Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt. Alles sauber. Ein Problem mit der Dusche wurde sofort behoben.Das Frühstück superlecker und reichlich. Sind morgens um 6 Uhr weitergefahren Mecky ist extra für uns aufgestanden und hat Kaffee und ein Lunchpaket gemacht. Wie Klasse ist das denn! Vielen lieben Dank für alles. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter!

er lag enkel een dun lakentje op het bed en vonden geen dekentje s nachts, terrein rond het zwembad was beetje rommelig en smoezelig

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Het was heerlijk om een zwembad en airco te hebben aangezien het erg warm was toen wij er waren. Fijn parkeren voor de deur. Een uitgebreid lekker ontbijt geserveerd door de vriendelijke eigenaresse. Verschillende dagen heerlijk gegeten in hun restaurant in het centrum van Torhout.
Echt tegen viel niks,maar de kamers konden wel een kleine update gebruiken. Het bed in onze kamer kraakte ontzettend en de kussens mochten iets zachter. En wij vonden het jammer dat de b&b echt helemaal buiten het centrum lag. Je had een auto of fiets nodig om iets te gaan eten. Dit alles gezegd te hebben zou het voor ons toch geen probleem zijn om hier nog eens terug te komen.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026La chambre était préparée comme si nous étions en voyage de noces. La forêt derrière était jolie et nous avons rencontré une biche sur le chemin. Quelques escaliers et les chambres à l'étage étaient climatisées. Pensez à prendre votre maillot de bain pour la piscine.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Deze accommodatie krijgt van ons een dikke 10! Gastvrouw Mecky weet wat gastvrijheid betekent. De ontvangst was hartelijk, de kamer en badkamer waren brandschoon, het ontbijt was overvloedig. We waren er in een hittegolf, we hebben daarom veel gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad in de achtertuin van de accommodatie. Er waren ruim voldoende stoelen, tafels, parasols en ligbedden. De airconditioning op de kamer werkte goed en was ook zeer welkom. Mecky en haar man exploiteren ook een Thais restaurant. Vanwege de hitte was het restaurant gesloten, maar Mecky heeft wel eten laten bezorgen voor ons. Heerlijk! In de bijkeuken is een grote koelkast waarin gasten hun eigen spullen mogen bewaren. En de koelkast fungeert ook als honesty bar voor de drankjes die Mecky aanbiedt.

Mijn echtgenoot zijn kant van bed kraakt enorm telkens hij zich draaide🤔🫣mijn zijn geen probleem 🤗👌 Wel een beetje verouderd niet zoals op foto's.

W pokoju można sobie zaparzyć kawę lub herbatę (do dyspozycji czajnik elektryczny,herbata,kawa,mleczko,cukier i do tego ciasteczko+ woda mineralna). W lato można skorzystać z basenu. Właściciele prowadzą również tajską restauracje z pysznym jedzeniem,którą polecam. Śniadania bardzo smaczne.

Sommige dingen kunnen een update gebruiken, de kleine hoekjes worden hier en daar vergeten bij schoonmaak; wastafel loopt niet goed door…

We waren (alle kamers) iets te vroeg voor het ontbijt (en daarom best bereid nog even te wachten). Meteen werd brood en koeken + zoet beleg opgediend. Er werd echter niet gezegd dat het hartige beleg nog volgde. Dat was jammer,want indien dat gezegd zou zijn, zouden we nog wat gewacht hebben. Maar verder super content!

Reviewed Sep 26, 2024We had been touring on our scooter across Europe and planned to make Brugge our last stop. We had to make sure that we had secure parking for the scooter as we were carrying quite a bit of luggage as we had also camped in the early days of our tour. We were happy to park on the private drive and very happy to have a dip in the lovely private pool! :) Our rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable.We also had an ensuite bathroom Mecky spoilt us with a delicious breakfast consisting of fresh fruit,juices,coffee or tea and bread and pastries.She was happy to provide a cooked breakfast too. Mecky and her husband are great hosts and very welcoming. Our stay at Woodside was excellent and I would highly recommend it .
There was no local taxi service and as we were some distance from the local station we had to rely on Uber cabs which cancelled at the last minute. Happily for us our host arranged transport for us as we didn't want to travel on the scooter for our days out.

Reviewed May 13, 2024The owners are a very friendly and nice couple. The bed was very cosy, the cleanliness was excellent and the breakfast was of 5-star standard! You can book a small sauna on the terrace and there is a decent sized pool! As a guest, you can easily get the impression that you are in a small spa and not in a private bed & breakfast accommodation.
The partition walls are a little thin, so you can sometimes hear what's going on in the neighbouring room. But that didn't really bother us.

Although no fault of the owners the nearest taxi company was 10km away so getting into town (4km away) would cost 40 euros plus.
