Emplacement, accueil entrée-sortie, literie, petit déjeuner, la déco soignée. Le qualité du service est digne d’un grand hôtel. Bravo.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The room was both air conditioned and had a fan. The fridge was good, and water bottles with unlimited refills from reception were appreciated. All in all, a good experience and somewhere we would return.

The bathroom door didn't fit very well. There is little storage space, which was fine for a couple of nights but less ideal if you were staying for a week.

Das Hotel überzeugt mit modernen Design. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber dafür sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist zentral, Altstadt, Strand und der Bahnhof sind in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal war immer bemüht und sehr freundlich, konnten auch in der Garage parken gegen Aufpreis.

Das Frühstück hat uns leider überhaupt nicht überzeugt und war eher enttäuschend. Nur aufgewärmte Pancakes aus der Packung und keine warmen Speisen außer einem gekochten Ei.

Fantastic location on a mostly tree lined square with other pretty buildings and the pre-historic Museum at end of the square. Hotel Gabriel is situated in the colourfully gorgeous old town Menton, a short walking distance from Menton train station as well as providing easy access to all the shops . Easy walk to any of the many close by restaurants for meals, quite close to places of interest in the old-town like the pre-historic museum right next to the hotel, Basilique St Michel, Cimetière du Vieux Château(which offers the best views of Menton all the way to Italy one way and to Roquebrune the other) - to mention but a few. The hotel building itself is lovely to look at on the outside, with well decorated rooms, clean spaces and facilities on the inside. I especially loved our room balcony overlooking the square which made for really good views/people watching both day and night. Good air-conditioning for the heat, very comfortable beds and pillows, as well as a steady supply of drinking water from reception, using eco friendly glass bottles which greatly minimises single-use plastic waste. All staff and the owner of the hotel were utterly incredible. Always cheerful, polite and willing to help. Their competent command of the English language was a great help to me as my French is non-existent and their communication was impeccable. We were two female friends on this trip and whether alone or together in the hotel or the town in general, we felt completely safe at all times. I did not witness any disordered smoking/drinking or any other types of anti-social behaviour at the hotel. The city has my heart and staying in this lovely hotel was a huge part of why I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday in Menton. This is an excellent base for exploring the parts of the French Riviera, Monaco and parts of Italy too. I’d not only highly recommend both Hotel Gabriel and Menton but would definitely return for a visit in future.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits en août à l'hôtel Gabriel, et c'était un très beau séjour ! L'emplacement est parfait, calme et en centre ville à la fois. La décoration est superbe, jolie et design et aussi colorée que la ville. Tout le personnel est adorable ! Un grand merci à tout l'équipe aussi bien à l'accueil qu'au petit déjeuner, pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils. Le petit déjeuner est un peu cher mais vaut le coup car très varié, délicieux et beaucoup de choses sont faîtes maison ! Si nous revenons à Menton, ce sera dans cet hôtel c'est certain ! 😄

Hotel Gabriel is an outstanding place to stay and played a major role in making our stay in Menton so great. • Superb location, just a few minutes from the beaches and the main street, yet the place itself is very quiet. • The room is great - clean, fresh-looking, with a wonderful atmosphere. The light is incredible. • The air conditioning is really good - you always come back to a fresh room. • Very comfortable beds and pillows. • Great reception staff, always ready to help. • Very good breakfast. • Cold still or sparkling water available. I can say more and more good things this place deserved it non stopping. Our overall impression of Hotel Gabriel is fantastic. This is a place I hope to come back to next year.

Excellent location - 5 minutes walk to all the restaurants, shops and the beach. Room was lovely and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you.

I would highly recommend staying there but there were a couple of small things that could be improved upon. There wasn’t much privacy in the bathroom - it had a sliding door with a gap, which wasn’t ideal. There’s limited hanging space in the room and there’s insufficient space to hang long dresses etc. Breakfast was nice but items weren’t always replenished after running out (e.g, fresh fruit) if you arrived later for breakfast.

The room was very spacious and clean. And the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Plus the location was superb! Walking distance to the main part of town.

Fantastiskt ställe. Nära till allt. 5 min till centrum och shopping/restauranger och 10 minuter till stranden. Lugnt kvarter. Hotellet har stor mysfaktor.

A lovely quaint boutique hotel, staff were exceptional, very helpful & polite. Free drink on arrival, water provided daily, fridge in room. Location excellent, street quiet.

Rooms on the small side, no WiFi or lock on balcony door, we were told this was to be fixed at the end of the season (this did not affect us as our room was on the 3rd floor) Just minor concerns, we would definitely return to this hotel.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral in einer komplett ruhigen Straße. 50m zum Parkplatz (kostenpflichtig) 70 bis max 100m zur Fußgängerzone. Mindestens 2 Strände sind leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Eingangsbereich, Zimmer und Frühstücksraum sind schön eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat uns zb bei einem kurzfristig notwendigem Termin in einer Werkstatt geholfen. Die Klimaanlage ist angenehm leise.

J’étais déjà venue l’an dernier, j’ai été un peu déçue de l’entretien de la chambre dans laquelle j’étais (calcaire dans la salle d’eau, frigo à peine froid, taches sur les murs, le sèche serviettes, la wifi ne fonctionnait pas)

L'accueil chaleureux, la chambre est très sympa, l'emplacement idéal et pratique pour se déplacer à pied, en voiture ou même en train.

The hotel is great. Very clean and nicely designed. The rooms are super comfortable. The hotel is in the city center and everything is within the walking distance. The ladies working at the hotel are so kind and welcoming. They provided us with the useful information and made sure we have everything we need. I highly recommend this hotel.

La seule reco que je ferais c’est de mettre des portes de salle de bain plus solides & plus isolantes.

Heel vriendelijke bediening. Heel verzorgd hotel. Mooi ingericht. Fantastisch lekker ontbijt met ook veel gezonde voeding en ook afwisselend. Iedere dag lag er wel iets nieuws. Een hele goede sfeer. De ligging is dichtbij alles in Menton en met de kusttrein , op wandelafstand van het hotel, neem je zo de trein naar andere bestemmingen zoals Monaco, Nice enz. Wij komen zeker nog terug .

La struttura è molto curata, pulita e accogliente. Lo staff è molto cordiale. Viene offerto un drink di benvenuto. Viene fornita l'acqua gratuitamente. L'hotel ha un parcheggio a pagamento molto vicino e con possibilità di ricarica dei veicoli elettrici. La posizione è abbastanza comoda. Il terrazzino è molto bello e con un bell'affaccio anche se non sul mare.

Il bagno non è finestrato e non ha una porta ermetica. La luce filtra dalla tenda al mattino. La frutta fresca a colazione è migliorabile.

Vooral de aankleding en sfeer van de kamer en het hotel vonden we erg mooi, helemaal in stijl met de stad. Erg gastvrij en service gerichte medewerkers. Kamer was schoon en had alles wat nodig was. (Airco, koelkastje, föhn)

Eigenlijk viel niets tegen, wel had de kamer wat ons betreft iets groter gemogen.

The location of the hotel is great, close to the beach and center of town, yet still peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the air con was splendid. We loved the breakfast, which we took at a little table on the front steps of the hotel. And best of all, the staff was lovely: warm, friendly and very accommodating. The perfect hotel for a romantic weekend 😊

Dawno tak nie odpoczęłam gdzieś przez jedną noc, od samego wejścia czułam jak się jak księżniczka, personel na recepcji był życzliwy i kochany :) hotel i pokój przepiękny, darmowa woda bez limitu, najwygodniejsze łóżko i poduszki na świecie, bar hotelowy, opieka 24h, czułam się bezpieczna i zadbana :) kosmetyki, czajnik i wszystkie potrzebne rzeczy w pokoju, można zostawić też bagaż bez problemu. I cudowny zapach w całym hotelu, bardzo polecam ') -

Hotel in posizione centrale di Mentone, con staff accogliente e molto disponibile a dare info e indicazioni.Reception sempre a disposizione anche di notte, camera molto bella e accogliente con bagno spazioso e balconcino con poltrona per poter spostare in relax. Piano servito da ascensore. Colazione ben gestita sia per quanto riguarda il buffet sia per eventuali richieste. Ampia varietà di scelta. Nulla da dire se non che seppur per una notte il posto è un ottimo riferimento per tornare.

This excellent boutique hotel in the centre of Menton is a gem. The hotel is in a great situation, minutes from the beaches and the old town. The style and design of the hotel is adorable with a wonderful sense of the Côte d'Azur about it. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Our room was small but had everything we needed for the two night stay, with wonderful views from the 5th floor.

Didn't stay long enough!

Ett utmärkt boende i Menton. Nära till både shopping och två stränder. God frukost och väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Smidig parkering i ett parkeringsgarage bara 100-200 meter bort. Helt enkelt ett mycket charmigt hotell, inrett med fina färger.

Vi gillade allt med boendet.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, aber sehr kleines Zimmer. Gute Lage, sehr schönes Frühstücksbuffet.

Schalltechnisch nicht ideal, die Zimmertür hielt nichts zurück, man hörte sogar die Unterhaltung der Vorbeigehenden. Balkon direkt auf Frühstücksterrasse, abgegrenzt durch hohe Blumentöpfe, für Privatsphäre musste man Vorhänge zuehen. Zum Glück war die Frühstücksterrasse nur schwach besucht.

The location was fantastic, close to everything and yet in a quiet part of town. The staff was lovely and friendly and helpful during our stay, and the free water bottle service was very nice considering the heat. So happy they had AC as well as a ceiling fan - a lucky find in Europe!
