We were able to walk out the front door and walk to train station, and the middle of town where there were plenty of shops and restaurants available. The staff was very helpful in helping guide us to different places we wanted to go as well. The breakfast was wonderful and those cappuccinos were fabulous!

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026バイエルンらしい雰囲気と、使いやすさ・清潔さが絶妙なバランスで、気持ちよく過ごすことができた。室内はシンプルでいて、必要なものはすべてそろっていた。電気ケトル、マグカップ、グラス、冷蔵庫があるのもよかった。駅、ガルミッシュの中心部へは徒歩圏内。けれど、人や車の往来が多くないところにあるので、夜はとても静か。眺望もある。朝食はサービスも含めて申し分なし。パンの種類が豊富！また利用したい。

When they are full parking can be a challenge but they had options for a not so great tight space person as myself. Maybe some screens on the window as the weather was lovely at night to sleep with the windows open to keep out the bugs.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Sehr freundliches Personal, zentrale Lage zu Sportstätten und den Bahnhöfen, kostenlose Getränke samt Kaffee-/Teebar im Zimmer. Renoviertes Badezimmer. Balkon. PS: Das Frühstück habe ich nicht wahrgenommen.
Rauchende Nachbarn, sehr knappe Parkmöglichkeiten (es standen 2 Motorräder unter einem Dach und nicht auf den ausgewiesenen Zweirad-Stellplätzen und haben damit einen Pkw-Stellplatz blockiert. Aber in den angrenzenden Straßen waren noch Pkw Stellplätze. Das WLAN-Passwort ist grottig und hat jegliche Arbeitsverbindung unterbunden.

Eigentlich hat alles gepasst, vielleicht könnte das Zeitfenster für den Start des Frühstücks etwas früher gelegt werden um einfach früher zu ausgedehnten Bergtouren zu starten.

The staff were incredibly helpful no matter our situation, the location was close to the bus/train station in one direction and the city centre in the other, but was quiet despite this. The room/building was great too. The breakfast was nice, especially the cinnamon rolls.
Small thing common to Germany: Smokers on balconies meant windows/doors often needed to be shut.

Zowel binnen als buiten ontbijten is mogelijk, verse bonenkoffie en divers ontbijt. Erg dichtbij prachtige zoals eibsee en partnachklamm

The room I originally booked was not good. Even though there were pictures I did not expect the room to be so small and the only window was in the roof. The receptionist was able to find me another room even though they were fully booked. I paid almost $400 per night which is way more than I wanted to pay but did not have other options.

Only minor inconvenience was the lack of a fan in the apartment. I stayed during a heat wave. It was a bit difficult to get a cross breeze in the apartment, even with all windows open. A small fan would have been great to have during the heat wave.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Das Frühstück war reichlich und vielseitig. Das Zimmer geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Vor allem das Bad / Nasszelle, war sehr modern und entsprach ganz unseren Wünschen. Die Lage ist Spitze. Direkt zwischen Zugspitzbahn und Altstadt. Selbst für mich (80% Behindert mit Gehbehinderung)noch gut erreichbar. Das Hotel können wir vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026This hotel was perfect for our first couple of days in Germany! Super friendly staff and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. The weather wasn't perfect for the first couple of days, so the sauna was a welcome amenity.

The room was great, and the bed was very comfortable, providing good support without being too soft. Additionally, the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Run don’t walk to book a room in this fine establishment. Very charming. Stunning views. Felt like you were at home. Family owned and operated. The Breakfast was fantastic with many options to choose from. Staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you Henry for this amazing experience. I got to relive my childhood of when I lived in Garmisch from 81-90.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Incredible hotel, lovely team and delicious breakfast. Facilities are excellent, the gym is very well-equipped and the room was squeaky clean. We had a small issue that was promptly resolved. Absolutely recommended!

Reviewed May 3, 2026Die Lage ist top, zum Ortszentrum, zum DB Bahnhof, zum Zugspitze Bahnhof, alle mit 5 Minuten erreichbar. Der Man am Rezeption ist Top, ist ein guter Orts-Kenner und hilft gerne.
Alles sind perfekt.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Room with balconies were lovely, as were the mountain views. Very clean. Hosts were very friendly and helpful Easy access to old town area, and nearby train to the Zugspitze. In a nice, quiet residential area. Breakfasts were wonderful with nice breakfast area to enjoy yard and mountain views. Facility had a nice lift so bags didn't have to be hauled up and down stairs. Sufficient onsite parking.

Henry, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed his sarcastic humor. My photos are all from the hotel, including the view from our room, room 23.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026Unterkunft war sehr gut. Wurden freundlich empfangen. Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer sehr modern. Frühstück war sehr gut und es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage war perfekt, Zentrum konnte fußläufig erreicht werden. Auch bis zur Zugspitzbahn war es nicht weit, so konnten wir das Auto stehen lassen
