Everything was beautiful! The rooms were lovely—very spacious, nice, and well-equipped with air conditioning and all the comforts we needed. I especially want to mention the person who welcomed us: they were so kind and gave us some top-notch tips for exploring the island. Such a warm welcome made our stay even more special. Die Ruhe und der Pool. Richard, der Verwalter, war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg zu den Stränden war nicht weit. Der Beach aux Cannoniers ist sehr schön und auch an den Wochenenden nicht überlaufen.

Das Badezimmer wurde, obwohl täglich gereinigt wurde, nicht sehr gut gereinigt.

Un grand merci à Richard et aux propriétaires qui ont été adorables. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison était très agréable pour nous deux, notamment la terrasse. La piscine est un vrai plus ainsi que la place de parking. Merci !

La connexion Internet n’est pas bonne. Nous avons acheté une carte SIM pour la durée de notre séjour.

Le gérant M. Richard est extraordinaire. Il est très présent sans être intrusif, très à l'écoute et accueillant. Il nous a été d'un grand service salvateur lorsqu'il a fallu trouver un taxi en urgence à 5:00 du matin pour l'aéroport car mon taxi réservé avec booking.com ne s'est jamais présenté. Richard est une personne sympathique, de confiance et efficace. Les appartements sont charmants et d'une grande tranquilité dans un jardin qui est un havre de nature et de paix. La piscine est très appréciée. La literie était excellente et l'appartement est équipé juste du nécessaire. BRAVO!

Le petit hic, ce sont les cafards la nuit dans l'appartement.

Emplacement calme, tout proche de la magnifique plage de Mont Choisy, ainsi que celle de Trou aux biches. Nous avions un véhicule, et nous avons beaucoup bougé, de la Pointe aux canonniers jusquà Belle Mare, en passant par Grand Baie, Peyrebere et sa très jolie plage, Coin de mire, Cap malheureux, Pamplemousses et son jardin botanique, et beaucoup d'autres lieux.

La nouvelle taxe journalière applicable depuis novembre de 3€/personne, soit 6€ pour un couple.

Location and the host

Internet signal very poor. Non-existent in our room and we had to go onto the balcony to connect

Our host Richard was so helpful, funny and knowledgeable. . The villa is lovely. Tennis court and swimming pool .

Location was perfect for us. Richard, the host, was fantastic.

This was just such a lovely place to be. Felt like we had the place to ourselves despite it being relatively full. Close to supermarkets and a gorgeous bakery (more than one but I went every morning to one for fresh croissants). Really friendly. Cleaning available every day. And laundry can be arranged and is good value.

We have just returned from two lovely weeks at La Pointe Villas, and would book to stay here again in a heartbeat. We stayed in the 4 bed property which was as pictured, kept clean by the daily maid service in good working order. Any issues are swiftly dealt with and sorted. The pool was divine and in such a lovely setting, being off the main road also means it is quiet. It is the perfect base to explore, with beautiful beaches within walking distance and a nearby corner shop as well as a few spots to eat. The big supermarket is in about 6k away - a short and cheap bus journey or a quick drive if you have your own car. The kitchen was full of useful bits for self catering which was really helpful. Richard was a fabulous host, who was always available to chat, he sorted transfers and tours for us and was just what we needed for our first time on the island. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we really appreciated all his help and knowledge.

Good location (once one understood the local directions to beeches and restaurants / cafes / bars etc). Great swimming pool and usually very quite for reading / sunbathing & swimming. Our host (Richard) was a star and always available if and when required. Perfect spot for reasonably priced good quality self catering accommodation.

Kitchen and bathroom facilities a little dated but all functional and adequate. A local guide sheet / map for the 'walkable' cafes / restaurants and shops would have been useful as would a guide to the walkable beeches.

Garden and pool. We had two rooms and two bathrooms

Un superbe séjour à la Pointe Villas, de l'espace dans le logement, la piscine pour se rafraîchir, le court de tennis pour échanger quelques balles et une position nickel pour aller barboter à la plage de Mont Choisy juste à côté!!! Bref, nous recommandons vivement!

Richard was VERY friendly and welcoming, went above and beyond. There was a bottle of wine in the room on arrival for our honeymoon, Richard gave us lots of advice on restaurants, taxis, shopping etc and even dropped us off into the local town one day. His dog is adorable and so friendly. The pool was brilliant and clean. The room was a good size with a decent kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning worked very well. Great location with a lovely beach 10 to 15 minute walk away and a couple of nice restaurants and a bakery nearby. Would stay here again and recommend it others.

Nothing to do with the accommodation, just a heads up there are no ATMs in the very local area if needed, so you'd need to get a taxi or bus to Grand Baie.

Olin hotellissa 2 viikkoa ja kaikki meni todella hyvin.Huone oli hyvin varustettu ja oikein mukava ja siisti. Kaikki toimi hyvin. Hotellin ympäristö oli kaunis, hyvin siisti ja rauhallinen. Richard oli oikein mukava ja todella avulias. Suosittelen La pointe villas-hotellia erittäin paljon.

This was a fantastic little villa complex, with an amazing host in Richard. He was super accommodating and charming and had great restaurant/bar recommendations. The villa itself was surprisingly spacious, clean, and had great wifi. I know exactly where I am coming when I return.

Aircon in the rooms worked great, would have been good to have a unit on the ground floor however.

The best thing regarding La Pointe Villas was Richard, the manager. He gave excellent service & went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Very friendly and always accessible.

Richard and his team are so friendly and helpful. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Very peaceful, we had a fabulous holiday. Richard was always available to have a chat and offer advise on how to get the best out of our time on the island

Wunderschön gestaltete Ferienanlage mit wenigen Einheiten, jeweils mit kleiner Küche, Balkon/Veranda und gemeinsamen Pool. Die Betreiber sind sehr kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren zum 2. Mal dort und kommen wieder… :-)

Struttura con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo situata in zona strategica tra le più belle spiagge dell'isola. Il titolare Richard si fa in quattro per soddisfare tutte le esigenze degli ospiti ed è di una rara simpatia e professionalità. Anche le signore delle pulizie sono molto attente e cordiali. Camere spaziose con tutti i comfort all'interno di una bellissima villa con piscina e bei giardini curati. Ci siamo innamorati di questo posto e della fantastica accoglienza, speriamo tanto di tornare un giorno. Grazie ancora per tutto !! Max & Deb

We highly recommend. The villa is peaceful and quiet. Also very clean and well maintained. We will definitely choose La Pointe Villas for future trips!

Fantastiskt ställe. Rent, snyggt och praktiskt. Väldigt väl omhändertagna av Richard som sköter hotellet. Praktiskt med självhushåll, fint franskt bageri i närheten för frukost. Väldigt trevliga ägare som bor intill. Man känner sig riktigt välkommen. Ps, bästa stranden nära är inte Mont Choisy utan

Très bonne adresse

Great and amazing property manager (Richard) made the stay like we were at home. Apartment is enough for a family of four with no issues. Cleaned every other day and we were able to get our clothes washed for a very good price. Please note that this is a self-catered apartment, but there is a small grocery store nearby with a small stall for fresh fruits and Mauritian breakfasts.

Facilities were very good and Richard was wonderful and really made us feel welcome.

The staff was very friendly and service minded. The room was nice and clean, and the area outside next to the pool was pretty with lots of flowers etc. we were very happy for picking this place to stay in our holiday. Easy to take the bus to the city and it’s a nice beach not far from the villa (10 min walking). Thank you for making our stay so great.

Richard, the manager is a very pleasant person, and helpful with most if not all small and major services. Highly recommended place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Pointe Villas. Richard (the owner) was there to greet us on our arrival and our departure (which was 5 am), and to assist with the suitcases. There was secure parking inside the property. The room was cleaned every day and nothing was too much trouble for Richard and his staff who were very friendly. The pool was spotless and the garden was lovely as well. Richard does offer dinners as an extra so if you feel like staying at the apartment and having dinner on your private patio overlooking the pool, it's very enjoyable. Highly recommend these apartments.

The manager was so friendly and very helpful. I thought the bed mattresses were too hard and uncomfortable and I’m guessing they are old and probably need replacing.

Our time in la pointe villas was amazing Richard welcome us and make our staying excellent room was clean every day shop and bus was so easy to get to , what was nice we meet the owner Mr George ,the help and the support Mr George give us was cant put in to words all we can said what a gentelman, We going to Mauritius every years and alway booked with Expedia and we alway get the best advice from the team , was recommed about this villas last year ,not sure what happen, yes i think we will be our number one villas , customer service is our no one we like to thanks Richard , Sweet lady that clearn our room every day , the guy that keep the pool ,and the garden to the high level clearness and had time to talk and nothing was too much for him, most of all Mr George and his famiys

Paikka oli hyvä ja bussilla pääsi helposti liikkumaan. Alue rauhallinen ja siisti ympäristö. Piha-alueet kauniisti laitettu ja siistit myös. Allas näytti puhtaalta. Apua sai, mutta hotellin tilaama taksi ylihinnoiteltu. Lähellä hieno ranta. Asunnossa oli kaikki tarpeellinen, jos olisi halunnut kokatakin.

Good location and cute ambience. Wifi problem was sorted out soon. Richard is friendly. There should be a reception desk/ a better communication.

In general the place is good. But some things should be improved like the water temperature in the shower is not constant, animals get in the room because there is no insect screen on the windows. I found a lizard and 2 gross huge cockroaches. I didn’t know that housekeeping doesn’t provide more than one toilet paper roll and that I had to buy it. The hairdryer can’t be used because the plug doesn’t fit in any socket but fine since it’s summer you can let your hair dry itself. The mattress is too hard for me but I didn’t have any back pain so it’s good. The area is quiet and feels safe.

De större lägenheternas ligger enskilt och det känns verkligen privat. Tio minuter promenad från stranden Mon Choisy och en närbutik runt hörnet med allt man behöver. Rickard som skötte om stället var otroligt hjälpsam med allt från utrustning i huset till hjälp att boka utflykter och bara se till att vi hade det bra

Most suitable for a weeks stay. The location is easy access to the town and the beach os walking distance. The facility is looked after by Richard. He is able to offer good advice and nothing is too much trouble. When I return, I will ensure that we utilize this well maintained establishment

From arrival to departure everything was perfect. The little kitchenette had everything I needed for snacks and meals, the bed was comfortable, the size of the room was good with sitting areas too. Every room has either a balcony or terrace and the pool area was really pretty with ample sun beds. The closest beach, Mon Choisy is 15 mins walk away and is large with incredible sunsets. It’s a 30-40 min walk to Grand Baie. If you have a car then perfect. If not, there is a bus stop close and the owner will help with making any arrangements for a taxi or tour. This hotel truly was a wonderful find and the care I received could not have been greater. Thank you!

We had two rooms with two bathrooms appartment so it was quite spacious, rooms were clean with everyday cleaning service, swimming pool is usually not used by anyone so it is almost entirely for you, but every a couple of minutes it makes a strange 'noise' because of sucking the water so we had to close the windows during the night in order to sleep well. The electric fence helps the guest to feel safely. Mont choisy beach is about 15minutes walking time away. Wifi in the apartments is almost not working, we had huge difficulties to be connected and finally we used our own router. At the swimming pool wifi is better but not always stable.

Good location in Grand Baie close to supermarkets and beach rooms cosy only problem was noisy air conditioning, which needs servicing would definitely recommend

I liked my stay here. It's very convenient, close to mont choosy beach, lots of activities on the beach, there is a grocery store where I got everything I needed, and a few restaurants around.
