was the receptionist who checked us in and presumably upgraded our room to a corner room overlooking the sea and the beautiful bridges. Rick was very patient when I asked him a lot of questions about Zhoushan, where to dine, etc. He even added me on WeChat so that I could ask him any question later on. He wrote down on a piece of paper all the places he recommended me, then he sent me the location map on WeChat. He also gave me a set of maps of Zhoushan and the surrounding islands. What I don't like about this hotel are: 1. Guests are allowed to smoke at this hotel! Just like in many other hotels in China, guests are allowed to smoke here. There was a conference going on at the hotel during our stay, and the hallway to our room, lift lobby as well as the elevators, smell of smoke! China would have been much an attractive tourist destination if smoking is banned completely. Don't they know about the danger of first-hand, second-hand and third-hand smoke? Unlike in other countries where smoking is banned and people are generally more health conscious, in China you can see people smoking not only inside hotels and restaurants, but also at train stations and parks! I even spotted a man smoking at Kaihong Square Mall, but no one dared to say anything to him! I guess they are used to it. 2. Restaurant employees are unaware of the current on-going Marriott Bonvoy dining privileges for Greater China. I had to point this out to them. 3. Upon checking-out and scrutinizing my bill, I learned that although I had pointed out to the restaurant employees about the dining discounts and presented my Marriott Bonvoy membership card/app, the discount was not reflected in my final bill. 4. The receptionists handling my check-out showed displeasure when I requested them to print out itemized billing which showed the amounts I spent at the restaurants, to compare against my own records. Initially, I received an invoice which lumped all the 5-6 dining expenses together. Luckily, I kept a record of how much I spent at each restaurant. Although Rick gave me a very good first impression, my check-out experience left a very bad after taste. After settling payment, the 2 receptionists who handled my complaint about the dining discount, just walked away, leaving the invoice they had printed out for me on the reception desk. I found that extremely rude. I had to fold the 2-3 pages of invoice myself. No words were spoken at all by the receptionists after I settled payment. No thank you, no farewell, no please come again, no offer to even fold the invoices and put them in an envelope for me. It's all self-service, in a 5-star hotel. These 2 receptionists (1 male and 1 female) have a lot to learn from Rick! They should be made to shadow Rick and observe how he interacts with guests, before they are allowed to interact with guests themselves. What Rick had painstakingly done, to make a very good first impression, was completely ruined by these 2 receptionists by their awful attitude. All I asked was for them to call the restaurants and changed the amounts billed to me to reflect the discounts I was entitled to according to what Marriott Bonvoy had published on its website. But they showed such displeasure. No wonder when we dined at the Chinese restaurant, we were the only guests dining there. To be frank, the food is overpriced, compared to restaurants at the malls. But I don't mind paying more for the convenience of having meals inside the hotel. They made no effort to inform guests of the on-going Marriott Bonvoy Greater China dining discounts. Why would guests dine at your hotel and pay RMB 100 for a pizza when they could dine at Kaihong Square Mall and pay RMB 50 for a pot of fish and seafood? And when I informed them of this promotion, not only did they not give me the discount but also showed displeasure and gave me such bad attitude when I demanded for the discount upon check-out. For this, I give a 1-star rating. But because of the impeccable service which Rick rendered upon check-in and the great facilities of the hotel which earn 5-star, rating, the average becomes a 3-star rating.

이 숙소 근처에 쇼핑몰, 고속버스 터미널, 모든 것이 5-10분 안에 있어서 이용하기 편리했습니다. 호텔 부지가 커서 조용하고 한적한 분위기를 함께 느낄 수 있는 점이 또한 장점입니다. 룸의 크기도 크고 온수도 잘 나오며, 직원들 또한 친절했습니다.

Great hotel with indoor- and outdoor- pools, great gym and large very nice rooms. Unfortunately, the morning- and the dinner- buffet is not very good for westerners and the quality of the food is not so good. Furthermore, many of the "dishes" are not refilled and typical buffet dishes like bread and french frites is not there, or has already been taken. The hotel is located 1400meters from a mall where some western food can be purchased, incliding a pretty good italian restairant, McDonalds and Burger King. If the buffet had been better, it would have been 5 out of 5

Guests smoking inside a smokefree hotel. I asked the receptionist why they have ashtrays outside the elevators in every floor in a smokefree hotel, his answer was that the hotel was build 15 years ago and they haven't removed them yet and some people are smokers 🤦‍♂️ But this is a common problem in China, smoking everywhere. Breakfast area was freezing cold. Positive: room was nice and clean

The laundry cleaning service is the worst I have ever encountered. After returning my clothes destroyed and getting them back and forth for three days they refused even the compensation stated in the rules of the service.

We had a very pleasant couple of nights here at the end of December 2022. This was our 3rd or 4th stay here over the years, but the first time since COVID. Our previous review from 2018 (https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g658407-d676997-r622770278-Sheraton_Zhoushan_Hotel-Zhoushan_Zhejiang.html#REVIEWS) seems like a very long time ago! The room was lovely. The staff were very good. The breakfast was very tasty, and comprehensive. The lounge is very nice, but was undergoing some renovation. The food and drinks selection during Happy Hour was not great --- this is something the hotel may like to consider enhancing. Great that the pool was open. The price for this stay was also very good. A good choice. We'll be back!

酒店的中央空调似乎有问题，房间的霉味非常非常严重，味道让人难受晚上几乎不能睡，需要戴口罩才能勉强睡一会，另外被子也非常潮湿，躺在上面都觉得黏黏的。 第二天楼层里也听到别的房客让客房清洁的阿姨帮他们把门多打开一下通气通风。 早餐的选择也不多，落座也不会有服务人员来问要咖啡还是茶，服务和五星酒店相去甚远。

Good beds, very comfortable. Average breakfast for a 5 stars, probably because of no foreigners and low seasons? Nice swimming pool but the changing room need a refresh, very old. I would try another hotel in my next stay in ZhouShan

I stayed at the hotel from the 24th Oct. 2019 to 29th Oct. 2019 in Room 0712. I was in a hurry to check out, so I missed to ask for a complete invoice for my stay at the hotel. I requested the hotel to email me a complete invoice for my entire stay at the hotel, including all deposits collected (every time I extended my stay through Hotels.com) with the room charge and other charges incurred. I have not received a reply despite sending another reminder. I am not pleased with the hotel’s uncaring attitude.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times and have always had an amazing stay. Really like executive lounge! Food is reasonably good in the lounge and overall quality has greatly improved since my last stay. Definitely would recommend staying here if visiting Zhoushan.

Visited for one night in a business trip, lovely hotel with excellent central location and good city views, and very close to the ferry. Few shopping options are within the hotel premises. The room is spacious and the amenities are good as well.

This hotel leaves such a wonderful impression on you. Hotel is situated in a beautiful garden setting. It’s so peaceful. Incredible food, yes for all meals. How it fit the food in a single sitting. Room and service are typical high standard Sheraton. Looking to come back soon.

I have visited Zhoushan a few times and stayed at different hotels. 1. The hotel does not recognize Bonvoy member status. Bonvoy is a program that Marriott is heavily promoting, but it is more of lip services than actual program, particularly come to Sheraton. When I inquired about room upgrade availability, the staff told me that I was upgraded to a room at upper room. The staff was just there to handle me, but not helping me. We all know that upper floor room can be requested by any one during reservation. 2. The same front desk staff tried to up sell me for breakfast, which was already included in the room rate. The lobby is very grand and makes you feel good. Most staff are friendly and willing to help. The coffee machine in the buffet restaurant broke as I was in line for a cup of coffee. Yes, there was a line in front of coffee machine. I gave up on the coffee after a minute of wait. Ten minutes later, a waiter came to my table and told me the machine was fixed and I could go to get one if I want. Frankly, I would not want it anymore. This is not a 5-star supposed to do. Customers should not wait for the coffee. However, the waiter surprised me because he noticed the problem and trying to do some good. I appreciated his effort. He alone, saved the hotel reputation. Otherwise, I would give the hotel a two stars. Another problem is that the Italian restaurant as advertised was never opened. You go figure if you want to stay here.

First day in Sheraton Zhoushan hotel and all looking well BUT 5 star hotel with mini bar and refrigerator empty.....what can i say....manager must tb arrange urgently if he like to propose sheraton as 5 star hotel.

The hotel is located near the quiet part of the town but within 10 minutes walking distance you can access Starbucks and Pizza House. Unfortunately during our stay the air condition was turned off and the temperature in the room rose to 26 degrees C !! The excuse we received from the duty Manager was first for economy of power and then that the weather was cooler and there was no need for air condition.... Breakfast is excellent but dinner too pricy.

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of the Chinese National Day holidays. It seems a nice property, with no major problems. The staff were helpful. Some (very) minor issues that marred our stay: we had to insist on complementary breakfast buffet (it was on the website when we booked, but the staff seemed confused --- but eventually granted); a hair (not ours) on the pillow when we arrived and some signs that the room hadn't been vacuum cleaned very well (grit and other dirt on the carpet). The buffet breakfast was very comprehensive and the pool staff kind. Overall, I would certainly consider returning and recommending.

Im currently staying in the hotel its 3am i work up all sweaty because the hotel turned off its airconditioning unit. Called the front desk and they could not understand much english. I could not imagine this. Talked to the person in charge named mandy. She said she was the evening manager. Also couldnt get much english from her. She told me that becuase its 24 degrees outside that they turned off the airconditioning unit and offered to send up housekeeping to open the window for me. What a rediculous offer!!! ALL THIS AT 3:45 AM!!! Im staying in a sheraton and they cant even provide airconditioning thru out my night's stay!!! With a manager who barely can speak any english..... SPG experience is what they claim. Well I'm very ashamed to say that I stayed in a Sheraton expecting decebt service at the very least and they cannot evem privide decent english speaking staff and management and airconditioning throughout the night. SHAME ON YOU!!! I've been staying in this hotel.for the past 8yrs since this hotel opened. Sad to say Better stay at the Hilton. Dont get scammed by staying here.

Gem on tiny island Mr jack was excellent in handling request. Excellent range in breakfast. Locality little far away from town. However very scenic form room. There are some vegetarians options for people.

It's my 3rd Stay and it's as warm as always. Everything was well settled, from arrival to departure; from room amenities to dining experience. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Welcome card was hand writing and welcome fruit was offered. It was the Lantern Festival and welcome desert was also delivered after check-in. The breakfast was very good and Saturday operation was till 10.30 am which was so good for me as I prefer to take more sleep during weekend. I feel so warm at this hotel not because I'm a Platinum Member but it's always and consistent as for 1st and 2nd stays, I was not Platinum at those times while were treated well, too. Special Credit to AFOM, Tony Zhou, very professional and initiative to guests.

Had a nice stay at this hotel. Rooms were very spacious and well-equipped, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, we did notice some wear and tear on the furniture and one of the sliding doors to our bathroom was stuck and could not be closed. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with many choices.

The hotel was first class. Room was very comfortable and we upgraded to a suite room for minimal cost. Breakfast was great - so many choices and the dinner options at the restaurants were also very good. Staff was very helpful.

出張で1泊した。全体的に英語が通じにくい。喫煙で予約したが、禁煙の部屋しかなく残念。設備は申し分ないが、ホスピタリティーにかけるというのが全体的な印象。 マッサージを頼んだが、約束の時間を大幅に遅れたので、キャンセルしたにもかかわらず、知らん顔で来訪。大変荒っぽいマッサージで、背中に大きなあざができた。値段の割に、内容はとてつもなくひどかった。余計なサービスをしつこく迫られ、大変不愉快。疲れが倍増した。

明明訂的是雙人床，酒店說是大床，硬說沒房，要加3百大元才升級行政雙床。晚餐自助餐又乱收費。是SPG會員都装呆。很氣很不爽！

It's a Sheraton. Top of the line everything. That pretty much sums it up. It's a bit overpriced, but no surprise there. The location is a bit away from downtown Dinghai. You will need to take a taxi or bus to get to any of the tourist areas on and around Zhoushan island.

Tres bien mais nous avons réservé une chambre pour deux adultes et deux enfants ages de 12 et 14 ans et la chambre avait seulement un grand lit qui pour deux adultes et deux ados, c'etait un peu juste. Nous avons demande un extra bed pour les autres nuits. j'avais choisi cet hotel aussi pour la piscine extérieure mais elle etait vidée!

房间和过道有霉味，只好请服务员把密封的窗户打开通风。离吃饭的地方有点远，自己开车还好。

The room was great with everything we needed. Two double beds meant we could sleep 4 people comfortably. The service at the hotel was lacking. There was a long wait in the lobby for check-in, which itself was processed very slowly. The hotel grounds were quite nice, with plenty of greenery and nice landscaping. The outdoor pool looked great but it was dry/drained and not open. Breakfast spread was huge with lots of choices, none of them (Chinese or Western) particularly high quality or tasty. The location was a bit inconvenient for our purposes, which was as a jumping off point for a day trip to Putuoshan. It took us about 25 minutes to drive to Shijiamen port for the ferry over, so a hotel closer to the port would have been better. Overall a nice hotel.

舟山の中ではきれいなホテル。 徒歩圏内には何もないが、ホテルで過ごすのなら良いところだと思う。 また出張がある時は利用したい。

舟山シェラトンホテルはさすがに五つ星です、素晴らしいホテルでした、ただ　残念なのがホテル玄関まで道路から長く　目の前のバス停でも川が邪魔して迂回しなければならず、全てタクシーか車でないと、利用出来ない大変な不便さがありました。

本次住宿遺珠之憾，就是沒有附早餐，所以房價跟貴公司訂購和網上自行向飯店訂購，其實也差不多。

室外泳池不干净，阳台不能使用，锁起来的，有些遗憾

趁着中秋小长假来普陀山还愿，住了喜来登，总体感觉很不错，客房比较大布置也很合理，卫生情况也很不错，酒店的配套设施较全，适合休闲度假居住，酒店周围的环境比较清净，不怎么繁华，尝试了他家的自助餐，种类不是特别多，但还可以接受，羊排很嫩，梭子蟹也味道不错，海鲜砂锅较为推荐，味道鲜美哦！哈根达斯个人认为比另外一个新西兰的冰淇林要好吃哦！可惜的是三文鱼没有尝到~

今回は普陀山への小旅行(2回目)ということで利用させてもらいました。 ホテル自体は新しいこともあって、ロビーも部屋も非常にきれいです。 周辺は静かですし屋外プールもあり、雰囲気はリゾート感覚です。 ですので、ホテルでゆっくりという方には良いと思います。 ただ、他のレビューにもありますが、周辺には何も有りません。 10分くらい歩くと百貨店がありますが、これくらいですね。 夜食は沈家門へ行きましたが、ホテル前(周辺)にはタクシーは無くバスで向かいました。 帰りもバスを使いましたが、片道20分です。 ※バス停はホテル前に有ります。 このホテルで過ごすだけなら何も問題ないですが、観光目的であればお勧めできません。 個人的に中国の公共交通機関利用は苦にならないので特に問題なかったですが、一般的には避けたいですね。 自家用車で行きましたが、駐車場は無料でした。

OK stay. Restaurant service can be improved. Given beer that was warm. When asked the waitress put the opened beer into a fridge for 5 minutes and come back with the same 'warm' beer. Had to ask her to change to a cold one before she get a real cold beer.

This is a really beautiful hotel - as I would expect of a Sheraton Hotel. The standard of room was excellent and the food was high quality, although expect to pay top dollar if you are going to eat there. The hotel wasn't close to areas to eat out, so we did find ourselves eating at the hotel after a long day sight seeing when we didn't feel like venturing out again.

το aircondition του δωματιου κρατουσε σταθερα 27-29 βαθμους και δεν μπορουσα να χαμηλωσω την θερμοκρασια παρα τα παραπονα στην reception. κατα τα αλλα ειναι ενα καταπληκτικο ξενοδοχειο με πολυ ωραιους κοινοχρηστους χωρους και τεραστια δωματια.

開発区の市政府近くにあり、ビジネスで利用するには 程よいですが、有名な観光スポット沈家門へはタクシーで 約20分かかり、歩ける範囲には魅力的な場所はありません。
