We stayed in a Lanai room which we thought would be a bit more swish but were totally disappointed. These Rooms need refurbishing. They have upgraded the reception entry/area but so much more needs to be done. Breakfasts were ordinary compared to other hotels over the years.

Rooms were Perfect, Cozy and Very Spacious

Service was little slow, but yes attitude of staff and accommodating behaviour was up to the mark.

Quad Room (4 separate beds, 2nd Floor): Clean, fresh-smelling, and featured a larger bathroom. Despite being cheaper than the Family Room, it was far better and highly recommended (stair access required). ​Breakfast Spread & Quality: Comprehensive, tasty, and varied daily buffet with a great selection of fresh fruits, juices, breads, various teas, an automated coffee machine, and changing Indonesian specialties.

Family Room (1st Floor): Noticeable odor of mold and humidity (also with the AC on) and a bathroom that is much smaller compared to 4-bed room. ​Ventilation Policy: The requirement to keep windows and doors permanently closed to rely solely on recirculated AC air felt uncomfortable, as rooms genuinely need fresh air. ​Housekeeping: Poor timing and follow-through. One day the room was skipped entirely despite the "Please Clean" sign hanging for over five hours; the next day, staff knocked an hour earlier than requested. ​Pools & Hygiene: Water in both the Garden and Main pools was murky, raising hygiene concerns. Additionally, towels and bedsheets were occasionally stained. ​Breakfast Details & Service: Lacks unsweetened natural yogurt, powdered sugar, honey, and a broader variety of spreads (jams, Nutella). The coffee machine repeatedly breaks down due to the lack of a direct water line, causing long waits. Tables may be cleared before guests have finished eating and left.

Pleasant staff, and location was great!

One pool was lovely and clean, the other was green. The cleaning of the room each day was not the best - re-used sheets and towels. A rooster out the back of the hotel (right in front of our Alam room) on a neighbouring property kept us awake all throughout the night every single night! Only received one tea bag each per morning and no milk, no soap in the shower, bathroom door filthy, and the room safe was not secured in place it could have easily been moved completely.

We were relocated to a room that smelled of sewage, as the previous occupants had complained, so they were moved to our room…and we were put in the sewerage room! Not happy!

Very relaxing pools,staff were amazing, security help us cross the road for safety. Room service and all food we had was delicious and fresh. Pools were always clean and comfy lounges around pool. Its not a massive resort so it has a quiet relaxed atmosphere.

We were asked for a $50 security deposit which i thought was odd considering our room service bill was about $400aud. I never got my deposit back.

📍 Location The location is one of the resort's biggest advantages. It's very walkable, with plenty of places accessible on foot. Being right by the beach is also a huge plus, and we didn't feel like we had to rely on Grab every time we wanted to go somewhere. 🛏️ Room & Cleanliness Once we were settled into our room, we had no major issues at all. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was lovely. The bathroom was also generally clean and our room received daily housekeeping. There was one amusing but slightly concerning detail: the toilet still had a little message intended for the previous guest! 😂 We actually found it funny, but it did make us wonder how thoroughly the cleaning staff were checking the room after each guest. We also stayed in an Alam Villa Residence, where the bathtub had some slight mould around it. This was probably caused by the rain coming through the natural skylight, so it's understandable, but it would still be nice if this area received a little more attention during cleaning. 🏊‍♀️ Pool The pool was nice and comfortable, although relatively small. It was still spacious enough for my entire family to enjoy a swim. Interestingly, there weren't many people hogging the pool during our stay. I suspect this is because the beach is directly in front of the resort, so many guests probably preferred spending their time there instead. 🌙 Nightlife & Surroundings The nightlife around this part of Kuta is a little more toned down compared to some of the busier areas, which we actually enjoyed. There are also convenience stores nearby, so getting some late-night snacks or drinks was easy. 🍜🥤

🏨 Inconsistent Service Our arrival started off on a very positive note. The staff were extremely welcoming and helped us with our luggage, giving us a very five-star first impression. Unfortunately, our check-in was delayed because our rooms weren't ready yet. We were completely understanding about this and offered to leave our luggage with the hotel while we went out to explore Bali. The receptionist was happy for us to do so and took down my contact details so that she could contact me once the room was ready. We spent the afternoon around Kuta having a spa treatment, shopping, and eating. When we eventually returned, I asked the receptionist on duty whether our room was ready. Unfortunately, the receptionist from earlier had already changed shifts, and the new staff didn't seem to know about the situation. I asked why I hadn't been contacted as previously arranged, but unfortunately, there was no apology or explanation. They simply checked my booking details and eventually brought us to our room. It wasn't a huge inconvenience since we were happy to spend the afternoon outside, but it was disappointing because the initial welcome had set such a high expectation for the level of service. This inconsistent service was more highlighted especially during our experience on the last day was quite different from when we first arrived. The receptionist and lobby staff were noticeably less accommodating. They didn't help us with our luggage and didn't even bid us farewell when we left. After receiving such a warm welcome at the beginning of our stay, this was quite disappointing. I found the staff on duty that day to be rather rude and unwelcoming, which unfortunately left a sour impression at the end of an otherwise enjoyable stay because it felt like we weren't welcome back.

Breakfast was fairly good. Egg man very good. Fruit needs to be changed to taking what you would like to eat. Both pools were excellent but usual problem of not enough sun beds. My main concern was about the state of the mattress. First one was very lumpy. Second one was slightly better b ut noticed it was badly stained. ....not what you what to sleep on. The staff I must say were very good and bought me a donna to 1. soften it a bit and 2. make me feel better to lay on a dirty mattress. Please consider replacing your mattresses they must be years old. Position of the hotel is excellent and the staff just need the owners to improve standard of room.

Nice location just in front of the beach, so convenient for everything. Big room with comfy bed and quiet, staffs were amazing , they are very friendly and helpful. What a surprised for my birthday cake, I’m very impressed. Thank you so much , definitely come back again!!

Awesome breakfast! Great location! The back pool was lovely, main pool was a bit cooler temp. Straight across the road to Marry’s beach bar for sunset drinks was great!

Lots of construction work happening. It’s a loud beachfront area so be prepared for that too.

The variety of food at breakfast was great. Loved the tropical fresh fruit. The breakfast area was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The egg station was good and the omelettes delicious. It was a nice quiet relaxing place to stay with two pool options to relax by. The bed was huge and comfortable. Loved that they had a water station outside room where you could get drinking water anytime.

Having to ask for things that should have been replaced in the room after cleaning. Fresh pool towels, faceclothes (several times). We were told to keep the aircon on 24/7 to stop condensation and at a certain temperature we found it to be way too cold. The shower water pressure was low and could have been better.

Amazing property…beautiful gardens and pool . Super clean and comfortable. Straight across the road from the beach …surf was good!

The staff were always friendly, smiling, and very helpful. The location was also great, especially being so close to the beach.

The furniture is a bit old and could use some updating. Also, the breakfast buffet had no cheese options at all, which was disappointing.

Breakfast was good and the morning staff at breakfast were amazing. Very helpful and cheerful. Our room was extremely dated and in much need of a revamp. There was no plug for the hand basin or for the bath.

The cleaning of the room was rather hit and miss. Sometimes it was cleaned properly and other times it wasn't. Often didn't recieve pool towels at all and had to chase them up. Often not cleaned until about 4.30 in the afternoon. The Pools were quite small and one was so dirty you couldn't even swim in it. The other one was always full of families with children running, jumping and dive bombing into the pool splashing other guests sitting around the pool, even though there was clear signage forbidding such behaviour.

We only stayed a night and it was perfect. So clean and the staff were great.

Beautiful boutique resort with 2 pools. 1 with pool bar and the other garden pool was quiet so lovely to sit around reading. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Lovely fluffy white towels and white crisp sheets. Great A/C and good fridge. Staff are very nice. We booked Lanai room which was ground floor with pool view but my friend was in a garden room and it was still lovely and spacious.

Only a couple of small things. The garden pool was out of action for the first 2 days as it was cloudy looking. Looked green but after they sorted it, we realised that the tiles are a greenish colour so this added to the awful look of it. More attention needed in shower as mould is building up. Prices for beers at pool bar and restaurant at the front are a bit high but the worst thing was, my husband ordered a Jim Beam with coke without checking the price and once they added on the 21% government tax and service tax it worked out to nearly AU$16 for 1 drink even with the great rate we are getting Rp12,200. We challenged them the next day, in case there was an error but there wasn't. Ridiculous price!

The beds were as hard as a rock , pillows were either to hard or to high , we had to move rooms as there was a rooster next door crowing every hour on the hour , and the place was under renos so it was a bit hectic , one of the pools was shut , which was located next to us , which was very dissappointing as well, i found that the cafe and resturant joined to property was pretty expensive for what you got

Kuta is echt vreselijk 😞 veel Engelsen en toeristen en drank bussen die rondrijden met harde muziek. Het is verder wel prima hoor maar echt zo niet leuk om te zien hoe bali echt wordt overgenomen door westerse vreselijkheid🫣 Maja vraag en aanbod dus ik denk dat er vraag naar is 😅

Most hotels and resorts these days think people sleep on over sizes pillows, which are impossible to use and give you a sore neck. Please place at least one pair of normal sized pillows in each room.

A great hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk from many restaurants and bars. Simply cross the street and you're on the beach. The hotel has lovely swimming pools, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. There is also a good variety of breakfast options, so everyone can find something they like. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

One of the swimming pool was closed during our stay but it was not a problem, there was the second one

The location was good, the breakfast has all that you need and was nice. staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed was comfy!

We paid extra for a Pool room, from the first day the pool was unavailable, each day we were informed it would be ready the next day bet it never was. no apology or compensation was offered. They were working at the property which made it quite dusty, but we can see they are trying to improve the condition of the place, just a heads up would have been nice when making the decision to stay there. There is another small pool to use with a bar, but is very enclosed and not real inviting.

Location is perfect , breakfast is yum(best omelettes) , security always helpful getting across road when busy, reception staff warm and helpful. We had a Villa and it was amazing thankyou

We loved the private pool villa. Location was perfect - central to everything. Bedrooms were great. Aircon was great & super cold. Alam club facilities which whilst basic meant you could just pop in and have a quick drink on your way in or out.

No gym. A little maintenance required but nothing that affected our stay or bothered us.

The location was very conveninet for the beach and shopping, liked the water refill stations everywhere, rooms were a good size and bathrooms nice. Pool areas and gardens were nice but looked a bit tired. Breakfast was nice. The staff were lovely, very helpful and kind.

The hotel was being renovated so I think it would be good when completed - but for us everywhere looked a bit tired.

Booked a 2 night stopover in Bali (between Flores and Sulawesi) and chose a hotel in Kuta to be close to the airport since my departure flight from the DPS airport started very early. I gotta be honest: While Bali has lots of beautiful sights to offer once you drive deeper into the island I found the city of Kuta to be an unpleasant Babylonian hellscape full of annoying pushy merchants and even more annoying lowlife wannabe-influencer tourists. Therefore I was glad to have booked this hotel which is located in a quiet side street and serves as a nice peaceful oasis with spacious rooms and 2 swimming pools. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet is decent and the restaurant offers a good dinner menu with reasonable prices. You can reach several supermarkets within walking distance.

If your flight to Bali lands in the late afternoon/evening expect the drive to the hotel to take 30-40 min despite the short distance because of heavy traffic.

Zimmer waren geräumig ohne Balkon. Die 2 Pools waren toll, sowie das ausgezeichnete Frühstück.

Die Duschwand war leider leck und überschwemmte somit den Klobereich.

Not so much not liked about the property- more the check who you book with- we did booking.com, whilst friends with the same style room went Agoda- we all paid the same price, theirs included breakfast, ours didn’t- more our mistake than a dislike about the property.

This property was heaven, so well located. There were multiple pools for our toddler and the staff were so lovely!

We had such a great stay, however at the end of the trip - the receptionist seemed to accuse us of stealing a toddler pillow as the housekeeper couldn’t locate. We felt humiliated as we would never do that. He asked us to be escorted back to the room, only to see the toddler pillows in the cot under a blanket. They hadn’t even bothered to look before accusing us. So it did leave a bit of a bitter taste in our mouths. Such as shame as up until check out we had been so happy!

I went ony birthday and the staff where amazing they really made me feel at home.Loved the room great space and the pool was good.Location 10 out 10 nice entertainment areas that a walking distance even the mall many beachs also

We loved the size of the rooms and bathrooms. Everything was clean. Staff were lovely. Small selection for buffet breakfast but all very good. We would definitely go again.

There wasn’t enough sunbeds around the pool areas. One of the swimming pools never looked clean and on our last day turned brown 😔 the staff were really lovely but slow to clean rooms during the day.

in diesem Hotel gibt es bestimmt komfortablere Zimmer. uns wurde ein einfaches, altes noch nicht renoviertes Zimmer zugewiesen. Die Eingangstüre reagierte nicht richtig mit der Zimmerkarte und die Türfalle viel fast heraus. Erst nach mehrmaligem Versuch liess sich die Türe öffnen. Der Toiletten Sitz fehlte und wurde dann vom Hotel durch ein etwas lädiertes Model ersetzt.

Always had to request towels for the pool and room a lot of maintenance work going on. The room was older and could be upgraded it was hard to dry clothes and towels in the room with no balcony.

Located over the road from Legian beach it’s an ideal spot to move around from. The resort is quiet and doesn’t come with hustle of the bigger establishments either side. A really nice and tranquil place to stay on the door step of the hustle and bustle of Legian if you want it. The staff are attentive and keen to solve any issues as they arise.

The resort is currently undergoing renovation so some construction work does interrupt the daily tranquility. Once completed which we understand will be 2nd half of 2027, it will be well worth staying again. Some of the facilities in our un-renovated room were aging but didn’t really upset our stay.

The location and staff were all excellent. For the price point, you couldn't really ask for more.

The breakfast was very average. The buffet was very limited in terms of options but you can't really complain as it was so affordable. There were much better places for breakfast in the local area.

We had to keep aircon because of condensation, not freely being able to change your pool towel, had to keep wet towel to dry myself after the pool then lay on it, I like a fresh pool towel daily. Cleaner didn’t come until the afternoons. Hard to change towels over when you are around the pool, plus a few new loungers around the garden pool would be nice
