Amazing breakfast with placards describing the history of the area. Paying for the car park at the hotel gives a discount.
The elevator was being repaired, this should have been done in low season. Booking.com description should give much more detail on Indigo Parking. It is divided into 2 sections, one with an exit just 30 metres from hotel entrance, the other about 200 metres away ( which we took through ignorance ) It depends which entrance you take from the main road. Take the entrance that is furthest East. None of these details were provided even when when we phoned the hotel, 30 m or 200m makes a big difference when hauling luggage after a long day of travelling. No room fridge.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026The location of Hotel Pilar Plaza is amazing. Its in the middle of all the action right across from our Lady of the Pilar. The staff were super helpful and kind. The rooms were reasonably priced for the location. The breakfast was yummy.
Our courtyard view room was comfortable but outdated and dark. There was a musty smell when we first walked in the room but the air conditioning helped once the room was cooled. There were mattresses stacked in the hallway. The room numbers looked like they were written on doors with black marker, which could be creative and artsy with a little more work but in this case it just made the hallways look unfinished.
