Incantevole struttura in posizione ideale per visite nei dintorni. Squisite l'ospitalità e la disponibilità dei titolari e del loro staff sempre pronti a soddisfare le esigenze dei clienti. Assolutamente da provare il loro ristorante!

I gestori molto disponibili e gentili. La camera molto spaziosa, arredata in modo elegante, ben climatizzata, confortevole e ben fornita per ogni necessità. La colazione ricca. La cena servita dal ristorante davvero eccellente (ovviamente questo servizio era a parte). Tornerò sicuramente.

The breakfast was lovely! A beautiful assortment was waiting for us at our table when we came down for breakfast. The location was fantastic! Right in the town. This is a boutique hotel with so much charm and the best restaurant in Grottaferatta in my opinion. The food and the ambience is out of this world. The hotel/restaurant is family owned and family run. Very warm people and very accommodating. I can’t say enough.

Amazing place: this is historic building constructed in like 1850s and it still has lots of heritage inside. The rooms are big (by Rome standards), the rooms are finished with natural wood and bathrooms are all marble and stone finished. Breakfast is nice, but staff is super nice and welcoming (the owners by the way are always around).

Remember that this beautiful hotel is located 35-50 mins car drive from Rome: you have to have a car to be able to come to this place and to reach Rome.

Splendido hotel in una bellissima zona fuori Roma, tutto impeccabile dalla camera, al servizio, al cibo, veramente consigliato, esperienza fantastica!

The friendly staff, accommodating environment, and beautiful area with clean and well-kept rooms made my stay enjoyable. I will definitely return.

The ambiance, like stepping into another world of long ago … the staff were so helpful and Paul - a member of the family who owns the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. The restaurant cuisine choice was excellent and again the amazing knowledgeable staff of great wines. The bedlinen was 100% linen and the bed with topper … so comfortable the huge mosaic circular Bath / rain shower was fantastic and towels were excellent quality. We loved it there and the town was charming with many boutiques and historic features along with great restaurants too. Parking was just adjacent for a small fee.

Hotel situé à Grottaferrat que nous avions choisi pour pouvoir nous rendre facilement à la Villa d'Este , Villa Adriana et Castel Gandolfo et ses villages de montagne. accueil chaleureux et typique avec le charme à l'italienne. La famille qui gère l'établissement est charmante. Notre chambre était au rez de chaussee et très bien agencée avec une litterie impeccable et de plus une couette lestée pour bien dormir. Première fois que je rencontre cela dans un hotel. Grande salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne tout en marbre. Le petit dejeuner est servi à table et avec du choix et de qualité sur les viennoiserie et fraises des bois succulentes ( nous etions dans la saison).

Pour ma part tout était parfait

Colazione: solo dolce e scelta limitata.

Ambiente classicheggiante ma moderno . Ristorante molto bello ricavato da una antica struttura con annesso dedalo di cunicoli cantine da visitare.

Erano previste delle pantofole che non ho trovato

Stay was perfect for our last night. Room was clean and the restaurant is AMAZING! We would definitely come back.

Clean, beautiful room. Nice bed. Great location. Terrific restaurant (“Taverna”) attached to the property and run by the same family, open for lunch and dinner. Not to be missed. Most of all: lovely people!

Nothing we did not like. One comment: We travel to Italy frequently, so we know well what an Italian idea of breakfast is. But theirs is a bit Spartan compared to recent stays in other similar-quality Italian hotels. But not to worry! Nice coffee bars and an excellent bakery (“Pomme Pasticeria”) just around the corner!

We have stayed here before and it was just as good as the first time. The bathroom is beautiful. We visited Nemi and Castel Gandolfo, which are nearby villages that are beautiful. Also the wine country for the area is very nearby too.

חדר שהוזמן (סוויטה) הצריך עלייה במדרגות. לא התאים לנו. קבלנו מיני סוויט שהשימוש במקלחת לא היה נוח בעליל. וכמו כן אביזרי המקלחת הונחו על מדף…ממש לא מתאים.

Lovely property!!

We absolutely loved Locanda della Spuntino. A perfect place for an overnight in or out of Rome airport but also for an extended stay. Everything was exquisite and the pure linen embossed bed sheets were amazing. Pure linen napkins at breakfast were also a nice touch. It’s next door to a taverna which is also pretty amazing. We LOVED our stay but could so easily have stayed longer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

There was nothing to dislike.

A Great Boutique Hotel in a true Roman Neighborhood! Place has Tons of Character! Area is very old going back to Roman times! There is parking across the street. Our room was very clean, & again, a lot of old world character! Restaurant onsite is also very good! We were able to get a train downtown from the Frascoti Station.

First time visiting Locanda dello Spuntino, will definitely be back Thankyou for an amazing dinner.

Unique, historic family operation. Quiet rooms with lots of character. Brilliant breakfast and restaurant. Needs some wifi restructure/enhancement but other than that a brilliant stay.

I really enjoyed my stay in these apartments! Great location, spotless cleanliness, comfortable beds, and a stylish interior. Everything is well thought out, making the stay as comfortable as possible. The host was very attentive and always available. I will definitely come back!

Fantastic location to be able to easily walk to a lot of iconic attractions. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and always helpful.

The bed wasn't all that comfortable

Beautiful hotel with much attention to detail. Extra nice linen sheets. Nice Bvlgari toiletries and extra nice touch with robe and bath slippers. Bathtub ring needs a little attention in cleaning, but otherwise EVERYTHING was great. Nice breakfast served in front of fire place in the lobby and super location close to city center.

Exceptionally clean, old world charm with latest amenities . Giant soaker jacuzzi tub, loveliest soft linen sheets, it was all so perfect!

I have mobility issues,. The site was has an elevator which I asked for but there are additional 10 or so winding steps to get to 4th flr penthouse suite. 2nd flr has no steps issue. Luckily I was able to manage steps but very slowly. It isn’t wheelchair accessible or if you can’t do stairs at all, Also lighting in hallways is dim, I didn’t see the 2 steps going down to the elevator The staff was amazing!

This is a gem of a spot. Stay here if you can get in.

My husband and I stayed in Locanda dello Spuntino for 3 nights while traveling around Castelli Romani . It is very nice, family run , authentic hotel located in the residential area of Grottaferrata. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the park. Even though the room was facing the street, the shutters provided good isolation and it was very quiet. The room is a good size for Italy with wooden beams and hardwood floors. Large bathroom with beautiful mosaic shower. I have to mention the bedding which is luxurious. Crisp linen sheets, fluffy pillows, truly wonderful. It was a great place to relax after wandering around the area. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Cappuccino, fresh orange juice , pastries , local ham and cheeses, eggs prepared to order in a hotel restaurant that serves great pastas and other authentic Roman specialities in the evening. We would love to stay in this hotel again.

There was no parking space available when we arrived and the parking is not free. It was not clearly stated on the website . Hotel sorted everything out in the end , that was the only small problem that we had .

Beautiful grounds with unique rooms and features. The rooms are small but have everything you need and the front desk does their absolute best to accommodate. Excellent food and gelato within a 5 minute walk in an extremely quiet and quaint neighborhood. A quick 20 minute bus ride to the Rome Metro station and another 20 minute train to Rome. Come here if you want to be close to Rome but not IN Rome! Bed is on the firmer side but very comfortable. Only complaint was air conditioning (cooling) was not available due to the whole hotel being on the winter system. Seems like only heating or only cooling is available - however this is common to older hotels in Rome. Wifi was very poor but not an huge issue. Overall had a great stay!!

After checking in and seeing our room, we discovered that it was not the demi-suite we booked and that the air conditioning in the hotel was not functional. When I addressed our concerns to the front desk, they offered us another room on the first floor which was slightly cooler but still had no AC and still extremely warm. It was also smaller than the room we booked. We decided to leave and booked a room elsewhere. I felt like we were being taken advantage of as American tourists.

We loved our stay at Locanda dello Spuntino this week. The restaurant has an incredible interior, straight out of a Caravaggio painting and the staff were all so lovely and helpful. It’s a non touristy town so it feels very genuine and it’s great to be in the centre and able to walk everywhere. Only 20 mins from Ciampino airport. It was very rainy when we were there so we only saw the amazing castle as we left. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful service and staff. The first time we experienced the owners restaurant 45 years ago and keep coming back. The hotel and the restaurant are both worth experiencing. The help with our luggage and parking our cars made it a breeze to check in. They were so helpful and obliging. The best experience in Rome.
