Hostal Sol y Miel

As always Sol y Miel was brilliant. The rooms are great, and have everything you need. It is a great location and isnt too noisy. The staff are very friendly and are quick to resolve any issues you have. I have stayed here at least 5 times now.

There is honestly nothing. I would recommend this hotel

Freshly decorated.

Great location.

Great location near train station, restaurants and bars

Nothing

Limpieza y personal

No tenían parking.

This is my "go to" Hostal in Arroyo de la miel. I have stayed here many times before and have never been disappointed. The staff are wonderful and the rooms I stayed in are excellent. For my first visit, many years ago, I stayed in one of the interior single rooms. It was clean and comfortable and perfect for a solo traveller on a budget. I now treat myself to a double room with a balcony and they are first class.

Nothing.

Location staff clean

The mattress was really hard so not a good night sleep

Todella tyylikäs paikka! Keskellä kaikkea, juna-asema ihan vieressä. Hauska ja hyvä aamupala. Uudelleen ehdottomasti tänne, jos tarvitaan lisäöitä❤️

Kaikki oli hienosti!

Location was brillant and bed was comfortable and very clean and staff friendly and kind plus clean towels every day

No air in room from outside and dingle room was most certainly the smallest room I ever stayed in ... If I was to return i would never book single room again but also issues with noise on both nites of my stay

Handy for shops, bars and restaurants as well as the train station. The little bar area is a nice touch.

Noisy, people shouting across the atrium late at night, could hear neighbouring rooms when they flush the toilet

Nice size of room and bathroom.very friendly staff great location

Location

No pool

Obsługa wspaniała Pokój czysty i ładny Wspaniała przygoda

Très bien situé, personnel aimable. Propre.

Lokalizacja

Brakowało w pokoju suszarki i żelazka

The property was clean, comfortable, and the team were lovely. The best of all, the train station is just a short walk away.

There was some noise from the street

Very clean. Very nice and professional staff.

Location. Cleanliness. And friendly staff

Nothing

No aplica

Rien bien entendu

Repeat customer great location and value for money Excellent staff

Staff and location

Nothing

Location , Value for money , staff were excellent. Alba is exceptional

Absolutely kind and lovely staff. The room was really nice and always clean. Surprisingly, they prepared the cot for our baby which wasn't mentioned in the booking. The kitchen is open all the time so you can borrow plates, cutlery, microwave your food or use the fridge. 10/10! :)

All good!

Everything was ashit should be bearing in mind the very competitive price

No swimming pool

Friendly staff, clean and perfect location

Ubicacion

Bon hotel Emplacement extraordinaire

Rien

Výborná lokalita hned u vlakové stanice. Jezdili jsme pak vlakem do Málagy a na jiné pláže podél pobřeží.

La dificultad para encontrar aparcamiento

Seems recently renovated as the room and lobby are in great condition. AC and shower/hot water worked great. No noise issues. It’s surrounded by shops and restaurants. Bus station very close by and free street parking can be challenging but certainly doable. Very narrow roads though so less suitable to park big cars. Overall really nice place and reasonably priced for mid summer. Beach is a bit of a walk though. Great staff!

El personal.

Demasiado ruido. Se oye todo.

Everything was great.

It would have been perfect if there was a little fridge.

Nimic deosebit

The staff and the cleanliness

The rooms could do with a fridge

Lovely new room, everything was clean & looked new. Room was made up every day & new towels, which I wasn't expecting. I was able to borrow a hairdryer from reception. There's a lovely little coffee shop downstairs. Staff were very friendly. Perfect for what I needed for 2 nights. Hotel is on a nice street with supermarket & some nice cafes. It's very close to the train station.

I hadn't realised how big Benalmadena is. It was a 25-30min walk from the beach/marina (up some mild hills) - so just bear this in mind if you are walking.

A great property in a superb location. Stunning walk down to the beach and less than a 30 min stroll to marina. Can not recommend enough. Was initially cautious of the word Hostel but it’s far fromm it. Will definitely use again.

The hotel was a great choice as we needed a late check in. The room was clean and had no bad smell, despite some previous reviews mentioning this. Helpful nice staff. The breakfast was simple but delicious, with a lovely authentic Spanish feel.

The only downside is the lack of parking. You have to find a space along the nearby streets, which can be a little difficult.

Great location. Close to train station. Lovely bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Hotel newly refurbished (a few snagging problems with our room) Lovely outside terrace and staff very friendly.

Room wasn't completely finished for our visit but that will obviously be short term

Location was great.

Room was tiny. I'd stopped there a few years ago as a solo traveller and the room was much bigger. My room was not good value for money.

L’emplacement

Pas de réfrigérateur et le petit déjeuner

Perfect location in Arroyo. I have stayed at Sol y Miel many times and will continue to do so. It’s very nice.

Super bien comunicado con el transporte

Precio alto

Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable and the location is fantastic away from the coast although only a 25min walk downhill to get there.

The hotel has recently had a major refurbishment which is lovely but there were a few problems with room. There was no safe or fridge yet (but a space for one) also a problem with water pouring through bathroom ceiling fan. We got another room that was fine but just didn't need the hassle. Our friends rooms were fine. Hopefully just temporary issues as everything else was great.
