Zimmer im 4.Stock sind sehr niedrig und finster. Auf Anfrage haben wir aber ohne Probleme ein anderes Zimmer im 2.Stock bekommen.

Tout est parfait. C'est un magnifique établissement que nous connaissions déjà. Cette fois encore nous n'avons pas été déçus et nous reviendrons à coup sûr. Des prestations superbes et un petit déjeuner somptueux.

Posizione, e struttura molto bella . Già utlizzata. Pensavo di avere colazione ma mi sono sbagliato.

Per il Parcheggio un calvario niente posto nei due silos vicini , alla fine parcheggiato a sottomarina Mare . Poi non capisco la caparra di 50 € per un hotel di questo livello.

As the real estate experts say, location, location, location. Hotel Grande Italia lies on the seashore in the touristic port, at the end of Corso del Popolo, which is the main commercial street ith good shops where one can find great deals for high quality products. The building combines the Belle Epoque flavor, high ceilings, decorations, room and bathroom generous dimensions with the latest technology. The staff is warm, friendly and very helpful, especially the lady and the gentleman who welcomed us. The valet parking service is excellent. The restaurant is probably the best in Chioggia offering a true fine dining experience on its outside terrace. One can benefit from the nice view of the tourist boats while sipping a glass of wine from their impressive wine list. The waiters are helpful giving the best advices on how to pair the fish dishes with the wines.

I do not have any negative comments to make since the hotel exceeded my expectations. It was my first visit to Chioggia, a medium size town staying in the shadow of its great neighbour, Venice.

Un bâtiment de plus de 10O ans au bord de la lagune, a deux pas de la station du vaporetto (1h 45 pour Venise). Un charme désuet, décalé. Un personnel adorable . Un petit déjeuner excellent et fait maison , et un restaurant qui sert des plats à base de fruits de mer .

Le parking un peu éloigné même si on peut déposer d'abord les bagages

Das Hotel ist ideal für Städtereisen wenn man etwas Komfort möchte. Toll gelegenes Stadthotel, direkt am Hafen mit Blick auf´s Meer. Schönes Hotel mit langer Geschichte. Sehr moderne Zimmer. Zentrumsnah – viele Bars und Restaurants in der Nähe. Personal an der Rezeption spricht sehr gut Deutsch, ist sehr aufmerksames und freundlich. Sehr schönes und großes Badezimmer. Minibar/Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl und ausgewogen. Hotelbar und Restaurant vorhanden. Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Sehr saubere Zimmer. Fahrradverleih. Wie bei Stadthotels üblich, besitzt das Hotel keinen Parkplatz. Parken kann man in einer Parkgarage, die fußläufig in ca. 15min. erreichbar ist (12€ pro Tag).

Safe im Zimmer konnte nicht genutzt werden, Taste defekt - hat uns aber nicht gestört

Tolles Service, vom Parken/Gepäck und an der Rezeption hat alles super funktioniert. Alle waren sehr hilfsbereit, vorallem da ich mit meinet 3 jährigen Tochter unterwegs war, konnte ich Hilfe bzw Lokaltipps/Strandtipps gut gebrauchen.

Perfect location just next to the Venetian public boat service (Vaporetto) and the main high street of old Chioggoa. Strong air conditioning for the incredible heat wave! Beautiful and comfortable hotel.

It was way too hot this summer but not the hotel's fault!

Mooie locatie in Chioggia, direct aan de haven waar de boten naar Venetië vertrekken (let op: vanaf hier duurt dat wel dik anderhalf uur). Parkeren is prima geregeld, iemand begeleid je naar de privé parkeergarage en brengt je weer terug naar het hotel. En als je weggaat word je er weer heen gebracht.

We hadden de ‘zolderkamer’. Het was 38c, maar daar was de airco niet op berekend dus het was ‘snachts behoorlijk warm.

Tolle Lage direkt am Lido bei der Schiffsanlegestelle und bei der Fussgängerzone. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Parkpllatz in Tiefgaragenbox etwas ausserhalb, aber Hoteltransfer hin und zurück. Ein Restaurant gehört zum Hotel.

Lage des Hotels super.

Das Personal, ein Mann an der Rezeption war sehr unfreundlich und genervt. Was sehr auffallend war, meine Schwiegertochter hatte eine Frage (sie hat marrok Wurzeln) er ist überhaupt nicht auf sie eingegangen. Er hat nur mit meiner Tochter (deutsch) gesprochen. So etwas leicht rassistisch angehauchtes darf es in so einem Hotel nicht geben .

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderbar, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und auch „Extrawünsche“ - z.B. Spiegelei, sind möglich.

A very Italian classic hotel in the best location for eating in inhouse or in the town restaurants, sitting on the terrace watching the boats and sleeping directly beside the water. The food is superb and the staff helpful and friendly. It is quite a long walk (2 km) to the beach. The bus does not take you. The beds are enormous. There is air conditioning. It is a beautiful old-school clean hotel that is best mainly for adults who are not so interested in the beach. The boat station for Venice is right opposite. Trip takes 80 minutes, approx. 24-hour ticket for one person 24 EUR. Parking is, like the beach, a 2-km walk too. The great thing is being in a beautiful building in the middle of town, beside the water, and it was quiet. If you dont mind the walk, the beach had sunshade tents (40 EUR per day, or cheaper umbrellas and soft sand).

Location was good for cruise terminal and right on the main square.

2 power outages in 2 days... Not great when the water is linked to the power and you are in the middle of a shower. Staff seemed a bit disorganised. Probably the worse was our credit card was automatically charged at 100x the amount and although reversed .... took days to happen.

Great hotel, beautifully situated on the waters edge. The staff on reception could not have been more helpful. We had 2 small kids and they helped up get bikes which were a great way to get around. Good range for breakfast too.

Wonderful stately building right at the canal/water in the historic centre of the town. The best/most beautiful bedroom & bathroom of all the hotels we have stayed in Italy. Superbly renovated and comforable.

Wie der Name schon sagt: Hotel Grande! Ihrendwie fühlt man sich in die 1920er Jahre zurückversetzt. Rezeption, Restaurant, Treppenhaus und Frühstücksraum sind noch historisch. Die Zimmer dagegen sind modern aber passend. Klimaanlage funktioniert bestens. Das Personal ist freundlich und wir wurden auf deutsch eingecheckt. Das Frühstück hat eine große Auswahl ohne offene Wünsche. Die Lage ist natürlich hervorragend, liegt aber auch in der ZTL. Wir haben im Parkhaus außerhalb am Sportpark geparkt (24Stunden 15,-€)

Mi è piaciuto tutto dell Hotel Grande Italia di Chioggia: l' architettura originale anni '30, lo stile d arredo contemporaneo, la posizione centralissima a pochi passi dalla fermata del vaporetto, la pulizia e l' efficienza dei servizi.

Super Lage am Rande der Lagune und am Anfang der Fußgängerzone. Frühstücksraum mit tollen Ausblick, Frühstück auch gut. Getränke im Cafe/Bar sehr gut mit freundlicher Bedienung.

Preise für die Garage in der Nähe hoch (allerdings gute Verwahrung des Fahrzeuges). Gemüse beim Frühstück nicht immer frisch.

Die Lage war hervorragend und das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut.

Es war etwas wenig Stauraum vorhanden. Das Bett war samt Bettkasten so hineingeschoben, dass man aus dem Innenbett (an der leider ungepolsteter Bettkantenseite) nur mit den Beinen voraus herauskam. Die Parkgebühr für EUR 28 pro Nacht war m. E. nach sehr hoch.

Sehr gutes vielseitiges Frühstück. Das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Lage des Zimmers (Blick zur Hintergasse) sollte beim Buchen gesehen werden können. Die Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer sind sehr beschränkt. Am Nachttisch gibt es keinen Ragaboden oder eine Schublade.

Arriving by car to Chioggia can be tricky during rush season. There appeared to be quite a limited number of parking places nearby and they tended to get full even in early June (weekend).

Beste Lage in der Altstadt am Hafen. Gutes Frühstück in einem sehr schönen, herrschaftlichen Raum mit wunderbarer Aussicht im 2. OG. Zimmer bei geöffnetem Fenster Richtung Hafen nachts leider etwas laut, das sehr häufige Ankunft und Abfahrt der Boote von und nach Venedig. Aber das nahmen wir wegen der tollen Lage gern in Kauf.

Der Eingangs- und Loungebereich könnte etwas einladender sein.

The property was in the Main Street of Choggia along the waterfront. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel was close to restaurants and shops. Breakfast had a great selection of food.

Superlage und sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Hilfe bei der Bootsveloreservation. Schnelle Antwort auf meine E Mail bezüglich Fahrrad einschliessen. Veloraum abgeschlossen war super.

Zimmer dunkel mit kleinem Fenster im Dachgeschoss. Preis- Leistung nicht in Ordnung.

Lage: Das Hotel liegt am Ende der Fußgängerzone, direkt am Meer. Ist mit dem Auto sehr gut erreichbar. Ein Parken vor dem Hotel ist nur zum Entladen und Beladen möglich. Zimmer: Sehr sauber, groß, toll ausgestattet, großes Badezimmer. Frühstück: Das Frühstück befindet sich im 2. Stock des Hotels. Es ist ein sehr umfangreiches italienisches Buffet und für jeden Gast etwas dabei. Der Kaffee ist sehr gut. Beim Frühstück wird man mit dem tollen Ausblick aufs Meer und den Hafen belohnt. Jeder Morgen eine Besonderheit.

keine Kritik - ein Top Hotel :-)

Ein Hotel mit Geschichte, das modern und hochwertig ausgestaltet ist. Perfekte Lage in der Altstadt am Hafen. Freundlich kompetentes Personal (zB. Marcello am Empfang). Super Frühstück mit aufmerksamem Service, in schönem Raum mit beindruckender Aussicht. Wird für Chioggia unsere erste Wahl :-)

The views are exceptional and the location cannot be beat. For fans of historical elegance, the Liberty style building is a joy, and all of Chioggia is within easy walking distance

Getting to Chioggia isn’t as easy as advertised: the direct vaporetto wasn’t running and the train station isn’t well connected to the rest of the region

Die Lage des Hotels in der Innenstadt von Chioggia war sehr gut. Das Personal aufmerksam und an der Rezeption Mehrsprachig! Ein schönes altes Haus modern adaptiert! Beim Frühstücksbuffet bleibt kein Wunsch unerfüllt. In Italien sucht man dergleichen.

Unser Zimmer war trotz zeitiger Buchung nach hinten hinaus und das Bett stand mit dem Kopfende und der rechten Seite an den Wänden. Für junge Leute sicher kein Problem, wir ü 60!
