Pomeroy Hotel Fort St. John

Great location decent price, nice rooms

The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating.

Our room was dirty. There was leftover food from a previous stay in the fridge. The pullout couch for my son was filthy. The bathroom counter hadn't been wiped. There was missing light bulbs in the lamps. The pillows we're hard and lumpy. The bed bowed. This hotel is in serious need of a renovation. There were obvious razor marks on the counter tops as well. Use your imagination.

Breakfast, patio,

Pillows mishaped

Great staff cleaned the room daily

Great breakfast. Best I've come across.

Breakfast included and voucher for the casino!

The location is perfect

The bed was worn out. A little lumpy/uneven

This is always our go-to overnight stay when we want to go to Fort St. John to see a show. The staff are always friendly, service is quick, breakfast is great, rooms are clean.

Property was clean and the staff were very polite. Breakfast was a good start to the day.

The fan in the room kept coming on at intervals durning the night.

Nice location

Nothing

-I love the breakfast, great quality and many food options fresh daily. -I like the patio that was attached to the rm. It made our stay more accommodating to our needs with our pets. Very unique feature to find in any hotel, really. Ive stayed in a 2 bdrm suite with a full patio but was pleased to discover the standard double Queen rm also had a patio option at no extra charge. -The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean, we moved a piece of furniture for better use of the space and underneath was very very clean which was a pleasant surprise. -House keeping was very thorough, I had asked just one bed be changed but they did a complete room clean refreshing the linens, removing garbage and even vacuuming as my little puppy had chewed up some toilet paper and their were little pieces on the floor. Full washing of the washroom as well. When we got back to our room it was very nice to have had full service in the room part way thru our stay.

-The pool was down for service which we had been immensely looking forward to. -The complimentary casino cards expire daily if you do not use them that day, it would be nice to have the option to use them at our leisure without any restrictive placement on them. -The pillows in this particular suite were not the greatest for comfort, they were bulky and hurt my neck one night. But ive stayed in a few other rms here and did not have this same opinion prior to this one. -The shower rod in the rm was a bit droopy and the curtain would slide a little open unable to stay near the wall, I informed house keeping to inform maintenance apon my departure that it needed tightening.

I loved the lady than spent the night with me ! It’s been awhile b we still love one another jus as much by te passion and ? We made that night all nigh ❤️ I hope that ain’t to much info ! But just being honest about the stay

Conveniently located close to my Xmas party

I requested a room looking over the parking lot but got a view of the back parking lot

Closeness to our venue

Clean big room

The view from my room, big wall

Nice breakfast, clean facilities.

Location and everything needed.

Casino

Breakfast was great, Just Jacks serves good food. Was able to get tea from breakfast room because there was not any offered in the room. Got a room facing the parking lot to keep an eye on the parking lot.

Decaf tea offered at coffee table in library.

Every thing exceeded our expectations cept our car got broke into

Pool was great for the kids, they loved the slide. Lots of parking and is close to restaurants

Clean

Next to casino. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice pool

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Great breakfast and coffee available all through the day and night.

Convenience

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff was great

Great location and dining options! The rooms really need a makeover! That being said it is clean!

Everything was good

Good breakfast

We found this hotel to be very comfortable, safe, clean, courteous staff the gentleman that was working at the front counter when we arrived was exemplary and when we needed something brought to our room, he brought it up for us so we would like to recognize that we didn’t realize he was gone this morning when we left or we would’ve told him ourselves.

One stop shop for business traveller

Nice place to be

It’s a bit out of the way, but my room was clean, I had a double bed with

Enjoyed the stay. Overall, a very good property. Room was spacious and clean with a good supply of amenities.

Nice & clean hotel, good breakfast, great pool with a water-slide. Excellent location close to shopping, restaurants and casino. The staff was professional and helpful. Nothing to complain. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

Always a good place to stay

We always stay at pomeroy all the time it’s are desired place to stay, but are stay was terrible and we don’t like to complain it’s not us. But we stayed in room 425. We get in the room and the washroom toilet wasn’t cleaned it had dirty rims all over toilet and just dirty. Then later in that night returned to room and there was a big blood stain on comforter so we didn’t use comforter that night. Next day we went to have shower and the body wash in shower was empty. Just thankful they had shampoo and conditioner. We had a good breakfast then checked out the front end manager asked us about our stay we told her nice lady she said since we booked online she can’t reimburse us but she gave us her card and said let me know next time you come back and I’ll upgrade your room, a free stay next time would be great. But it’s still a great hotel just had bad luck that day I guess. See you next month pomeroy

Room was clean. Staff very accommodating as we had to extend our stay.

Looked like blood on the duvet, not sure, was weird.

Breakfast was the best included breakfast of any hotel I have stay at.

Great room, restaurant attached. Plenty of parking and centrally located

The breakfast was fantastic!!

Casino

Safety issues

Complementary breakfast and casino vouchers were worth almost as much as the cost of the room. Jacuzzi was clean and well maintained. Staff were courteous and polite

Both elevators were out of service the first 2 days of our stay

Very nice property, pool and breakfast were good. Room is clean and decent size. Elevator is not working when we were there and so with the vending machine. Other than that, It is a nice experience

Great front end staff

The beds were clean but the bathroom and the floors could have been cleaner. Also the pool, hot tub, and pool deck were all quite dirty. Walking around the pool deck and in the pool was gross. All staff was nice though.

Great

It was close to lots

Breakfast was fresh hot and delicious. Coffee was outstanding! Will definitely stay there again.

Room was quiet and comfortable. Beds were rather soft, without much support. The bathroom moisture vent fan is very dirty and did not pull steam out

easy parking even for large vehicles, amazing food, so clean!

the balcony was a bit like a jail

Allergy inducing older furnishings, less than ideal area and clientele.

The pool was a little cold

After staying in about eight places in the past 2 weeks, this was one that had one of the best values to it. The only questionable thing was the homeless coming in and joining in the continental breakfast. I felt sorry for th guy who had to deal with it.

Poorly stocked room no glasses or coffee cups or wine glasses no napkins or dish cloths only 2 towels with 3 guests staying non working hair dryer, ironing board broken. pull out bed very worn and sooo uncomfortable we had to borrow a friend in towns foamy the hotel should have foamy to use in these cases. I wouldn’t suggest staying here again

A great place to stay

Already mention what I liked above

All good at the end of day 1 of work trip.

all is good

First time at a Pomeroy and it was wonderful. Every room is spacious. The breakfast bar is carpeted so no screeching chair noise. The bacon and sausage are great. Regular scrambled eggs or with green onions. Sliced peaches, pears, oranges and melons. Pastries. Bagels, bread and pancakes. Large room with plenty of room between tables. Although is closes at 8:30 on weekdays and 9 on weekends. I would like it 1/2 to 1 hour later like most other hotels. Bedroom was large, modern and clean and had full crown molding. Easy to operate and responsive thermostat. Good shower pressure. The guide and info buttons on the TV remote did not work. Got a paper channel guide from the office but it was a bit inaccurate. Overall it was a very impressive hotel.

Amazing motel. Would definitely recommend! Clean motel and comfortable stay. Would stay again!!!!

all good

Convenient access, very good breakfast, Nice large rooms. Clean. And they provide daily room cleaning!

Would not recommend this property . Cleanliness lV.zap
