Casa D'Este - Hotel Ferrara

The hotel was outstanding, elegant and comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We loved the hotel bikes for exploring the city. The hotel’s restaurant was an unexpected pleasure.

Nothing to not like.

bellissimo! estrema cortesia del personale, colazione meravigliosa e ambienti molto eleganti. Posizione perfetta.

Posizione ottima, colazione super, bagno pulito e buone dimensioni.

Conforto & Limpeza

This hotel was elegant in design with marble floors and Italian tiles and a bathroom out of an interior design magasin. With a coupon of €10 we parked our car just around the corner. Restaurants were just minutes away with a wide variety of foods. Excellent gelato store also. Looking for cashmere sweaters….. a tiny boutique has a great selection. The architecture in Ferrare is very beautiful and the city is clean. The breakfast at the hotel was extraordinary will a menu a la carte of omelet’s, etc and of course traditional croissants and tartes….juices, cereal also. I give this hotel full 10.

Every thing. A spectacularly designed hotel with an unbelievable staff. An amazing experience. One needs to have dinner at the on site restaurant. An amazing and creative

La posizione

The location was perfect.

I chose a larger and more expensive room—a Junior Suite—rather than the cheaper option, specifically to ensure my parents, who are over 75 and need to rest for health reasons, had greater comfort. This was particularly important during their stay in Ferrara, where temperatures exceeded 35°C. Unfortunately, their only full day was seriously affected because the room was not cleaned until after 4:00 p.m. They requested cleaning at 11:00 a.m. and again at 4:00 p.m., but had to leave the room while waiting and were unable to rest. On the morning of check-out, I personally called the hotel to complain about the poor service. They offered an additional hour for check-out, but I explained that this was insufficient, as my parents had a train at 4:00 p.m. I asked the lady I spoke to to discuss the matter internally and come back with other options that could be discussed directly with my parents. This never happened: my parents were not contacted, no alternative remedy was offered, and my phone call was not even mentioned at check-out. This behaviour was very shady. I was flabbergasted, therefore I followed-up with the hotel again, only then hotel apologised and offered a €100 voucher. However, this is a convenient solution for the hotel, not for us, as we have no intention of returning. More importantly, a voucher does not compensate for the fact that the room we paid extra for was unavailable when my parents needed it, nor for the failure to follow up on my complaint. This was also shared, but not understood. I appreciate the apology, but the experience fell well below the standard I expected when choosing a more expensive room for my parents’ comfort.

Déco splendide, chambre et espaces communs. Vue impressionnante sur le château. Petit déjeuner délicieux

Great location, excellent service, delicious breakfast, very nice room and bed. Great modern design.

Everything was perfect

Decoration, location and staff

No nearby parking but understand because it's in the historical zone of the city.

Well situated in the historical centre. The room was confortable. The breakfast was good, typical of an Italian hotel. The situation of the hotel was perfect for visiting Ferrara and there were very good restaurants around. We used the parking voucher supplied by the hotel and found a space very near to the hotel.

Great location, spotlessly clean and stylish rooms with great staff

Posizione eccezionale Struttura bella

The location was excellent, right across the street from the castle. The staff was excellent, extremely helpful. The breakfast was very tasty with excellent service.

The bathroom was a little tight, and the bathroom fan was very loud. The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting and had weak signal. My room was in the secondary building, not the main building.

Exceptional location, comfortable room

Arriving v. difficult as so many streets were closed at the time. Parking was some way away and again, had to drive miles to get back to the hotel

gutes Frühstück, Fahrradmiete umsonst, alles bestens

Tranquillité, confort, situation exceptionnelle, accueil.

Rien.

Amazing service. Beautiful decor. Spacious rooms. Good breakfast . Location

Absolutely notjing

Spacious and light room, very clean, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast is amazing and the staff are friendly. The location is perfect — in the city centre, close to the museums and to good restaurants.

A few things could be better. The hot water in the shower has low pressure. At breakfast it was not clear that some dishes are not on the buffet and you have to order them from the waiter — nobody told us this. The hotel offers bicycles for free, but they are in poor condition: the tires were almost empty, some parts were loose, and all bikes are the same size, which is not comfortable for a person of 1.8 m.

Posizione perfetta, camera adeguata e SPA molto carina

Can’t beat this location!

Comoda

Posizione. Camera spaziosa.

Colazione. Temperatura zone comuni

Staff professionale e gentilissimo, camera accogliente, molto pulita. Letto comodissimo. Posizione meravigliosa, davanti al castello. Ristorante davvero ottimo.

Mi è piaciuto tutto.

Posizione perfetta, quasi di fronte al castello. Arredi meravigliosi, stanze spaziose e personale gentilissimo.

Direkt am Castello, noble Ausstattung, super Frühstück, sauber, zuvorkommend

Torneremo sicuramente

Struttura nuova e ben curata. Camera spaziosa, pulita e con tutti i comfort. Posizione perfetta al centro di Ferrara. Colazione squisita.

Friendly and professional staff who were eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Amazing location, right across from the castle and close to the old town. Very comfortable facilities and rooms. Excellent breakfast. An all round great hotel and good value for money.

Struttura in pieno centro. Pulita e nuova

Bell’ambiente e portiere notturno Top

Posizione eccezionale, staff cortese e competente, struttura rinnovata e moderna.

Lovely, clean, and comfortable room in an excellent central location. A great place to stay, with everything conveniently close by.

Odlicna lokacija, ljubazno osoblje, odlican dorucak.

Location is fantastic. Mostly friendly staff who allowed us to leave our luggage when we arrived early.

There are tea & coffee making facilities in the room but no milk. If you want milk, I was told the cost is €10 for a small jug!!!! Unacceptable!
