Eden Hotel, Apartments and Chalet Chamonix Les Praz

We stayed here for 3 nights., but wish we had more time to stay here. The surroundings were absolutely breathtaking — every room in our apartment offered an extraordinary view of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were large, spotless, and very well equipped. Parking was available on the street, and the cable car to Mont Blanc was only a 10‑minute drive away. The size and atmosphere of the place make it an excellent choice for any type of stay in Chamonix. A special thanks to the lady at the reception, who provided us with invaluable local tips — the kind of information you won’t find online, only from someone who truly knows the area. Highly recommended.

In der Nacht hat man den Zug wirklich nicht gehört.

Nicht für Motorräder geeignet. Durften unser Motorrad nicht seitlich vom Hotel, wo es echt nicht gestört hätte, abstellen. Haben uns entscheiden müssen es entweder um 20€ in die Tiefgarage zu stellen oder es auf der Straße abzustellen. Haben uns für die Straße zwischen den Autos entschieden. Angekettet an einer Laterne. Um 7:34 hörte man den ersten Zug. An ein weiterschlafen war nicht mehr zu denken.

An absolute gem of a hotel, cannot recommend enough. When the room description noted views of Mt Blanc we didn’t realise it was going to be that panoramic! Entire hotel must have had a recent upgrade and was beautifully modern yet still true to its original architecture. Fantastic staff with fantastic customer service!

nice Apartment Chalet with Mount Blanc view. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Kitchen and living was not cleaned. But at all really comfortable stay.

El apartamento era muy amplio , estaba impecable , tenía cocina completa , un baño grande con lavaropas e hidromasaje (que no usamos) la cama muy grande y cómoda, un patio trasero con vistas a las montañas !

Que no tiene ascensor al ser un edificio antiguo , si bien a nosotros nos tocó en planta baja fue pura casualidad y de haber sido en alguno de los pisos de arriba lo hubiéramos padecido porque llevábamos maletas grandes .

Hôtel au pied de la ligne de train (Le bruit du train et du passage à niveau à 20 mètres de 6h30 à 23h) . Le personnel pas avenant ni arrangeant. Pas de parking gratuit, stationnement difficile dans la rue. Le ménage moyen (moquette tachée, toiles d'araignées, poussière dans la pelle non vidée). Une paire de chaussures usagées dans l'armoire.

Great location and comfortable room. Nice outdoor area and breakfast room and bar.

The property is very loud. We could hear conversations of our next door neighbors. It’s also right next to the train tracks and the express train rattles the building. But if you don’t mind the noise it’s a great hotel for the price.

Nous ne recommandons pas le petit déjeuner, et nous n’avons pas pu garer notre voiture au parking par manque de bip. La chambre était moyennement nettoyé, poussière sur les tables de nuits + traces dans les toilettes. Chambre pour 4 très petites

Le Signore alla reception erano molto gentili.

La camera non era quella che abbiamo prenotato e questo mi è dispiaciuto tantissimo. Era più piccola e non aveva la finestra velux. La finestra aveva una altezza del davanzale molto bassa e non aveva nessuna protezione anticaduta, la trovo veramente pericolosa, e tra l’altro non restava aperta e si sochiudeva da sola. La porta d’ingresso aveva una chiusura automatica troppo dura e si faceva fatica aprirla ed entrare in un anticamera strettissimo con le travi in legno inclinate che disturbano ingresso di una persona alta come me con le valigie in entrambe le mani. Per salire al terzo piano bisognava superare 3 rampe di scale molto scomode e ripide, direi quasi pericolose. Non avevamo parcheggio disponibile, abbiamo parcheggiato sulla strada.

Super établissement, chambre belle et confortable, bon déjeuner, un peu à l’écart du centre mais accessible à pied ou en bus, mais ainsi l’endroit est calme.

Ça serait bien une climatisation, car très chaud lors de notre séjour et assez cher comme hébergement.

Personnel à l’écoute, ambiance cosy d’auberge. Très bon petit déjeuner face au mont blanc. Le petit dej ouvre tôt à 7h30 ce qui était pratique pour commencer nos activités tôt. La vue sur le mont blanc depuis le chalet était magnifique. Les équipements du chalet étaient modernes, les douches avaient une bonne pression, eau très chaude, appart très confortable de très bon standing. La clim marchait bien, les chambres au sous sol étaient un peu froides mais les radiateurs fonctionnaient donc on pouvait les réchauffer nous avons apprécié. La cuisine est bien équipée, nous n’avons pas fait de grand repas mais rien ne nous a manqué. Nous avons apprécié avoir une place de parking dédiée gratuite face à l’entrée du chalet c’était vraiment pratique. Le chalet est idéalement placé au bord de la route très facile d’accès et à côté de l’hôtel. L’accès au chalet ne dépend pas de l’hôtel donc on pouvait rentrer et sortir comme on veut. L’isolation phonique était très bien, malgré la route qui était proche et le train on n’entend rien à l’intérieur, nous avons très bien dormi. Le chalet est idéalement situé au calme loin de l’agitation du centre mais assez proche pour profiter de Chamonix. Avec une voiture c’était vraiment parfait pour faire les attractions principales aiguille du midi, montenvers, les thermes mais même sans voiture je pense que c’est aussi pratique car le train qui va au centre ville passe juste à côté, l’hôtel n’est pas isolé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié être dans un chalet et en même temps profiter des services de l’hôtel, comme la consigne, le petit dej, le personnel, c’était vraiment idéal pour visiter Chamonix.

Nous n’avons pas reçu toutes les informations au checkin, nous avons dû demander l’accès au wifi et la carte d’hôte le lendemain à la réception. C’est pas grave mais ça aurait été pratique d’avoir tout dans un même package d’accueil. La tv de la chambre double au sous sol ne marchait pas, pas très grave non plus mais à signaler quand même.

There is no lift so bear this in mind with luggage after a day of walking, thin walls so hard to keep kids quiet, hair dryer terrible, only one pillow, no air conditioning

The room was nicely decorated with exposed wood beams. The room was clean and the bathroom was nicely updated with a 110v outlet and usb charging ports built into the hair drier outlet, as well as usb charging ports on both sides of the bed. Bedside light options were very nice with a moveable spotlight and an ambiance light on either side. There was a water kettle, cups and tea in the room and a nice wardrobe for clothes storage. The breakfast was fantastic with a large selection of cereaals, breads, grains, meats, yogurt and toppings, as well as coffee and choice of teas.

The room was small - when the window was open, one side of the bed could not be accessed as it blocked the walk area between the bed and the wall.

Mancanza di pulizia quotidiana del bagno e mancata sostituzione asciugamani. La ferrovia passa accanto all’hotel e quindi dal primo mattino c’è molto rumore.

La déco des espaces communs, les chambres confortables et plutôt spacieuses

Le personnel pas désagréable mais pas très sympathique non plus. Un sourire fait toujours la différence… L’hôtel est bien situé mais donne sur une route. Heureusement que la déco soignée rachète l’environnement extérieur.

Petit hôtel de charme très sympathique

I binari del treno che passano a 2 metri dalle camere, i treni viaggiano dalle 6 alle 23.30 e l'arrivo del treno è anticipato da una campanella. La colazione aggiunta costa 18 euro a persona, un costo troppo alto per quanto offerto.

Nous sommes arrivés en dehors de heures d'ouverture de la réception mais une enveloppe nous attendais avec la clé de notre chambre et les instructions. La chambre est très propre et bien décorée. Lits très confortable nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre court séjour

Petit bémol, le train qui passe juste en dessous de l'hôtel, mais ils n'y peuvent pas grand chose...

Tout était super, peut être juste le manque de fenêtre de notre chambre au dernier étage situé sous les toits. Nous avions tout de même un grand velux qui parvenait quand même à bien ventiler la chambre.

C’est un petit hôtel magnifique. Le déjeuner et les salles communes très belles. Ça donnait le goût d’y rester.

Le salon n’avait pas de fenêtres et pas de ventilateur donc trop chaud pour en profiter… Dommage. La proximité du train faisait que c’était bruyant les fenêtres ouvertes le matin mais on a quand même bien dormi.

La chambre fasse à la montagne

This is a very dated hotel with no on-site parking, and unfortunately it offers poor value for the price. The biggest drawback is the location. The hotel is only about 10 metres from a railway line, with trains passing every 10 minutes from around 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. On top of that, there is constant traffic noise from a nearby road. Rather than feeling like a peaceful mountain resort, it feels more like staying in the middle of a busy town. The only real positive is the beautiful mountain view from the living room. We didn't try the breakfast, so we can't comment on it, but based on our overall experience, we would not choose to stay here again.

La localisation proche du téléphérique de la Flégère et de la gare pour rejoindre Chamonix en quelques minutes. Les chambres confortables avec vue sur le Mont-blanc. Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié.

L'accueil pas du tout professionnel, minimum de renseignements donnés. Pas du tout arrangeante. Aucun professionnalisme.

숙소 위생 상태도 너무 좋고 멀티 어댑터나 보드게임 등 예상 못 했던 부분들까지 잘 마련되어 있었습니다. 다음에 다시 샤모니를 온다면 무조건 이 숙소를 다시 잡고 싶습니다.

L'hôtel et son environnement sont très calmes. Notre chambre au 2ème étage, était très agréable avec une belle vue sur l'église et la montagne. Literie très confortable, sdb très propre, bien équipée et plutôt grande. Personnel disponible et aimable. Bref, un établissement que nous recommandons pour son rapport qualité/prix.

Très bel appartement (103) avec 3 chambres en RDJ. Très bien équipé, très bonne literie. Le top du top une vue exceptionnelle sur les Drus, l’aiguille du Midi et le Mont Blanc. Très bien situé près de la petite gare des Praz et du téléphérique des Flégères dans le hameau des Praz (restaurant café bureau tabac). Pour les marcheurs Chamonix 30mn à pied par petit sentier le long de l’Arve et bcp d’autres balades par sentiers jusqu’à Argentière en longeant le golf.

Rien même si le train passe tout près mais sans réel nuisance (petit train montagne)
