Breakfast was just the usual buffet breakfast but had to wait quite a while on fried egg being replenished. Dining room was basic too with very little atmosphere. Room was basic and only a single bed which was all that was available at the time of booking.
A single bed.. unfortunately all that was available at time of booking. Parking very restricted and not many spaces. Hotel seemed quite dull, not much going on.
Location and friendly helpful staff.
Cleanliness - In my room where peeling of wall paper with the mold at the ceiling. Dust balls hanging from the spider web. The hole in my bed mattress. And whole interior seems to be old and tired Al though, not all room were the same. Some of them was allegedly better.
très bel emplacement et bonne cuisine
le manque d'ascenseur
Rooms and towels were clean and fresh Breakfast top class Hallway could do with painting other than that all was excellent
Hallway could do with a little paint job
The close proximity to the golf course. Friendly staff.
Some areas were in need of a refresh and appeared dirty.
Sea view . The staff were friendly & accommodating
maintenance required urgently followed by decoration. Not the cleanest either- inside pillow covers were stained. Furniture tops were sticky & carpet not so nice. Cables surface mounted on the wall.
Location perfect for us golfers
Decor looking a bit tired and dated but still clean
Breakfast was a disgrace, everything was run down we arrived at 9am which is middle of service and had to wait for everything! Hash browns were one big soggy mess, sausages and bacon were as pink as they were in the packet ! No vegetarian sausages so if you didn't like mushrooms you were stuck with cold eggs and cheap beans!! When I asked if more beans would be available I was told she's busy with eggs!! Yoghurt glass jars were dirty and the ham looked like a cat had had a good chomp on it
Service was bad, bathroom was so small and getting past the sink to get in a shower was a joke! Toilet paper was like tracing paper and the shower was slipoy
The beds were comfy thought. Spacious bathroom and decent sized towels
The rooms lack personality and atmosphere, same for the bathroom. The shower wasn't very hot and a fan to circulate air would be great. The shower curtain makes it hard not to get wanter on the floor too With think walls we listened to someone snoring in the room either beside or above us
Helpful staff; great view through window; within walking distance of beach and town centre
nothing
Great location. Lovely old building
Bathroom poorly converted with a grubby floor and no surface to put toiletries
Location
Tired looking facilities. breakfast lacking
Good location and staff were kind and helpful
Very dates, breakfast poor, noise in rooms.
Petit déjeuner. Sur la mer
Propreté. Vetuste
Lovely view over the golf course and coast. Good choice of breakfast in a room with the same view. Friendly staff.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and we had to walk down into the town to find somewhere to eat. Very little parking for such a large hotel - we needed to park a couple of streets away.
Stay for business purposes- good reliable hotel. Nice breakfast
No lift
The location of the hotel was perfect for us with the golf course across the road. The bar and the restaurant were excellent. there is a large, comfortable and bright lounge on the ground floor. We ate at the restaurant the first night but it is closed on Sunday night. The receptionist was very helpful and booked us into a restaurant in town.
The room had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable but it was a little tired.
Perfect location for the golf. Friendly staff, good food and great prices
Nothing
Friendly staff who made you most welcome
Location
Shower had no pressure .
Location is beautiful, hotel is clean, rooms are dated but comfortable.
Booked the hotel for a birthday surprise specifically as they offer steak on hot stones. Arrived to be told, restaurant was not open as dont have a chef (agency only). Very disappointing. Should have been stated on website before booking.
Not enough fresh fruit Toast was always coming out burnt on one side Not enough choice other than cooked breakfast
Room was dated Wallpaper hanging off ceiling.Beds were left unmade .
Stunning view on the sea. Nice bar, nice breakfast, very good location. This city is RAF airbase location and it's common to see jet fighters start
Stunning view on the see if you ignore that windows are dirty from leftover birds excrements. This city is RAF airbase location and it's common to see noisy jet fighters start
Location
Feels a bit dated and dilapidated
It was very convenient, reasonably priced and staff were very helpful.
We were quite happy thanks
Location great and staff excellent
Room and some of interiors dated
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et il y a du choix
la pièce de la douche et des toilettes est trop petite, le système de douche est vétuste
Staff at reception very nice and helpful, Restuarant, breakfast and bar staff great.music in dining room too loud.

Bel hotel di grandi dimensioni in zona centrale. Pulito. Letti comodi.
Colazione compresa nel prezzo non eccezionale.
Comfortable place to stay. Great view.
The corner rooms are large, the rest of the rooms are small.
Good value for money
No meals available Kitchen issues. No lift or any assistance given On second floor and had a recent hip replacement
Great location and right next to the Golf View hotel and Macintosh restaurant for a lovely dinner with amazing views, highly recommend! The room itself was clean as was the bathroom. The room is very spacious and the bathroom is absolutely tiny but has a nice powerful shower.
The hotel is right opposite the Moray Golf club which had a safety alarm going off at night - so so loud we could not sleep it was insane. We called reception to ask if there was anyone we could call as it was just crazy, and the male receptionist was extremely rude and told us it was beyond his control and happens literally every night ?? And there’s no one on site to turn it off? Can’t understand why you’d sell rooms knowing how disturbing that is… Additionally, the dining room was really dirty and super dusty windowsills they obviously never clean it. When we sat at a table to eat it hadn’t been cleaned either and the lady working just put down cutlery for us… we had to wipe it ourselves. She was also really rude, it was very uncomfortable
Ok so wasn’t expensive compared to other places but the oldest falling apart place I have ever been. The plugs didn’t work , the bathrooms were ancient, water marks, paint peeling off, honestly not good at all
Apart from bed and the staff all was awful
The location and views . Beds were clean and comfortable. Good hot shower.
Very dated water marks on most ceilings. Main staircase needs good clean. Breakfast lukewarm.
Great location
Breakfast was poor the buffet wasn’t replenished
The hotel is very convenient to access the Golf Course and Town.
The rooms need updating, and the restaurant was closed for two nights, however I can't fault the bed which was extremely comfy.
Good location and nice staff
Rooms a bit tired Breakfast bacon overcooked Limited choice at breakfast No food available at dinner during my visit.
The staff on reception were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful
The restaurant was closed during my stay
Location and good breakfast
Could hear snoring next room
Location, sea view, breakfast, clean
There was no hot water, only lukewarm. Front desk staff were aware and said they had refunded other guests but did not offer us even a discount 😕 Other hotel guests were not respectful of keeping quiet, especially in the early morning
Staff in hotel kind helpful and very sociable good sized room that was value for money - food good and reasonably priced would go back
Older hotel could do with a little upgrading in some areas
Great
Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice.
The bedroom was very dated which was ok. The window in the bedroom was covered in bird faeces. The curtain hardly coveted the window. You couldn't see the colour of the lampshade for all the dust. The skirting boards in the bedroom mustn't have been dusted for over a year. The toilet seat was broken and got rusty fixtures. The colour didn't match the suite. The hotel desperately needs some TLC.
I always stay here in Lossiemouth as rooms are comfy, staff are very friendly and breakfast is good. Plus it’s very good value.
Some rooms are a bit dated.
The staff were lovely and the location was great.
The bed was not comfy. Our room was very dated and the bathroom door kept sticking in the slider and the carpet which was ripped so we couldn’t close the door to the bathroom. The bathroom taps I struggled to shut off if it wasn’t for husband they would have ran all night. The hotel could do with some TLC.
Staff were very nice
Room was dirty, there was still crap on the toilet when I went in. The rooms were just a bit run down. Whole place just looked like it was brought to the minimum standard on the cheap which is a shame because it’s a beautiful building in a lovely seaside location
The Grand Lady ist in die Jahre gekommen! Gar nichts hat uns gefallen!!!
Alles! Überalterte Infrastruktur.
The staff members were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Our room 228 was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with an ample choice of food. My Coeliac husband was well catered for. The location of the hotel is very good for exploring the area.
Our room was on the second floor and we found the climb tiring. The hotel was busy with bus tours so we were unable to be accomodated on the first floor. Parking outside of the hotel was problematic with no disabled spaces.
Live staying here! Everyone is genuine, it’s not 5star but it’s exactly what it says on the tin! And it’s the real people that work there that make it a welcome place to stay
Apparently the seagulls use the hotel as target practice! Might need a more frequent window cleaner!
A lovely warm and friendly greeting on arrival. The lovely bar area. The decor was nice and fresh. The cosy lounge
The bathroom needed a refurb No espresso cups in the dining room
Das Essen, die Lage, der Blick auf's Meer. Einfach perfekt
The evening supper and breakfast was perfect staff was very helpful. I will highly recommend this hotel
Location
Some elements of it could do with a wee upgrade
Lovely building in a beautiful location
Very dirty and unclean, shower was terrible, held up with pvc tape. Filthy undusted, windows covered in seagulls poo, could’ve been cleaned easily! Cobwebs above the bed and in most ceiling corners. TV remote, needs sanitized Bathroom door slides but very poorly fitted. No further communication from the manager once she’d taken the payment. Very poor room allocation facing into the centre of the building, with a great view of the staff smoking area and the back kitchen door.
The location is excellent
The breakfast isn't good at all.
Breakfast was a let down
The eggs were like rubber.
Location
The property is run down and tired and not very clean shower didn’t work very good and the electric sockets didn’t work very good
The location, beautiful views
Decor dated, would benefit from an upgrade
The location is excellent
The hotel ia very dated and needs an upgrade. It ia clean but looking shabby
Good staff and food was reasonable hotel is abit rundown .
Bathroom needs upgrading.
sniadanie bylo pyszne w formie bufetu , Widok z okna byl piekny
The Staff at this Hotel are marvellous. Each one was lovely and personable and chatted away with myself and my young grand-daughter. Very pleasant, warm and friendly. Our Twin sea view room was fantastic, very spacious, very comfortable and the views were amazing! Everything I wanted and more. Breakfast selection was great and tasty as was our dinner we had - delicious.
Absolutely nothing to dislike!
it was all good
nothing
The staff were friendly
Breakfast was poor and the rooms really need upgrading The bathrooms are very basic
Location
Shower head that wont stay up when running. No hot water in the tiny bathroom sink. Disgusting gunk around the start button for shower. Ripped and disgusting mattress protectors on bed that are also passed there best.Water stains on walls crumbling paint. Breakfast; eggs that looked like plastic and oily no square sausage no potatoe scone no black pudding. Cheap plastic bread and cereal
Die Lage war sehr schön. Unser Problem wurde umgehend gelöst.
Die Dusche war defekt. Das Frühstück war nicht gut. Kaffee mit Milchpulver, kein frisches Obst, Croissant nicht frisch
Location and staff
Staff lovely, food in evening was good
Breakfast always cold,Room was big and airy ,was on second floor and really struggled with stairs,,
Had a large corner room with a sea view.
Initially the room hadn't been cleaned properly, complained to reception, the receptionist said she would take care of it personally, which she did after returning to our room an hour later it was spotless.
Great location
The room wasn’t clean, the ceiling had wallpaper that was hanging off and water marks the shower was either burning hot or cold.
Cosy clean friendly and value for your money.
Well breakfast cleared away as I came to the dinning room at 9.20 am But the staff did fetch me a full scottish breakfast straight from the kitchen.
The location
Our bathroom was very shabby, with no where to put anything.
The location was excellent
The beds could do with an upgrade
The hotel is walking distance to the beaches and harbour and food and drink areas.
I think the breakfast each morning does need looked at. To be fair and honest, a cooked breakfast is hard to get wrong, and this one could have been better. The produce all good quality but badly prepared. The hotel bar and restaurant not very inviting. You would not spend an evening in the bar, unless desperate for a late night drink that ends at 10:30pm bar closing. Budget price, so good hotel for a bed for the night.
