La ubicación y lo renovado de las habitaciones ! El servicio de transfer al centro o a la playa bien pero quizás con mejores horarios de traslado sería ideal.

El wifi directamente no funciona, si buscas alejarte de la familia y amigos o no querer saber nada del trabajo, es ideal. Mala señal de red celular y el wifi no funciona nunca. El recepcionista de mi primer día, me respondió diciendo que es así como funciona, no tiene solución. Ni siquiera fue a ver de resetearlo, quizás porque saben que jamás funciona de todas maneras. El desayuno muy poco de cada cosa para la cantidad de gente que había, tenías que esperar a cada reposición . Los mozos muy atentos.

la struttura è buona, parcheggio auto compreso nel prezzo, lo stesso vale per il mare, ombrellone e teli spiaggia compresi nel prezzo, la piscina sufficiente bella e bene attrezzata, navetta gratuita per la spiaggia e per la cittadina di Tropea cosa non da poco... visto il costo del parcheggio. Personale e Direzione molto gentili e professionali, Colazione c'è tutto per tutti i gusti.

Das Hotel mit der schönen Poolanlage, das sehr freundliche Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück und auch der Hotelshuttle zum Strand und nach Tropea. Das Frühstück vom Buffet war ausreichend, gute Auswahl bei warmen Gerichten (Eierspeise, geschmorte Tomaten, italienisches Gemüse, Würstchen etc.) Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Kommen definitiv wieder!

Sono stato nella struttura lo scorso anno e mi era piaciuta. L'ho trovata modificata per interventi già programmati ma sono rimasto deluso dalla camera piccolissima e affacciante con altre su una vanella interna. Nessuna visuale e senso di costrizione. Buono per una notte ma non per un piu lungo soggiorno estivo.

A felszolgáló személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. A vacsora minősége kiváló volt, bár mennyiségben lehetne kicsit több. A reggeli bőséges és nagyon változatos volt. A hőség ellenére a junior lakosztályt ajánlani tudom, mert alig kellett a légkondit használni.

A wifi nagyon gyenge volt. Kevés a parkolóhely. A szobában nincs TV, csak egy kis számítógép monitor helyi csatornákkal, azaz előfizetett streamek nem nézhetők.

We came here in May 2025 and loved it so much that we returned this year. Hotel Tirreno is a lovely traditional Italian hotel. We stayed in a room with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel is kept immaculately and run very efficiently. The reception staff speak good English and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is traditional Italian and after breakfast each morning we enjoyed looking at that evening's menu and choosing what we would like to eat. Very helpfully you can order half portions or even ask for more if you wish. The food was delicious! The pool outside is beautiful and a good size with plenty of loungers complete with their own sunshades and there is also a bar offering snacks and drinks. The view from here, across to Tropea and Stromboli is stunning. There is a minibus service running to the beach or you can walk there in 10 minutes (a bit longer on the way back as it's uphill). The hotel has its own area of beach with lounges and lifeguard.

It was a pleasant stay. Their shuttle to the beach and Tropea is very useful. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice.

We stayed at Hotel Tirreno for 2 weeks in June - our 3rd visit and we will be back. It has all the ingredient you could wish for an amazing holiday (for us anyway). Fantastic location, beautiful pool, and gardens, good food, lovely beach with dedicated sun beds, shuttle to Tropea on an evening which must be experienced, exceptionally clean rooms - I could go on and go and Stefanio and her team do a brilliant job making sure everything is perfect for your stay. The new build is now complete and is beautiful, modern and chic with a new breakfast terrace. We spoke with other guest who were staying in the new rooms and said they were delightful and big. We have returned home and every time we talk about our holiday it brings a smile to our faces and cannot wait to return. Thank you everyone for everything you do.

This is was our second stay at hotel Tirreno. We had a superb junior suite this year, always cleaned well and with wonderful sea views. Staff were excellent and everything was exceptional again, as it was last year.

The breakfast was nice and we could also enjoy the view to Tropea during the meal. The staff is very friendly and helpful ( arranged airport taxi to Lamenzia Terme, shuttle from Parghelia train station and boat trip for us). The shuttle bus to the beach during the day and to Tropea in the evening is useful. We used also the pool surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.

This hotel felt like a five star resort. The room was huge and very clean. The pool and private beach are absolutely beautiful. It was so helpful to have the shuttle to/from the beach and to/from downtown Tropea. The shuttle even dropped us off at the train station on the day we left. The staff was very nice, especially one gentleman who helped at breakfast and the poolside bar!

Très belle piscine , l’eau est à température idéale. Le personnel est très accueillant à l’écoute et prêt à vous rendre service. La restauration est très très bien , le poulpe est succulent tendre à souhait. Digne d’un étoilé. Petit déjeuner très complet. La plage est sympa , seul petit inconvénient c’est que celle ci est à 5 minutes à pieds, ou navette très bien organisée. L’hôtel à vue sur la mer , mais se trouve en hauteur sur une falaise. Avantage l’hôtel se situe proche de la plage st Michelino à faire obligatoirement, splendide. Et à 5 minutes de Tropea . Pour les personnes qui recherche le calme il est idéal.

La douche de la chambre petite , c’est la seul chose .

Once again, we had a wonderful relaxing holiday with Stefania and her team. This hotel is a quiet friendly family run hotel which serves wonderful, delicious, local cuisine. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, they can't do enough for you and make your stay so relaxing. We have returned for the fifth time and it will not be our last. We look forward to going again next year.

Na ize číslo 101 - výhľad žiadny (okno do nejakého podivného átria)- bolo cítiť z rána septik. Pravidelne! Mysleli sme si, že je to nejakým prípravkom na podlahy, pretože čisto tam bolo naozaj prvotriedne, ale nebolo to tým. Bolo to zápachom zo septika - po otvorení okna.

Not a lot more to add to what has been posted before. This is the best hotel we have been to for a long time. Staff are all amazing. Wine menu is brilliant and reasonably priced. Already booked for June 2027.

I’ve just spent a week at this hotel with my sister. We did not like our room. I had booked a twin-bedded room on a package with TUI and i also emailed the hotel to make sure we were given two single beds. I was assured that would happen. What we got was a room with an enormous bed and one stuck on the side against two walls that should have been a seat as it was right opposite the TV or a kid's bed. Very dark area. Later in the week we discovered that the enormous bed was two separate single beds pushed together but made up as a king. This should have been separated into two singles for us. Didn’t bother mentioning this as it was too late in the week by the time we realised. Plenty of storage in the room but inappropriate picture above the kid’s bed. Bad enough seeing my backside in the morning! Breakfast was good but was never replenished in time. Loads of empty dishes. Also didn’t know what a lot of the fried pasties etc were. Dinner was outside apart from one evening when it was drizzling. You had to sit at the same table all week so we had to take it in turns to stare at a wall. We were told we could not choose where to sit. Starter was always nice, mains often didn’t look much but was tasty but nothing much for vegetarians. The dessert was usually watermelon. They only had one bottle of white wine out of a long list while we were there, which we found very amusing and it was lovely so didn’t matter. Nice pool but hardly any umbrellas so difficult to sit there. Not a problem as the beach area is huge with loads of loungers and umbrellas and free to use. We walked down and got the shuttle back. The whole area containing the two hotels is really nice. Short walk into Tropea and to the train station in Parghella. Not many trains and very busy but we went to Schilla and Pizzo on day trips easily. We spent every evening in the sister hotel piccolo up at the Sky Bar. Really enjoyed sitting there in the dark with a candle, drinking wine. The barman in the Sky Bar and the two men on reception were very friendly but can’t really say that for anyone else. Maybe we expected too much as a lot of the reviews have said how friendly it is, as did four people on our minibus. The waiters and waitresses don’t really say anything.

We've just spent a fabulous week at Hotel Tirreno, Calabria. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us. From organising trips, writing down train times, giving advice, and not forgetting an iron and ironing board they lent me!!! Everywhere you went was kept spotlessly keen. The lovely breakfast was self serve for both cooked and continental, and replenished often. EnglishTwinnings tea bags are used and there was lovely coffee too. There was a nice menu to choose from for evening dinner and the octopus and potatoes in olive oil was heavenly. The hotel supplied towels for the poolside and the beach and there's a courtesy shuttle mini bus to the beach several times a day, although it's very walkable and the same mini bus runs evenings to the main town Tropea also which walkable about 30 mins. I could go on and on but all in all, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Well what can I say, other than, please ignore all the negative reviews? In my experience some people are never happier than when they are finding fault or complaining. My husband and I returned yesterday from, what was, our second visit to Hotel Tirreno, and it didn't disappoint. Just like last time the welcome from Stefania and all her team was utterly genuine and as warm as the sunshine itself. In our experience, on both occasions, we were made to feel more like family than paying guests. So much so we have just booked to return again next year so that we can explore even more of the beautiful surrounding area and towns. With respect to some of the negative comments: absolutely there are dogs on a neighbouring property but they do not bark constantly. It is occasionally throughout the day and for no more than 30 or so seconds at a time. Air conditioning, yes the hotel did experience a problem with the air conditioning but this was resolved in under 24 hours and our room was always cool when we entered it. Condition of the rooms. Again in our experience (we had a different room on both visits) they are completely adequate, kept spotlessly clean by the friendly housekeeping staff and at the end of the day we only required it to sleep in as the idea of a holiday, to us, is to be out enjoying the fresh air and sunshine which was there in abundance. Shuttlebus again always found using it to be both reliable and convenient. So, as far as we are concerned, if you are looking for value for money combined with a beautiful, relaxing, extremely peaceful holiday which includes good food, warm, friendly welcome and service along with being brilliantly situated to visit surrounding areas using the ease of local transport then don't hesitate to book Hotel Tirreno.

I had a fabulous week at this hotel. The staff were lovely and so helpful the food the room the location ....everything was great. The location was really good as it was easy to go to Tropea and the beach with the shuttle buses ...both were walkable if you wanted ( half an hour or so). but you came back to the lovely peaceful village location. The beach was lovely and the pool was fab. Couldnt have asked for more!

Excellent stay very clean rooms and all around the property. staff were amazing from management to gardeners always very polite and eager to help. Loved the food. Great choice. loved the local produce in all freshly cooked meals. very quiet place which made the holiday very relaxing would definitely stay again

Excellent, from the moment we were dropped off by the transfer coach to the moment we left the family and staff could not have done more to make our stay better. Located outside Tropea, but only a fifteen minute walk away from the town the hotel and the other small hotels on the complex are lovely. Well appointed and very clean, the food is very good, breakfast similarly good, Stephanie and her team work hard at promoting Calabrian produce to very good effect. It was Sallys birthday while we were here and Stephanie and her team made the day special, responding to my requests quickly and in a generous fashion, thank you. Quiet and relaxing but with very good facilities in the rooms, restaurant and around the pool, don’t be afraid to ask for anything, the answer will always be “ yes, of course “. A limited choice on the menu, but something for every taste each evening, with seafood, meat and vegetarian options and very well cooked and served. Great choice of local wines and a nice atmosphere around the whole complex encourages you to stay here each evening, although to venture into town will not disappoint, it comes alive in the evening with groups of families and friends. Some terrific places to eat and be entertained, make sure you experience a sunset either on the beach, from the viewing places in town or the rooftop bar in the Piccolo Residence. Terrific views of the coast and town from the seaward facing rooms and the roof top bar on the piccolo residence. The hotel busses will take you into the town or to the hotels beach area if you don’t fancy the walk and Parghelia is only a short walk away for the train station, worth a look around too for a taste of “ local” Italy. Continually being developed and refreshed this is one of the nicest family run hotels we have stayed in, go now before everyone else joins the Italians in holidaying in this beautiful area of Calabria. Stay here for an attentive, friendly, positive holiday experience.

Just a short walk away, you’ll find a breathtaking beach with crystal-clear waters and everything you need for a perfect day under the sun. And then… the staff. Absolutely WONDERFUL! Truly the BEST OF THE BEST—kind, attentive, and always with a smile. They made our stay unforgettable. The hotel is also ideally located just a 10-minute drive from Tropea, a charming little town perched on a mountain with spectacular views of the coast. The perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Lovely hotel most of all the staff are amazing food is beautiful also the pool food menu is great The pvt beach area is lovely there’s a nice restaurant on the beach we didn’t use the shuttle service we preferred to walk but it’s a nice stroll We are wanting to return in September I’m sure we will be having another great time

Had a wonderful experience at Hotel Tirreno. My favorite part was the people who work there, Stefania, Michele and the entire staff was excellent. The breakfast was great and have dinner a few nights at the hotel, loved so much tried to recreate meals at home. The fact that they are located close to Tropea, they have a shuttle to the town center and to their private beach. I loved the pool and the pool bar - it was all molto bueno! I hope I can return. Grazie!

Pas de points négatifs.

Snídaně byla výborná, pestrá, každý den se obměňovala. Moc se nám také líbilo sezení v zahradě. Personál byl velmi milý a vstřícný. Krásný bazén v zahradě s barem, který měl pěknou nabídku nápojů i jednoduchých jídel. Velmi příjemné umístění na svahu nad mořem, na které byl výhled. Službu hotelového shuttle jsme ani nevyužili, rádi jsme se na krásnou písečnou pláž s příjemnou restaurací prošli. Stejně tak do asi 1,5 km vzdáleného půvabného starobylého městečka Tropea. Velmi milý a ochotný personál.

Jediná věc nám trochu vadila, a to byl velký agregát nejspíš pro klimatizaci, který byl umístěn v zahradě poblíž pokojových balkonů a dost hlučel.

Second visit to this lovely hotel. Friendly staff and professional staff, Stefania, Michele, Gianni, Alice, Vincenzo and all the others. Nice pool area & bar, lovely beach. Also the sister hotel Piccolo has a nice rooftop bar, manned by the ever smiling Michael. Very nice food. Highly recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week's stay at this excellent hotel. All the staff were very efficient, pleasant and helpful. Our room was wonderful, spacious with a roomy balcony and a window facing west so that we could watch the stunning sunsets. The food was excellent, breakfasts and evening meals, with high quality food well-cooked and presented. The location was great, just a fifteen minute walk down to the hotel's own gorgeous beach, with sun-loungers and parasols provided and crystal clear water for swimming and snorkelling.

This is our third stay at Hotel Tirreno and it was just as pleasant as the previous visits. The hotel is immaculate, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the beautiful town of Tropea is magical. The restaurant at the hotel is very good, offering many different choices. The breakfasts are also very good with lots of different variety that is sure to please everyone. We will definitely be back again.

Hotel Tirreno deserves 5 stars. My wife & I had a 2nd floor room with a large balcony overlooking the pool, the sea, views to Tropea & Stromboli. The pool is excellent with plenty of comfortable lounges. The pool bar is an added bonus. They hotel takes pride in their gardens, and the olive trees are amazing. The staff at the hotel were friendly & always willing to help. The hotel restaurant (dinner & breakfast) is lovely and perfect for dining al fresco on warm summer evenings. For those travelling with a car, there is ample & free car parking available at the hotel. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the beautiful & sandy beach at Parghelia, including free of charge beach lounges & umbrellas. Alternatively, a downhill walk to the beach takes 10 minutes. A shuttle service is also provided to Tropea. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Tirreno. Alan & Rosalie.

We have recently returned from staying 2 weeks at Tirreno. This was our second stay and we have never before returned to the same hotel and this is why - 1. Stefania and ALL the staff are friendly, polite and professional and make you feel welcome from day 1. It is like returning to stay with friends - from the small things i.e making us our coffee each morning (decaffeinated) without even having to ask!The personal touches are much appreciated. The dedication of all the staff really shines through and nothing is too much trouble for them. 2. The grounds and pool are beautifully kept along with a pool bar serving drinks and snacks in the day. 3. The hotel has a dedicated section with sun lounges, parasols and lifeguard. Whatever time of day you decide to go there is always beds available. You can choose to walk or take the hotel shuttle which is a bonus. 4. Getting around southern Italy is easy to navigate using the trains. We visited Pizzo and Scilla which are definitely worth a visit especially for the Tartufo ice cream. 4. Tropea is lovely and walkable in 20 minutes and on an evening the hotel shuttle bus is available to book. We ate in Tropea one night and were spoilt for choice with good restaurants which were reasonably priced. 5. and finally the people you meet staying at the hotel of all nationalities and sharing experiences. Our third stay at Hotel Tirrenia. We plan to return in 2026. What is there to report. The family and staff welcome us like long lost relatives, the food is traditional Calabrian and excellent, the superb local wines are selected by the family sommelier (and boss!) Stefania, the rooms are lovely, the pool is welcoming, the private beach, approached by the hotel shuttle or a walk is carefully looked after by a lifeguard who has cared for the beach and its users for the past 25 years. I've run out of praises!

A lovely relaxing stay in Hotel Tirreno, great location, staff (all), owners, meals, atmosphere, cleanliness, room, pool, outdoor restaurant. This is our second visit to the hotel, and we cannot fault the service and individuals that manage and run the hotel they are firstly a working family unit making an effective team who are pleasant, polite and courteous. We received such a warm welcome from the staff who are always polite and helpful. The Hotel & rooms are kept spotless and cleaned each day, the pool is also cleaned each day, the garden is also kept in good order, and the gardeners can be regularly seen attending to things. The restaurant is well organised with your table, which is yours for the duration of your stay, the service is always in good time, no waiting. The choice of food each night is chosen in the morning from a preset menu and varies each day, the quality of the food and amount leaves no room for complaint; breakfast provides a good choice If you’re looking for nightlife the area is quiet which is why so many people chose it, to visit Tropea in the evening, just sign up for the minibus to take you there and collect you later. There is a 15-minute walk to beach (or a minibus service provided by the Hotel) where the sunbeds are exclusively for the use of guests with towels provided at no cost and a vigilant and helpful lifeguard stationed at the water’s edge all day. The Town of Tropea is a 35-minute walk away or you can get the train from Parghelia to some interesting places.

We have enjoyed many returns to Hotel Tirreno over a number of years, and are always amazed by how the lovely property is maintained, and how the staff is so welcoming and professional. A quality, authentic experience is assured. The food in the restaurant is always excellent, the pool is always sparkling, and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. We have enjoyed many days at the beautiful La Grazia beach, where the Hotel maintains a large number of loungers and umbrellas, and offers a shuttle service to and from the amazingly clear and clean Mare Tirreno. What is not on offer, is loud, annoying music by the pool, or obnoxious “animation” activities at the beach. Instead, the experience is calm, quiet, and relaxing. No disappointments here!

Restaurant mit Aussenbereich könnte etwas freundlicher gestaltet werden

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (vor allem die Rezeption), das einem auch bei der Organisation von Trips etc immer hilft. Shuttlebusse zum Strand und zu Tropea. Sehr schöner gepflegter Pool. Eigener Strandabschnitt mit eigenen Liegen und Schirm. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Schöne gepflegte ruhige Anlage.

Durch die enorme Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals ist es an der Rezeption manchmal etwas voll bzw. man muss etwas warten. Es werden Shuttlebusse nach Tropea und zum Strand angeboten, allerdings sind die Uhrzeiten nicht ganz optimal (nach Tropea beispielsweise nur abends). Um tagsüber nach Tropea zu gelangen braucht man ein Auto, wobei das Parken schwierig ist oder man muss über 30 min eine Straße entlang laufen. Die Zimmerausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

We have just had a fantastic holiday at the Tirreno hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing from the reception team, restaurant, bar , cleaners , mini bus drivers and Vito who looks after you on the beach. They literally can’t do enough for you. The free shuttle bus to the beach and Tropea is a great touch. The food at breakfast and dinner is 1st class with a different dinner menu every day. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and towels are also supplied for the beach. The pool area is amazing and spotlessly clean. If you are thinking about visiting this part of Calabria you won’t go far wrong staying at this amazing hotel, we will definitely be returning. Gracie a tutti

Accueil, gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel (nous avions réservé une suite junior vue montagne, un peu trop sombre à notre goût -en rez-de-chaussée - et nous avons pu effectuer un changement de chambre en cours de séjour vue mer/terrasse magnifique. Merci à Stéphanie et son équipe pour avoir répondu à notre demande. Magnifique hôtel (piscine, plage privée à disposition avec navette hôtel - 10 mn à pied en descente et montée au retour) Proche de Tropéa (navette hôtel ou véhicule - 20/30 mn à pied pour les plus sportifs) Petit déjeuner varié - bar de la piscine avec en-cas le midi et cocktail le soir jusqu'à minuit - restaurant le soir dans un environnement calme et agréable Un bon petit restaurant - cuisine locale et pizzas - à proximité de l'hôtel "Tonino" Proche de le petite ville de Parghelia en passant sous le tunnel (restaurants, épicerie)

This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. We really like the breakfast. It is so amazing, lots of selection, fresh fruit, eggs and pastries. Pool area is amazing. Has a bar for drinks and food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is not too far from Tropea city center with a shuttle drop off and pickup. Everything is great. Highly recommend this hotel.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I felt safe throughout my visit, and the breakfast offered a great selection of fresh and tasty options. Amazing beach and location. The only downside was the mattress — it definitely needs to be replaced. Aside from that, it was a nice place for a relaxing vacation.

The pool area is beautiful !! And it was very convenient to have the shuttle service to the beach and umbrella and chairs included was a very nice touch !

The room was good and always tidy. The staff were very friendly and professional. The shuttle service to the beach was definitely welcome, given the warm weather. The pool was clean and there were enough loungers. The food is very tasty and definitely sufficient. Good wine list with excellent suggestions for matching wines. There is a beautiful, well-maintained garden.

Hotel Tirreno is a truly a place to relax and unwind. Very serene. Definitely a place to stay at. You are made welcomed from the moment you arrive. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, always ready to assist you.

This was our second trip to Hotel Tirreno in Tropea, Italy. The stay was amazing! From the wonderful pool / bar area to the amazing breakfasts on their garden patio. Service by Stephania was terrific along with all the super friendly staff. Truly a wonderful experience! The hotel also had a private beach area which includes lounge chairs.
