Faltó mucha amabilidad al cliente. Only 2 workers were nice, most of them looked grumpy. They need training on how to make the clients to feel welcome! To say good morning or welcoming or have a nice or a good day. Many times I felt afraid to ask for their service, they made me feel they were doing me a favor when they were doing their job. Decir, bienvenido, que le vaya bien o tenga un buen día. La sonrisa y amabilidad debe ser número 1. La mayoría de los empleados son jóvenes de la nueva generación que nos hacen sentir que nos están haciendo un favor al hacer su trabajo. Tienen caras muy serias que da temor pedirles un favor, casi todos ellos son así, yo conté sólo 2 (dos) empleados amables serviciales y con una sonrisa. Los demás parecen estar molestos o enojados, son cortantes. - Durante mi estancia hubo un incidente, los administrativos o nadie nos comunico a los que estuvimos hospedados por varios días, que al día siguiente el lugar y servicio del desayuno sería diferente, ya que tendrían un grupo o una organización desayunando arriba comida buffet. A un señor lo corrieron a desayunar abajo, a mi también y en forma nada amigable. También, los colchones ya están muy viejos y duros. El Hotel Emily necesita una actualización, que los hoteles más nuevos y modernos ofrecen. Por favor NO se CONFORMEN con lo que ofrecen, PUEDEN MEJORAR. Por último, el piso del elevador está sumamente desgastado y sucio, deben poner uno nuevo. Gracias por preguntar nuestra opinión como clientes.

Que está ocasión cerca de la habitación había ruido 11:30pm de un taladro y a las 6am los huéspedes de todo el pasillo comenzaron a hacer ruido y nadie del personal les comentó que tenían que guardar silencio aún a esa hora (eran niños con adultos que parecía una banda de guerra). El colchón ya era demasiado suave comparado con las de otras habitaciones que nos han tocado ahí mismo.

Falto atención, pedimos azúcar y crema para café ☕️ y nos dijeron que no había, eso fue una gran desilusión porque todo el servicio fue excelente, solo este detalle con el encargado de la noche del día sábado, por esta persona echaron a perder la atención. Ojalá pongan una solución para ésto que es una tontería por ka cual no nos sentimos atendidos.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Location was perfect for exploring the historical centre of Pachuca, and as a base for tours outside of the city. There are many restaurants and shops and the local market in and near the zocalo where the hotel is located. There is also a popular restaurant in the hotel itself, especially for breakfast. We walked (10 min) to attend a Luche Libre show. The local bus depot is a 5 min walk away, where we caught a combi bus to visit Real de Monte (mine and town) and Hidalgo Magico (basaltic columns park). The trip to Tolantongo Hot Springs (fabulous) was a 2.5 hr scenic drive into the mountains each way, booked online and with pickup at the hotel. The main bus depot is a 15 min taxi ride from the hotel. This is a beautiful historic hotel with a grand lobby and spacious, clean rooms. Drinking water (for refilling bottles) is available on the 2nd floor landing. We had a comfortable, quiet sleep. The front rooms, overlooking the clock tower and zocalo may be noisier on market nights. We highly recommend a traditional, historic restaurant very near the hotel, La Blanca. We also recommend taking the wooden tram for a tour of the city, which includes the Cristo Rey statue and geo-park viewpoint.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026El mejor hotel ubicado en el Centro de la ciudad, por un poco mas con vista al reloj emblemático de esta ciudad, el bell boy super atento junto con la recepcionista en turno fueron muy buenos guías de turista. las camas y almohadas a si como todas las cobijas no pasamos fríos!
Lo único malo fuera de lo hermoso del hotel el Reloj emblemático sonaba cada 15 o media hora durante toda la noche.

Todo estuvo bien. Quiza cuidar el mantenimiento de las regaderas, para que no se salga o se desperdicie agua. Pero es un detalle minimo.

Reviewed May 7, 2025The Hotel Emily is the best choice in the historic district located on Plaza de la Independcia and a few blocks from Plaza de la Constitusion, the heart of the old town. If you are visiting Pachuca to discover the history of this fine old gold and silver mining town, this is the place to be. Nice reasonably prices on site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and several others nearby.
Our room had a great view of the old clock tower and lively plaza. Windows open for fresh air which is a plus. Although clean, the room and bathroom are exceedingly small. The room has adequate blackout curtains but there are several appliances with standby lights that may require a light sleeper to wear a sleep mask. There is a dangerous ledge entering the bathroom and the rug-tile separator is high. Wear flip flops!
