Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort

O hotel é excepcional. Fica dentro de um condomínio fechado. É necessário carro para se locomover do quarto até a recepção. Possui uma praia privativa. O apartamento é lindo, muito confortável, todo equipado com utensílios de cozinha. Superou muito as nossas expectativas. Excelente!

Le calme, la sécurité, l'espace "vert" (golf field), le restaurant Lemongrass et son personnel (les dames qui font le service sont vraiment très professionnelles, attentionnées, bienveillantes surtout avec les enfants. Le restau était à deux pas et en plus la nourriture était très bonne). La piscine était bien, partagée mais pas trop de monde en même temps. La plage pas très loin était également top.

Le passage de camions parfois tôt le matin :( et les voitures qui vont parfois vite malgré la limitation (mais je pense que ça l'établissement n'est pas en cause mais les usagers/clients).

Superou todas as expectativas. Ficamos hospedados no The Ivy, em um apartamento completo. Todas as comodidades, localizado em um belíssimo resort com campos de golf, praia particular, restaurantes, bares, entretenimento, parquinho para crianças. Perfeito para férias em família. Toda a equipe foi fantástica em nos receber!

De tv was afgesloten en ivm 110volt konden we zelf niet aankoppelen met 220v. Koffiezetapparaat was stuk, werd meegenomen maar werd niet vervangen voor een nieuwe. Wij zijn erge koffie drinkers, hebben de kamer hier ook deels op uitgekozen en zelfs eigen cups meegenomen. Dit viel dus erg tegen. Het slot was bij aankomst erg moeilijk en uiteindelijk was het helemaal stuk waardoor we er niet inkonden en daardoor niet op tijd konden klaar maken voor een afspraak. Er liggen nergens dikke dekbedden. Vinden het gek dat er aan wordt genomen dat iedereen in warmte slaapt, goed kan slapen met alleen een laken. Dit viel erg tegen, dat zijn wij beide niet gewend en dus erg slecht geslapen.

Troppi lavori in corso e camion che passano la mattina presto vicino alle stanze. Servizio di pulizia giornaliero ma poco flessibile come orario (da noi venivano la mattina presto e se chiedevamo di tornare dopo poi spesso non tornavano).

La playa del lugar sin dudas hermosa, tiene varias opciones de restautant en la playa juegos para ñiños instalaciones de baño.

El anuncio decia con aire acondicionado y te cobraban aparte la electricidad por lo que nos morimos de calor pq te decían que si lo prendías el consumo era carisimo a pagar en la salida. El anuncio decia primera linea de playa pero la distsncia desde el alojamiento a la playa era de 1.5 km por lo que si o si hay que tener auto. Lo elegimos porque pensamos que estaba sobre la playa y no a tanta distancia. Por el costo convenía ir a otro lugar con desayuno total el traslado hasta la playa era lo mismo.

De villa is mooi ingericht en de ruimte is zeer efficiënt ontworpen. De wasmachine en droger is echt fijn als je twee weken verblijft. De villa was schoon, inclusief alle (keuken)apparatuur. De schoonmaakdienst kwam elke dag langs. De verkoeling van het zwembad was heerlijk. Het resort zelf is ook prachtig, met flamingo's langs de golfbaan en een heerlijke baai met goede restaurants en bars.

De geur in de beneden badkamer. het rook naar riool. Als je de toilet doortrok begon het naar rioollucht te ruiken.

Fenomenaal uitzicht op de Caraïbische zee vanop het terras van de penthouse en vanuit de kamers. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel (van kamermeisjes over receptionisten, restaurantpersoneel tot greenkeeper en caddiemaster: top!) Mooie 18 hole championship golf course

The property is beautiful

It shows it as if you were right on the beach or near to the beach, but you aren’t. The property is 200+ acres so I would call to verify that what you’re booking is walking distance from the beach vs having to drive to the beach.

The Good 1. 24-hour security. 2. Excellent location with a private beach and several restaurants and bars within the complex. 3. Spacious rooms. 4. Clean and overall well maintained. 5. Plenty of parking. 6. Comfortable beds, and the showers had great water pressure and consistent hot water. 7. The staff was friendly

Second time staying here, and unfortunately, we won’t be back. We stayed in the Jazmin section. The Bad 1. I made a room request six months in advance and was told it couldn’t be guaranteed, which I completely understood. What was frustrating was finding out from two different employees that my request had never actually been added to my reservation. They even admitted that requests are often overlooked. I showed them the text messages and emails confirming my request, but they still told me nothing had been noted on the reservation. 2. The newly built Jazmin section still has several issues. One bathroom had a broken window lock that was never repaired. All of the bathrooms had an unpleasant odor. The internet connection for the TVs was unreliable. There was no microwave, no toaster, and no “Do Not Disturb” sign. I requested one, but it never arrived. 3. One of the main reasons we paid extra for the Jazmin section was the private plunge pool. Unfortunately, it isn’t heated, and even in July the water was too cold to enjoy. 4. The grill on our patio was old and very small, nothing like the one shown in the photos on the website. 5. This feels more like renting an Airbnb than staying at a resort. There is no room service, no in-room phones to contact the front desk, and all communication has to be done through your personal phone using WhatsApp. 6. Every morning for six consecutive days, I sent a WhatsApp message asking that housekeeping and maintenance not enter our room. Every morning they replied that they would notify housekeeping. Yet every afternoon when we returned, the room had been serviced anyway. Communication between departments is extremely poor. It feels like the property is managed by a real estate management company rather than a hospitality company. There is very little attention to detail, and it’s obvious they lack the experience needed to operate a true resort.

Mooie nieuwe appartementen in the Ivy.

Upgrade van de Garden naar Ivy gekregen om een of andere vage reden. Ivy zijn nieuwe appartementen, terwijl we een The Garden villa geboekt hadden. Ivy appartementen zijn wel veel kleiner dan Garden Villa’s kwamen we later achter, ook bleken de prijzen van Ivy veel lager te liggen in onze periode dan wat we voor the Garden betaald hebben. Daarnaast heb je in het appartement niet gevoel op Curacao te zitten, het zou overal ter wereld kunnen zijn en mist dus dat Caribbean gevoel. Het zwembad bij Ivy heeft overdag geen schaduw wat met kleine kids niet te doen is. Ook zat er een pas voor het BlueBay strand bij maar dit is veel te druk en ook niet genoeg schaduwplekken voor iedereen. Personeel in de horeca heeft er grootste gedeelte van de tijd ook merkbaar geen zin in. Al met al geen BlueBay meer voor ons

Playa maravillosa, la casa preciosa, impecable, espaciosa y muy cómoda, muy amable la gente.

Cada día sale olor a desagüe cuando dan el riego de los jardines. Muy invasivo, ya que el olor se entra a las casas y terrazas. Algo por mejorar sin duda.

El resort es grande y seguro, tiene campos de golf (unos paisajes muy lindos) y una playa espectacular. Me sorprendio que hicieran limpieza diaria.

Die Anlage ist mit einer Schranke und Zugangskontrolle abgegrenzt. Am Strand ist es sehr schön! Mit dem Auto ist man in 15 Minuten in Willemstad. Die Golfanlage ist wunderschön! Die Wohnung war sauber und ordentlich ausgestattet.

Der Pool in unserem Teil war nicht besonders schön. Irgendwie war die Wohnung nur durch Schiebetüren geschlossen. Wenn man also runterkühlen wollte, würde dies schnell wieder verpuffen. Die Anlage ist seeeehr weitläufig :)

El country es muy lindo y la playa divina

La distancia del alojamiento a la playa (imposible ir caminando). En 6 días que estuvimos, solo 2 días hicieron las habitaciones. Se necesita auto hasta para buscar las toallas de playa. Pensamos que estaba frente al mar o a una distancia razonable.

Nice located, very good beach in lagoon - especially with children. Jazmyn villa was very spacious and well equipped, very nice private pool. It’s definitely comfortable to have a car for sightseeing, going to restaurants and to the resort beach. A lot of parking space. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Iguanas and hunting pelicans are interesting attraction on the beach :)

Probably resort is short of housekeeping staff because they were coming to our house sometimes at 9.30 and sometimes at 16.00 which was quite bothersome. Sand on the beach could be cleaned more often (cigarettes, plastic etc.) and beach shower shouldn’t be broken for two weeks. Except for fine-dining Brass Boer restaurants in the resort are nothing special (you can’t find in there menus anything local). If you have a car, go eat outside the resort. It would be nice to have some sport facility for non-golfers and youngsters (eg. volleyball or football pitch). WiFi in house could be better, kind of ruined my fifa World Cup watching experience :) all that are small disadvantages but I try to be constructive and this place, like the whole island, has great potential :)

Prachtig nieuw appartement, mooi en ruimtelijk ingedeeld. Fijn balkon en goede ligging om richting Westpunt of Mambo te gaan.

The beach access from our room was amazing. The food and drinks were tasty

The distance from town, and the patio door lock was broken. There was construction happening near our room which was noisy at times and left a weird junky background for photos.

Voor wie comfort zoekt is locatie blue bay een aanrader: mooie locatie, ruimtelijke opzet van het appartement, de omgeving (compound) en het fijne strand. Appartement was netjes ingericht met goede faciliteiten.

Aantal verbeterpunten: hygiëne kan beter. Dagelijkse (kleine) schoonmaak is top, maar dit is in praktijk vooral de lakens vervangen. Een grote schoonmaak is hard nodig, evenals het jaarlijks meenemen van kleine werkzaamheden als kit- en voegranden, die zien eruit alsof het al jaren niet is gedaan. Dat geeft een vieze uitstraling. Verder is de voorraad servies erg beperkt. We hadden bijvoorbeeld slechts 2 ontbijtschaaltjes in een huis van 4. Als tip zou een wasmachine een meerwaarde zijn.

Heerlijk ruim appartement met een gedeelde zwembad. Wij hadden het geluk dat meerendeel we het zwembad voor onszelf hadden. Top locatie vlak bij het strand waar je heerlijk kunt zonnen, snorkelen en eten en drinken. Personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dagelijks housekeeping (opmaken bedden en verschonen handdoeken) en wekelijks grote schoonmaak.

La plage n’est pas accessible a pied il faut au moins 15mn avec des pentes.la voiture est obligatoire. Une des chambre n’a pas de mur .c'est des persiennes en bois qui n’isolent ni de la lumière ni de la chaleur et surtout du bruit car elle donne directement sur la rue. L'espace commun est très chaud et non climatisé. Si vous ouvrez la porte des chambres la facture d'électricité grimpe très rapidement . Faites très attention au choix de l'appartement.

O apartamento que ficamos era luxuoso e tudo estava bem novo. A vista era incrivel

Absurdo um resort cobrar 5mil dólares a semana e no final da estadia cobrar extra de energia elétrica, sendo que nao constava nas informações da reserva do booking. usamos apenas durante a noite o AC e mesmo assim no final veio a conta. As camareiras nao limpavam adequadamente, muitas vezes sem nem recolher o lixo do local. no primeiro dia, vasculharam a mala da minha irmã e roubaram dinheiro. A Adm demorou dias para posicionar e nos deu um voucher de valor inferior ao furtado. Os restaurantes são limitados e nao vale a pena pegar o cafe da manha incluso porque nao tem opções. O sistema de entrada e saída funciona de acordo com quem esta na portaria, sem critérios de segurança claros. Os apartamentos apesar de serem de luxo tem camas ruins e os utensílios de cozinha também são limitados. Nao haviam facas de corte, por exemplo. Não recomendo, pois é uma hospedagem com preço de resort, mas não entrega resort. Não é seguro. Não é funcional. Cobranças ridículas de energia elétrica e é caro.

Fomos roubados dentro do apartamento! A administração não respondia e não fomos informados até o momento sobre a solução do problema. Pedimos para não ter mais limpeza, mas toda vez que pedíamos toalhas ou reposição de café, tudo demorava muito ou não acontecia. Quando chama a recepção são profissionais e amáveis, porém não são resolutivos. Não vale a pena pegar opção com café da manhã incluído. Os restaurantes são limitados, serviço lento e qualidade duvidosa. Ficamos muito frustrados com a experiência, pois o time de limpeza esteve no apartamento por 1h e mesmo conosco no apartamento, mexeram nas malas e roubaram valores em dinheiro. Lamentável

Locatie en appartement waren top, zwembad was heerlijk en afstand naar oa. strand was goed te doen.

De koelkast had een lekkage waardoor de ijsklontjesmachine het niet deed. Na hierover geïnformeerd te hebben kwam er iemand langs om het waterkraantje van de vriezer dicht te draaien. Plas water onder en op de koelkast werd niets mee gedaan. Daarnaast deed het touchscreen van de oven het dusdanig dat we alleen de grillstand konden gebruiken. Laatste dag hebben we nog even een was gedraaid en in de ochtend ook hier een redelijke lekkage. Dus al met al wel wat te verbeteren op de accomodatie qua apparatuur.

El comentario no es para el hotel, es para booking; al reservar por Booking, este te muestra tres opciones de alojamiento, Brisse que es un hotel, los de vista al jardín, y una villa más amplia y costosa. Resulta que las habitaciones con vista al jardín que tiene disponible Booking son de personas que ha comprado por inversión y el hotel las administra pero no las maneja al 100% es decir, puedes encontrar habitaciones que tienen en mal estados los aires acondicionados y las neveras. Resulta que, según blue bay es mucho mejor quedarse en brisse y no en los aptos con vista al jardín (los cuales son más baratos si reservas directo con Blue bay) y en booking los pagas más caros. Lo ideal en este tipo de resorts es comprar directamente en la página del hotel y no en páginas como Booking porque así te pueeen hacer los cambios más rápidos y puedes obtener una mejor habitación.

excelentes instalaciones (Jazmin), habitaciones super amplias, buenisima la piscina (cada cabaña tiene una), limpieza y atencion del personal, 10 puntos. en la medida en que se pueda por un tema de presupuesto, super recomendable!

Es como un country con canchas de golf y muchos espacios de alojamiento, es realmente hermoso. Su playa es muy bonita, es pequeña como todas las playas de curazao pero muy hermosa y cómoda, hay un bar y restaurante. Nos alojamos en The Garden y los espacios eran espectaculares, lo único que tenías que ir en auto a la playa, no era lejos pero con el calor que hace era más cómodo en auto

El check in fue MUY LENTO, demasiados papeles y trámites para estar en el 2026. El personal dejó bastante que desear, sobre todo en el restaurante una mesera nos contestó de una forma muy inapropiada. En general en Curazao el servicio de la gente no estar bueno, te atienden desganados y son muy lentos. El desayuno es a la carta y es limitado es decir que si quieres tomarte más de 2 bebidas no se puede…. ojo con la electricidad y el agua porque si te pasas te cobran excedente! a veces puede ser incómodo estar cuidándose tanto

Más variedad de fruta en el desayuno falta

Our unit at The Shore was great - everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, it was spacious and had almost everything we needed for a week-long stay. Parking was convenient. Very friendly staff.

Only one key and fob was given, for a unit that fits 6 adults.. we asked for a second, but only got a key (no fob), so beach access had to be coordinated for our group. Every adult should get a fob. Our unit AC would “lock” at certain times, including the warmest part of the day. Should add instructions on how to override this. Hot water for showers was VERY limited. Towel service inconsistent - some days we wouldn’t get hand towels and/or bath mats. Beach towels should be changed everyday. Breakfast included was nice, but repetitive after a few days. Beach staff at bars/restaurant was friendly, but service to the beach was very slow, even when it wasn’t busy. The beach should be “reset” every night to make sure the tables are easy for the staff to find. Beach shower was very dirty, sometimes with standing water pooled at the bottom. Should have a foot wash. Staff is generally nice and trying their best to hep customers, but management could do better. For example, one day to the next we get different answers to the same questions, which means management is not training staff well enough. Even in the course of one chat on WhatsApp, I got several conflicting responses. At the restaurants, staff should be empowered by management to make common sense decisions - for example, if a child wants just the fruit portion of a breakfast dish, or the fruit and yogurt separately, this should be a simple yes.

Hola! Nos gustó mucho el sitio ya que es privado y muy tranquilo. El apartamento perfecto para 3 con todo lo necesario. Su piscina un plus para disfrutar. Tiene acceso a su playa privada y se puede usar las sillas y asoleadoras. La atención de todos es muy buena. Sitio para repetir. En carro muy cerca el Sambil y el supermercado Centrum.

Todo nos gustó. Es importante saber que se recomienda alquilar carro para moverse. Tuvimos unos temas pequeños del apartamento que se solucionaron.

Las instalaciones muy bonitas, el personal nos brindo toda la asesoria sobre el lugar, y muy cerca a las playas de Blue Bay, totalmente limpias y hermosas.

El Blue Bay se encuentra a 20 minutos en vehiculo de Willemstad, un poco retirado..A tener en cuenta que de la entrada del resort a la recepcion es como 25 minutos a pie. Es necesario desde que llegas a Curazao rentar vehículo para moverte dentro de Curazao y el resort, sin problema.

The property was very comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff were excellent. We loved the courtyard and the pool and the short walk to the beach area was perfect for us. The apartment was well equipped and the property was spacious and felt very safe. The reception staff were very helpful.

super luxe en mooi appartement, alles goed afgewerkt en compleet. Uitzicht op zee was prachtig en de infinitypool was heerlijk. Ruim voldoende handdoeken, welkomstpakket.

Er waren ontzettend veel muggen. Ik woon op Curaçao dus muggen zijn mij niet vreemd maar er waren extreem veel muggen aanwezig. Tip om de puntjes op de I te zetten: ijsblokjesbakje voor in de vriezer zou fijn zijn en sterke ventilatoren in alle ruimtes. De ventilator op het terres was niet sterk genoeg om daar iets van te voelen.

Heerlijk groot appartement met rondom shutters die helemaal open kunnen. Kun je mooi van binnen buiten maken. Airco's werken goed en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Zelfs overal rituals om je te verzorgen. Qua strand en resort ook echt heerlijk. Netjes verzorgd allemaal en heerlijk ontbijten aan het strand. Ook qua avondprogramma gezellig vertoeven op het strand.

Beautiful property and great location.

O estilo casa garante mais conforto, tendo mais de 100 metros quadrados e uma boa varanda. Praia do hotel é espetacular, e garante a fuga do caos das praias públicas de Curacao. Condomínio lindo. Estrutural realmente nos pareceu o melhor que há em Curacao.

Tempo de espera do café, que é a la carte, chegou a 1:20h em determinado dia, nunca sendo servido em menos de meia hora, seja na praia, seja na área do golfe. Além disso, a energia disponível é mediante cota, pagando o excesso em casa de uso. Não excedemos, mas faltou clareza antes da reserva. Cama também era muito mole, nos causou certas dores, além dos banheiros que exalavam esgoto e não cessou o odor nos 4 dias que estivemos no hotel.

Zimmerservice war völlig unkoordiniert bezüglich des Zeitpunktes und dem Austausch der Handtücher. Es ist auch nicht besonders toll, dass man extra zu Rezeption muss, wenn man die Strandtücher austauschen möchte.
