Die Lage ist einzigartig,direkter Zugang zum See,Poolanlage und Außenbereich top,eigene DogArea.Zwei sehr schöne Restaurants mit wunderbarem Essen.

Leider waren die meisten Mitarbeiter wenig motiviert.Schon beim einchecken war die Dame eher genervt als erfreut,wir kamen uns ein wenig wie Bittsteller vor.Im Laufe des Gespräches wurde sie wärmer und freundlicher,vielleicht auch weil wir doch schon einige Male vorher zu Gast in diesem Hotel waren.Unser Zimmer (Comfort DZ) war mit 25qm eher klein,nicht schlimm,nur die faltbare Schranktür machte ein Zimmerverlassen und gleichzeitig hantieren am Schrank unmöglich.Auch die nach innen aufklappbaren Badezimmertüren waren eine Katastrophe,da wurde nicht mitgedacht. Unsere Erfahrungen im BBay waren leider mäßig bis schlecht.Personal durchweg unaufmerksam und mürrisch,lustlos.Wir waren zu viert im Hotel,sprich zwei Zimmer und jeden Mittag UND Abend einen ordentlichen Deckel mit Essen und viel teuren Wein.Das Wasser wird wortlos auf den Tiech gestellt und nicht eingeschenkt,die neue Flasche Wein in die alten benutzten Gläser eingeschenkt,abräumen dauerte lange und wir mussten täglich mehrfach ins Restaurant gehen,um eine neue Bestellung aufzugeben. Abends Bestellung Pornstar Martini dauerte knapp 30 Minuten!Dann kam eine undefinierbare saure Flüssigkeit in hellpink.Leider hätte die Küche schon geschlossen und man könne keine frische Passionfruit pürieren.Kostenpunkt €22!Auf Deuck und mehrfacher Beschwerde wurde die Küche geöffnet (es war kurz nach 22.00h) und es gab einen schmackhafteren Pornstar Martini. Insgesamt waren wir 3 Nächte dort.Leider wiederholte sich der unaufmerksame Service täglich,man musste selbst immer hinterher sein und nach Getränken fragen,beim abräumen wird auch nicht gefragt,ob es geschmeckt hat. Im Rivale am späten Nachmittag einen Tisch für abends reserviert mit der Bitte,den ausgesuchten Rotwein doch schon zu öffnen.Als wir ankamen keine geöffnete Flasche,leider vergessen. Das Hotel war nicht ausgebucht.Und selbst wenn,erwarte ich von einem Haus in dieser Kategorie sehr viel mehr Engagement und Freundlichkeit,da ist noch ganz viel Luft nach oben!

Die Lage vom Hotel ist schön und ruhig gelegen. Die Außenanlage ist großzügig, es gibt viele Liegemöglichkeiten, sowohl am Pool als auch im Garten. Die Zimmer sind ok.

Das Personal war sehr reserviert und nicht besonders herzlich (bis auf Mirella, die war sehr sehr lieb). Der Service beim Mittag und Abendessen war super langsam und nicht sehr aufmerksam.

Beautiful hotel with lovely surroundings, but unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing. The service was consistently very slow and not attentive enough, and the condition of our bathroom was below expectations. Considering the price and 5-star rating, we expected a much higher standard of service and attention to detail.

This is a lovely hotel. If you want a peaceful holiday, this is a wonderful hotel to choose. Spa is great. Food is very good. Both adults and children in our family enjoyed the holiday. Several restaurants just a short walk away. Views are stunning. Only criticism was that a large party was held in the hotel one night where party attendees were making a huge amount of noise until 3.30am! My elderly parents didn’t get to sleep until after this time. Seemed really inappropriate for the small intimate nature of the hotel and the proximity of the suites to the main party area and DJ (literally 10 steps!) 2 attendees of the party were so drunk they were attempting to get into my parents room at 2.30am. Really unacceptable and no staff of the hotel seemed to take any action. If there’s no parties on… it’s great! 👍🏼

We were on a organised holiday along with approx 60 people. Sadly on our arrival 1st July was chaotic to say the least, the staff on reception were totally disorganized. It came across as if we were a group of people who turned up unexpectedly, wanting a load of rooms! Unfortunately on our arrival the weather was really awful, which is out of their control, and due to this not many of the group wanted to wandered out for dinner. This lead to their restaurant and bar area being unable to cope with the influx of demand. Also disappointed on arrival that knowing that a large group from england, which they knew about, were unable to show the england world cup football game. But told we could watch the USA game later that evening!! Luckily there was another guest who was able to set up his laptop to the TV, but this was due to the guest and not the manager of the hotel. It is a nice hotel but not sure there's a lot to do around this area, we had to get a taxi into the nearest town which was 45 euro's each way, we were not offered the shuttle bus presuming they still run one. Our room 202 was very nice but found the 2 saloon doors into the dressing/bathroom would not close properly, and there was an issue with the pop up plug which would not hold water, luckily my partner sort of fixed it. Breakfast good with a good selection, staff were very good. Pool area was nice however we decided to swim in the lake.

Everything amazing! Luxury and beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning view and amazing stuff. Also wanna notice the incredible breakfast with the lake view and lots of variety of quality food. Highly recommend! Unforgettable experience 👌🏼

A bit far from anything

The location is wonderful, a comfortable and refined hotel in every way. Beautiful grounds which are well cared for, good allocation of sunbeds by pool and in gardens, well presented guest rooms with good amenities (tea, coffee, mini bar, bathroom products etc), fantastic breakfast, restaurant service superb. Efficient and friendly reception staff.

Loved the facilities, room and pool were great

The staff (except for all the ladies at breakfast and the very nice gentleman at the bar with the great beard) came across as dismissive throughout our entire stay. We really did not appreciate the condescending attitude we experienced, and at times there was a complete lack of service. For example, I went to the pool bar to order some drinks, but no one greeted me or even acknowledged my presence for a good ten minutes. I eventually left without ordering anything. Was it because we were younger than the average guests staying at the hotel? It’s the first time in my life that I’ve found myself wishing I looked older.

Odličen zajtrk, udobna soba in postelja, predvsem pa izjemna lokacija neposredno ob jezeru. Vsaka soba ima svoj vrt.

V štirih letih bival že drugič, nimam niti ene pripombe.

Disappointing in the sense of this hotel not being a luxury 5* resort as sold. It’s not a bad hotel, it’s just that it fell very short of expectations. The pros: it’s got a spa and indoor pool (we didn’t use it), the restaurant staff are lovely and the food was pretty good, the pool area is nice as are the grounds and it’s right on the lake. The cons: all other staff were moody and unhelpful (almost disinterested), the bar staff by the pool rarely came round to offer drinks, not enough beds by the pool, location is not great for restaurants if you don’t have a car, and rooms are basic. If you are wanting 5* luxury look elsewhere. If you are happy to pay the price for a good 4* then this is fine.

The selection for breakfast was excellent. Great location.

The room was absolutely boiling, even with the aircon. We couldn’t have the curtains closed at night because the unit was on the wall under the window.

Le camere , la mia dava sulla strada e si sentivano le auto e il traffico ledendo la qualità del sonno, l’aria condizionata non funziona bene ed è posizionata sotto la finestra con il limite che ne consegue chiudendo la tenda.

Parte dello staff non all'altezza di un 5 stelle, soprattuto al ristorante interno, la cameriera non dava molte risposte e non aveva un atteggiamento accogliente. Tempi di attesa esagerati nonostante i pochissimi coperti. Inoltre ci hanno addebitato sulla camera il conto di qualcun altro (noi avevamo pagato direttamente li) e al chekout abbiamo dovuto chiarire la situazione, il che è stato spiacevole come ultimo ricordo prima di lasciare la struttura al mattino presto, allungare i tempi e aggiungere questo stress, oltre alla spiacevole sensazione di non essere creduti, per fortuna avevo mantenuto lo scontrino casualmente. Inoltre mi hanno chiuso fuori dalla camera perchè la ricezione dei miei documenti non era andata a buon fine, c'erano modi più eleganti e da 5 stelle per comunicarlo. Ad esempio assicurarsene durante il checkin? La struttura è bella però le camere classic danno sul parcheggio e non hanno niente di speciale. Una bella esperienza ma sarebbe stata da 10 se ci fosse stata piu attenzione a questi aspetti.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ein Traum für Menschen, die gerne gesund frühstücken, alles frisch und vom Feinsten! Die Anlage super gepflegt und die Badelandschaft optimal. Extrem hundefreundlich und sogar eine Liegewiese für Hunde im absoluten Schatten! 5 Sterne!!

This hotel is in a fabulous position on the shores of Lake Garda. It has beautiful grounds and a lovely pool. Sadly there are other aspects of the hotel that really let it down. To begin with, the two female receptionists were surly and unwelcoming. We late met a male receptionist who was really helpful and pleasant. We arrived early so we didn't expect our room to be ready but we were given a time of 14:30 and we sat by the pool to wait. When 14:30 arrived I returned to reception and was told that it would be another half hour before the room was ready. I returned to reception 4 times before I was finally given our key. If we had been told at the start that our room would be ready by 16:00, we would have been perfectly happy. Our accommodation was a bungalow by the pool. Access for my disabled partner was easy, and the room was spacious and very clean. The only downside was the bedside furniture which was stylish but left very little room for storage. Service in the B-Bay restaurant was excellent in the mornings and the breakfast buffet was extensive. However, the evening service was slow and the attitude of some of the evening staff were surly and inattentive. Some of the basic items on the menu had been pretentiously overworked. The club sandwich was the worst club sandwich that I have ever attempted to eat in my life! It was made from the wrong type of bread, so it disintegrated into a sloppy mess when I tried to eat it. The hard-boiled egg on the sandwich had been replaced with a rubbery piece of omellette; it was a disaster. The hotel is a long was from the local towns and is situated on the main road. There are no pavements so it is impossible to walk into town. if you exit the hotel via the gate at the bottom of the garden, you can take a stroll along a short promenade to a little harbour. There are a couple of little restaurants there. We wish we had know that earlier! This could be a wonderful place to stay. The poolside staff, the male receptionist and the breakfast staff are all efficient and very friendly. It is such a shame that the female receptionists and the evening staff let the side down badly.

The hotel is lovely right on the lake. Beds and pillows very comfortable and plenty of toiletries and tea coffee supplies. We were particularly grateful for the daily water bottles. Breakfast is plentiful and lots of choice. Without exception all the staff were just delightful and couldn't do enough for you. The only down side would be the hotel's actual location, on a main road with only a couple of walkable eateries. Desenzano is where all the ferries go from to visit the lake towns and you have to book taxis to and from the town as there are no taxi ranks in town or reliable buses and Uber does not operate in this area. This was quite costly and required planning. We walked it a couple of times which is perfectly pleasant and about an hour, however you wouldn't want to do that in the evening or in extreme heat.

$2,000 blazer left in room by mistake when I checked out. Two days later I discovered I had left it at the hotel. When I inquired, I was told the blazer could not be located. The only plausible explanation is that someone on hotel staff stole the blazer. Safety of guests and their property should be the number one priority and Splendido failed miserably in this regard.

Spent 2 days here pre cruise . Had a bungelow? Room with no view whatsoever. Clean but not ideal . Breakfast good , but lunch/ dinner poor and overpriced. Hence most guests eat along the lake where we had excellent pizza etc. Also not near any town . Ok for a day or so . Would not recommend

Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind das hervorragende Frühstück, die schöne Lage und der gepflegte Poolbereich.

Die Zimmer waren leider in einem unzureichenden Zustand. Darüber hinaus hätten wir uns vom Personal an der Rezeption und an der Poolbar einen freundlicheren und aufmerksameren Umgang gewünscht.

As with some other reviewers stayed here for x 2 nights pre cruise,the hotel is modern with good big rooms and bathroom areas,the breakfast was very good and all the staff are very friendly and want to please, the prices are expensive but are probably in line with other hotels of this quality, reception was very well organised when the group arrived by coach, however ,the coach had to park and off load cases on a main road which was pretty dangerous for the driver off loading and collection by the passengers.The down side to this hotel is you are a captive audience with little or no taxi availability,and no proper ferry service,which meant you couldn’t really leave the property,but if you just like to sunbathe then it probably wouldn’t bother you,no ice,and no corkscrew and no shops within walking distance makes it a pretty expensive stay.

We stayed at the Splendido Bay for two nights as part of a cruise and stay holiday. There were about 30 in our group. We felt at home from the start. The staff are very friendly. The hotel backs onto the lake and there are large gardens with a swimming pool and a pool bar. We decided to have a lazy day by the pool but had to come in at about 1.30 as it was very hot. We had a very comfortable room on the ground floor. The air conditioning is very efficient which is important to us as we like to be cool at night. The buffet breakfast, which was included in our stay, was excellent, with everything fresh and a very wide choice. We had breakfast on the outside terrace. There are only two niggles 1. The bar and food prices are very high but this seems to be standard for a hotel of this class. For example 16 euros for a pino colada and 19 euros for minestrone soup although it did come with lovely rustic bread. 2 There are no shops etc within walking distance and you'd need a car. There is an excellent restaurant next door (Il Lido). The hotel has 2 restaurants. One is expensive and the other, which is Michelin listed is very expensive.

Der Allgemeinzustand des Zimmer/Hotel war kein 5Sterne Hotel für mich eher ein 4Sterne. Der Hotelparkservice hat meine Fahrzeug beim parkieren gegen ein anderes Fahrzeug gefahren und zuerst behauptet es war nicht seine schuld.

Die Außenanlagen (Pool, Garten) sind sehr schön. Der Wellnessbereich im Prinzip auch. Es gibt auch eine E-Ladesäule. Das ursprüngliche Zimmer wurde getauscht, da es wirklich für diesen Preis nicht "passte"! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Schöner Hotelbereich im Eingang! Die Lage direkt am See wie auch die Verkehrsanbindung TOP!

Bei einem 5-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich mir vor allem beim Frühstück mehr erwartet. Es war zwar alles da (normales Continental-Frühstück), aber eben auch nicht viel mehr! Von 3 Saunen war eine defekt und der "Außenbereich" dazu ist ein Witz in Punkto Größe und Sauberkeit! Ein Wasserschaden an der Decke zog sich fast über das gesamte Schwimmbad. Die Preise im Hotel für Bewirtungen jeglicher Art sind sehr sehr hoch und € 7,00 Gedeckgeld pro Person sind bei den eh schon sehr hohen Preisen ebenfalls nicht nachvollziehbar. Bei der Ladesäule (ca. 10KW/Std.) werden pauschal € 15,00 PRO STUNDE berechnet. Auch dies finde ich auch völlig überzogen. Das Zimmer war trotz der nächst höheren Kategorie "überschaubar" groß. Das erste Zimmer, welches wir bekommen sollten, ging gar nicht.

Splendido davvero! dalla colazione, alla spa interna e piscina esterna per approfittare delle giornate di sole. siamo state benissimo! inoltre ci sono dei ristoranti, consiglio vivamente il rivale abbiamo mangiato molto bene!

l'unica nota che mi sento di fare é che con un hotel del genere la piscina esterna riscaldata sarebbe stata la ciliegina sulla torta! per il resto tutto perfetto

E' tutto perfetto, dall'accoglienza, ai servizi alla location. A nostro parere la miglior struttura sul lago di Garda.

Bella struttura, soprattutto la zona colazione con vista sul lago di Garda.

Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato piacevole e la struttura si conferma di alto livello, tuttavia ci sono stati un paio di aspetti migliorabili. In camera abbiamo trovato il dispenser del bagnoschiuma della doccia vuoto: un dettaglio piccolo, ma che in una struttura di questo standard fa la differenza. Se un servizio viene messo a disposizione, dovrebbe essere sempre curato e completo. Inoltre, avevamo scelto questa struttura anche per usufruire della spa, con l’idea di dedicarle almeno un’ora. Al nostro arrivo però ci è stato comunicato che era al completo. Abbiamo quindi dovuto riorganizzare il pomeriggio, cosa un po’ spiacevole considerando che si trattava del weekend di compleanno del mio compagno. Successivamente, tornando in struttura quasi in orario di chiusura, abbiamo chiesto nuovamente se fosse possibile accedere alla spa. La risposta è stata inizialmente piuttosto frettolosa, ma dopo una verifica ci è stato concesso l’ingresso per l’ultima ora. A quel punto, però, la spa risultava poco affollata (erano presenti solo poche coppie), il che ha lasciato un po’ di perplessità sulla gestione delle disponibilità. Piccole accortezze che, se migliorate, renderebbero l’esperienza davvero impeccabile!

Nous avons été surclassés en chambre rénovée sans demander donc très contente moi qui m'étais dit "vu le peu de temps passé en chambre pas nécessaire de payer plus" ! Accueil super sympathique et clair, petit sachet de biscuits alsaciens offert. Propreté parfaite de la chambre. Carafe en verre dans la chambre avec possibilité de se servir à la fontaine à eau sur l'étage. Très joli et vaste hall aéré qui venait d'être décoré pour la saison printanière ! A recommander si vous avez un spectacle au Pavillon de la Musique... c'est pile à côté !

We stayed at this hotel as a group of families, with both adults and children. Before making the reservation, there was no clear information or warning about restrictions related to children. However, after booking, we started receiving multiple messages with rules such as limited swimming pool hours for children and restrictions on where and when they could be present. Once we arrived, we tried our best to follow all the rules, including making a reservation for the pool during the allowed hours. Despite this, we were repeatedly warned by staff while simply spending time with our children. The children were not behaving excessively loud—they were just playing and enjoying themselves in a normal way, as children do. Still, we were approached several times and even told that we might have to leave because of the noise. This made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We could not relax, enjoy our time, or even interact freely with our children without worrying about being warned again. We understand that the hotel may want to maintain a quiet environment, and we respect that. However, this should be made very clear before booking. If such strict rules apply to children, it would be more appropriate for the hotel to clearly state that it is an adults-only or not suitable for families with children. Overall, while the hotel itself is nice, our experience was disappointing due to the lack of transparency and the way the situation was handled.

Das Hotel scheint ein Problem mit dem Abfluss zu haben. Leider hat es in den Zimmern ziemlich stark gestunken… Kein 5-Sterne Hotel!

Das Frühstück war enttäuschend und entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Zudem war der Türrahmen im Badezimmer beschädigt, was bei dem Preisniveau nicht akzeptabel ist. Insgesamt habe ich für diesen Preis deutlich mehr erwartet. Das Essen war außerdem extrem teuer und geschmacklich überhaupt nicht überzeugend. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass uns eine Vorspeise und ein Nachtisch berechnet wurden, obwohl wir diese nicht bestellt hatten. Trotzdem wurden dafür 89 € in Rechnung gestellt – für 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Die Vorspeise bestand lediglich aus einer Box mit Chips und Brot, und der Nachtisch war irgendeine einfache Schokolade. Beides hat uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, sodass wir es komplett stehen gelassen haben. Insgesamt eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.
