Le Cottage - Hotel & Spa

This charming and spotlessly clean small hotel is situated in a quiet area of Argelès. The staff is very professional, polite, helpful and friendly. We greatly enjoyed the lovely swimming pool and its peaceful surroundings. The buffet breakfast was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Le Cottage.

There was nothing to dislike.

Friendly staff, beautiful gardens and pool area, quiet location and very relaxing vibe overall. Great breakfast. Although busy, none of the facilities felt stretched or under pressure. Felt like a high end, high cost 'French Riviera' stay but at a reasonable budget!

Separate charging for car parking - could understand if in prime beach location but as in quiet residential area this seemed a bit over the top.

Tres agreable sejour

The staff The breakfast

It’s not that I disliked but I expected the rooms to be a little bit more upmarket for the price (even if first price - nearly 400 euros a night)

Lovely, small and friendly hotel. Very relaxing.

It would have been nice to have some sort of snack/meal service availabe in the evenings..as most of the surrounding restuarants were closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Alles war perfekt

-

The peace and tranquility. The cleanliness. Having a fridge in the room. The AC.

The mosquitos. The lack of good options .

Easy to walk to the town Great breakfast Very helpful staff

Rooms and decor a touch old fashioned

Fabulous hotel, staff amazing especially Matias who went out of his way to look after us on our holiday

Great location, lovely bedding and rooms

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8-day stay at Le Cottage. We travelled in June and Le Cottage was a little oasis with excellent facilities and a friendly and helpful staff. I am happy to say that the AC worked wonderfully! As Americans, we are used to air conditioning and it's one of our requirements when traveling during the summer. Our room very comfortable and big (we had a sitting room next to the bedroom) with a large bathroom). We also had a terrace with a table and chairs and chaise lounge. We opted to have the terrific breakfast at the hotel every morning. The pool was fabulous. We tended to use it late afternoon after a day out and about. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take advantage of the spa services. Overall, we found the hotel and spa to be a great value for the price and would definitely stay there again.

While we found Le Cottage very comfortable, we didn't think there was much to do nearby in Argeles-sur-Mer. There is a weekly market day and there are a few restaurants and shops within walking distance. We rented a car in Perpignan and used it to travel around the region - which is beautiful and easy to navigate.

The room was wonderful, and the pool was fantastic—beautifully clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. All the facilities were spotless.

It could not have been better

Secluded and quiet and convenient to Argeles by foot and the beach by taxi although walkable in the evenings. Clean and well maintained.

Noisy children in the pool at times.

Piscine au top, cadre exterieur magnifique . Petit dejeuner complet et de bonne qualité. Séjour parfait

Simply a lovely place to stay

Es petit i tranquil

Res

Rien a dire

Lovely hotel with good size immaculately clean rooms and wonderful aircon. Great pool and spa too

Slightly further from the beach than we’d anticipated . But close to centre of the village where dining options were better

pool

We have payed 25 % extra price in booking the day before we arrive. The same day cost for the room was 30% lower....not serious.

Kleines, aber feines Hotel, sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, schöne Anlage. Zum Strand fährt man 5 min.

Prachtige plek!

We enjoyed the location near the old town.

Les habitacions i l’ entorn. L’ esmorzar.

It’s like a zen retreat, so relaxing and peaceful. Reception and check in was efficient and the receptionist was extremely helpful and professional. Lovely room, spotless and comfortable. I noticed there were 2 square pillows and 2 oblong pillows for comfort choice. Fridge and safety deposit box. Beautiful pool and pool side facilities. Staff serve food, drinks and ice creams as requested. Grounds are kept beautiful with plants and palms. The breakfast was excellent, lots of fruit, jams, cold meats, pastries, cereals, nuts, seeds, yogurt, breads, hot bacon and scrambled egg, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot drinks choices. This Hôtel exceeded my expectations and provided excellent value for money. Great location and secure parking for €10 per night.

Nothing

La propreté et l’accueil super 10/10

Magnifique endroit

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over a period of years. It is welcoming, very well maintained and suits our needs at a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and we like the quiet but convenient location.

We loved our stay here! Everything about this place was wonderful. Special thanks to the staff, who were particularly kind. We stayed in a suite with kitchen — comfortable bed, large walk-in shower and smart TV. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, but some mornings we had the breakfast downstairs - delicious, with lots of variety, served by friendly staff. The pool and spa areas were clean and peaceful - the grounds are very well kept. We spent quite a bit of time swimming, reading, relaxing, and watching the birds from the poolside. The hotel is very close to the center of the old village of Argeles sur Mer, with shops and restaurants. A Lidl supermarket is a couple of minutes’ walk away from the hotel. The beach is a short drive away, or about a 25 minute walk. We actually preferred being closer to the old town than the beach - even though there are many visitors in the old town, there are also many locals, and it somehow felt more “authentic” than the beach area, especially on market days (Saturday and Wednesday during the summer season).

We liked everything!

Beau jardin calme et belle piscine Parking privatif fermé

Alles, vriendelijk personeel

Beautiful hotel and location, so quiet and relaxing

It's a shame there is no restaurant but it's very clear in the advertising, and Lidl and other restaurants and bars are very close by.

Nice pool, spacious car parking

Security deposit of €150 taken from my account rather than pre-authorized/blocked. Not notified until end of payment process and not actually refunded to my account until 48 hours after departure

Clean. Good air conditioning. Helpful staff.

Basic room was a bit on the small side but fine for two people for a couple nights

Le spa

Pas grand chose lol

Freundliches, aufmerksames Personal.

La Gentillesse et le Sourire du Personnel

The hotel Le Cottage was our home for 8 days, the suite was exceptional and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Secure parking was an added bonus and the use of the heated outdoor pool and spa facilities were a daily feature of our stay. Thank you for the lovely breakfasts which were great value and delicious.
