Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Was looking forward to the visit to the Parador Cordoba and was not disappointed, the style and comforts of the Parador are just as expected having a method that takes you back to a bygone era of quality, luxury and hospitality. We had a room (no not a room - a superb suite) on the second floor overlooking the gardens, pool and the city in the background. Breakfast was included in the price and was superb with a very personal service that had to be applauded. All in all a very good experience as hoped for.
Al a carte dining is a little expensive but the quality is excellent, other than that all is good.

There were not enough waiting staff for the bar or restaurant resulting in long waiting times. Breakfast was particularly chaotic at 9:45 on a Sunday morning. Staff couldn't keep up with the demand for food top ups and kept running out of basics such as glasses, bowls and juice. It seemed unfair that waiting staff were having to do refills as well as tend to guests, take orders and clear tables.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Mooi sfeervol hotel van de parador groep. Met werkelijk een prachtig zwembad. De kamer was heel ruim en netjes met een prachtig balkom met fenomenaal uitzicht. De bedden zijn breed en fijn met twee verschillende kussen dus we hebben heerlijk geslapen.
Ontbijt buffet voor 20 euro per persoon is echt overprized. Het buffet is natuurlijk hartstikke uitgebreid maar 20 euro eet je er echt niet aan af. Dat is jammer omdat er niet echt een ontbijt tentje in de buurt zit. Qua locatie is het wel ver van het centrum af maar goed dat weet je van tevoren.

The desk staff did not inform us of the hours of the swimming pool in the afternoon on arrival. When I asked for a towel to use, they did not warn me of the imminent closure for the day, so in the event I had only 4 minutes in the pool. Many would think that 6 pm is too early for weary arrivals. The next morning the desk staff denied that it would be open at 10, as I had been told the previous evening by the life guard on duty. I challenged this, to which they told me to go (down the hill) to see for myself. I told them to phone to save me that effort, which they did, and confirmed that I was indeed correct; no aplogy. Careless!. Not what I would have expected from a Parador, and a blemish.

The breakfast was good but the evening meal choice was a bit limited. We ate in both restaurants and neither was that good. Quite expensive for what you get.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Die Lage mit Blick auf Cordoba, der Palmengarten und der Mega Pool. Tolle, saubere Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück, hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Abgestellte
Für Raucher ein Ort, der eine Herausforderung wird. Trotz Balkon oder Terasse ist das Rauchen nur in wenigen Ecken des Hotels erlaubt.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Die Lage ist optimal. Stadtnah und doch sehr ruhig. Mit dem Taxi zehn Minuten in die Altstadt. Garten und Pool sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Personal/Service seit Jahren auf einem sehr hohen Level.
Etwas abgewohnt nach Jahren.

Reviewed May 26, 2026La chambre spacieuse avec vrai dressing, un couloir qui séparé la chambre de la salle de bain, un coin salon et une superbe terrasse avec vue sur Cordoue et la mosquée. Un bus passe devant l’hôtel pour aller au centre-ville.👍

Reviewed May 26, 2026Our room was lovely. It had far seeing views of the city from the windows and balcony. The room was comfortable and super clean. We had a separate seating area which was good for relaxing. The hotel has lots of free parking which was great as we were on a driving tour of Andalucia. The food was good and the waiting staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We particularly enjoyed eating on the terrace overlooking the gardens. The hotel had an amazing 1960's vibe which was interesting and different from the other paradores we have stayed in. It was a good base to explore Cordoba and the surrounding area. We would definitely stay there again if we are in that area.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Ruime kamer, vriendelijk personeel, de locatie is iets verder weg van het centrum en is daardoor heel rustig. De omgeving is heerlijk groen. De superior room heeft een klein balkon met uitzicht op de stad en de omgeving.

The location is difficult without a car. We would liked to have been closer to town. The hotel needs to be renovated it’s very dated and old. It could also use better good options. The menu was very old fashioned and the food was average at best

Reviewed May 25, 2026PARADOR FEELS NOT LOOKED AFTER , NEEDS PAITING AND REDECORATING IN MANY AREAS. GREAT POOL , NO NOISE , WHICH IS FANTASTIC FOR CORDOBA. RESTAURANT IS RUNNING OUT OF FOOD FOR BREAKFAST ALL THE TIME . HOT WATER WAS NOT WORKING IN THE ROOM ON DAY ONE . IT WAS SORTED OUT FAST , THE PROBLEM WAS THE MIXER. THE VIEW IS GREAT . HALL ON ARRIVAL SMELLS OF ROTTEN CABBAGE , LIKE A CHEAP NURSING HOME . THERE ARE WONDERFUL SIGNATURE SCENTS IN SPAIN WHICH MANY HOTELS USE . FRESH BUNCH OF FLOWERS ON THE TABLE IN RECEPTION WILL DO WONDERS FOR THE FIRST IMPRESSION
THE VIEW , THE TRANQUILITY . DINNER IN THE RESTAURANT AND THE POOL . POOL IS THE GREAT ASSET IN SUMMER MOTHS . PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR THE PARADOR WERE NICE AND HELPFUL

Reviewed May 22, 2026I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Great location with a view of the city. You feel like you are in a park. Excellent pool. The building is not new but it is well maintained. The room was large, with high ceilings and a separate wardrobe. Our terrace was large with a table and two sun loungers. Large parking. Unfortunately we were only there for one night. This is a place where you can relax from the city noise and tourists.
The restaurant was not open for dinner

Reviewed May 20, 2026Grande et agréable chambre. La piscine était déjà ouverte avant la saison saison, joli cadre. Excellents petits-déjeuners, beaucoup de fruits bien préparés, bon service. Bus à côté pour se rendre en ville.
Notre store ne fonctionnait pas. Malgré l'avoir signalé, il était toujours coincé à mi-hauteur durant notre séjjour de 3 nuits. Dommage que nous n'avons pas reçu une chambre avec balcon pour nos 3 nuits réservées à l'avance et Amigos des Paradors.
