Le Jas de Gordes

O hotel fica em lugar de paisagem muito bonita. Gostamos também da gentileza da pessoa responsável pelo café da manhã.

Nosso quarto ficava em um anexo à parte do corpo do hotel. As instalações eram boas mas para chegar ao quarto passávamos por um jardim pouco cuidado, um lugar que não condizia com as instalações do Les Jas de Gordes. Para quem gosta de andar, o hotel fica a uma pequena distância do centro de Gordes, mas para ir a pé ao centro de Gordes, fica perigoso pois você tem que caminhar na estrada.

I spotted this hotel as we were driving up to Gorges years ago & I definitely wanted to stay here on my next trip to Provence. We got the chance over a holiday weekend in August & it exceeded all my expectations. We barely left the grounds spending most of the time by the pool & enjoying the tranquility of our surroundings. We had room 14 on the ground floor w/a patio overlooking the gardens & the AC was heaven! The staff were very welcoming & friendly plus the lobby had various information of the surroundings areas & a bar. The breakfast was delicious & very satisfying down to the little jars of honey lavender w/c I greatly appreciated. The grounds were large & there were many seating areas to choose from. About a 5 minute walk from the hotel was the iconic parking/view of Gordes & another 15 - 20 minutes walk into the town itself. Perfect location for beauty, quietness & accessible to other towns in the area. All in all this hotel did not disappoint & we will definitely return.

Only one side of the bed had outlet/plugs for cellphone, battery, ipad. Everything else was perfect.

Le lieu est très sympa, mais un peu loin de Gordes à pieds, chambre petite, sèche cheveux bas de gamme, et oreillers très mauvais à revoir. Nous avons eu l'orage et la grêle là première soirée, l'eau a débordé dans notre chambre et sur le tapis. A revoir aussi pour un 4 étoiles.

Le camere strette, molto molto molto sporche, senza finestre, piene di zanzare e con tutte le pareti sporche di sangue per l'uccisioni di tantissime zanzare. Il personale di servizio non ha pensato a pulire prima che entrassero nuovi clienti. Abbiamo ordinato 2 Gin tonic, costati € 31,00, e ci sono stati serviti senza vassoio, senza snack, portando semplicemente 2 bicchieri in mano ai clienti. A colazione lo staff non ha chiesto se volevamo qualcosa come in tutti gli hotel.Non si può avere 4 stelle con un servizio talmente pessimo

Shower enclosure in our room needed some attention. The sun loungers around the pool weren’t particularly comfortable. No restaurant which we were aware of but it would have been beneficial if there had been one as for us it was just a little too far to walk into Gordes town.

Super relaxing and clean hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The property has a beautiful main building, garden and lovely swimming pool area. You can order drinks and snacks to the pool or other rest area’s in the garden. The breakfast is more than complete with delicious local bread, cold cuts, cheese and fruits. The room was perfect in size, with good airconditioning. Parking is frees next to the hotel and there is a charger for electric vehicles, where the hotel charges 12€ per session.

The pool area is quite close to the main road leading up to Gordes. Sometimes you van hear the cars, which takes away from the relaxing vibe.

La habitacion pequeña incomoda en un anexo del.hotel no valia los €400 que pagamos...una estafa

El Hotel es muy lindo y bien ubicado, las instalaciones impecables y la gente de recepción muy amables todos, muy buen desayuno ….pero…el problema es que la habitación que nos tocó estaba fuera del edificio principal , era un anexo ubicado en el medio de un jardín , al que hubo que llegar arrastrando el equipaje, bajar una rampa incómoda y subir al anexo por escaleras, la habitación estaba normal, algo antigua, al llegar de noche no había luz en el sector del jardín. Otro tema fue el piso de la ducha el en baño estaba vencido y hacía ruido al pisarlo…. por 490usd que pagamos por 1 noche …no cumplió con lo esperado… creo que las habitaciones centrales del edificio son mejores….

The property and grounds were simply stunning. The room was comfortable, well-equipped, stylish, updated, and immaculate. The pool and multiple outdoor lounge areas are so relaxing. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in Europe.

Very old fashioned small bathroom and bedroom . No bath products unless requested. No laundry . Asked for 3 days for light to be fixed and wasn’t done. Limited food after breakfast service for the rest of the day. Fairly indifferent staff who messed up on our dinner reservation elsewhere. No towels by pool .

Die Anlage ist fantastisch! Es gibt sehr viel Platz, sowie im Garten als auch am Pool. Außerdem gibt es ein Outdoor Wohnzimmer, wo man sich aufhalten kann. Das Personal ist super nett, wobei wir da noch Marie hervorheben wollen, die die Seele des Hotels ist. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und für französische Verhältnisse ausgezeichnet!

Der einzige Manko ist, dass das Hotel an der Straße liegt, die nach Gordes führt. Daher ist der Autoverkehr mal mehr mal weniger sehr gut zu hören.

The hotel is at a perfect location to see Gordes and other cities in the area. The room is very nice and comfortable. The room also has the best shower that I had on my entire trip! Breakfast comes with the stay and a very nice and very sweet lady named Massey is in charge. She was going to make a box breakfast for us since we were leaving early on check out day. The hotel also had a very nice bar in the lobby that is fully stocked plus you can get panini’s and other things to eat The bar and lobby area were run by two very nice ladies named Asma and Marie. All three ladies make this the hotel the hotel that my wife and I will be coming back to next year!

We really enjoyed our room which overlooked the gardens and the staff was very friendly. They made dinner reservations for us both nights we were at the hotel and also gave us information on the best way to walk to Gordes and where to park when we drove to Gordes to have dinner one evening. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay near Gordes.

Tout d'abord lorsque l'on arrive c'est la beauté du lieu qui nous surprend avec un mas niché dans un environnement remarquable, ensuite c'est l'accueil chaleureux et souriant qui nous accompagne jusqu'à notre chambre desservie par des allées méditerranéennes magnifiques. Le confort s'invite dans les détails avec une petit patio et son mobilier pour se relaxer, le petit déjeuner est tout aussi délicat, frais, varié et bien présenté. Mention spéciale à tout le personnel quelque soit sa mission car nous n'avons rencontré au cours de notre séjour que des personnes agréables ( accueil, jardinier, service, entretien .... ) Tous ensemble ils font de ce séjour un moment inoubliable .... un grand merci ! L'emplacement est bien sur idéal à 20mn de marche de Gordes, situé au carrefour de tous les merveilleux villages, dans une campagne luxuriante d'olivier, de lavande, de coquelicots, de lauriers et de cyprés

The staff, lovely and very friendly and kind. The construction and style. Very clean. Our big room with a lovely balcony and view that we used a lot to read, watch the birds of prey etc. The gardens and pool. We were there in late April with day time high temperatures varying from 20 to 26 - the late evenings were thankfully cooler. If going in the height of summer, I would consider one of the ground floor rooms as they have deeply shaded patios, but you sacrifice the view we had. You can take a number of walks or full on hikes directly from the hotel - good maps in the small Tabac near the Spar in Gordes centre. The hotel recommended visorando app, which was also useful for walks especially as it shows your location even if no signal the same as OS locate.

These are not dislikes, we loved it and would happily stay again but things to be aware of.. There is a little road noise. The vast majority of the time it was ok, and we don’t like road noise, but Friday evening might be boy racer/motorbike night. We found the property very relaxing and on the whole peaceful. There is no restaurant on site - they are clear about this before booking. They have a small menu of light snacks that runs until 20:30 and there is a fridge in the room and they are happy for you to picnic in your own room. We came to really enjoy the 20 min walk in/out of Gordes for dinner. You can walk on small roads/paths that have no/virtually no cars and the views are great - you need to be in trainers or similar. If there at weekends or high season you must make reservations. There are also taxis.

...Hotel gut gelegen, mit beheiztem Schwimmbad auch im Oktober, gediegenes Ambiente, gutes internationales Frühstück im Preis incl.. Hotellage leider nicht nahe genug, um problemlos das Zentrum von Gordes zu Fuß zu erreichen...Shuttleservice wäre super, zumal das Hotel leider kein Restaurant hat, im Oktober sind in Gordes am Abend nur ganz wenige Restaurants offen, die Parkplatzsituation in Gordes in zentrumsnaher Lage ist prekär und tagsüber touristischer Alptraum. Zimmer waren sehr klein aber gediegen eingerichtet, überraschender Weise aber in Kellerlage ohne Fenster, nur Licht über verglaste Eingangstür, kein wirklicher Sichtschutz von außen bei Licht im Zimmer...Überirdische Zimmer wären 100,--€ pro Nacht teurer gewesen (die Kellerlage war aber aus der Beschreibung nicht ersehbar)...
