De ligging aan de boulevard

Wij hadden een kamer die nog voor de hotel entree aan de zijkant zat. De kamer was erg klein en zeer warm. Er zaten wel 2 raampjes, maar die zaten dus aan de straatkant (grensden direct aan de openbare weg) en de rolluiken konden of helemaal open of helemaal dicht. (Dicht dus dan). Daarnaast zat het personeel heel vroeg in de ochtend precies voor die raampjes uitgebreid te roken en te klagen samen met een harde stem. Nadat zij erop gewezen werden dat wij nog sliepen, gingen zij hier vrolijk mee door. De mevrouw aan de receptie die ons ontving was uitermate bot en niet gastvrij. Wat ons betreft het geld niet waard. De tweede nacht hebben we dan ook geannuleerd.

Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds and clea room. The location is beautiful right on the beach, accessible on foot from the traiin station and close to the old town.

We were staying for one night on our way back to the UK (by ferry). We were met at reception and everything was very clearly explained. We wanted to go to the beach for a swim as we had arrived before the 3pm check in time but were able to park our car (for a charge) in a private gated parking area. As we had booked a 'family room' I was expecting a room with a double and two singles but it turned out to be an apartment with dual aspect balconies, one of which looked across the road to the sea (yes there was a building but it didn't detract from the view). We were able to have cocktails in the restaurant of the hotel (100m away) while our children relaxed in the room, go to the beach (20m away) and find a good restaurant 'Le Dock' which did steak and chips and good cocktails (a 15 minute walk away). All in all an excellent experience.

We arrived a 2pm for a 3pm check in and unfortunately the room wasn't ready until about 3.40 but that didn't matter to us as we were happy on the beach. Breakfast was expensive at 18 euros but delicious. If we had wanted to go cheap there was a cafe down the road.

Rommet vi fikk var fint og romslig. Utsikten fra den ene balkongen er mot sjøen.

Sidebygningen og oppgangen der rommet ligger er veldig gammelt, og ikke på den koselige måten. Og utsikten fra den andre balkongen er mot en sliten bakgård og parkeringsplass Også resepsjonen og frokostområdet har en viss Fawlty Towers/70-talls-feeling. Innsjekkinga blei nesten to timer forsinka i forhold til det som var oppgitt. I stedet for å forklare hvorfor det var sånn, gikk vi bare beskjed om å vente lenger.

Das Zimmer war etwas eng und konnte nicht gut gelüftet werden. Obwohl die Temperaturen nicht zu hoch waren, war es im Zimmer sehr stickig.

Die Lage ist super, das Zimmer ist sehr klein, aber sauber und der Zimmerservice ist perfekt. Empfehlenswert sind Zimmer zum Strand, einige haben einen Balkon oder Terrasse.

Unser Zimmer ging leider zur Straße, die sehr laut ist und unter uns befand sich wahrscheinlich der Trockner, der sehr geräuschvoll bis in die Nacht lief.

In 15 Min. zu Fuss in Saint Malo. Ausstattung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber.

Wir hatten schon freundlicheres Personal in Hotels..

Die Lage ist sehr gut, in einem Viertel mit sehr schönen Wohnhäusern u direkt an der Promenade des Plage du Silon. Zu Fuss ist man in 15min in der Altstadt von St Malo Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer mit Meerblick ist atemberaubend! Das Meeresrauschen fasziniert u das Spiel der Gezeiten sowieso! Zimmer ist sauber, Bad sehr geräumig, Terrasse im 1. Stock ein Traum! Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend. Mitarbeiter vorallem am Empfang sehr freundlich u sprechen gut Englisch!

Insgesamt ist der Platz überall sehr eng bemessen im Haus, aber das trifft wohl vorallem die Mitarbeiter. Mein Zimmer, hatte höhere Kategorie war ok, aber zu zweit doch etwas beengt, darauf in jedem Fall bei der Buchung achten!

My husband and I have stayed at Le Beaufort many times over many years. At our last stay about two years ago we were delighted that the breakfast room had become a little restaurant with very good food. This time my husband was not able to come and I brought my cousin from Germany. We were both disappointed about the food, also at breakfast time. Another couple, who had also stayed many times before, said the same. Having said this, the service was as always very good and very friendly. Another less important issue was the background music, which was mainly some ghastly "techno" sound. The guests of your hotel are mostly older, so why not have a bit of old fashioned French music or some soft jazz?

La vue magnifique depuis la fenêtre sur l'Océan et la Plage. Le personnel très gentil et accueillant. La salle de déjeuner qui jouxte la plage. La salade de fruits fraîche.

Le parking est à l'extérieur de l'hôtel dans une rue parallèle et il est très petit et peu pratique d'accès. La place de chargement/déchargement devant l'hôtel est systématiquement occupée, donc très difficile pour décharger ou charger ses valises... Chambre petite et vieillotte. Absence de bouilloire dans la chambre, malgré sa mention dans le descriptif...

My wife and I very much enjoyed our 3-night stay at Hotel le Beaufort. The old-style room was simple, compact and comfortable and, without exception, every staff member was helpful and engaging. This is a straightforwardly delightful place to stay, right on the sea-front and within a 10-minute walk to "intra muros".St.Malo. Altogether recommended for convenience and genuine hospitality.

We had booked 1 bedroom for family of 4 x but when we got there it was 2 rooms, which wasn’t too bad as they were next to each other so not so bad

J’ai aimé son charme, le goût des belles choses intemporelles comme les nappes sur les tables du restaurant, les théières argentées…tout y est cocooning.. Le service est exceptionnel. Compétence, convivialité toujours. Et le spectacle de la mer évidemment.

Mais j’ai tout aimé ! J’ai trouvé mon hôtel.

Votre gentillesse et votre professionnalisme ont vraiment fait la différence ! La vue depuis la chambre est fantastique , quel plaisir de s'endormir et se réveiller au son des vagues Propreté et literie impeccables, rien à redire .

En raison des fractures aux jambes de ma femme , entrer et sortir de la baignoire a été difficile et peu sécurisé, nous aurions préféré une douche

The room, while small, had a great view of the beach and the ability to open the windows and breathe in the sea air was heavenly. We had a lovely walk to the old part of St. Malo along the beach and enjoyed it every single time. The hotel is as described and very charming! Breakfast was very nice and I appreciate the eggs made to order.

The deep tub is a challenge to get in and out of. The shower gel, shampoos, etc are too small and we had to buy those items at the pharmacie. Other than that, this a perfectly positioned hotel for those travelers looking to explore Saint Malo.

The fact that the hotel was literally on the promenade above a huge and gorgeous beach, and that having a room on the water side would have been a huge plus, but it was still a great experience.

La chambre pour famille Numéro 5 est inacceptable! Il s’agit d’un couloir en cave sous les cuisines et la réception. Le bruit de l cuisine ou équipement technique est insupportable. La chambre manque d’air (un comble en bord de mer…), hauteur sous plafond inférieure à 2 mètre, on sent les ressorts de la literie

Nous étions une famille de 5 et avons séjourné dans l appartement qui se trouve à 150m de l hôtel. Très bon rapport qualité prix et vue mer, superbe! Personnel très accueillant !

This is a quaint little boutique hotel on the beach. Our room was on the street side which wasn't bad as far as noise. Our room was very small but the bed was very comfortable, it took up almost the whole room. We were only there for one night so this was not bad. The breakfast was allot of pastries and some fruits and cereal, nothing hot. We really enjoyed the views of the ocean and beach. The staff were all friendly.

The only complaint would be the size of the room.

The staff were outstanding — respectful, kind, and always ready to help. They arranged an early check-in, found an emergency vet for my dog, and even helped when I needed roadside assistance. My ground-floor seafront room was clean, spacious, and ideal for accessibility. Beautiful location right on the promenade — perfect for walks. The food was good, though the menu could use a bit more variety. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe and cared for. A genuinely wonderful stay — I’ll definitely return.
