Está muy alejado del centro , las señoras que sirven el desayuno son desagradables , en especial una de ellas , cero amabilidad . Precio excesivo para lo que ofrece .

Parking was challenging but the staff were fantastic and worked it out.

Te kleine parking. Auto heel ver moeten parkeren en achterlaten.

Parking gratuito pero pequeño, si llegas tarde ya no hay sitio pero en las inmediaciones está el campo de fútbol del Gijón donde se puede aparcar sin problema. Además hay restaurantes y cafeterías en los bajos del estadio. A 15 minutos andando a la playa de San Lorenzo. Parada de autobús cerca para poder ir al centro sin coger el coche. Personal del hotel muy amable.
Necesitan las habitaciones un poco de reforma en los muebles.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026We were given a small, dated room, with two single beds pushed together. No kettle or tea & coffee making facilities provided in room. There was a small fridge, with two bottles of water, however these were part of the mini-bar contents and if drunk, guests would be charged. So no complimentary bottled water, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable, particularly during very hot weather. The room had an ancient TV with no English speaking channels. We managed to get one of the last remaining spaces in their small private car park, hence we were reluctant to give up our space and drive closer to the old town which is a 30 minute walk through the park and along the promenade. I wish I’d read more reviews before selecting this Parador. Just relieved we were only staying the one night and didn’t include breakfast. Actually had a reasonable nights sleep, comfortable bed and a quiet room. My recommendation - stay somewhere else.

I felt that the lunch we had at the restaurant was very underwhelming. I truly expected more. The Bacalao tasted like shoe leather. A day earlier, I ate the best Bacalao I’ve ever had in my life in the basque country. I had hoped that being on the coast, the seafood would have been Fran tastier.

AC not working; the bed was very small - 4 poster but narrow so with no AC and temps at 30C we both had a very restless nights sleep. Just stayed at 3 other Paradore Hotels over the last 10 days, and this was the most expensive and the least comfortable

Está muy anticuado. Necesita renovación de mobiliario y mantenimiento de habitaciones (hueco del aire acondicionado con agujeros sin rematar, cables que salían del techo a ninguna parte...). La cama es demasiado dura. El personal de limpieza nos despertó temprano arreglando la habitación contigua: más que limpieza parecía que habia un obrero de la construcción al lado... Una cantidad de golpes increíbles.

Dieser Parador ist in die Jahre gekommen, abgestoßene Stellen im Mobiliar - die Gebrauchsspuren waren nicht zu übersehen. Die beiden Damen im Frühstücksraum hatten etwas gouvernanntiges an sich.

Helaas moeten we ons aansluiten bij andere commentaren. Het voelt allemaal wat sleets. Veel details in de hotelkamer zijn niet netjes afgewerkt. Veel hoekjes en randjes op de vloer zijn niet schoon. Het ontbijt werd op zich goed verzorgd, maar het brood was oud en uitgedroogd en de omelet die we bestelden was koud, blijkbaar lag die al klaar.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026We waren hier jaren geleden al eerder geweest en vonden het toen al een fantastisch hotel. Hier krijg je echt waar voor je geld. Mooie ruime kamers met heerlijke bedden (extra groot ook!) en verder alles erop en eraan. Het ligt aan een prachtig park waar je super relaxt kunt wandelen. Het uitgebreide en luxe ontbijt en heerlijke avondeten waren ook fantastisch. Kortom een echte aanrader!
Er is ons niets tegengevallen en we gaan er graag nog een keer terug, zodra we weer een keer in de buurt zijn.

Hicieron mi habitación más tarde de las 14:00 y había previsto trabajar. Se les olvidó reponer toallas. No hay servicio de te/café en las habitaciones aunque el personal me proporcionó un hervidor de agua.

Our room on the second floor smelt musty and the mats were stained. One with a cigarette burn. We requested a room change and staff happily obliged. Ended up on first floor close to the entrance. Happy with this.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025We stayed 4 nights in the Parador in december. The parador is nicely located in a park and close to the sea. It has nice rooms and very nice and spacious sitting rooms. But it was much too cold everywhere. Heating systems were insufficient and windows leaked cold air. Breakfast and dinner was avarage. A lot of food for dinner but it did not have the quality that you could expect. This could be much better. It was not a surprise that very few people stayed at the hotel.
