Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Very clean and tidy. Well situated close to the airport for a late night arrival. The management were very accommodating of our late arrival and were there to greet us.
There are no negatives. This is not a 5 star hotel so provided you don't expect that you will have a very pleasant stay.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The location in a really peaceful neighborhood with a pleasant park and nothing of the horrendous crowds in and around Venice. Buses are less than one block away and take you to the center of Venice or to MarcoPolo airport in 20 minutes. Inexpensive and convenient!
It is a very simple place with basic amenities but well taken care of , comfortable beds and good air conditioning in bedrooms but not in public spaces.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026There’s a bus stop close by to get to the airport or to go into Venice or somewhere else. The bed was fairly comfortable. Everything worked. It was clean. The staff were friendly and new multiple languages.
There are a couple of restaurants close by, but not much else to do. The breakfast was minimal, mostly bread and sweets.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Das Frühstück war gut (u.a. immer frische Croissants, Wurst, Käse, Saft, Obst, Kaffee, Tee, Joghurt). Die Zimmer sauber. Da es draußen über 30 Grad waren, haben wir die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet, die uns (im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels, wo sie meist oben angebracht ist und aufs Bett zeigt) nicht ins Gesicht pustete, sondern unter dem Fenster nach oben. Der Raum war dadurch auch bei der kleinsten Stufe angenehm kühl und es war nicht laut. Zimmer nach hinten - sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. 3 Bushaltestellen in unmittelbarer Nähe, so dass man schnell in der Innenstadt ist (ca. 40 min)
Ziemlich verkramte Ecken hinter dem Speiseraum. Das wirkte ein wenig unaufgeräumt, anscheinend die Privaträume der Besitzer. Sind aber für die Gäste komplett einsehbar und hinterlassen dadurch einen unordentlichen Eindruck.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026The hotel is in a great location very close to the airport with a bus stop into Mestre or the Airport basically right after you step out of hotel lobby. The Staff was very friendly and the younger girl who worked in the early evening was especially nice as she actually walked over near the bus stop to show me where is was. The single room and bed are relatively small. There's a grocery store, LIDL about 1km- 15 minutes walk. There were a few bars and cafe's in the area too

Reviewed May 26, 2026Facilité de trouver l'hôtel. Sur la ligne principale de l'aéroport pour aller a Venise. Plusieurs lignes de bus aux alentours. Chambre correcte et suffisante pour un week end. Personnel sympathique et hyper arrangeant ++. Je recommande. Pouvoir laisser ses bagages alors que la chambre n'est pas encore prête. Les dispos presque 24h/24h.
Revoir le petit déjeuner un peu simple, mais après tout il n'est qu'a 10euros

Reviewed May 25, 2026Die Umgebung an sich fanden wir für den günstigen Preis sehr gut, auch die Busverbindungen Richtung Stadtzentrum waren gut. Wenn man nach Venezia Santa Lucia will, muss man vom Start im Hotelzimmer bis zum Bahnhof auf der Insel mit max. 1 Stunde Zeit pro Strecke rechnen, was uns allerdings nicht gestört hat. Es gab ein kleines Stück Richtung Stadtzentrum einen Lidl, der Sonntags geöffnet war, was wir klasse fanden! Alles in allem für den Preis und die Umgebung auf jeden Fall vertretbar, also gut für Studenten usw. geeignet, die keine Niere nur für die Kosten des Hotels da lassen wollen!
Das einzige, was wir etwas speziell fanden, ist, dass wir den Schlüssel abgeben mussten, wenn wir aus dem Hotel gegangen sind und wieder bei der Rezeption abholen, wenn wir wiedergekommen sind. Das haben wir noch nie so erlebt. Mag vielleicht zur Sicherheit dienen, dass der Schlüssel nicht verloren geht, jedoch sind wir uns nicht sicher, wie das dann ablaufen sollte, wenn jemand noch nach Mitternacht an einer Bar ist, da unseres Wissens nach die Rezeption nur bis 0 Uhr offen hat.

The area behind the reception and at the restaurant were very messy. It's a staff area, but visible to the guests. It didn't look good. But everything else, was great! I enjoyed it.

Por la zona no hay supermercados cerca que te puedan salvar de alguna emergencia, hay un Lidl a 30 min a pie o a 12 min en bus.

Нет одеяла. Летом еще ладно, но зимой без одеяла? Очень странный запах в номере. Как будто обрабатывали чем-то его от тараканов или чего-то подобного. Зачем-то следует сдавать ключи на ресепшн каждый раз, когда выходишь из номера.

Closeness to airport is its biggest asset although now that I was in the area I noticed a chain hotel even closer and another local hotel that looked more modern. Next time I will compare among these options and current stay to decide.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2025Initially we were dismayed to find that Montealto is not close (walking distance) to Venice proper. However the hotel staff directed us to the no.5 bus just two minutes around the corner which takes you to Venice in 15 minutes. The location is actually in a quiet area where there are places to eat and drink and we liked it!!
I am a 6 footer and my only complaint is that the showere cubicle is definitely designed for smaller guests!! Otherwise we were happy.
