Very narrow passage to room, tiny rooms, no refrigerator in room despite a cabinet for it, cold staff, no space to sit on the toilet if you're taller than 160cm, no water/kettle/cups in the room, bathroom cups had toothpaste stains in it. Overall not worthy of being called a 3 star hotel in my opinion.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026La ubicación. Está ubicado en un buen barrio, con un carrefour junto al Hotel y más mercados, ademas de bares y restaurantes para comer o cenar. La parada de bus está justo en la puerta del Hotel y tiene buenas conexiones. Del metro mas cercano está a 8 minutos andando. Las habitaciones. Son pequeñas pero confortables. Con muy buena iluminación natural. Limpias. El desayuno es muy completo. El pan y la bollería muy rica, y con opciones de fruta en almibar, cereales, una gran variedad de mermeladas exquisitas, yogures, queso, huevos revueltos y salchichas. Además, hay un dispensador de agua El servicio súper competente. Todos muy, muy amables. Volveremos!

On the first night, the AC was dripping water and flooded the room. All the hotel could do was provide us with a bucket. We didn’t sleep for a minute because of the constant noise of the water droplets. For the second and third nights, we were moved to another room, where the AC made loud, random cracking noises throughout the night. The noises were startling enough to wake us up constantly. Another very concerning incident happened in the evening when the hotel’s main door was locked and there was no one at the reception desk. We were trying to leave while another family was trying to get in, and both of us were locked on opposite sides of the door. We genuinely felt trapped. The reception staff, with the exception of one employee, were very dismissive and unhelpful. The room is also not a “quadruple room” as described. It is actually two tiny connecting double rooms, and yes, that makes a big difference. It meant our family had to split into two separate rooms every time we wanted to sleep or even watch TV, which completely ruined the family-vacation atmosphere. I passed on many other hotels that were closer to the city center and cheaper specifically because I did not want two connecting rooms. Gabriel Hotel’s description is misleading, making you believe you are booking a proper family/quadruple room when, in reality, you are getting two small connected rooms. Unfortunately, we spent three claustrophobic, noisy, and sleepless nights here. A very disappointing experience.

The staff diligently cleaned up every day .The room was alright however the washroom was very cramped . The breakfast was repetitive, however filling . There were gluten free options . Yoghurt was very good with ample options . Considering fruit was in high demand , it could be stocked in larger quantities. Coffee was good. Enjoyed some nice varieties of cheese . Close to a carrefour city outlet which made it easy to get a snack or drink . The metro station was closeby. Well positioned for attending meetings at the Paris Expo. Stayed in July which was super hot , however the airconditioning was excellent . Still and sparkling water refill available all the time was a life saver in the unexpected heat wave.
The toilets were cramped. A delayed check out would be greatly appreciated for overseas travellers, even if on a token payment . A kettle in the room would be a valued addition .

They have a double shower including rain shower which is a nice feature. The beds were comfortable. One of the most affordable options close to conference center (at 20-25min walk).
The bathroom had a weird situation with their shower, where there was a single glass wall for the shower, but as soon as you turn on the shower, water flows throughout the whole bathroom and does not stay contained to the shower. During one of the evenings, the overnight front desk employee was gone two nights in a row. One of those nights, he joined a colleague and me in the elevator as he was "on his way" to the basement, all while he was touching himself in his private parts. It made both of us very uncomfortable and was totally unnecessary for him to join in the elevator as it would have come back down after we had gone up. He also asked if we were a couple and tried to make further conversation. For the location so far out of the city center, I felt it was still quite expensive.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Le personnel est accueillant et prévenant. Literie très correcte. Emplacement idéal, proche parc des expos. Le personnel a été arrangeant pour pouvoir utiliser une douche après avoir rendu la chambre (après une compétition de sport c'était très appréciable).
Nous avons eu un problème de climatisation qui ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre mais le personnel a su trouver une solution rapidement. La réponse apportée était à la hauteur de nos attentes.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Le point fort de cet hotel est sa climatisation et son emplacement (à quelques minutes du metro 12). Le personnel répond à toutes les questions avec sérieux.
Cependant, le rapport qualité prix est assez mauvais, surtout au vu de la taille de la chambre et de l'ergonomie des coussins, que nous avons trouvés beaucoup trop haut, forcant le coup à se tordre en une position inconfortable.
