Very comfortable, spacious room and the hotel is in a very quiet location. Lovely facilities at hotel which was a short walk to the beach and several restaurants in the area as well as having its own Italian restaurant. The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice.

The only downside is the air conditioning unit makes an intermittent buzzing noise when in use.

Great hotel, spacious rooms, good pool and friendly staff. Location was accessible to all places.

Gostei de tudo!!! Desde as instalações, ao atendimento dos funcionários, aos serviços disponíveis no hotel e localização. O pequeno almoço tem qualidade e muita variedade. A área da piscina é bastante agradável, com muito espaço ao redor e um bar de apoio. A decoração do hotel, tanto dos quartos como das áreas comuns, é muito bonita. Os funcionários são simpáticos e muito prestáveis.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet établissement du 4 au 6 août. Malheureusement, nous sommes repartis très déçus par le service. À plusieurs reprises, les cocktails ont été servis avec des verres remplis bien en dessous du niveau habituel. Lorsque nous en avons demandé la raison, on nous a répondu que c’était volontaire afin qu’ils soient « plus concentrés », alors que le prix restait exactement le même. Le pire s’est produit lors de notre dernier repas. Nous étions une famille de 10 personnes, avec des enfants, et durant tout notre séjour, nous avons régulièrement consommé au sein de l’hôtel et toujours laissé des pourboires au personnel. Je me suis rendu au comptoir pour ajouter un café et deux digestifs, ce qui portait l’addition à environ 335 €. J’ai demandé à l’employé de débiter 340 €, en laissant ainsi 5 € de pourboire. Cependant, il m’a présenté le terminal avec un montant de 350 €. Je lui ai signalé l’erreur, mais j’ai finalement accepté de payer les 350 €, laissant ainsi 15 € de pourboire. De retour à notre table, nous nous sommes aperçus qu’il manquait toujours un café. Lorsque je l’ai signalé, plusieurs employés ont insisté sur le fait que je n’avais jamais commandé ce café, alors que c’était précisément la raison pour laquelle je m’étais rendu au comptoir afin de faire modifier l’addition. Le problème n’a jamais été le prix d’un café. Ce qui m’a le plus déçu, c’est le manque de professionnalisme et de considération envers le client. De simples excuses ou un petit geste commercial auraient suffi à régler la situation. Au lieu de cela, j’ai eu le sentiment que personne ne voulait reconnaître qu’une erreur avait pu être commise. C’est vraiment dommage de terminer notre séjour sur une telle impression.

No es un hotel de cinco estrellas, 5*. Es más bien un cuatro estrellas 4*. Habitación muy pequeña, enana. De hecho, en el plano estaba marcada como una habitación individual. No se corresponden servicios y atención a un cinco estrellas. No repetiré.

Frühstück war top. Personal sehr freundlich. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Parkplätze musste reklamieren weil wir hatten eine behinderte Person dabei gehbeeinträchtig. Aber der Behinderten Parkplatz war immer besetzt von Personen ohne Behinderung war denen auch egal. Der Parkplatz war nahe an der Rezeption und ganz im Schatten. Habe es dann auf meine Art geklärt.

Hotel bem localizado, perto da praia mas em zona calma. Pessoal bastante simpático e prestável. Bom pequeno almoço, em quantidade, variedade e qualidade.

L'emplacement assez proche de la plage mais dans une zone assez tranquille. La piscine est sympa et assez calme. Les linges de piscines top. La personne de l'accueil sympathique. La gentille attention pour mon anniversaire. Le lit tres tres confortable.

Le bar de l'hôtel. Chère et personnel légèrement dépassé par 2 commandes. Les installations autour de la piscine. Carlage qui sautent bancs du bar extérieur totalement déchirés. Petit déjeuner bien mais tout de même 18euro.

O quarto era muito espaçoso, bonito, limpo e confortável. A piscina é muito bonita e o serviço do bar foi ótimo. O restaurante é excelente! (Mas deve-se efetuar a reserva pois o espaço é pequeno)

Nada, foi tudo ótimo! Sugestão de melhoria seria incluir alguns brinquedos para criança no jardim atrás da piscina como opção de entretenimento para famílias com filhos.

We stayed at this hotel from August 4 to August 6. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed with the level of service. On several occasions, the cocktails were served only half full. When we asked why, we were told it was intentional because they were “more concentrated”, yet we were still charged the full price. The worst experience happened during our last dinner. We were a family of 10 people, including children, and throughout our stay we regularly ate and drank at the hotel, always leaving tips for the staff. I went to the bar to add one extra coffee and two digestifs to our bill, bringing the total to around €335. I asked the waiter to charge €340, leaving a €5 tip. Instead, he handed me the payment terminal with €350. I pointed out the mistake, but told him it was fine and accepted paying €350, leaving a €15 tip instead. When we returned to the table, we realized that the extra coffee had never been served. When I mentioned it, several staff members insisted that I had only paid for one coffee, even though the only reason I had gone to the bar was to add that extra coffee and the two digestifs to the bill. The issue was never the price of a coffee. What disappointed me most was the lack of professionalism and customer care. A simple apology or a small goodwill gesture would have resolved the situation immediately. Instead, no one was willing to acknowledge that a mistake may have been made. It is a real shame to end an otherwise pleasant stay with such a poor final impression.

O hotel sofreu melhorias e está excelente. Os quartos têm novo mobiliário, muito moderno e confortável. Gostei de disponibilizarem água, chá e café. A piscina continua excelente e o bar/restaurante de apoio funciona muito bem e com muitas opções. Utilizei a sala de fitness e foi uma mais valia.

I wanted a hotel with easy in-out parking and in a quiet part of Figueira da Foz. And with excellent A/C since it was summer in Portugal. The Malibu Hotel met our needs as the room was comfortable with a coffee maker and kettle and quiet at night. The public areas are relaxing though we never got to use the pool. Parking is outside around the back. The air conditioning was individual units in each room so we could set the temperature via remote as we wish. Breakfast had a very good fresh selection of food and drink to start each day. Overall a perfect weekend stay in a less touristy part of town.

As you can see on Google Maps, it's a bit of a walk to the main part of town and the large beach in Figueira da Foz. I didn't mind the walk but it can be uphill back at times. They have a cozy cinema room (didn't see any schedule of films) and a cigar bar (I don't smoke so would have preferred something else). The staff were friendly and helpful after our first room had a problem where the door lock didn't work and we insisted on changing rooms.

O jacuzzi não funcionava como tal e a limpeza da piscina estava aquém das expectativas. O facto de ter passado várias vezes no lobby do hotel e não estar ninguém na recepção é um ponto negativo. Tivemos que nos fazer notar para que alguém viesse nos atender. A informação era mecanizada, quase como debitada para despachar os clientes não havendo um cuidado personalizado aos clientes. Penso ser fruto de um staff demasiado novo e ainda mal preparado para um hotel de 5 estrelas. Devem melhorar os pormenores no atendimento e nos pequenos detalhes.

Nowhere to walk to

Clean and modern, we really appreciated the "Malibu style" of interior design. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of choices. Did not have time to explore restaurant, pool bar or pool. Perfect with designated hotel parking.

AC was noisy and woke us up during the night. The five star rating perhaps a bit too generous...

Tout est absolument parfait, des équipements à la déco, la propreté, les petites attentions de courtoisie, sans oublier le personnel qui est d’une gentillesse remarquable. C’est la 2ème fois que je viens dans cet hôtel, j’y reviendrai.

Отель хотя и построен очень давно, но проведен современный качественный ремонт. Ничего не отваливается, не торчит, как это часто бывает в португальских отелях. В номере есть все необходимые вещи - от зубной щетки до тряпочки для обуви, что тоже приятно. Идеальная чистота, что внутри номеров и отеля, так и около бассейна. Мастерам чистоты однозначно 5 баллов. Бассейн тоже чистый, температура воды при воздухе 25 градусов была достаточно комфортная

Завтрак был разнообразный - сыры, колбасы, яйца, сладости, но не было чего-то интересного, что бы приготовил сам отель. Все из магазина.

No pool season, no several activities available as announced on booking, they told all of them are seasonal and are closed or unavailable. So the main reason I booked that expensive hotel was the activities and entertainment moments that did not occur. It was a deception.

Very clean and staff very helpful

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The facilities, atmosphere, and overall experience were wonderful, and one of the main reasons we chose it was because it welcomes dogs, which we truly appreciated. We traveled with our pets and were very grateful that the hotel accepts them.

However, our experience with the staff regarding this policy was somewhat inconsistent. While several team members were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely pet-friendly, others did not seem as comfortable or accommodating around dogs. Because the hotel promotes itself as pet-friendly, we believe it would be beneficial to ensure that all staff members embrace and support that philosophy in a consistent way. That said, our stay was excellent overall, and we would gladly return. With a more uniform approach toward guests traveling with pets, the experience could be even more exceptional.

Malibu Foz Hotel in Figuera de Foz, Portugal is a beautiful hotel that has been completely renovated about six years ago. It is a quick walk to the beach and is centrally located to everything you need. The moment you walk in, the staff greet you with smiles and attentive Service. The decoration is blonde wood, White, and light blue, making it the perfect color scheme to welcome you to the beach. They have the best rooms in all of Figuera de Foz, with beautiful decoration, spotless rooms, balconies and the most comfortable bed!!! Showers are large and easy walk in. The bathroom is spacious and spotless. The lobby has spacious areas to relax, while there are rooms to keep the kids entertained with a playroom and a movie room with cinema seating. The onsite restaurant serves Italian inspired food with Portuguese favorites. All delicious! The wine and cocktails are amazing, the passionfruit gin, and tonic cocktail is a must try! The pool is huge with a large shallow end for younger kids to play. This is a must visit hotel, you will be impressed!!!

This is our second time staying here, and once again it has been an excellent experience. The hotel, facilities, and staff are all outstanding. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit.
