Excellent breakfast best I've had in a long time. Very friendly staff from the receptionist to the waiting staff. Overall experience was excellent.

No complaints. Keep doing what ye are doing.

A very comfortable stay. Breakfasts and dinners were mostly very good, nothing fancy but plenty within budget. Plenty of room in the car park.

Not much, fried eggs at breakfast were only just warm enough if I'm searching for something to write in this box.

Times of brekkie. 8am is late.. esp if using it to nreak long journeys or working in area. Also bar/ restaurant area closes at 11 and you are then moved to lobby area. Can still order beverages from reception but it just seemed early esp for a friday night. Even 12pm would have sufficed.

I spent one night in the Gateway Hotel at the end of July. I was with my sisters and brothers, celebrating a special birthday. It was a most enjoyable trip. The rooms w ere spacious, comfortable and well equipped, and the restaurant offered a wide selection of dinner choices. We all enjoyed a relaxed and relaxing evening, catching up over a delicious dinner. The staff were particularly friendly and accommodating, and nothing was a trouble to them. I was especially impressed when the restaurant staff came to our table and sang 'Happy Birthday ' to my sister. I would be pleased to return to the Gateway, and I'm very happy to recommend it to others. I

Visited this hotel on 22nd July and spent 3 nights. I had a lovely quiet room on the 9th floor with great views of the mountains and sea. All Staff were professional in every way especially Adi who went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my stay was comfortable. I hope to visit again in the near future and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

It is in calm part of Dundalk, away from city centre and all the drunk people. And the view from higher floors is amazing!!

Quite and serene environment

No refrigerator in the room. Its summer and the weather is hot. I needed to have cold drinks. That's a big negative for a hotel of that quality.

Yasmin, Jack and Mailte were all incredibly helpful for my stay! I was here on a business trip and they made my stay effortlessly easy and stress free. My room on the 7th floor was spotless and had a beautiful view of Blackrock and the Cooley mountains. Breakfast was also delicious!

The location is excellent. Beautiful ambience as you walk in. The lady on reception was so cheerful, friendly and helpful after our long tiring day. The restaurant/bar staff could not have gone anymore out of their way in making us welcome and ensuring our comfort. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety. Our room was spotless and the beds we found them to be so comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

Fabulous stay in the hotel. Bright and beautiful on entry to reception where staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was fabulous! The bed was very comfortable and I had the best nights sleep in a long time. Well done to housekeeping staff for such a comfortable clean room. Highly recommend 👏👏

This was our fourth time to stay in this wonderful hotel. Ii picked it initially as it is in a great location but now it's an automatic choice when we have to stay in Dundalk. We love the rooms and the delicious food and we find the staff at this hotel to be so helpful, professional and friendly. We always eagerly await our next visit there.
