Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The hotel was good, in a safe area with restaurants and grocery stores around. The beds were confortable. The breakfast was good, with many options that would satify anyone. The parking was OK. I would have liked it to be closer, but we managed. We haven't used the Spa.
The room we had (Family Room), had a small window with little light/sun, because it was accessing an interior courtyard. A bit strange. The room was on the small side, with all the 3 confy beds, not much space left. The AC, while it was working, was kinda old, and a bit noisy. The hotel location is a bit far from the beach or from the downtown. Sure you can take a Bold/Uber, but walking is about 20 -30 min.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026The location was perfect, very near everything but not immediately in the middle of everything. One can easily get a taxi or bus to anywhere in A Coruña. I was particularly pleased with the inexpensive parking - a rarity in the city center.
The staff were clearly tired of tourists - understandable in late August. And while many were friendly and helpful, one or two clearly vented their unhappiness on the guests.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026I loved my stay at Hotel Plaza. Bed is super comfortable, aircon works well is quiet, my room was quiet and modern, breakfast was good with decent choice, parking close to hotel
Main feedback would be that they have an amazing roof top bar which is closed most days. Would be amazing to use that, maybe with an honesty bar if it is not making enough money to have staff there. The hotel is in a good neighborhood ca half hour away walk or a EUR 5 cab ride from the old town so not an issue. The parking is close to hotel and pretty good except for the entry and exit which is a bit tight

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Almost nothing
No bell service. The facility is very old; the rooms are tiny. Their "Prime duplex" has a bathroom on the entrance floor, narrow and steep steps to a tiny bedroom - the bed occupies practically the entire room, and the ceiling is low (I bumped my head). Air conditioning did not work in two rooms; had to switch to the 3rd room, which meant downgrading to a standard room.

Very noisy in the room, woke up several times due to noise in other rooms, the toilet was leaking, at the breakfast there is one coffee machine with a sizable queue, that also delivers hot water for tea, with always a drop of coffee. Very expensive for what you get. If the price would have been 1/4 I would have been acceptable
