Too many stairs

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Dann and would absolutely recommend it. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was delicious, the amenities were excellent, and I had a fantastic massage at the spa. The direct beach access was another huge plus and made it so easy to enjoy the water without having to leave the property. Honestly, the hotel had everything we needed, which made our time in Cartagena so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Our stay at Hotel Dann genuinely made our Cartagena experience 100% better. It was comfortable, convenient, and a great place to come back to after spending the day exploring. We would definitely stay here again!

Que está del lado de la playa y se accede a ella. También el trato de las personas de su restaurante son muy amables. La habitación muy limpia, espaciosa y con una vista al mar espectacular

Que había una fuga en la regadera y salía el agua hasta la estancia, peligrosa porque me resbalé y no la arreglaron los 6 días que estuvimos.

La calidad Humana tenemos 6 años que sielpre pasamos un fin de semana alla.

Subir o bajar escaleras al salir del ascensor

Hotel con amplia habitación. Limpia y camas cómodas. El desayuno tipo buffet ofrecía bastantes opciones. La piscina está bastante bien, y tener acceso directo a la playa es un plus.

El ascensor no está a la misma altura de las plantas. Se queda entre ellas, es decir, entre la 1 y 2, 3 y 4, etc. Por lo que aquellos que tengan movilidad reducida, tendrán dificultades para acceder a las habitaciones. En el hall del hotel se ofrecen a llevarte la maleta. El recepcionista que nos atendió no fue muy amable. " Tendría un mal día"....

Es un gran equipo, servicio perfecto, desayunos ricos, habitación completa y súper cómoda.

I am writing to express my concern regarding the cleanliness of the air conditioning units in our rooms. The AC filters were extremely dirty and dusty. As a result, most of our group developed severe rhinitis during our stay. However the room was very spacious and comfortable. The lobby looks very outdated and run-down also the lobby bathroom was in very poor condition

La ubicación es excelente y el servicio excepcional

Habitación muy amplia y bien dotada, excedió expectativas. El personal fue muy atento tanto en restaurantes como los de seguridad a la hora de buscar transporte e indicaciones sobre la ciudad.

La playa el sábado en la tarde estaba particularmente llena justo en el pedazo frente al hotel, con personas que para un viaje con niños no sería ideal.

De kamer met zeezicht was de kamer met uitzicht op het dak van het restaurant. Dus zorg dat je vraagt voor een kamer hoog. Daarnaast mega gehorig. Op de 2e verdieping hoor je de deur van het personeel rond 6u meerdere keren dicht vallen. Vind het duur voor wat je krijgt, in het oude centrum heb je leukere plekken voor minder geld

Dicen ke es playa privada y es pública cobran la mesa sillas y carpa. Aparte de eso en la reserva dice ke el cierre de la habitación es a las 12 del mediodía y la apertura a las 3 pm

El chekin es muy cruel 3 de la tarde al llegar pues uno viene en un vuelo de 6 y 30 de la mañana y toca esperar hasta las 3 de la tarde. Se pierde todo el primer día. Deberían tener en cuenta la hora de llega de los vuelos. Pero la salida si debe ser a las 11. Que triste.

The property is beautiful, big pool on the ground level, connected to the beach. Stayed in superior king size with balcony and sea view. Good size room .

One of the biggest problem is this hotel is Air conditioning, even the lobby had potable A.C and fans. Our room temp didn’t drop below 23C. It was super hot in the room especially during the day time. Technician came by to check the AC but wasn’t able to help. Had an ask for a portable fan, which was provided. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I would absolutely avoid this hotel. While the staff were very attentive and tried their best to help, the facilities are in a very poor state of repair and lack even the most basic amenities. The rooms do not have a kitchenette and are missing basic items such as a kettle, microwave, iron, hair dryer, and even drinking water glass. Additionally, the cold-water handle on the bathroom sink was broken. During the night, the air conditioner started leaking. A maintenance technician was sent to fix it, but as soon as he left, the leak started again. When we informed the front desk, we were told that the maintenance technician had already gone home and there was no one available to repair it. So if something breaks outside business hours, you’re out of luck, there is no 24/7 maintenance service at this supposedly four-star hotel. We were eventually moved to another room. The food in the restaurant was average, but the breakfast buffet was below average. The fruit juice tasted like it had been heavily diluted with water and some of the fruit was a few days old, the watermelon in particular was off. The room key cards constantly lose their programming, forcing you to return to the front desk to have them reactivated. We were told that the magnetic strip can be affected if the card is kept too close to a mobile phone. In all my years of traveling, I’ve never encountered this issue at any other hotel. I would recommend that the hotel upgrade its key card system, as this became a recurring inconvenience throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel falls well below the standard I would expect from a four-star property, and I would not stay here again.

El acceso a la playa, las camas eran cómodas

El hotel está un poco viejo, aveces se ve un poco descuidado y algunos del personal eran poco amables, lo que entregan las toallas con mala actitud y los de recepción, considero que para hacer de la cadena dann no tienen la talla de los demás hoteles de esta cadena, la verdad no volvería

Muy bueno el desayuno, el servicio también excelente. La piscina hermosa y la salida al mar.

Que cierra muy temprano el restaurante.

Esta ubicado en una zona tranquila no con demasiados vendedores o no con tanta aglomeración de personas, sentí mucha tranquilidad de poder dejar las cosas o pertenecías en la zona de piscina y salir muy fácilmente a la playa pues tiene acceso directo, si entras de la playa hay ducha y puedes inmediatamente meterte a la piscina para relajarte. Además el sector es bonito y cerca a pie encuentras restaurantes de todo tipo y es un sector comercial donde también puedes comprar los detalles para regalos.

Solo un trabajador que el primer día no nos respondió el saludo cuando quisimos salir a la playa, no nos explicó como era el funcionamiento, solo dijo que la playa no estaba en servicio. Y al entregarle la toalla dimos las gracias y no contesto. Pero de resto todos los empleados excelentes, super educados y pendientes de que estuviéramos bien.

I won't say the pictures lied, but I will say that the rooms were not as good as the pictures of the rooms. This hotel is definately not Handicapped friendly. You have to walk up stars to get to the lobby, then up another set of stairs to get to the elevator. Then the elevator stops cover two floors so you may get off on one floor and have to take stairs to the next floor. Internet was awful. It was very inconsistent and often not working. I have been to this city four times and this was my fourth hotel. I would return to the other three but not this one.

Buen acceso a la playa y al centro comercial, fácil de acceder a a locales comerciales y a los lugares como Getsemaní y ciudad amurallada, tiene locomoción que te lleva directo a lugares para conocer y turistear.

Great Hotel in Cartagena, excellent location with direct access to nice beach, close to small super market, restaurants in a nice and safe zone of city. The pool is great and the staff is always ready to attend guests in all hotel. The restaurant "Bucanero" has a wonderful and very wide range of options, since breakfast to dinner you can enjoy your time there. Ask for José a senior waiter, he can help you in a very professional way always. This hotel is a good choice for your stay in Cartagena, Dann Hotel is a good deal for your money.

Es un lindo y cómodo hotel. Tiene una ubicación maravillosa.

Que el ascensor no para en cada piso, sino en entrepiso, por lo que hay que bajar o subir algunas escaleras para llegar a la habitación. El desayuno es muy monótono cuando se tiene una estadía de más de 2 días.

La piscina tiene acceso a la playa, me encantó.

Me colocaron en una habitación muuy buena,pero le faltaban muchas reparaciones,el baño social botaba mucha agua,y la pared detrás del baño principal estaba en muy mal estado,por lo demás muuy bien y esto lo comenté en la recepción, un técnico cancelo el baño porque el arreglo era muy complicado.

a configuração do elevador que so fica entre os pisos, entao vc tem que subir entre o 3 e 4 piso para depois ddescer para o 3. do lobby tem que subir un meio piso para pegar o elevador. A internet ficou mais de 1 dia sem funcionar nos quarto sem ter resolução

Había personal muy simpático en el hotel y otro que ni si quiera te saludaba. El desayuno tiene mucho espacio de mejora, su calidad era baja y muy poca variedad (ejemplo sólo jugo de tomate de árbol), se acababan las cosas, el arequipe no era rico. Había un taladro que no paraba de sonar en la pieza de arriba de nosotros.

Desafortunadamente el aire acondicionado no me funcionó y cuando informé en la recepción, la Solución era mandar a alguien de mantenimiento pero debía estar en la habitación. No lo hice xq mi estadía era corta y tenía todo el tiempo planeado con anticipación, esperaba que me cambiaran de habitación y así se hubiese solucionado el inconveniente. Sufrimos de calor en el cuarto . Eso nos incomodo demasiado!

Great location on the southern part of cartagena with some shops nearby and low key neighborhood. Easy access to the walled city via taxi or uber. The private pool area and beach access is perfect. Included breakfast was delicious everyday.
